Location: new jersey 		I have used Verotel with never a problem. Many have had problems using Centrobill for German Goo Girls, to the point where PU will not do business with them.

Many proprietary billers are not a problem. Kink has one and it is just fine.

The bottom line is that paying for porn should and does provide a decent degree of protection even before you use any protection programs.

I would never advocate not using antivirus or other methods of reducing the likelihood of malware. That is just common sense.

But,surf for free porn and who knows what can happen to your computer?

I find myself checking other review sites more these days. Perhaps it's my changing taste and wanting to check out lesser known and non-mainstream sites that caused me to stray from PU. Again, the downside is the limitation on sites listed in TBP and hence, the limitation on sites reviewd.

I heard about a site that I was interested in joining not listed on PU, and hunted for reviews - korea1818, billed as the only or one of the only truly Korean sites. I stumbled across reviews in "rockitreports" and "allasianreviews." While the information seemed sincere and to have no vested interest, they were not up to muster and not as thorough as PU member reviews. I think the problem with all the review sites, including TBP is, as was mentioned earlier here, PU users look at sites a lot more in depth and critically than anyone else.

Random and probably naive thoughts for the day. Carry on.


I see you looking into a lot of Asian sites. One I joined quite a few years ago was Asian American Girls. I have not been back since, so I don't know for a fact that they even have HD. However, it was very interesting and as well a different and unique site.

Location: new jersey 		I have to agree with Jook here. I once joined a site based on a review under old TBP/PU management. Once I joined the site, what I saw bore zero resemblance to the review. In fact it seemed to be what the site would have told someone to say and not based on the reality that anyone would have seen in less than five minutes on the site. I doubt that the reviewer ever actually logged in. I will not mention the reviewers name or the site as this is ancient history at this point.

When I was a member about a year ago I was very disappointed. The videos were small clips, not full length and there were none of any quality worth watching. I saved none, not even one video. Very grainy, poor lighting, shot from too far, etc. There were some dead links and the navigation was far too difficult. I suspected that there was more content than what I saw, but it was probably rotated out. I hope there are as many videos now as stated on TBP, but I also hope their quality has improved A LOT.

They get most facts corect, but they often miss others. A good example is not seeing that there is a download limit. That is due to the nature of being a professional reviewer for TBP or any other review site.

What I was getting at is that I suspect that TBP doesn't and may never see things from the same viewpoint as a PU member would. I think the pricing issue is one of focus and can be addressed.

Location: new jersey 		I want to mention a side issue here, but not hijack the thread. it seems to me that TBP reviews are nearly always different from those on PU for a reason.

When TBP reviews a site two things are true. One, they don't sign up because they are interested in the content and two, they don't spend enough time downloading and giving us an evaluation of the member experience.

TBP reviews are often, maybe even usually, superficial and lack a lot of detail that is fairly common in PU reviews.

I suspect that the pricing issue here is mostly caused by rushing through a site just to get the review done and therefore making management happy.

Recently I saw many bj videos that just didn’t cut it for me. I got to thinking about what is in common about the better bj scenes.

I don’t consider it a bj scene if it starts as a bj, then goes to other sex and then he finishes orally or facially. That is a normal run of the mill sex scene in pornland, not a bj.

I prefer that the model’s face is always visible. From a short distance is ok, POV not so much. Scenes from the sides, especially for the money shot, don’t seem very erotic. There are some side view whole body scenes that work well if the model has an exceptional body though.

Money shot scenes should be either in the mouth, preferably, but I also like facial endings. Other parts of the body shots do nothing for me.

I much prefer that she finish him and don’t care much for the usual where she is passive while he finishes himself.

What advice would give webmasters about what you like?

There is only so much remastering the old stuff they can do as it does cost money for them to do so.

Many state the videos they have brought back were remastered and I am fine with that as they are not saying the videos themselves are new.

The original post is about recycling older videos that have not been remastered and classify them as new. That is a problem the webmasters of those sites need to address.


The problem with the quality of remastered material is not that it costs money to do and they don't want to spend. The problem is that you can only improve poor quality video just a little bit. That is how you get something grainy, maybe even with artifacts. You can't make an old video true HD, although the specs are reasonably good. There is real HD and then there is remastered better than the original quality.

Location: new jersey 		I think a well written, logical coherent review can make a case for a high score. I still think that 100 is too perfect to be deserved though. I think the reason why so many PUers are against high scores is that they are written by newbies with A) no sense of perspective as they have not joined many sites and B) are not well presented cases that are persuasive. Why would anyone be impressed with a review that sounds like a shill, even when they are not?

Why would anyone pay for longer than a month if there will never be anything new? Yet, they offer multi month membership options.

This is so dishonest that you could lose interest in ever paying for porn again.

I think this contributes to the increase in pirating.

Location: new jersey 		I like the idea of questions as opposed to pros and cons. Too many reviews written by newbies don't have enough information to be useful. While it sounds good to say that we need more reviews, I would much prefer a smaller number of more quality reviews that are useful.

Getting newbies to be more complete is hopeless, in my opinion. Many times I have asked questions so that the newbie can elaborate, to find that they don't respond or may give a sarcastic answer in response. If someone feels that spending ten or fifteen minutes putting together an incomplete review that is not informative is what they want to do, that is all that they will ever do. VERY few tiny reviews lead to the reviewer improving and become a regular or even a semiregular here.


As far as reviews getting repetitive and therefore dull, we each have our own individual writing style and that is probably inevitable. I can only say that I try to make my reviews interesting.

By the way, I don't think that Pat was at all giving the newbie a hard time. I know him for several years now and he is very, very polite and respectful.

Thanks for explaining that it was the studio's idea. Stunts like calling it a comedy are exactly why I don't like award shows. Using that logic, they could have nominated it as best foreign language cartoon, as I understand that category has only weak nominees this year.

I hereby nominate The Martian for this years Rise Award for for best porn movie.

The shame of it is that I rather liked the movie.

I seldom bother with award shows as I usually disagree with their choices for the winners.

Last night was no exception. I loved the Martian, but best Comedy? Are they kidding?

I think Game of Thrones should win in every category every year, so they picked Mr. Robot. I have never heard of the show. Has anybody seen it and can give an opinion?
