I don't think we're going to get much tease anymore. This is the age where products are made as cheaply as possible to maximize profit. So porn has been pared down to just the sex act, without all the varied sets and plots we saw in the 70's and 80's classic porn. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

Things like giving you the third degree when you're 15 minutes late coming home, making sure to comment anytime you talk to woman and frequently making disparaging remarks about other women's looks. If it wasn't so sad, I'd laugh - I see women scutinizing other women harder than guys do. Always sizing up the competition. I find all that shit intolerable now. I guess it's just me then. But I'm also one of those people who reads the fine print when I'm signing a contract of any kind, like the user agreement when I'm signing up to a new site. Just not a fan of surprises. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

That's good to know, even though I'm really not looking to buy. I really haven't done much looking at what all's going on in the truck market. But, by the time I'm ready, there'll be a lot of changes, so who knows what'll be the hot truck.

I don't think anyone buys a truck for mileage. That's why I wound up buying a car - to commute to work and run errands. It sure would be nice if I could tow a boat and haul lumber in the Protege! Taking it easy, the truck gets about 10 MPG highway when pulling even a small boat. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

pun [puhn] noun
1.
the humorous use of a word or phrase so as to emphasize or suggest its different meanings or applications, or the use of words that are alike or nearly alike in sound but different in meaning; a play on words.
2.
the word or phrase used in this way.

So where was the play on words? There was no inference that you were involved. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

I get your point, but new reviews are short because it takes a few before people start to get used to what details to include. I'm sure many would not want to bother to compile a comprehensive review immediately even after a promt to include more info or view other reviews. The neggers, yes that is harsh to do that to members straight away.

What do you see that translates into my losing my touch?

I see no reason why people would need a few reviews to get onboard here. It's in the FAQ's - one of the first things anyone joining any forum should read and familiarize themselves with. As far as I'm concerned, if they can't be bothered to see how a particular site is run and what's expected of them, they can be called out for it. It's not so much the high or low scores that set off the alarm - it's the lack of supporting details. When a review reads like "She's hot and I love her", we don't know anything about the site to support the claim. If it looks like an advertisement, why not call it what it looks like? The same goes for someone who's bashed a site. "It sucks" doesn't cut it.

When a reg scores a site high or extremely low, we know why. We get feedback on things like video/picture quality, customer service, quantity of material, navigation/site design, etc.

While I'm here, on this cursed topic again, and maybe so people won't think I'm Mr. Heartless - I never give out negative trust ratings for someone's first review. I know there's a bit of a learning curve to putting up a decent review. But I do wish people would take the time to read through the FAQ's before they post. And, unlike people who've been here since the early days of this site, new users have the benefit of looking at thousands of reviews to get a general idea of what's accepted and what's not. To accomodate most people, I think video is best offered in 3 resolutions/bitrates. Something in the 1200+ range with a bitrate of 2000 or better, something in the 700+ range with a bitrate of at least 1000, and iPod resolution - 700 at around 700 bitrate.

As far as file types, I like to see wmv, avi/DivX and mp4. But avi files seem to be disappearing, with mp4 growing in popularity. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

Toyota - Moving forward (Sometimes faster than you want to)

Okay - Skipping Toyotas

I'm a truck man, but if it has to be a car, I'm a Mazda fan. I own a Protege that's been very good to me. I've looked on a bunch of forums to see who likes what and Mazda owners seem pretty happy with the durability and economy of their cars.

The Mazda 3 replaced the Protege and they run somewhere around 20K nicely dressed.

The aggression is also one of the reasons I'm always stuck for finding new sites to check out. It's just too prevalent on the popular sites. It's less common on amateur sites but there are just too damn few of those that appeal to me (for other reasons). Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

1Bestboy -

If anyone's being "attacked", it's me. You and TheBear have both resorted to name calling, and you are making assumptions about my personal life. You can bring all the people you want in here to continue the barrage of insults - I don't mind at all. All I care about is, again, maintaining the integrity of this site.

I thought the matter of the structure of your review was settled. I do see that you revised yours a bit to include something more akin to what we look for on here, so thank you for that. If bullet points are a sign of a learning disability, there sure are a bunch of dim-witted people in here. Then again, if you'd taken the time to see that we have a character limit to deal with, you might've figured out that putting up a lot of useful information makes the use of complete sentences impractical, if not impossible.

You want to put it to rest? Stop flaming. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

Looks like i found that guy . i dont know how you were rasied but have you heard of manners and heard how to treat a lady.

i dont care about this site i dont care if you do or dont like Miss Hybrids site what i do care about is being told she is being attacked and is upset and ask for help so how about we just drop this and you apologize to the nice lady

There is nothing to apologize for that I haven't already. Fine - you don't care about this site. I do. This all started because of a question of the integrity of a couple of reviews and I take any hint of impropriety personally enough to debate the issue. I'm here, instead of other review sites, because, for the most part, the reviews are believable and fair. If she wants to call it an attack, I can't help that. If she's upset over it, I can't help that. If you want to call me an asshole because of it, I can't help that either. But you're right about one thing - your opinion smells just as bad as what you've charged me with. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

try getting to know her and her fans before you pass judgement and if your IQ isnt big enough to do so then just keep your opinions to yourself and to be so rude to her

But it's okay to question someone's intelligence because their opinion doesn't match yours?

If anyone is experiencing emotional pain over something said over the Internet, I would suggest finding either the Off button to the computer or professional counseling.

Maybe I'm wrong again, but the fact that we now suddenly have 3 new members, all gushing over Miss Hybrid, makes me think something definitely isn't kosher here. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity. Edited on Mar 21, 2010, 02:20pm

Comparing this site to a porn site is an apples and oranges comparison and has no bearing on the prominence of your site on the porn scene. However presumptuous it might have been, I used the term relatively obscure based on my constant search for new sites. I'm a member of quite a few forums, including this one, and have never seen a reference to yours before the reviews suddenly popped up. I don't think anyone here thinks that PornUsers is widely known. If it was, we'd have a lot more active members. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

I'm not even close to a gourmet. I'm pretty sure if I didn't have a microwave oven and a can opener, I'd starve to death. But I do like a good burger and came up with a good recipe for it. As far as the amounts go, I can't say anything more than "some".

- Ground chuck (or better)
- Montreal Steak Seasoning
- Hoffman's Super Sharp Cheddar (Just a favorite brand)
- Fried Virginia Baked Ham
- Buttered and lightly toasted potato roll
- Horseradish sauce

I don't know that I'd call it a trick. If a site offers a cheaper rate for recurring memberships, and the billing company is reputable enough that you don't fear further charges you don't authorize, that's definitely the way to go. I think I've seen some sites that require you cancel so many days before the end of your subscription, so you might do well to check the fine print to see if there's any such stipulation.

And welcome back to the world of porn! Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

I don't think people are afraid of sex. What they're afraid of is admitting that they like it. Our so-called moral leaders keep reminding us that it's dirty, and it's become popular to publicly denounce it as such. I think it's just one of the things that religion has done to society. Hotels have reported that the highest numbers of X-rated rentals happen conventions of religious groups are occupying their rooms. It's just hypocrisy at it's finest - openly against it, privately enjoying it. Violence, on the other hand, doesn't have the "filth factor", so it's more easily overlooked. I don't agree with it, but I think that's basically why it's somewhat tolerated. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

I'm from the opposite camp on this one. I really like it when, as you say, it seems like sex. To me, most of the professional stuff looks overly scripted and fake. Am I in the minority? Judging from the popularity of sites like my seriously despised Brazzer's, I'm sure I am, but I've never been one to walk a mainstream line. I think that site is the epitome of bad sites but still a good representation of what most people seem to be attracted to - mass produced, repetitive content with make-up encrusted women (with the oft-mentioned fake tits). Amateurs, on the other hand, are... for lack of a better phrase... just more real to me. I guess my idea of a fantasy isn't a well-known face, but rather watching a girl or couple who look like they could live down the street from me.

You're right - amateur sites aren't popular and I lose out because of it. It's why I've been here three years and sitting at 39 points. There just aren't enough sites out there for me to review. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

You're going to be hard pressed to find an LCD or LED monitor that rivals the clarity of a CRT. I have an LG LCD monitor that I like "okay", but when I hooked my old Dell 21" CRT up, the LG looks like crap.

There are calibration utilities out there that are supposed to tweak your picture, but I've never messed with them. From what I've seen on the tech forums, even the best of 'em seem to be hit or miss with the results. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

I think the shaved or not shaved issue comes before the anal question. But I definitely agree that it's not a fad - it's a niche. And I think it's popularity is due to the taboo nature of the act. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

A technical issue that just happened to coincide with his reading a negative comment about his site? An issue that hit Denner twice? Looks more like someone went off the deep end, got outted here and needed an excuse to back down from a wild claim of sabotage.

Yeah - I know - I'm the quintessential skeptic. I could very well be wrong, but if I'd gotten email responses like Denner did, I'd be livid - and in no way trusting of someone capable of lashing out that way. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

I don't think it needed to be said. Some people, like myself (he says, laughing), are more than content, and find it very appropriate, to put their outrage in print. Why should there be a need to sugarcoat something that's particularly bad about a site?

If a webmaster/mistress doesn't want to stand up to criticism, I believe they are more than welcome to ask that their site, and all reviews and comments about it, get removed from here. The webmaster's claim that Denner tried to sabotage the site, giving him the right to block his access, isn't valid. A criticism, no matter how scathing, isn't sabotage. It doesn't give him the right to block access to a product that was paid for. To the best of my knowledge, breaking a contract is a legal matter, even though hiring a lawyer to sue for the sum of a month's membership would be a bit absurd. I don't picture it like that. I see him as being pretty quiet, trying to keep to himself. But I do wonder how he likes being called "Bitch" for a change. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

I'll be pleasantly surprised if a .xxx mandate doesn't eventually get passed. It seems that everywhere you turn, governments, the U.S. in particular, are increasing the abrogations of freedom while simultaneously catering to the wants of big business. I think contacting the parent company might also be in order. They might not be aware of what's going on with their subsidiaries and be able to correct the situation. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

I forgot to add one that I never should've forgotten. The first full-length porn flick I ever saw was Deep Throat. It was a copy of a copy of a copy played on a reel-to-reel videotape machine - before VHS was in everybody's home. Who can forget Linda gobbling a cock all the way to the balls? Siobhan Hunter as Sister Isobel (Sister of the Universal Order) "giving comfort" to the terminally ill (but amazingly healthy looking) Lance Weed, played by Peter North, in the movie Nightshift Nurses. Dr. Leo Grow (John Leslie) joins in for a nice DP session - with, amazingly, a couple seconds of slow motion where they pop open a condom for the anal. I think that was the first time I saw a condom used in classic porn. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.
