Just curious… I’ve had maybe two webmasters make comments as a reply to my reviews and I was emailed once with a ‘thanks for the review’ comment. No one has ever contacted me with anything negative until recently and I’m just curious if anyone else has had a similar experience. My only negative reply was an email from a webmaster threatening me with legal action for a comment I made prior to a full review. I commented that a certain site limitation wasn’t clearly spelled out on the site or in the terms of service. He objected to that and pointed me to a clause in the TOS which he said DID make that limitation clear. I’ve read that clause multiple times and still can’t see his point. So he threatens me with a lawsuit for damaging his business… He argues that my sin is in telling people that the TOS isn’t clear, but I suspect that if I did cost him business it’s because I mentioned the limitations of his site. Curiously, I noted that this webmaster has taken on some other PU members for comments and reviews when some of his site’s flaws are noted. Anyone else have similar experiences? | |

I wasn't aware of this until maybe a year or two ago when I emailed Khan about a review I wrote and he replied that he had been sending me messages that my reviews were straying from the required format. That's when I learned about the staff comments. Now that I know about it I check after each review I post just in case there's an issue. I'd highly recommend doing this. | |

I'll second PinkPanther's suggestion of ALS Scan. A lot of their material could be considered BTS. They frequently seem to post two versions of a lot of their videos - one with the voices of the director and crew and one without. I prefer the ones with the voices in them because it gives it a more authentic feel. They also have a series of videos where they shoot in a Caribbean location every year. Those videos are all BTS-style. I'm currently a member of the Dog Fart Network and they have a site on the netowrk for BTS material. There are over 100 scenes there now. Also, if you don't mind VOD you can find JM Productions' "Porn's Most Outrageous Outtakes" series on several sites. Hot Movies has all five in the series and they have various viewing and downloading options. The only downside is that they are DRM protected, like most VOD sites are. On a side note, I've noticed that Videobox seems to be posting fewer BTS scenes these days. That could be because fewer are being included with the DVDs, but I suspect that there is such little interest in the niche that they just aren't putting many up. It's good to see a fellow PU member who is interested in BTS stuff. | |

Staples has Toshiba Canvio 3.0 1TB drives on for a clearance. The price is $30 lower than a 1TB WD or Seagate drive at Costco. I've only ever used WD and Seagate but the price of these Toshibas has me interested. Does anyone have any experience with these? My WD and Seagate drives have been trouble-free. Is anyone aware of Toshiba's reputation? | |

Messmer's correct that street prostitution is controlled by making 'communicating' for the purposes of selling sex illegal. But in many cities escort services are perfectly legal. In Toronto, for example, the city blackmails escort services by charging them an exhorbitant licencing fee. A paid fee means the police will turn a blind eye to the business. How this differs from the Mob making a business owner pay for 'protection' is beyond me, but that's for another thread. Escort services have significant advantages over street prostitution. For one, whether you think prostitution should be legal or not, I think most people would agree that a woman working the street is probably on the lowest rung of the sex-trade ladder. My experience with escorts has been in Toronto. The agencies offer both in-call and out-call services. I've only used out-call and was surprised to learn that the big agencies own condos near all the major hotels. Within a 10 minute walking distance there are likely 10 girls in condos. Prices in Toronto are reasonable too, with most girls charging $250 an hour and a few asking for $300. In my three experiences I'd have no trouble saying you should go to Toronto and give it a go. My first experience was over the top and the other two were incredible too. In each case I spent an hour with a beautiful woman that I'd never have a chance with in the real word. Beautiful women in their mid-20s don't even see men in their mid-40s. So, RB, my advice it to hop on a plane and get to Toronto. I hate all sports as rabidly as someone who loves sports must hate common sense, except for one… I generally don’t watch any of the Olympics when they’re being run. I find a lot of the strange copyright rules to be counter to the meaning of the event and would just rather not have anything to do with them. I’m also just not a big fan of sports. I don’t watch things like the Stanley Cup playoffs, the World Series or the World Cup. But… this morning I turned on the TV for a minute and like divine intervention, there was the one sport that I could sit and watch all day. The power, grace and agility on display make other sports seem trivial. I am, of course, talking about women’s beach volleyball. But today was even better. In the opening match Russia was up against China in a match where China was heavily favoured to win. Then I saw her and it was like an arrow to my heart: Anastasia Vasina. I am officially in love. I appreciate your help. I'll definitely try what you suggested. My concern is that my problem isn't FDM but my OS. I know FDM supports the XP platform, but I think that mine may have a few problems. I don't know that for sure, that's just a guess. In the past FDM worked right "out of the box." All I did was limit the number of downloads to one and make sure the highest bandwith use was selected. I did that with the new install and had this problem. On the plus side I've learned how to configure Internet Download Manager to do what I want it to do and that's working fine. If I can't sort out the FDM issue I can always pay the $25 and buy that when my trial version runs out. I don't mind doing that, but I do hope I can sort out the FMM thing. Again, thanks for your help. I may come back to you with some questions. Actually, I do have one now - when I use the "Remove Software" wizard I get a note that some files have been left behind and that I'll need to remove those manually. If I do a search for "Free Download Manager" and "FDM" should that locate the folders and files left behind? It may be that there is a conflict in there somewhere... | |

I’m having a problem with FDM and I wonder if some of the more techie members here might know of a solution. Yesterday I had to delete FDM because is was causing a temporary problem and interfering with something else I was doing. No big deal, I thought, since I could just download the newest version and be back in business. I downloaded the latest version and everything went fine up until I tried to use it. I set it for the highest download speeds and that usually gives me 3800+kb/s. But after I reloaded the software I’m seeing speeds as low as 1 b/s. Average speeds are in the 400 kb/s range. I’ve sorted through all the settings, but nothing works. I could see if the download acceleration function needed to be turned on, but this speed is much, much lower than I could get just downloading using my browser. I removed the software again and found a slightly older version and the problem remains. I tried downloading from several sites and all of them had the same issue, though curiously X-Art gave me the highest speeds at 2000 kb/s. Faster, but about half of what I was used to getting. I’m stumped. I’ve made no changes to my operating system (which is still XP). If anyone has some suggestions I’d be grateful for the help. (I’ve downloaded the trial version of Internet Download Manager but I hate having to learn to use new software. One thing that bugs me about IDM is even though it offers the ability to set it to only download one file at a time that doesn’t work. Maybe that’s a restriction on the trial version, but I don’t think so since something else I tried told me that the feature was deactivated on the trial version. So I clearly have the maximum number of simultaneous downloads set at one and I can download as many as I want at one time. Except if I want one, of course…) | |

This thought occurred to me the other day: I have a list of sites where I’ve never had a membership but plan to, but rarely chip away at that list. The reason isn’t that I don’t want to, but that I also have a list of sites that I take memberships to on a regular basis. I join Videobox twice a year, I join several of the sites on the Kink.com network regularly, I join Evil Angel every few months and alternate that with the group of Evil Angel sites like Mike Adriano. ALS Scan and Nubiles are on the list. There are others too. I’ve added the Diesel Access network to must re-visit list, and I think X-Art will be added too. I’m wondering if the day is coming when I just won’t bother looking for new sites. Does anyone else think the same way? | |

Gaypornlover - here's my take: I have no real idea how resolution and bitrate apply but I realize that many people here do and it is important to them so I try to add that information in a review. My recommendation is to download a small freeware program called Mediainfo. It will give you all the technical specs on a file. Like I said, I use those in reviews, but I always assess them subjectively too. I have no idea why, but some sites have higher numbers and the videos look crappy compared to sites with lower tech numbers. Bottom line for me is that I'll continue to report the tech stuff but continue to enjoy stuff that looks good. | |

I definitely agree with the the opinions in this thread. TBP and PU are excellent resources, and PU is an excellent forum for sharing an unusual 'hobby' with like-minded people. I've said this before, and I'll say it again, the civility on this forum is unlike anything else I've seen on the 'net. I browsed through the member list and sorted it by join date, and it appears that the earliest member who is still active is elephant, who may be the 167th person to join the site. I joined in July of the first year and was surprised to see that I was member #1234. I assumed that I would have been a lower number than that, so that demonstrates how popular the site was (and still is). I'll admit that there are some stretches where it doesn't seem like there is much going on around here, and at those times I start to worry about the site's future. But then things pick up again. My hope is that this site remains around and active for many years to come. | |

Part 2… While I’m at it (and wasting an evening writing about porn…) I’ll add favourite series. I won’t justify these choices but I know a lot of them are available on DVD sites like Videobox or on studio sites. Here are some favourites (in no particular order): • Ass Eaters Unanimous – a Tom Byron series with top talent and excellent direction and production values. • Backseat Driver – Another Tom Byron series. High production values, top talent and edgy. • Down the Hatch – another Diabolic series worth looking at. • Spring Chickens – more from Diabolic. Fresh faces who went on to be big in the industry. • Un-natural Sex – another Diabolic winner. The un-natural part of it was usually anal and frequently ATM, which was rare when these were filmed. Excellent series. • Perverted POV – more Diabolic. I’m not a big fan of POV, but I made an exception for this series. Very well done. • Oral Consumption – an oral-themed series from Anabolic that pushed things a bit (not as in face fucking, but as in ass eating and toe sucking.) • Shane’s World – this series was a bit tame, but always fun to watch. • Up and Cummers – I still love watching these old videos with Randy West introducing some new talent to porn. Many would go on to big careers. • Young and Anal – the series from JM Productions. These were a series of vignettes starring new talent in anal scenes. • American Bukkake – this might be a controversial choice, but there really is no other series if you want bukkake with American talent. • American Gokkun – same as with American Bukkake. • Pickup Lines – a series from Odyssey video that used some interesting sets, a good mix of American and European models and some high production values. One of my all-time favourite series. • Just Over Eighteen – from Red Light District. One of their best from a studio with a lot of home runs. • Sodomania – a quirky series from Elegant Angel. Each had a few unrelated vignettes. Very hot, very well done. • Submissive Little Sluts – a series from the 90s that was one of the few from a mainstream studio that played with submission and domination. Some big names here too. • Sweet Rides – I like mixing beautiful women and cars in porn. This older series did it well. • Trained Teens 3 – a (too) short-lived Jules Jordan series. Very hot! And to prove that I don’t completely live in porn that’s at least a decade old, I’d add any series produced and/or directed by Jay Sin. Anal Acrobats, Anal Buffet, Gape Lovers, Milk Nymphos… etc. Jay Sin pushes the limits and may not be for everyone, but for anal sex he’s the go-to man these days. | |

Interesting thread. I hope more people add comments. I always like these kinds of threads because they often point me to scenes that I haven’t seen before and I’m always looking for new scenes to watch. Some of my additions to the list might fall into more than one category because a lot of my all time favourites are movies from the early to mid-nineties which some may consider ‘classic.’ Lesbian – I don’t say no to downloading lesbian scenes, but I don’t seek them out either. As a result, there aren’t many that stick in my mind. One that happens to be front-and-centre for me now comes from the Wow Girls site. I’m a huge fan of Gloria at Wow Girls and sites on the Diesel Access network (Skinny Super Girl, 18 Only Girls, etc) and I’ve never seen a scene with her that wasn’t solo or g/g softcore. There’s a recent scene added to Wow Girls though where she does a full-on lesbian scene with Melanie B. Admittedly it isn’t necessarily special, except for the fact that it might be Gloria’s first lesbian scene. And it’s definitely the first I’ve ever seen. Another favourite is Audrey Addams and Kylee Reese in Jailbait 4. This is a great series, and this is among my favourite scenes in the series. It isn’t a full lesbian scene, but it starts off with Audrey and Kylee playing doctor on a couch for a while. Great scene, even for a guy who isn’t really into lesbian stuff. Anal – Okay… now we’re in familiar territory. For me to pick a favourite anal scene just isn’t possible, so I’ll name a couple that qualify. What is possibly my favourite porn scene of all time is Inari Vachs and Tom Byron in the 1998 title Whack Attack: Butt Fucking Frenzy. This scene has a lot going for it: Tom Byron has an amazing ability to show off the women he’s working with but never tries to upstage them. (Tom, if you’re reading this, please write an instruction manual for newer male talent.) This scene was fairly early in Inari’s career and she looks incredible. But what really puts the scene over the top for me is Inari’s playfulness and Tom’s ability to let that shine through. This is gonzo porn at its best. (Again Tom, an instruction manual for new directors would be great.) The scene has no real setup: Inari and Tom are in a living room and they’re about to fuck and film it. That’s a recipe for a boring and cookie-cutter scene, but Inari and Tom make this scene fun and incendiary. Inari talks playfully about how horny she is, and Tom asks her why she likes to get fucked in the ass. Her playful answer is that she does it to feed starving children, to which she immediately and playfully asks Tom “Can I say that?” That’s followed quickly by the real answer, which is “because it feels good.” The only problem with this scene is that since it is from Extreme Associates I don’t know where you can download it now. I originally had this on VHS, then replaced that with the DVD and eventually downloaded it from some pay site. It is available on several VOD sites though. The other favourite anal scene which is certainly in my top ten all-time scenes is from an early Max Hardcore movie. I know Max is a pretty polarizing guy, but this is well before he became a complete on-screen jerk. The scene is from 1993 which was even before Max started his own studio. The title of the DVD is Hitchhiker 1, and the scene is with Tammi Ann. This was an epiphany for me. This was the first Max Hardcore movie I’d ever seen, and more important, it was the first time I ever saw a Tammi Ann scene. I became and remain a big fan. Tammi Ann just oozes this sexual energy in the scene and plays the young neighbour well. Max did several more scenes with Tammi Ann and they were all worth watching. Occasionally I find some Tammi Ann scene on a site that I don’t have and that’s a happy day. As for sourcing this one, that’s hard too. I had this title on VHS, then on DVD and eventually digitally, but I have no idea where I sourced it. I think there are a few VOD sites where you might find it. Classic scene – while the above anal scenes probably qualify as classic too, I’ll add one more: Amber Lynn, Sherri St. Claire and Randy West in Miami Spice 1. I liked this movie (and part 2) when it came out, and I still like it today. It exemplifies the look and feel of big-budget 80s porn. The sky was the limit. This scene is just fun to watch and includes some creative use of a diving board and some underwater blowjob footage. Again, I probably got this from a DVD site, though it’s also on several VOD sites. Seduction – this is a tough one since there isn’t a lot of seduction in porn. I’ll just translate that as scene set-up. A scene that sticks in my mind is from the Jurassic Cock site and stars Cheyenne Cooper and Ron Jeremy. Yes, I know that Ron is probably the second most polarizing male porn star after Max Hardcore. The set up is Ron sitting at a table outside a take-out in a strip mall while being interviewed about his career. Along comes Cheyenne Cooper who recognizes him and she joins him. The set-up is so natural that it might convince many that it’s real. Male acting performance – since Toadsith added this, I’ll add to it. Tom Byron in the aforementioned Whack Attack scene with Inari Vachs would certainly be on a top ten list. That’s probably the best I can do because I rate male actors by how well they fade into the background and allow the woman to shine. Tom Byron is a master at it. John Stagliano is pretty good too. Mark Davis is an actor I like too. I’ll add a few categories since you opened the thread up to those. Group scene – I had thought about this scene as a favourite group scene and was surprised to find that it’s also in Whack Attack: Butt Fucking Frenzy. It’s a four-way with two men and two women (Candy Hill, Taylor Moore, Mark Davis and Sean Michaels). They pair off, swap pairs and generally seem to have a lot of fun. Another group scene, and probably my favourite is from Bodyslammin’ 1. It stars Alice, Candy Hill, Phyllisha Anne, Alex Sanders and a few other guys. It’s a long scene that starts with Alex at a strip club where there is a long set-up of each of the girls doing a strip on stage. Then they meet out back and jump into Alex’s Hummer and head off. Some in-truck oral activities ensue. In a living room setting the girls get worked over and passed around. It’s a well done scene with a lot of heat. And, unfortunately, like a lot of older titles VOD might be the only option. A group scene, or maybe more rightly a gangbang favourite is Tammi Ann in Major Fucking Slut. This I know is VOD only. The movie starts with a scene with Randy West that finishes and then morphs into more guys coming in which turns into a gangbang. When the gangbang ends, Tammi takes on the director, Al Borda. I think you're right in noticing that I didn't ask the question that I wanted to ask, but I think the real question may actually lie in sort out dominant intensity and submissive intensity. For me, the former is bad while the latter is good. Very, very good. And there's obviously a lot of subjectivity in how any of assess intensity, domination or submission (and not necessarily in a BDSM context). I agree that stars like Naomi Russell, Bobbi Star and Dana DeArmond all have an on-screen intensity that at least matches Amber Rayne's, but for some reason I just don't perceive them as being as dominant in many of their scenes. For Bobbi and Dana, that's just clearly the wrong perception because they can be pretty dominant, but like Amber they can put in a spectacular submissive performance too. I have a lot of Naomi's scenes and I don't recall her ever being too dominant for my tastes. Then again, I might just be hypnotized by her ass. Your concept of "dominating masochist" might have some legs in this debate. That might actually be a way to best describe what I was trying to ask. I've heard that in the gay community there is a concept of "bottoming from the top" and this might be the same sort of thing. | |

I'm surprised that you're more into themes or types of scenes than the models themselves. You and I seem to have an awful lot in common when it comes to porn and for me the main driver is the model. The theme or scene usually runs a close second and I'd never say no to downloading a favourite type of scene even if I didn't know the model. Amber Rayne's intensity and desire to give 100% certainly sets her apart from many other performers. Maybe when it comes to Amber the issue isn't so much her intensity as how she can overpower her male partner with her on-screen presence. That normally wouldn't be an issue for me as I think male performers in b/g porn should consider themselves to be furniture. So maybe it's that Amber's performances are so intense that she comes across sometimes as dominant, and that's a turn off for me. But... there are a lot of scenes where she has the high level of intensity but plays it in a submissive way. A great example is her scene on The Training of O, which, in my opinion is definitely in the top three on that site. | |

This came up as I was watching an older video from Peter Romero’s POV Porn site. It was recorded in 2004 and stars a lovely young lass in what she says is her first b/g hardcore video. That may or may not be true. The girl goes by the name Brynne, which at some point later in her career she changed to Taryn Thomas. “Brynne” scenes must be so rare that the alias isn’t listed in IAFD or Indexxx. (Though Indexxx does list “Britt” as an alias.) Anyway… all that to say that I have been a big fan of Taryn Thomas for a while, but seeing this early scene when she was new and nervous is a complete contrast to her high-energy and often anal scenes. It’s hard to believe that the Brynne in this early scene is the same model who does some pretty intense stuff now. I wish there was more of her in this young and naïve mode. Another similar case for me is one of the first Amber Rayne scenes I saw. (The Amber Rayne who is still active, not the blonde Amber Rain who retired in 2005.) The movie was XXX Pinups where she played a gullible young lady who was hired for a lingerie photo shoot. And this being a photo shoot in a porn movie she lets herself be talked into nudity and eventually sex. What makes this scene stand out (two things, actually) is that Amber Rayne has some very good acting skills. Seriously. Second is how well she plays up being innocent. But, as with Taryn Thomas, I was a little dismayed to realize that scenes where Ms. Rayne is playing a demure woman are few and far between. It seems there are more scenes with her inserting baseball bats in her ass than being demure. Not that there’s anything wrong with baseball bats in the ass. I’ll watch Amber Rayne do just about anything. But maybe I’m just reading this wrong. If I had stumbled on the one mild scene that Audrey Hollander did (assuming she ever did a mild scene!) would I be fair in wishing that she wasn’t always so over-the-top? Maybe I should just accept that some models don’t do scenes with a more natural feel to them. So do you have any models you wish would turn down the intensity once in a while? While I’m at it, another addition to the list for me would be Tory Lane. Lauren Phoenix too. I thing that Lauren’s b/b/g scenes outnumber her b/g scenes. She’s too beautiful to be blocked from view by two hairy asses. And just to show how capricious I am with this, one model I wouldn’t put on this list (that I can think of now) is Sasha Grey. Ms. Grey certainly did some high-intensity scenes that a lot of lesser models wouldn’t do but she also did a lot of more ‘normal’ sex scenes. This seems to have turned into more of a rant than a question, but does anyone have other models that they’d like to see in more natural sex scenes? | |

Thanks to all for the replies. I've loaded the backup I have and it seems to be working better. And my comfort level is increased knowing that I'm nowhere near any maximum document size. I'll happily add to it for years to come. I know I should use a better tool, like Excel, but I don't know Excel well enough to have any confidence to migrate the data over. And at 270 pages long I can't do it manually! | |

I keep track of all my porn in a relatively simple way; I have a three-column Word document with the first column being the name of the DVD or website, the second column being the names of the female models and the third being the drive where the folder and file is located. This seemed like a good way to track information when I started doing it a decade or more ago because my collection was smaller and I don’t know much about other software that might have been a better choice. The possible problem I have now is that as my collection has grown my Word list has also grown. It is now 2.92 MB in size and 270 pages long. Long ago it gave up trying to point out spelling errors in names that it didn’t recognize. Lately when I try to load the document it sometimes crashes Word but more often just takes a long time to load up. Neither of these is that big a deal (I keep backups too) but I’m wondering if anyone knows if I’ll eventually hit a wall where Word simply won’t be able to handle the document. It’s just a large table and there is only text. There are no pics, graphics or hyperlinks in the document. Can anyone provide some advice? Thanks! | |

The scene you describe wouldn't bother me if I found it on an anal-themed site. The model is known for doing anal and tried in this scene too. That is a bit of a turn on for me too. It adds to the realism of the scene. But I can only take so much of that. I agree with pat's comment about bait-and-switch being used in many DVDs. Another issue is when an anal series seems to drop anal. This appears to have happened with Tom Byron's House of Ass series. At some point in the series I downloaded a few new titles and was unpleasantly surprised to learn that there was exactly zero anal in a couple of them. I agree that "House of Ass" can be used to denote more than anal, but since Byron is an anal king and includes anal in most of what he does it seemed odd to exclude anal. | |

It has to be something like that. One splitter I tried (a demo of a pay version) said it detected that the files were damaged and offered to fix them. Fixing them caused a serious crash that required a reboot. I'm not really sure what the problem is, but my wish to free up some harddrive space isn't worth the frustration. I certainly appreciate all the advice here though. (I should point out that I tried splitting other videos that I downloaded from other sites and they seemed to work fine. That adds weight to the theory that there is a codec issue.) | |

I clicked through the article to the new site and either Rob Black has cleverly hidden the videos in some secret place on the site or his idea of 100 'classic' Extreme Associates titles is quite different from mine. I was looking for an old Krysti Myst scene that was in an Extreme Associates movie. IAFD linked me to two VOD sites and neither of them had the title. So I figured I'd pop in here and link to the studio's website. But it seems that EA is gone. I’m in the process of writing a review and noted that the site I’m reviewing does something that I’ve complained about a lot in recent reviews. I’m referring to the practice of a scene streaming automatically when you go to the scene’s page. I’m not suggesting that even a majority of sites do this now, but I don’t remember it happening as much in the past. As I see it, there are two obvious problems: one minor and one more serious. The minor one is that if you’re not expecting the scene to load automatically you might be in for a nasty surprise when your speakers blare the sounds of sex. You’re wife is in the next room and suddenly she hears a woman scream “Come on my face you manly studmuffin!” To which she wonders what the hell that is and you try to convince her that it was just a segment on the Colbert Report from last night. The solution is simply to just turn your speakers off. But the bigger problem is that automatically starting the stream hogs bandwidth and processing power for something I don’t want. Sure, I can pause the stream but as I click through the buttons to download the scene is still buffering. In my case I open multiple scenes in tabs to set them up for download and have to deal with a hit on bandwidth and processing power until I can select the download and close the window. So here’s what I’m wondering: am I a dinosaur in downloading? Is streaming becoming more popular than downloading? If streaming is more popular than downloading then this would make sense since the site can stream at a lower resolution than the user might otherwise select. But I have to admit that I’m stumped here. Does anyone have any idea why a webmaster would think that starting a stream automatically is a good idea? It seems to me that this would add up to a lot of wasted bandwidth for the site too. Thoughts? | |

Here's the plan: Khan will host and judge a finger painting contest for PU members. I agree. I tried several trials and would happily pay for what I want, but the trials have their falws too. I think I had more trouble with the trials for the payware. Two of them caused me to have to reboot. | |

Hmmm... I wonder if you're onto something here. I only have 3GB of RAM and if I'm trying to split a 3GB file that could be an issue. But I have also tried many splitters with a 500MB file and still encounter problems. Maybe there's a codec issue or something. It seems strange to me that I'm now up to about 20 splitters and none of them work as advertised. | |

Sorry to start sounding like I'm fussy, but I tried this and the version I downloaded (which was the only one on the site) has no real ability to control the splitting. The only control is splitting the large file into equal-sized smaller files, which doesn't work for pulling a scene out. Thanks for the suggestion though! | |

I tried that too, based on your advice. It seemed to work (after taking forever to figure it out. MS is not very intuitive) but on my test split I grabbed a two minute segment and the estimated time to split that out was 47 minutes. That was my second test. The first one froze at the 55% mark while 30+ minutes into the process. | |

Thanks for the tip, but Movica is based on asfbin and for some reason when I try to use asfbin it crashed the harddrive that I'm saving to. I downloaded and tried Movica and while it didn't crash the drive it did become unresponsive as soon as I tried to split the video. | |
