Although I've heard some good things about 7, there's another conventional wisdom that says that Microsoft is quick to put out operating systems well before they're tested properly. There's almost got to be the usual driver and compatibility issues like there's been in every transition from o/s to o/s. And I definitely don't trust Microsoft to make things like alternative browsers easy to deal with. Despite the early positive reports, I'm skeptical of their next "latest and greatest". I'm upset because my next build is going to push me into XP. I can't find a motherboard with my requirements that comes with Windows 2000 drivers. Now that's a review I never thought I'd get on here. All that's left to do now is wait for just the right 2 for 1 sale - need some sunglasses, too.
I've had more than one optometrist tell me that varifocals aren't good for the eyes. Unlike the lenses with lines, the portion of the lense that transitions from one strength to the other actually does more harm than good. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

I wish I could take credit for their demise. But I'm reasonably sure it was the music - and, of course, the hideous and way outdated token system they had. And I don't think anyone will hate you for liking music over live sound. We'll think you're wrong - but we won't hate you. :bigger laugh: Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

I doubt you're alone in your thoughts here. I felt the same way when I joined D Attic, the archives site for D Archives (also known as Dionysian Archives). As it's strictly amateurs, I liked the site enough. But the midi files they play instead of live sound absolutely suck. It's bad enough that I know I'll never join the site again again. A farmer and his daughter were riding down the road in their horse and buggy, when some robbers sprang up out of the bushes and stopped them at gunpoint and robbed them of everything they could - even took their horse and buggy. So, while walking down the road to the farm, the farmer notices that his daughter is putting on some jewelry and he asks her, "Mary-lou, I thought the robbers done took ever'thing we had. How'd you manage to keep them there bracelets and earrings?" Mary lou said, "Well, Paw, when I saw the robbers a'comin' I took and put ma jewelery in my vergina real quick and they didn't check me there, so I still got 'em". The farmer scratched his head for a minute and said, "Damn - I wish yer maw was here - we could'a saved the horse and buggy, too". Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

Just remember that Omar Abdel-Rahman, the so-called Blind Sheik, supposedly masterminded the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center. Blindness doesn't have to be a handicap.

There aren't too many things that would make me wish I was 25 again, but this sure is one of 'em. I won't wear bifocals, so I have a pair of reading glasses and a pair for driving. I was thinking of asking the doc for a pair of "middlins" cuz the monitor is too far away for one and not far enough away for the other. I can see I need to stop thinking and go for it. Thanks for the clarification here. :laughs: Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

I would say no to that, unless the different angle or different set somehow obscured or otherwise distracted me from the model. From a collector's viewpoint, I can almost understand the baseball card analogy. It's like having a Topp's series vs. a Fleer series. (Hope I'm not dating myself with those names - haven't collected cards since the early 70's) But, unlike a picture or video of a naked female, I wouldn't care if I couldn't see part of the body of a sports figure. It also wouldn't bother me if the first thing that jumped out at me was a logo. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

Drooler - It's nice to know you actually got feedback from some of the sites. A site that says a large watermark is necessary? That's just ridiculous. I've been looking at Nubiles.net for a long time - but everything I've seen from them has a mural at the bottom and up the side of the pic or video. That's one of the sites I was referring to when I said I don't agree with TBP's calling it medium sized. If that's medium, I'd really hate to see what they call large. I also have to thank you for today's laugh - your response from Matt doesn't surprise me. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

I tried to make a poll out of this question but I couldn't break it down right. So I'm asking here - do watermarks ever keep you from joining a site? Looking at some of the reviews here, I'm thinking this might just be another one of my pet peeves. I'm not a big fan of labels anywhere - like refusing to buy designer clothes because I don't like paying to advertise someone's product. There are some highly rated sites that I know of that have what I'd call large and intrusive watermarks, even though TBP lists them as medium-sized. I know it's probably done to protect their content, but sometimes I think they go overboard. When I'm checking out a video, the last thing I need to see is a big, colorful reminder of where I got it. What do you guys think? Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

Aisle 10 at the Piggly Wiggly and Hertz Rent-a-Slut Actually, you've probably got it right. The sites must place ads in magazines, newspapers and on the Internet. I don't know if you meant that in the general sense or not, but, in case you were referencing the film in question here, there was no imitating going on. That's what I thought when I first heard about the film being played here. Managed to snag a copy and was floored when I saw it was an out an out, full penetration porn flick. The beauty of it was that it reminded me of classic porn - with a lame plot and lousy acting included. Any classic porn fans should check it out if they have the chance. This one's right up my alley - and I'm sad to report that, at least in my eyes, there's just not that much out there as far as pay sites with amateurs. I've actually found the "streaming freebie" sites to be better at finding John and Jane Doe fucking on film than any place I've paid for. But, if you want sites, the best I can tell you off the top of my head is AllOver30, Videobox and Skinvideo. AO30 I'd call amateurish. Something like 99% of the women you've probably never seen before, with Stephanie Swift being the only recognizable face I can think of right now. There's a bit of glam to it, but the style of shooting seems to be more subdued than what you might call the intensity of the porn mill sites. Most of the women aren't plastered with makeup and stuffed with silicone either. Warning: Some of the women are well beyond 30 - and it shows! LOL Videobox offers some amateur series, although you couldn't begin to call it the majority of their content. Among others on the site, check out a series called Tony's Amateur Tapes. Skinvideo also has some amateur stuff scattered in with the rest the usual crap too. Can't think of any series or titles to look for, but it's there. I can't believe I missed this one 'til now. This is hometown news for me, y'all! Yeah - I live in the Draconian State of Maryland. You have to understand that we've always had clashes like this. It's been Church Law vs "What people really want" forever. The red light district in Baltimore, somewhat famously known as "The Block" was all but closed down by groups backed with religious fanaticism. Once covering well more than one block, it's now only one block and only open at all because the city realized that allowing a few big money operators can benefit the City financially. Maryland also has fairly tight alcohol sales regulation, only fairly recently allowing Sunday liquor sales on a restrictive basis. And I can personally attest to what it takes to get a divorce in this state. We're just not a fun group of people. "A film with sex acts in it? I don't think so! I'd rather my child watch a movie with 47 murders and 10 gallons of blood on the walls." Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

Maintaining your anonimity is more to guard against just what you said in post #2 here - keeping someone you've given the thumbs down to from doing the same to you just out of spite. But I do think there should be some way to get a thumbs down removed - like maybe after a certain amount of time. Just about every thumbs down I've seen has come early in a person's membership here and people do improve with time. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

I was referring to kids too. I was just saying that kids today see sex as something more open than we do, just like our sexual morality isn't as rigid as our parents. Our ability to sit here on this forum proves it. Just like I think the world has evolved into something with their priorities all out of whack, I never meant to imply that evolution automatically meant something positive. I certainly don't agree with what a lot of what I've seen from the younger generation but, again, it's a form of evolution because they're rebelling against an established set of morals just like we did. In some sense, I think it's just an evolution of sexual freedom. It surprises me how many young people I've heard who go to sex parties and talk about it like it's just another Saturday night on the town. I had my doubts they were telling the truth 'til some of them showed me pictures. They got a kick out the momentary look of disbelief on my face. That's probably part of it too - another generation trying to shock the old timers. Then again, with us sitting here on a porn forum, we're probably just as guilty. Do you think our parents would've sat in a public place and talked about their porn habits? Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

Minors doing the sexting shouldn't be called sex offenders because they aren't of age. That just goes back to the growing problem of parents knowing what their children are doing and correcting their behavior. Admittedly, that's getting harder and harder to do, because children will always be curious and explore their world anyway they can - and they obviously know that sending pictures is a lot less risky than trying to look up Suzy's* dress on the playground. If and when there's an adult involved with the pictures, then there's a serious problem. And it's funny (although not really) that messmer mentioned putting up pictures online. I happened to tell my sister that I have a picture of my niece and nephew on my Flick'r page and she went all off the deep end. It isn't anything close to the naked on the bear skin rug variety. They were 10 and 7 in the picture and it's a shot of them climbing on my back while I'm sitting on a some steps. But damn! The paranoia people have about stuff like that is way out of control. I understand we have to protect our children, but to what extent? Fine - let's ban the Internet. *Any resemblance to persons fictional or real who are living, dead or undead is purely coincidental Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

It doesn't make too much sense but, somewhere along the line, it was determined that a cumshot was an absolute necessity for all porn scenes no matter what. So, even though the guy is so pumped up on steroids that he has to fight to hold half an erection, and therefore not really into what he's doing, we have the jerk-yourself-off-on-the-girl endings. Yet another reason I'm into the amateur stuff - there's a lot less of that crap. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

To be honest, I really don't know from personal experience what all you can and can't do with a DRM file. I absolutely refuse to download them and will not join a site that has them. But I've done enough reading on the subject to know that DRM can be set to allow you different options, like only playable so many times or within a specific timeframe and, almost always, limited to one computer. Copies taken to another computer wouldn't play. Here's another article for you to look through: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,1164013,00.asp Take notice of what they state in the first paragraph: "We can't possibly cover all of the techniques, but here's an overview of the technologies used in DRM systems." DRM is a messy business. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

If you don't have a license for a DRM protected file, you'll get a popup telling you to go get a license. As far as what limitations DRM imposes, it'd be easier to give you something to read. There are a lot of different ways DRM can be configured. Try here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_rights_management Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

To the first question, the answer is that the good stuff isn't free. After years of filling drives from P2P and Torrents, I found that getting exactly what I'm looking for, in (usually) better quality, made it worth putting out some cash. As to the second question, if I said that I would rather get the content free from somewhere else, do I get a letter from a bunch of sharks? I mean lawyers? Actually, I handle porn downloading like I do music. With music, if I find something I really like, I buy the CD. If I find some porn outside of a site that I like, I'll go to the site and see what's what. Like Cap'n mentioned, it's about getting full sets or more content in the niche you're looking for. You're very welcome. Believe me, I understand your hesitation, but keep in mind that this isn't like messing with the registry in Windows where some changes can leave your PC unbootable. Any changes you make in Firefox can be easily undone. Same deal as last time - If you're worried about forgetting what changes you've made, just keep a notepad handy to remind you of which lines you've changed and the original values. Then, if something doesn't do what you want it to do, it's a simple matter of returning things to their original state. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

I had to do a little research for this one and this is the best I could come up with. 1. Open Mozilla Firefox 2. In the URL field type "about:config" and press enter. 3. This should open the Firefox config window. 4. Right-click anywhere in lower window and click "New" and then "Integer" 5. For the preference name type "privacy.popups.disable_from_plugins" and click Ok. 6. For the value type "2" Also, go to the "privacy.popups.firstTime" line and change the value of this setting to "false". Keep in mind that this could affect popups you actually want, in which case you'd have to go back and undo the changes to see them. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

If your review hasn't expired yet, I would just add a comment with the new details. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

According to just about every link I checked out, it's stated that silicone has a more natural feel to it than saline. But I never saw the word "softer" or anything indicating exactly what they meant by "a more natural feel". That surprises me. I would've thought water would be a lot softer to the touch than a more viscous fluid like silicone. So, I guess I learned something today. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

Coffee with sugar is called black and sweet. A subtle difference for sure, but people who say it's still black are just wrong. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

A filled out sweater is nice, but I've yet to see a doctored pair that was as fun to play with as a pair of real ones of any size. Even the best tit jobs strike a nerve with me when she does the "lay back test". Maybe it's because I'm well past seeing 19-year-olds naked, where gravity hasn't taken effect yet, but I'm used to seeing more settling then you get with plastic globes.
