There are two new movies about Alfred Hitchcock:

The first movie about Alfred Hitchcock is from HBO, and stars Toby Jones and Sienna Miller. It premieres on HBO on October 20 (this coming Saturday).

The second movie stars Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren. This will be in the movie theaters.

I'm looking forward to the Anthony Hopkins movie. Great actors. And the movie seems to have a bit of humor to it (not comedy, but sort of off-kilter takes on Hitchcock.

The first one, with Toby Jones, appears to paint Hitchcock as a creep. Hitchcock is widely recognized as a master director. He might have had an obsession about his blonde leading actresses, but I don't regard him as a creep: just an extremely bright and gifted director who had a thing for beautiful blondes: Grace Kelly, Kim Novak, Janet Leigh, Tippi Hedren, etc.

The reviews on the 3 TB external hard drives from Western Digital, that I've seen on Amazon, often mention how poorly the USB connection is attached (soldered?). And that the connection can easily be dis-connected.

Seagate decreased the warranty period on their hard drives to 1 year within the last year. Western Digital has a 2-year warranty.

Along with the decrease in warranty period, I've seen consumers (people like us) who bought these drives complaining of early failures of many models.

Obviously not all people complain of these drives. Some think they are great. Others think they give a lot of problems.

I bought a new 3 TB Seagate external hard drive a couple of weeks ago. I bought it new on ebay. It's been giving me problems, and I'm trying to return it to the seller. I've sent a couple of emails, but have gotten no response yet.

For about the same price, I could have gotten it on Amazon, which has a great record for handling problems and returns. I'm really sorry I bought it ebay, because I didn't save any money. My mistake. If I have to go through the ebay program for returns (because I might have a problem with the seller), it could take a month or more before I get a credit for returning this defective hard drive.

If you are not a multi-millionaire, then who is supposed to be representing you in Congress?

At the very minimum, you need to be making an annual salary of $174,000, plus benefits.

==================
==================

Wealth Gap Between Congress and Average Americans Widens

By Bernice Napach | Daily Ticker 1 hour 35 minutes ago

According to a new report in The Washington Post, the median net worth of the current Congress rose 5% during the recession while it fell 39% for the average American. The wealthiest one-third of lawmakers saw their net worth rise 14%.

The Washington Post disclosed these statistics in a recent story on the wealth gap between Congressional members and the American public.

"These are supposed to be our representatives," says The Daily Ticker's Aaron Task. "If they're not living the same lives or understanding the lives that the average American is living, how can they really represent our interests?"

The Post analyzed the financial disclosure forms and public records for all Congressional members from 2004 to 2010. Some key findings of the report are:

By 2010, the median estimated wealth for members of the House of Representatives was $746,000; for senators it was $2.6 million.

There was virtually no difference between the wealth of Republicans and Democrats in 2010. Just six years earlier, the net worth of Republicans was 44% higher than the net worth of Democrats.

28% of Congress, or 150 members, reported earning more income from outside jobs and investments than from their Congressional salary of $174,000.

27% of Congressional members saw a decline in their net worth between 2004 and 2010.

Lawmakers acquired their wealth in a variety of ways but real estate, institutional funds and the wealth of their spouses were the top three sources.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi increased her wealth by an estimated $60 million between 2004 and 2010. The gains primarily came from the commercial real estate holdings of her husband, according to The Post. Representative Darrell Issa made his reported $448 million in commercial real estate as well as other financial investments.

"We have this huge disparity that's only getting worse in terms of inequality in this country," says The Daily Ticker's Henry Blodget. "If it continues, the country will begin to break apart and get more and more antagonistic class warfare. It's something we have got to solve not only in Congress but in the American public at large."

Is Congress pursuing policies that benefit middle and lower income Americans? The Washington Post found that 73 lawmakers sponsored or co-sponsored legislation that could benefit businesses or industries that involved those Congressional members or their families.

"It's just outrageous that our legislators could be profiting directly from the legislation that they're making," says Aaron Task.

Top 10 Wealthiest Members of Congress (by household assets, 2010) according to The Washington Post:

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) $448.1M
Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX) $380.4M
Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) $231.7M
Rep. Jared Polis (D-CO) $143.2M
Rep. Vern Buchanan (R-FL) $136.2M
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) $101.1M
Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-W. VA) $99.1M
Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) $85.6M
Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) $73.2M
Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-CA) $69.0M

Toadsith and Clawpaws (and Cybertoad), thanks for the advice.

I sent a couple of emails to the seller of the Seagate 3TB hard drive, stating the drive is defective, and asking for instructions on how to return the drive.

....................................
As part of the listing on ebay, the seller states: Returns:
14 days money back, buyer pays return shipping.

Specifically:

Return policy:

After receiving the item, contact seller within: 14 days

Refund will be given as: Money back

Return shipping: Buyer pays return shipping

....................................

I am within the 14 day time period of asking for a return.

I hope I can get a refund from the seller. If not, I will have to contact ebay about a refund, which would be a longer process.

I'm certainly not a computer expert. But the occasional problem I am experiencing, where a download will stop, and sometimes not resume, has happened on more than one site. It's happened on Wow Girls, and on Teen Mega World, and they are both reliable sites for servers, as far as I can tell.

So my guess is that the new Seagate hard drive is part of the problem.

As far as system restore, I am using a fairly new laptop, less than one year old. This is the first time I had to use system restore.

I'm hoping to return the Seagate hard drive, and get one that will be more reliable.

The Seagate 3TB external hard drive I bought was new, not used.

I've never bought a used hard drive. Always figured I would have better luck with a new one.

Like I posted before, I just bought a Seagate Expansion 3 TB USB 3.0 Desktop External Hard Drive.

I bought it new, on ebay.

Plugged it in about a week ago.

This drive is already giving me problems. I've never had an external hard drive before that gave me problems like this one.

First, I have Windows 7 operating system.

You are supposed to plug the new Seagate external hard drive into to the computer, the computer is supposed to recognize the drive right away, and you are supposed to be able to copy or download files to the hard drive.

Wrong.

My computer recognized the hard drive, but I could not open the hard drive in Windows Explorer.

I got the message that the hard drive had to be formatted first (before I could use it).

On Amazon, it says the new hard drive is ready to go, once you plug it into your computer and to a power source.

Not this new Seagate that I got. I had to format the drive. Which only took a few minutes.

Then I could open the drive, and copy and download files onto it.

Sometimes.

One time the computer crashed (because of this &#*9(( piece of shit)), and I got the computer message, on restarting, that my computer was not shut down properly, there might have been files corrupted, (I wrote down the message, but am not bothering to copy it here because this is not a technical forum), did I want to restore the computer to an earlier restore point, and I chose yes.

Then the computer went through a startup routine, and I finally got into Windows 7.

Since then, I have tried downloading zip photosets and videos. Most of the time it goes OK.

Except sometimes, the download stops. And some of the downloads won't restart or resume.

I am currently downloading photosets and videos from Wow Girls, a site I recently joined.

Two video files have stopped downloading. I only got a partial download on them. I tried restarting the 2 video files, a few times already. No luck.

I am seriously thinking of sending the Seagate hard drive back to the ebay seller, or telling him of my problems.

I bought a SquareTrade 3-Year PC Peripherals Warranty on this hard drive from Amazon. But the warranty does not start until the warranty on the Seagate drive expires. The Seagate drive has a 1 year warranty.

The older I get, the less patience I have.

This is my first Seagate external hard drive, and it's a piece of shit, as far as I am concerned. You should not have to contend with problems when a hard drive is new.

And I have no faith in this hard drive. How long will it last? How many problems will I have with it?

Why should I have to put up with these problems, when I bought it new, and it has been giving me problems right from the start?

And even with a warranty (the original from Seagate, or the extended from SquareTrade), the warranty covers fixing or replacing the hard drive. It does not cover the files you download onto it. So the porn stash on this hard drive is at risk, as far as I can tell. If the hard drive fails completely. Or under other circumstances, where there might be some kind of problem.

My question is: what should I do?
Contact the ebay seller, tell him I am having problems with this "new" hard drive, and say I want to ship the drive back, either to him, or to whoever he says. But I want my money back, because the drive is defective.

I've only used the hard drive for about a week.

But I've already had several files stop downloading before they were completely downloaded. Some files would resume downloading. Other files would not resume downloading. And I seriously doubt it's the fault of the site servers. I am talking about Wow Girls, and some Teen Mega World sites. These are reliable sites, with servers that never gave me problems about downloading before.

What software are you using to try to play the flash videos?

Are you using the Adobe Flash Player?
I assume that is the default player if you are browsing the internet, and trying to play videos at different porn sites.

Or are you using the VLC player?

Or some other software program?

When you say you have the latest software program, you're not being specific. There are multiple software programs that will play flash videos (also called FLV files).

My guess is that you are using the Adobe Flash Player to try to play the flash videos.

As an experiment, can you download one of the flash video files to your computer's hard drive, and try to play the file with VLC?

VLC is a free software program that is available on the net, and will play many types of multimedia files, DVDs, CDs, etc.

VLC is a free software program, very small size (takes up little space on your hard drive), and is often useful in playing files that won't load in Windows Media Player, etc.

I'm not in the genius category.

But sometimes I get the message that a flash video has crashed.

Opening a new window and downloading the file can sometimes work.

Or restarting the computer and then downloading the file can work.

When I write "downloading", I don't think it means the same as downloading a zip photoset or video. I just mean going to the URL/page where the flash video is, and then loading the file or hitting the "play" icon.

===========================================

Alternatively, you could download the latest Adobe flash video player, and try to install that. I don't know if you would have to delete your previous Adobe flash player, or if it will overwrite or delete the previous version automatically.

Thanks for the update, Khan.

I come across advertising for the BabesDotCom site every so often.

There are so many porn sites out there, many with very similar names. So it's hard to keep them straight.

And this way, it's just easier to have both names for the site listed at PU/TBP, so you can search under whatever name is given in the advertisement, and the site pops up.

Otherwise, before, you use the PU search engine for the name of BabesDotCom, and you would get over 40 names returned to you, and none of them were listed as BabesDotCom. So you had to remember the alternative name the site was listed under.

This isn't really a site not listed at PU/TBP. Or maybe it is.

I think it would be easier for a PU member searching for information on the site BabesNetworkDOTcom to have it listed separately at PU and TBP under both names of BabesDotCom and also BabesNetworkDOTcom.

The site has both names on the internet.

And it's just easier, and less confusing, if PU/TBP listed the site under both names, with the explanation that they are the same site.

This way, someone searching for the site, if they only know the name of BabesDotCom, will find the site information more easily.

And that would be a win for PU/TBP, because you want the members to be able to find the sites they are looking for.

Not a big deal, but I have looked for BabesDotCom, I know it's listed at PU/TBP, and it takes me a while to figure out that it's listed under the name of BabesNetworkDOTcom.

Pretty looking ladies are good to look at.

But maybe I wouldn't mind dying, if I could ride out into the sunset on one of those gorgeous teen babes I see on some of these porn sites.

There are worse ways to go.

By the way: I am not a stunt cock, so almost all PU members looking at a video of me on a babe would go: What the Fuck?

I spent $15.50 to see the latest Resident Evil in 3D and Imax. That is with a senior discount.

I didn't enjoy the movie.

I thought the first Resident Evil film was the best in the series.

The later movies are getting repetitious.

THE 3D effects on the latest movie were interesting. This is only the second 3D I've seen since they started doing 3D again.

But I wouldn't have paid for 2D OR 3D if I had known the movie would be so disappointing.

Dredd 3D had an opening weekend of $6.3M, which means it bombed. And this was not a cheap movie.

So for people who want to see it in a theater, you need to hurry before it disappears.

She is a great looking girl. I never cared for her sex videos, because of the spitting, hitting, mild rough sex/whatever. But she has a lot of ambition and is trying to make it in different areas outside of porn. I wish her well.

I just bought another 3 TB external hard drive. The prices are so cheap, I figure why not.

The only thing that bothers me is that the reviews for the latest Seagate and Western Digital drives are so poor, I wonder how long my new drive will last. I bought the 3 TB Seagate for $135 on ebay.

And Seagate reduced the warranty on new drives to 1 year. That's a great vote of confidence by a hard drive manufacturer.

Normally, I download all my videos.
If a site is streaming only, I am not interested in becoming a member.
However, sometimes streaming is nice. It lets you view part of a video, to see if the video is worth watching or downloading.
But I don't think I've been a member of a site where the videos started streaming automatically.
And there are some sites that don't have a streaming option.
So streaming is a nice option, to let you view part of a video, or to watch the entire video, if you don't want to download it for some reason (you're running out of hard disk space, etc.).

I saw Captain America: The First Avenger, starring Chris Evans, in a movie theater in 2011. I thought it was one of the best comic book movies I've seen. I later watched it on DVD, and thought it was still great.

But now Captain America has a new job: President of the United States.

Go, Captain America!

Captain America gets new job title: US president
By MATT MOORE | Associated Press – 1 hr 7 mins ago

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Captain America has a new job with perks, a spacious office and a title that others spend millions of dollars to get: Mr. President.

One of Marvel Entertainment's best-known heroes since he socked Adolf Hitler in the jaw in 1941, the sentinel of liberty will trade his New York City apartment for the White House in the pages of Marvel Comics' "The Ultimates," a series set in the Ultimate Comics universe where the U.S. has been torn apart by factionalism, out-of-control anti-mutant hysteria and outright secession.

A career soldier for whom duty trumps political parties, Steve Rogers is seen as the last hope for the country and wins election as a write-in candidate in issue No. 15, due out Wednesday, said Sam Humphries, who is writing the story line.

He called the election the next step in the character's long role as "America's defender," a job he's had since soldiering during World War II.

"Cap is answering the call of the people. This is not the first time he's stood up for an America in crisis. This is a further evolution in his role as America's defender, from soldier to superhero to president," Humphries said. "He didn't ask for this position, but if it helps him reunite America, then he'll take on the job."

Humphries said Captain America is not in any political party and the job, while not something he sought, is something he will do.

"Cap has been elected to do a job, and he's going to do whatever it takes to reunite America. He doesn't see his place as having press conferences in rose gardens, he sees his place as out in the field," Humphries said. "This will result in a unique and thrilling presidency we've never seen before, in history or in fiction."

Rogers will take the oath of office in issue No. 16, due out in October.

I've seen quite a few of her movies, including Lords Of Illusion.

I liked her in City of Industry, a small crime movie with Harvey Keitel. A lot of action.

I liked her in Rounders, where she has a small part. That's a Matt Damon movie about poker playing.

As far as I was concerned, killing off Jean Grey/Phoenix was the biggest mistake.

Famke Janssen, the actress who played Jean Grey, is one hot babe.

Scott was killed off in X-Men Last Stand, as well as Xavier. But due to the laws of Comic heaven, a miracle occurred, and Xavier returned to life.

You don't need to follow consistency or logic in a movie, especially if it's based on a comic book, or science fiction.

In one of the X-Men movies I saw, Cyclops was already dead.
So I guess that the X-Men movies and the X-Men comics have divergent stories.
But that happens, I guess.

50 years after forming X-Men, Professor X dead
Associated Press – 49 mins ago

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Fifty years after Charles Xavier banded his first class of mutants together as the X-Men, the telepath-turned-team builder has been killed by one of them.

The teacher, who trained mutants in Marvel Entertainment's X-Men comics through the years, was felled in the latest issue of "Avengers vs. X-Men" by Scott Summers.

Summers, aka Cyclops, was one of the team's founding members. In the current series, he's been taken over by the Phoenix force and is lashing out.

Marvel editor in chief Axel Alonso says it wasn't writer Brian Michael Bendis' initial intent to kill the character off, but "as the story progressed it became obvious that this had to be the last stand of Charles Xavier."

He says the mortal blow will have ramifications that will reach into new titles coming this fall.

I don't have any download limits from my ISP, but I think the free WiFi idea would be a life-saver for those with a laptop and access to free WiFi. And it's not just churches, but libraries and lot of other places that offer free WiFi.

Your list is great.

Except I wouldn't want to have some cops patting me down, for anything. The motto of a lot of police forces is "To Serve and To Protect." But the only service I've ever gotten from cops are tickets. I try to stay as far away from them as possible.

'Titanic' effects maker files for Chapter 11
Associated Press – 1 hr 49 mins ago

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (AP) — Less than a year after going public, the digital production company founded by director James Cameron has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and agreed to sell the core of its business to a private investment firm for $15 million.

Digital Domain Media Group Inc., best known for its work on Cameron's "Titanic," has produced visual effects for more than 90 movies, including "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" and the "Transformers" series. And in April, its Tupac Shakur hologram made a splash when it took the stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and appeared to perform alongside Snoop Dogg.

But the company was "running out of cash," Chief Restructuring Officer Michael Katzenstein said in court filings, and had violated cash and debt requirements set forth by its lenders. It tried to find additional outside sources of capital, but wasn't able get enough to restructure its debt and pay its operating expenses, he said.

The downward spiral was swift. The company went public just 10 months ago, selling nearly 5 million shares at $8.50 each, below the expected $10 to $12 range. Drifting to the $5 range by spring, the stock then spiked as high as $9.20 following huge reaction to the Shakur hologram, with the performance garnering 15 million YouTube hits within 48 hours and winning a top award at the creative marketing gathering Cannes Lions.

Building on the buzz, Digital Domain got the green light to create an Elvis Presley hologram for shows, film, TV and other projects worldwide, including appearances.

But by August the struggling company said it would review its options, suggesting a possible sale. Shares have fallen as low as 44 cents in recent days.

One of the biggest shareholders in the company is former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino, who is listed in bankruptcy filings as owning 1.6 million shares. From the high to Tuesday's closing price of 55 cents, his holdings have lost $13.6 million in value.

Digital Domain, based in Port St. Lucie, Fla., has studios in California and Canada that create digital visual effects, animation and digital production for the entertainment and advertising industries. The company had spent the past few years building a new animation studio in Port St. Lucie, using millions in incentives from the city and the state.

But it defaulted on a series of loans and just days ago said it would lay off about 280 workers and close its Florida facility. CEO John Textor, also the company's second-largest shareholder, resigned, protesting the decision.

The downfall was so quick the company was still hiring up until last week, said Jack Raisner, a lawyer with New York-based Outten & Golden who is suing the company on behalf of employees, saying they weren't given 60 days' notice of the mass layoff as required by federal law.

"It was inducing people to come from California to the company in the last few weeks," Raisner said. "They were told things to make them believe the company was healthy financially."

Florida Gov. Rick Scott has ordered his inspector general to investigate the process used to award millions in state incentives that were used to lure Digital Domain to the state.

The company said last month in its quarterly earnings report that it had already received about $50 million of $80 million in grants it was awarded by the state of Florida, and that it had spent the money on workers' pay and to cover expansion costs.

Digital Domain filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, along with a Canadian court. Day-to-day operations of Digital Domain's remaining business won't be affected by the Chapter 11 filing, the company said. Debt holders have agreed to provide up to $20 million in financing that will fund its activities while it restructures.

As of June 30, the company had total assets of about $205 million and total liabilities of about $214 million.

The sale agreement with Searchlight Capital Partners LP includes the company's operating subsidiaries in the U.S. and Canada. It remains subject to an auction process where the company can consider other higher offers, and must be approved by the court.

I am not sure exactly what claymation is.

When Coraline was released, they were saying it was stop motion animation. They film puppets, and move them a little bit at a time. Dakota Fanning worked on the movie about 5 years. I don't how a child could work on a cartoon starting about 10 years old, until she was about 14 years old. Because her voice is the character, and I would have thought her voice would change over the years.

Anyway, I remember one of the actors in the film saying that they produced maybe 3 or 4 seconds of film in a really good day, which is why it took about 5 years to make the cartoon. Edited on Aug 23, 2012, 08:44pm

Chris Butler, the co-director and writer of ParaNorman, also worked on Coraline.

Coraline was based on a book by Neil Gaiman.

Coraline is a modern-day cartoon, mixing fantasy, weirdness, plot and a bunch of other elements. I thought it could have come from Tim Burton, the movie just seems to have his special brand of weird.

I might see ParaNorman.

I saw Coraline a few years back. Enjoyed it, and even bought the DVD.

But my tastes are not representative of the mainstream. A lot of blockbusters leave me cold, and how I like a movie has no relation to its commercial success.

Sounds like you need a break from porn. I think it happens to most of us as we get older. The thrill is gone, babe. But it usually comes creeping back.

Life can still be good. Just not as intense as when we were teenagers.

Sad day for the movies. Tony Scott is dead.

================
================

August 19, 2012

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Tony Scott, director of such Hollywood blockbusters as "Top Gun," ''Days of Thunder" and "Beverly Hills Cop II," died Sunday after jumping from a Los Angeles County bridge, authorities said.

The 68-year-old Scott's death was being investigated as a suicide, Los Angeles County Coroner's Lt. Joe Bale said.

Several people called 911 around 12:35 p.m. to report that someone had jumped from the Vincent Thomas Bridge spanning San Pedro and Terminal Island in Los Angeles Harbor, according to Los Angeles police Lt. Tim Nordquist.

A dive team with Los Angeles Port Police pulled the body from the murky water several hours later, Nordquist said. Scott's body was taken to a dock in Wilmington and turned over to the county coroner's office.

One lane of the eastbound side of the bridge was closed to traffic during the investigation. Cargo vessels moved at reduced speeds through the east side of the port's main channel during the search, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.

Investigators found a note in Scott's black Toyota Prius, which was parked on the bridge, according to the Los Angeles Times. That note listed contact information. A suicide note was later found at his office.

The British-born Scott, who lived in Beverly Hills, was producer and director Ridley Scott's brother.

The two brothers ran Scott Free Productions and were working jointly on a film called "Killing Lincoln," based on the best seller by Bill O'Reilly. Their company produced the CBS dramas "NUMB3RS" and "The Good Wife" as well as a 2011 documentary about the Battle of Gettysburg for the History Channel. Ridley Scott's "Prometheus" was a summer blockbuster.

"Top Gun," starring Tom Cruise, was one of the highest-grossing films of 1986. Scott teamed with Cruise again four years later on the hit "Days of Thunder."

Scott frequently worked with Denzel Washington, most recently on the runaway train drama "Unstoppable." The pair collaborated on four other films: "Crimson Tide," ''Man on Fire," Deja Vu," and "The Taking of Pelham 123."

In a tweet Sunday, director Ron Howard said, "No more Tony Scott movies. Tragic day."

Other Scott films include "True Romance," written by Quentin Tarantino, "The Fan," with Robert De Niro, and "Enemy of the State," starring Will Smith.

Scott was married to actress Donna Scott, who appeared in several of her husband's films. They have twin sons.

Completed in 1963, the 6,060-foot Vincent Thomas Bridge links rises 185 feet at its highest point above the Los Angeles Harbor. Many have taken their lives by jumping from the span.

Many years ago Metart used to offer hours of free live cam shows every day. They were very popular with the members. They were moderated by someone working for Metart, and if anyone broke the rules, they were banned from participating.

The members had to show respect to the models. No exceptions.

The shows were often the best I've ever seen, for free.

The models were often friendly, and had a real rapport with the audience.

Unfortunately, those shows were discontinued years ago.

Japanese porn has a niche where two girls are kissing. It lasts much longer than US or European girl kissing, and is much hotter and more erotic, as well.

The 1970s and 1980s were both great decades for softcore and hardcore. That's when Playboy and Penthouse were at their peak. And hardcore films had some plot, along with the nudity and sex.

I liked her better before.

I don't mind small breasts. And Jessie is a cute girl.

Her current breasts seem over-sized.

But some guys go for large breasts.

I use Firefox and Win7 and Adobe Flash Player crashes sometimes. No big thing, as far as I can tell. I just close that window, and open a new instance of Firefox and paste the URL into the browser address bar.

Doug Liman was the director of the first Bourne movie:
The Bourne Identity

But Paul Greengrass was the director of Bourne Parts 2 and 3:
The Bourne Supremacy
The Bourne Ultimatum

Paul Greengrass is famous for his shaky camera, that makes me wonder if he's sometimes drunk when he watches his films.

I like films where I can follow the action, instead of the herky-jerky movements that has become popular today.

Edit: I posted this, before I read messmer's reply.

In the trailer for the upcoming The Bourne Legacy, they show, apart from the explosions and shootouts, a chase scene where the hero is riding a motorcycle without a helmet.

Don't they realize that's illegal in California?

I agree 100%.

But I still prefer the stunt cock cumming inside the girl at the finish, instead of jerking himself off.

The avatar is handsome, in a scary kind of way.

Comic-Con 2012: Marvel announces four new films at panel

By Eric Pfeiffer | Movie Talk – 13 hours ago

In a surprise move that wowed the fans in attendance, Marvel Studios officially announced four new films in development during their Saturday panel at Comic Con.

Producer Kevin Feige formally set the titles and release dates for sequels "Thor: The Dark World," (November 8, 2013) and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," debuting on April 4, 2014. In addition, Feige announced that brothers Anthony and Joe Russo will helm the "Captain America" sequel.

Marvel also confirmed speculation that they are developing the cosmic superhero franchise "Guardians of the Galaxy," which is scheduled for release on August 1, 2014.

But the announcement that received the biggest reaction from the crowd was test footage of the forthcoming "Ant Man" from director Edgar Wright ("Shaun of the Dead").

"I've always thought there was a great film to make out of that," Wright told the cheering crowd. "And one that would look better on the screen than in the page."

During the clip of test footage, the film's hero who, can change his size at will, is hiding inside a tiny air duct while two security guards stand in a long hallway.

Ant Man, no more than a few inches in stature, then launches an attack on the guards, morphing into full human size to deliver a punishing kick before shrinking in an instant to literally ride on top of one of the guard's guns.

Even in rough cut form, the footage wowed the audience and seemed to quiet speculation as to whether the character could succeed on the big screen.

"Ant Man will kick your ass one inch at a time," Wright quipped.

The lead character, played by Chloe, is a transsexual, or a man who has had breast implants, but still has a penis. And dresses and thinks of himself as a women, even though he was born in a male body.

That's just part of who the character is.

I live in the US, and only the first episode has been shown. But the transsexual factor is an important part of Chloe's character, just as it would be in the life of any real transsexual.

She is also a hit woman. That's how she makes her money.

I thought the first episode was well written, with good acting, a lot of interesting ideas. I just hope the rest of the series can maintain the quality and interest I found in the first episode.

The series is on cable TV.

So you saw the entire first season already?

In the US, they showed the first episode of season 1 last night. And that was its debut in the US.

Have they made an announcement that the series was renewed, and that there will be a second season?

In the US, most series end or are cancelled in the first season, and a lot of series don't even get a full season 1 run of episodes.

HeatherMcXxx, over half the boy-girl porn videos I've seen the guy has a flaccid penis at some point. And to make it stiff, instead of rubbing it against the girl's body, the usual technique is to use his fist. That's one porn convention that detracts from the heat of the scene, at least for me.

But for some reason, I guess the guy gets greater stimulation from rubbing his own penis instead of having the girl do it for him, or having it inserted in the girl.

The typical money shot is the guy jerking himself off and then shooting onto the girl. Which I think is waste of cum. Shoot it into the girl, not on her.

I guess actors (and actresses) are supposed to do all kinds of weird or potentially embarrassing acts.

The scene where the fake penis is actually displayed is very brief, over in three seconds or less. The scene was not pornographic. Completely different from watching a shemale porn video.

But thanks for the link and the information on Chloe.

I saw the debut episode yesterday, and it was really interesting. I hope the succeeding episodes are just as enjoyable, and that the series does well in the ratings.

The series star is Chloë Sevigny, and the series is set in the UK.

It seems simpler to use a credit card instead of a bank account.

In the United States, if there is a charge on a bank account, and there is not enough money in the account, the customer will be charged an extra fee for insufficient funds. And the customer will have to pay the extra fee, or it will be turned over to a debt collection agency, and you will then have problems with your credit rating.

Eating is probably more important than porn. And bill paying, while not much fun, can be important, too.

So hang in there, buddy.

I don't have a clear understanding of the business of porn. Where the profits (and expenses) come from.

But from what I've read at the PU site, it seems very few of the members who post buy very little of their porn via DVDs. Instead, they get their porn from the internet, via pay sites.

I would guess that most people get their porn from the internet, through free or pay sites. The internet is so much cheaper than DVDs, as well as being more convenient and offering greater diversity of content.

I assume DVDs are not going away anytime soon. The cloud is supposed to store more content as time goes on. So DVDs as movies are less important than streaming or downloads.

But my understanding is that Win8 will not play movies on DVDs without an upgrade or additional software. But Win8 will play DVDs as data files. I assume that DVDs will still be used for data storage. Edited on Jun 29, 2012, 01:50pm
