I saw Resident Evil Part 4 with Milla Jovovich today on DVD. I like Jovovich, think she's a great-looking woman, who can play a female action hero as well as anyone (except maybe Angelina Jolie). I really liked the Resident Evil series Parts 1 through 3. But this last one, Part 4, seems to be a little tired. There's plenty of action, but the story-line, not a strong point to any of the series movies, is really weak here.

I just didn't enjoy the movie as much as the earlier entries.

This movie is in 3D. I saw the movie in 2D, on a DVD. So maybe that took away from enjoying the movie. While the movie was playing on my computer monitor, I was thinking how some of the fight scenes seemed to be crafted for a 3D movie, where the blows, weapons, blood, etc. would have been coming straight at me.

I didn't see the movie in the theater, because it was a 3D movie, and that adds around $3 to the ticket price. And tickets are too high to start with, even before any extra charges like 3D or "stadium seating" (the theater says you get a larger screen at the theater, and you are charged extra for the larger screen. Which seems to be a total rip-off, because I can't see any difference in the size of the screen for the "stadium seating".

But I don't go to 3D movies, because of the higher ticket price. Plus, it's uncomfortable for me to watch a 3D movie. The special 3D glasses give me eye strain.

But I was slightly disappointed with Resident Evil Part 4. Milla Jovovich is still gorgeous, but the fight scenes seem to be repeats of what happened in earlier movies of the series. And the story-line is getting to be repetitious.

PP, thanks for the update on the Jason Bourne movies. I liked the first one the best, did not like the second and third movies using more of the herky-jerky handheld camera style that is currently popular.

Give me a movie where I can see clearly (and understand) the physical action that is taking place on the screen.

I just got 3 separate emails for a Penis Enlarger, with a special Holiday Discount.

Quick, before I delete these emails, does anyone want me to forward one of these special offers to their private email box?

The truth is, I would rather not be getting these special offers for all kinds of porn and porn-related items.

I assume my email address was put into the spammers' address books because I signed up to some porn sites in the past.

I'm waiting to see Tron Legacy on DVD. $13 seems a very steep price to pay. And watching 3D movies causes eye strain for me.

I will probably see True Grit in the movies, however. I like Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon, and the reviews I've seen are very positive for True Grit.

What surprises me is that Matt Damon hasn't made another Bourne movie in several years. The Bourne movies were big money-makers. And I believe Damon has passed up on the chance to get large paychecks by not making more Bourne movies. I guess he is trying to make different kinds of movies in addition to the straight action-adventure-spy movie. But very few actors would have passed on such large paychecks for such popular movies.

Not that Damon is going broke. I assume he has been well paid for the movies he did make. Edited on Dec 23, 2010, 12:07pm

As a kid growing up, The Lone Ranger was one of the shows I used to watch on TV.

Reading this article, I now realize how gullible I used to be as a child (and still am, I suppose).

Quote:
Foy landed the job on The Long Ranger in 1948, leading in every show with: "A fiery horse with the speed of light, a cloud of dust and a hearty 'Hi-Yo Silver!' ... The Lone Ranger!"

The Lone Ranger was a western series. But he had "a fiery horse with the speed of light"? A horse with the speed of light, that could not be realized by any physical object except light? Of course, I didn't study physics until high school, so I didn't realize a horse with the speed of light was impossible. I just thought it meant he had a fast horse.

And what about the "fiery" horse?

I guess it just meant the horse was exciting somehow. At least, that's how I understood it then. Today, thinking about it, I'm not sure what a fiery horse is supposed to be like or do. Except be exciting somehow. And add to the Lone Ranger's glamor and excitement.

Fred Foy, Famed Lone Ranger Announcer, Dies at 89
TV Guide - 2 hours, 56 minutes ago

Fred Foy, an announcer best known for his work on The Long Ranger radio and TV series, died Wednesday, according to The Associated Press. He was 89.

Foy died of natural causes at his home in Woburn, Mass., his daughter told the news agency.

See other celebrities we lost this year

A Detroit native, Foy began his radio career in 1942 before he was drafted into Army later that year. He served in the Armed Forces Radio unit during World War II.

Foy landed the job on The Long Ranger in 1948, leading in every show with: "A fiery horse with the speed of light, a cloud of dust and a hearty 'Hi-Yo Silver!' ... The Lone Ranger!"

Radio historian Jim Harmon called Foy "perhaps the greatest announcer-narrator in the history of radio drama." In his book, Radio Mystery and Adventure and Its Appearances in Film, Television and Other Media, Harmon said Foy "pronounced words like no one else ever had — 'SIL-ver,' 'hiss-TOR-ee.' But hearing him, you realized everyone else had been wrong."

Foy also performed on radio series such as The Green Hornet, and later worked for ABC as the announcer on The Dick Cavett Show and narrating documentaries.

Foy is survived by his wife of 63 years, Francis, their three children and three grandchildren.

When did graymane disable his account?
His name is currently listed as "Active User", so unless it was a very brief disablement, I doubt he really did disable his account.

But I am willing to bite the bullet for both messmer and graymane, and accept the transfer of their 2010 PU FORUM AWARDS into my account.

I don't know how much that will help graymane and messmer. But the offer stands.

I honestly do not see any malice or bad intentions behind the awards or the thread. I see the awards as an expression of humor and wit. And it's unfortunate that some members believe the awards are some kind of personal attack.

RB, is that what your avatar is doing, holding up four fingers (two for each hand) in a sign of hope?

I always thought you were holding up two Fuck You fingers, one for each hand.

But if you are really holding up two fingers in each hand for a sign of hope, then you are a benison to the world, spreading a message of love and peace.

God bless you, RB.

Does PU attract ADD members?

Or is it that PU membership turns people into ADDs?

Seems like we're having a rash of members running for the exit, the last few days.

Has something happened that I should know about?

I know why you are confused that messmer had a different reaction to this year's PU forum awards. Obviously, you haven't seen or have forgotten the movie, "Invasion of the Body Snatchers".

messmer fell asleep once too often, and he was replaced by one of the alien pod people. The new messmer looks like the old messmer, but the new messmer thinks completely differently.

I'm sorry that messmer disabled his account, because I think he was a major contributor to not just the site reviews, but also to the forum threads. I hope he will return.

But in my heart of hearts, there will remain a tiny niggle of doubt that the new messmer is not 100% the old messmer, but an alien copy.

Would the body scans at the airports be able to unmask this alien creature?

Or will the new messmer avoid airports, and communicate with the PU community strictly by emails?

The female star of True Grit just turned 14. True Grit is her first major movie role. And she already talks like a true Hollywood professional, with the Hollywood bullshit down pat.

They must give lessons to these kids in how to speak in interviews, because they almost all sound alike in the way they talk. But you have to admire and respect how kids can learn the talk so young, and do it so well.

"Don't get me wrong. I don't take this too seriously. I have fun with it," Steinfeld said. "My parents always tell me, 'If you're not having fun, you're not in the right place.' And there's not a moment in this, in everything, that I'm not having fun."

She just finished True Grit, which was supposed to be a physically demanding movie, a lot of physical action, unpleasant physical activity, etc. And every moment of it was great fun?

Bullshit.

Teen star Steinfeld shows new `Grit' in debut role (AP)
Source: AP 2 hours, 26 minutes ago

LOS ANGELES - John Wayne's original "True Grit" was a vehicle for a worldly wise actor in his 60s in another gruff Old West role he long since had perfected.

The new take on "True Grit" is a star-making showcase for Hailee Steinfeld in her screen debut as Mattie Ross, the 14-year-old who sets the violent story of retribution in motion.

Wayne's main trail buddy was Kim Darby, who was in her early 20s when she played Mattie in 1969's "True Grit," based on Charles Portis' novel. Joel and Ethan Coen's version, opening Wednesday, more faithfully adapts Portis' story, with Steinfeld's Mattie pulling a team of veteran actors in her wake, including Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon, Josh Brolin and Barry Pepper.

Steinfeld, who just turned 14, earned a supporting-actress nomination for the Screen Actors Guild Awards for "True Grit," and she has buzz for the same honor at the Academy Awards.

Is she practicing her Oscar speech?

"No-o-o-o, not yet. I mean, honestly, just to be a part of it, that's the biggest award I could get right now," she said in an interview.

"It is so surreal. Recently, when I saw the film for the first time, just as the credits started rolling, I thought back immediately to the day I was sitting on the floor in my bedroom just waiting for the phone to ring, thinking to myself ... whoever gets this job, it's like winning the lottery. And now I see this film put together, and it's just so incredible. I'm so proud of it."

Her character is a force of nature, a 19th-century pioneer teen with a fierce puritanical streak who hires ornery lawman Rooster Cogburn (Bridges) to hunt down her father's murderer (Brolin), with Damon a preening Texas Ranger joining the search.

The flowery rhythms of Portis' dialogue, delivered with almost Shakespearean flourish, were tough enough for the seasoned actors, let alone a newcomer who had acted only in student films, commercials and a couple of small TV roles.

Casting directors traveled the country for months, looking at thousands of girls, and the Coens met with a handful of the best.

"They're all 14-year-old girls, and predictably, they're all terrible. Not all, but 99-point-whatever percent," Ethan Coen said.

Mattie was an especially hard role, requiring an inexperienced actress to convey her "very adult, very self-possessed, very stiff-necked Protestant sensibility," Ethan Coen said. "You think, boy, that whole adult self-possession and the acting chops, maybe that doesn't exist in a real 14-year-old girl."

A few weeks before shooting started, they found Steinfeld, who lived in Los Angeles. The Coens auditioned her opposite Bridges and Pepper, who plays another outlaw Mattie encounters.

Just as Mattie was fully formed at 14, they found Steinfeld had maturity and instincts beyond her years.

"She's totally unintimidated coming into this room with Jeff Bridges and Barry Pepper and doing these scenes," Joel Coen said. "It's not a question of experience or training or any of the rest of it. Either you've got it or you don't, sort of genetically, naturally, whatever it happens to be."

Bridges spends almost the entire movie in Steinfeld's company, but any worries he had about his young co-star quickly vanished.

"I was concerned right up to the first day we shot a big dialogue scene, and then I saw how invested she was in the character, how much talent and skill she had as an actress," Bridges said. "I was so thrilled and relieved."

Brolin, whose breakout role came in the Coens' "No Country for Old Men," said his own daughter auditioned to play Mattie. But there were no hard feelings when she got a look at who had won the role.

"I remember when my daughter came on the set and met Hailee, and she goes, `Oh my God! She's perfect!'" Brolin said.

Steinfeld decided at age 8 she wanted to try acting, inspired by a cousin who was doing commercials and a friend who was in a stage play. She raised the idea with her father, a personal fitness trainer, and mother, an interior designer. Her parents insisted that she study acting for a full year to make sure she was serious.

Then she got an agent and started trying out for roles. Like many actors, child or adult, she spent years auditioning with little to show for it.

"The most frustrating part was, I would get very close to booking things, and the biggest thing that was held against me was I was always too green," Steinfeld said. "I would be up against girls who had been acting since they could speak.

"That was frustrating, because I was thinking to myself, 'I must not be that bad if I'm getting that close, but I'm not getting it.' So I hit that point where I definitely became a little bit more serious about it. ... And then, after that, things started to change."

Once Steinfeld landed the "True Grit" role, the Coens treated her the same way they did the rest of the cast, making no note of her precocious talent, Damon said.

"It was almost like, don't talk about the fact that this person next to you is levitating. Don't make a big deal out of it. We're not even going to acknowledge that it's happening. Then at the end, you go ..., `That girl was flying!'" Damon said.

Pepper marveled at Steinfeld's stamina as they shot in the cold mountains near Santa Fe, N.M., "and she's being dragged through rivers, and she's got my cold leather boot on her neck, and she's getting tossed around and shot at. I just thought, 'This is remarkable, the poise and the professionalism of this young woman.' She's just off to the races. She showed true grit in a lot of different ways, because she took everything the brothers threw at her," Pepper said.

Steinfeld is looking for her next film role. The acclaim she's earning for "True Grit" should help, but she's not fretting too much about where her career is headed.

"Don't get me wrong. I don't take this too seriously. I have fun with it," Steinfeld said. "My parents always tell me, 'If you're not having fun, you're not in the right place.' And there's not a moment in this, in everything, that I'm not having fun."

There were two Coen brothers movies that I really enjoyed:
No Country for Old Men
Miller's Crossing

The rest of their movies were ok or boring.
I had a hard time understanding why there was so much fuss about Fargo. I still don't understand, other than thinking that people see/understand/view/appreciate a picture in many different ways that I do not.

I might see True Grit, because I like Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon. I'm thinking Clint Eastwood could have taken the Jeff Bridges part. I haven't seen the movie, but it seems like Bridges has played a similar role at least several times in the past. But I've been a fan of Bridges since the early 1970s.

I'd go along with pat362 in saying PU could give Wittyguy a special award of 10 tickets for the raffle for his PU FORUM AWARDS thread.

The thought, time, and wit that created the thread deserve special recognition. And it really adds flavor to the PU site, much more so than even a really great review of some porn site.

I believe the tech support (or whatever they are called) are often trained or encouraged to take the position that any charges posted to the customer's account are valid, and should not be reversed.

Separately, even large, well-known businesses are using third party processors to try to sell to their customers. I've had many telephone calls from people who say they are associated with my bank or with my telephone company, trying to sell me different products. And some of these people, who are not working for my bank or telephone company, can be rude or aggressive when trying to sell.

I think we've gone beyond the idea of the purpose of reps is to help the customer. Instead, the idea seems to be, the purpose of reps is to handle the customer, for the company's benefit.

I don't have any statistics, but my general impression is that site prices have not gone up in recent years. They are one of the few things that have not.

But I am using PU to look at site prices before joining, and with PU, you often get a nice discount from the regular site price.

The price of most items, as I said, definitely creeps upwards over the years. Utility bills (gas, water, trash collection, telephone, etc.) keeps rising. Grocery prices rise. Newspaper, etc., etc.

One of the few things that drop in prices are computers, and add-ons for computers (hard drives, monitors, etc.).

Someone like Khan, who is in the adult business, might have an idea of the businesses CCBILL deals with.

I think you came up with a great intro line for attractive younger woman: "Miss (or Ma'am, if you want to try the formal approach), I do anal quite well. Would you care for a demonstration?"

The thinking is probably that the fastest way to get rid of AIDs is for everyone who has it to die off.

That reminds me that when AIDS was first getting national attention back in the 1980s, some of the religious groups said that God created AIDS to punish people for their sins.

My understanding is that the porn industry clinic refused to turn over information on patients to officials from the state (and county?) on patients, claiming the information was confidential. So it appears the state (and county) are getting back at the clinic by denying the clinic a license to operate.

The state (and county) says "former patients at the clinic are welcome to seek care at county clinics", "where people can feel safe -- the privacy and confidentiality are maintained.” But the officials who say the privacy and confidentiality are maintained are the same ones who were requesting information on the patients being treated at the porn industry clinic, and were refused that information.

How likely are the county hospitals to refuse giving confidential information to state and county officals, who are funding those hospitals and clinics?

If you fast-forwarded through the fight scenes of The Dark Knight, you missed the action. I saw the movie in the theater, and couldn't clearly see what was happening in some of the fight scenes because the lighting was dark, and the camera jumped around too much. I saw the movie again on DVD, and I still couldn't clearly follow the action for the same reasons I had a hard time seeing it in a theater.

I understand the darkness is supposed to be atmospheric, and the jerky camera-work is supposed to add excitement, but I would rather be able to see clearly what is supposed to be happening on the screen.

But the jerky camera-work is the current fad for action movies, because it adds so much to the excitement of the moment. What it does for me is leave me confused and unhappy.

My laptop monitor sometimes melts while I am watching Japanese porn. The monitor develops squiggly lines that blur the good parts (the stunt cock, the model's vagina, etc.). Should I throw my laptop into the refrigerator, to cool things down?

How am I supposed to watch these Japanese videos, when the good parts are getting blurred?

Japan has some of the most lovely models in the world. But how can I watch them if the mosaic screen of CRAP suddenly appears?

I have fallen in love again. Saori Hara is one of the most beautiful girls alive. She is a vision of beauty, natural shyness, with a fucking hot body and an adorable face. Maria Ozawa used to be my number one Japanese model, but she has now been replaced by Saori Hara. The queen is dead. Long live the queen!

Saori Hara is so modest, that when she takes a shower, she wears a bikini. You couldn't ask for a sweeter girl. There'a a video of her taking a shower on YouTube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AG9qhGoGorU

Edit01: What does CRAP stand for? Some of the more intelligent PU members might have a clue.

Edit02: One of the amazing things about Saori Hara, besides her fantastic beauty, is that she is able to remain a virgin in spite of the numerous young punks that are poking and licking and slobbering all over her body.

They grow them different in Japan, where the purity of mind shines through and keeps these fresh young girls so adorable and clean and yummy.

Helen Mirren reveals the gay truth about Hollywood:
The Hollywood Reporter's Power 100 Women in Entertainment breakfast is an annual event that brings together some of the entertainment industry's most powerful female executives and shot-callers.
The event was held today, Tuesday, December 07, 2010.
Helen Mirren received the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award.

Hollywood "continues to worship at the altar of the 18- to 25-year-old male, and his penis," she said.

She did not say how many bjs she has given, or reveal the bj secrets of her fellow actors. But it takes courage to tell the general public the inside story of how Hollywood really operates.

Defrag programs are supposed to maintain the health/efficiency of your hard drives. They are not supposed to make the hard drive contents disappear.

So the problem of your missing F drive contents was caused by something else.

Do not reformat your F drive. If you do, you will definitely erase any files that might have been on it before the reformat. (I'm talking in general terms, because computer forensic experts are supposed to be able to find files even after a reformat.)

Maybe some computer guru here can suggest what are possible reasons your F drive is giving you problems. It could be something as simple as hard drive failure, or a loose wire or something similar. A virus or malware seems unlikely, because most malware is used to gain some advantage for the hacker beyond simple erasure of computer files on the target PC.

If you can't get any useful hints here, maybe you can try some PC sites that offer general help on PC problems. There are some good sites for this kind of help, but it's been years since I personally followed any of them. So I can't suggest any sites that might be really helpful.

I don't know about the full moon influence.

But over time, as the years go by, my attitudes have changed. I don't like abuse (slapping, choking, spitting, name-calling, etc.). If I see it in a clip, I turn the clip off and watch something else. But my emotional response is far more muted than it was years ago.

I guess that is being de-sensitized. Because I see and know that there is a lot of abusive acting/behavior in porn. I don't enjoy it, I don't like it, but there are plenty of people who do, or it wouldn't be so common.

On the other hand, my tastes have changed over time. My prime interest is in softcore teen photography. There is plenty of that on the internet that is of high quality.

Finding hardcore videos that I like is much harder. There are many more factors in creating a film than a photoset.

There are some porn niches that I once thought outrageous, or perverted. And the idea of those niches now seems more enticing. But I don't even want to get into that, because I think our fantasies, if they get too fucked up, can fuck us up as well.

Thanks for the hint on using DOS in Win7, Khan.

Per your suggestion, I tried using tracert without redirection, and the tracert output was printed on my DOS screen.

tracert pornusers.com >c:\test999.txt
This gives me the: Access is denied message.

tracert pornusers.com > c:\users\owner\test999.txt
This redirects the output of the tracert command to the test999.txt file.

So for some reason, I can't redirect the output to a file that is on the root of the C: drive, but I can redirect the output to a file that is on a subdirectory of the C: drive.

My guess would be that my firewall is not blocking the tracert command, because the tracert command does work when I do not redirect it, and it also works when I redirect it to a text file that is in a subdirectory of the C: drive.

The tracert is blocked only when I redirect it to write to a text file that is directly on the root of the C: drive.

I'm not having any downloading problem from a paysite, but I was curious to see how the DOS command works.

I have Windows 7.

I entered at the DOS command prompt:
tracert {domain-name} >c:\{filename.txt}

substituting the PU domain name, and the message I get after hitting the Enter key is:

Access is denied.

Does that DOS command still work for the DOS supplied with Windows 7?

If the DOS command does work for Windows 7, would you kindly type out a sample command that will work, using the tracert command?

I use DOS very infrequently, just curious to see what can be done with it. The advances in Windows, beyond DOS, make the computer so much easier to use.

Fine by me, graymane. I realize, sadly, that not everyone appreciates my attempts at humor.

The truth is, I'm my own best audience. Edited on Dec 02, 2010, 11:28am

My personal opinion is that guys that are in their 70s and older have had their day in the sun. Now it's time to let us younger guys take over. Move over, gramps, before you fall over. +

messmer, did you just have a bunch of birthdays without inviting any of your PU buddies? I see that your PU profile now shows your age as 74, which is entering gray beard territory.

What is this talk about your having lesbian tendencies? Are you going to have one of those sex-change operations without first discussing it with your good friends at PU?

RB, have you been getting spam from AmateurMatch?

I did a partial signup at Porn Pros Network (I entered my email address at that site, but did not complete my application). But ever since, I've gotten a large increase in the amount of spam I'm getting. And I was signed up and getting emails from AmateurMatch, even though I have never visited that site or signed any membership application with them.

If you are also getting email spam from AmateurMatch (as shown in the heading of some of the spam you are getting), that would be final evidence that Porn Pros Network is the source of a lot of the spam I am getting.

So I would like to know if you are getting spam from AmateurMatch. Just to give me further confirmation that the Porn Pros Network site is a source of spam.

Thanks in advance for your response.

(I did a partial signup at Porn Pros because of a positive comment you posted at PU. But then I decided not to join Porn Pros, after I had partially filled out a membership application where I entered my email address and user name, but no further information.)

The user name for my AmateurMatch account is almost the same as the user name I entered on my partial Porn Pros application, which is why I think Porn Pros is the source of at least some of the increased spam I am getting. Edited on Nov 29, 2010, 11:30pm

pat, I admire your integrity. And since you don't need a stinking badge, I will be glad to take it off your hands. Please send a note to Khan, authorizing the transfer of said badge to lk2fireone. You don't even have to pay me for my generosity, although a small donation would be helpful.

pat362, congratulations on your hardcore badge (for reaching 100 points). Be careful when you flash that badge at people, because then your secret hardcore powers will be revealed.

As Charlie Sheen is well aware from experience, it pays to be careful when you're around prostitutes and porn stars. Especially when you are a Hollywood star who gets paid millions per year and with a reputation to protect.

Charlie Sheen Sues Porn Star for Extortion in Hotel Debacle
Us Magazine - 21 minutes ago

Charlie Sheen is going back to court.

On Monday, an attorney for Sheen, 45, filed a lawsuit against porn star Capri Anderson, claiming that she tried to extort him for $1 million, TMZ reports.

Anderson, whose real name is Christina Walsh, was Sheen's companion in the Plaza Hotel suite the night of Oct. 17 -- when the Two and a Half men star reportedly went on a drunken, naked rant and caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to the suite.

PHOTOS: Charlie Sheen's craziest controversies

Sheen's suit claims that Anderson demanded "at least one million dollars" in exchange for keeping quiet about the incident; she threatened to go to prosecutors and have Sheen's probation (related to his Christmas Day scuffle with wife Brooke Mueller) revoked.

In interviews with Nightline and Good Morning America, Anderson has claimed that Sheen put his hands around her throat and threw things at her during his tirade.

Counters Sheen's lawyer: "At no time did Sheen assault, batter or threaten Walsh."

Anderson allegedly tried "to embarrass him and attempt to damage his career by going to the media with her false tale," the suit charges, calling her "an opportunistic pornographic film star and publicity hungry scam-artist."

Anderson is also accused of stealing Sheen's $165,000 Patek Phillippe watch during the melee.

Sheen is asking for unspecified damages.

graymane, have you been reading Mark Twain, and that put you in the mood of crafting your own tall tale?

The "fact" that the police spokesperson said, "We're trying to keep a lid on this thing, so please don't let it go any further", sounds like something Twain would have written.

I guess I was slow to catch on, but it sure seems like you might be pulling our leg on this story.

And I fell for it, like I usually do.

Mobsters like Graymane are often spare in the details they give out. It's part of the code of Omerta. Either they're hazy, or they stand on the Fifth.

But as members of the PU inner circle, we've also sworn to a code of strict behavior.

So it wouldn't be wrong for Graymane to share a few of his secrets with us buddies.

The autobiography, "Graymane, Secrets of a Mafia Enforcer", will be hitting bookstores this Christmas.

Watch for the upcoming motion picture, starring Chistian Bale as "Graymane the Ruthless", and see why Graymane was more to be feared than the Terminator!

graymane1777, are the rumors true that your cousin is mob-connected? I mean, if he's really in the mafia, he could have been involved in the porn hijacking, even if he wasn't at the scene of the crime when it took place.

Maybe the porno stash was hijacked because the victim was slow in making payments for that porn?

Jeepers, if your cousin is mob-connected, does that mean you were on the wrong side of the law? In your earlier days, of course.

But once in, you're never out. How far up did you get as a mafioso? Soldier. Underboss. What?

This is exciting. Finally we can hear the real dirt from a true mafioso!

Should we be calling you Don graymane1777, or what?

The hot link is to a youtube video. The video would be rated PG, or family friendly.

Cleanliness is next to Godliness, is a phrase I heard while growing up.

So if you want to get right with God, you should be watching the video I linked to, and paying strict attention.

You don't want to be sent down below, because you had dirty balls. Do you?

A message of vital importance for all PU members.

When was the last time your balls felt clean?

With the AXE detailer, you can get relief, even if your balls are really filthy.

Caution: Use the soft side of the detailer for balls that are tender or blue.

(Allow the first youtube video to run completely, and a second video will play, showing how men of all ages can benefit from this wonderful invention. As the lovely ladies state: girls can play with clean balls all the day long!) Edited on Nov 21, 2010, 10:39am

My apologies, graymane1777. You started this thread by posing all sorts of questions about what we PU members would think if this had happened to one of us. But I'm taking my thinking cap right off, because you're not going to be supplying us with the real answers.

How did the thief know there was a porn stash?
How did the thief know where the porn stash was located?
How did the thief take the porn stash? Did he just pick up the guy's computer and drive away? Or was the stash on external hard drives, or DVDs, or CDs, or what?

4 TB. That is a huge stash. The easiest way to store that much data would be on external hard drives, but for a collection that large, it would take years to collect, so a good part of the collection might have been on CDs or DVDs.

But like I said, how did the thief know where the stash was located?

Is the thief someone who knows the victim? Or did the victim talk about his stash to acquaintances?

A lot of questions to think about.

But I doubt the police will give this theft a high priority on their casework. They are probably laughing about the guy who got ripped off.

The Dutch parliament approved plans to raise the sales tax from 6 to 19 percent on tickets for theaters, cinemas, rock concerts, and other cultural events.

When times are tough, we all have to learn to suffer together. But it's strange how the people with less money are the ones to suffer the most. The rich have more disposable income. The middle class and poor have less disposable income, and raising the price of tickets means it's harder for them to save the money to attend those events.

Artists stage nationwide protests against cuts (AP)
Source: AP 32 minutes ago

THE HAGUE, Netherlands - Singers, painters and television presenters were demonstrating across the Netherlands on Saturday against the government's plans to slash funding and subsidies for the arts as part of an (EURO)18 billion ($25 billion) austerity package.

Thousands of members of the public also were attending events around the country, and organizers called for protesters to scream together to express their anger at the changes.

On Thursday the Dutch parliament approved plans to raise sales tax from six percent to 19 percent on tickets to theaters, cinemas, rock concerts and other cultural events.

The new right-wing administration also has pledged to cut funding for the arts by (EURO)200 million ($274 million) in the coming five years.

In Amsterdam, musicians, presenters and comedians were gathering Saturday afternoon at a central square to listen to music and protest statements against the proposed cuts.

In The Hague, members of the public were planning a late-night gathering after theaters and cinemas close to listen to a trumpeter from a local orchestra play The Last Post and hold a minute's silence.

Organizers said in a manifesto published online that the cuts have been justified in parliament by lawmakers who say the arts are only for a wealthy elite.

"But a 13 percent rise in sales tax hits all of the public because tickets get more expensive," organizers said. "By cutting culture budgets and raising tax on tickets culture will become an elitist pastime and less accessible for people with less money."

WeeWillyWinky, I'm sorry to see you go. I hope you will still drop by once in a while, even if it's just to post a "Hi, I'm still alive and kicking" message.

There's a lot that's wrong with porn, but I agree with monty2222, who said it very well: not all porn producers are the same. "Vote with your wallop and support the companies who produce what you like and leave the rest alone."

But if porn in general disgusts you, then it's better to leave it alone.

God bless.

Instead, it makes more sense to spend time making new videos, flaws and all, that you will be paid for.

Think about what you wrote. That description applies to a large segment of the PU members as well. I am more of a pack rat than a connoisseur of porn. I download a lot of material, much of which is stored on my hard drives and not even looked at more than once.

So why store it? In the chance I can look it over again sometime in the future. But in the meantime, I am constantly looking for even more material to download.

So the chance that I will be able to leisurely look over my collection grows smaller and smaller, as my collection grows larger and larger.

That's why I say I am a pack rat. I imagine the same applies to many of my fellow PU members.

It would be more intelligent to be a collector, and to keep only the finest and best photos and videos. But I don't operate that way.

And deleting porn content, unless it's really crap, is difficult for me.

If your tastes do change (stranger things have happened), I reviewed a site called Rock Star Porn Star. The male talent is a heavily tattooed guy who acts like he is king of the world, and who likes to strut his stuff and bang wild women. I only gave the site a score of 70, because I didn't like a single video at the site (this guy is in every video at the site). But for $9.95/month, you get this site and a number of better sites (it's part of the netFameSolutions network, which has some nice sites).

Just thought I would throw this idea at you. You don't have to throw it back at me.

I dislike tattoos on men. I dislike them even more on women.
But in the last few years, I am seeing tattoos on more and more men and women, who are not actors, but regular, every-day people, of all ages.

You see tattoos on girls who are in their teens, their twenties, and older. And it just seems the thing to do. These are not far-out chicks, but regular people.

So I've learned to accept tattoos as something people do to themselves. I don't like it, but since I have no control over it, it's just something people do.

I prefer women with no tattoos, no piercings. But that's just me.

There must be millions of men (and women) who think tattoos are cool. I'm just not one of them.
