I have the money, I have the desire but am still looking in vain for a really mature site (with every woman over forty) that majors in photos, with some good videos thrown in. Can be hardcore but would prefer softcore!

I am dropping all previous demands for hair, nylon lingerie, or softcore only. I just want a reputable site that features women that are more mature than MILFS. Can you (the staff) get your heads together and help me?

BTW, SCORE sites are excluded from my request because of their new policy of streaming only after 7 weeks.

That should get you Firefox 3.6, if you want it.

I am not exactly happy with Firefox 5 myself, not only can I not use the movies downloader but also one of my favorite GUIs is no longer good with the latest version of Firefox. But the worst thing is that it is buggy. So my question is: can I install Firefox 3.6 OVER Firefox 5, or should I uninstall version 5 first? I am worried about losing some of my present settings if I do. Thanks.

No thanks at all by Steve, it seems! Just for that I am sticking with my PC! And if I ever buy a tablet it will be by RIM (getting in a bit of a plug for a Canadian company!)

Thanks rearadmiral for your honest answer. And along with you I am waiting to be enlightened by someone more knowledgeable about iPads. We shouldn't have to wait long .. there's been millions of them sold!

The third syndrome: I don't give a shit because I didn't do it syndrome. That's when you see some trash on the ground and instead of picking it up and throwing it in a garbage can. You walk by and tell yourself that you didn't throw it on the ground so why should you pick it up. The last syndrome is one that seems to afflict most city workers.
It's the syndrome: It's not my job/Why do more if you can do less and still get paid.

The fact is that most citizens in large cities don't have any pride in their city and therefore don't care if the city looks like a garbage dump.

Things have improved tremendously in Nova Scotia since I first got here in 1958 so there's always hope that things will keep getting better.

Canada (NS) at first was a tremendous shock to my system. No one seemed to care where they threw or placed their garbage! You turned off the highway for a walk in the woods and bumped into discarded cars, worn tires, refrigerators, bath tubs, anything that people no longer wanted.

The sides of the highways themselves were littered with soda bottles and empty cigarette packs and dirty diapers etc. An absolute disgrace!! In the cities themselves, unexpected pockets of extreme neglect and poverty, they were shabby looking in general, not being helped by all those wire carrying wooden telephone poles that marred the beauty of the city streets that could have been interesting. Quite a shock for a new immigrant. And there people kept asking me: How do you like God's country? And boy, did I have to lie because there was not a country in Western and Central Europe (even 11 years after WWII) where the cities were so neglected and dirty.

I think in general cities in Canada like Montreal, Toronto, Halifax, Vancouver (even if it has an unsavory underbelly) have become far cleaner and livable over the past fifty years. Now to make my joy complete I wish they would remove those telephone poles and bury the wires underground. They are not exactly an ornament to any city.

Sounds good to me, Ken. Maybe a weekly email in html? You peaked my curiosity with "new deals that sometimes are not a good fit for the site" .. now I wanna see what you are talking about. I have nothing else to contribute except that I wouldn't be interested in bargains that had nothing to do with porn.

My bride bought me an IPad. She claims its idiot-proof. I may prove her wrong. Im mucking about in it okay, and have downloaded some interesting apps, but I also dont want to be afraid of using it for the same thing I use my PC for: porn. I doubt Id actually use it to view porn, since all my porn exists on external drives and I see no way to plug one of those into an IPad. But I would like to pop on to PornUsers using it, though Im not sure about browsing history. If I used Safari or the Google app to access PornUsers, Im assuming that leaves a bit of a trail. Does it? I know in Google I can clear the search history, but even if I do that can my past sites be discovered? Im assuming that since my bride will likely pick up the IPad and use it once in a while Id be best to not sign on and have the site remember me. Does this make sense?

Any advice will be appreciated.

I envy you your iPad, rearadmiral. I love gadgets but quite frankly I haven't figured out yet what they could give me that a computer doesn't?? I've never held one in my hand, I have never seen one .. so what is their primary task? This Is An Honest question!!! Especially if there's no USB port for a porn download to an external. I assume it is basically for reading the latest news, sports, entertainment etc. while you are away from a computer. Is that it? Or is there more to it than that? Sorry I couldn't help you re. questions of security. Now if you were talking about not leaving a trail on a desk top I'd have all kinds of advice!

I never paid much attention to health news. I had assumed that STD (except for HIV) were diseases that had mainly been controlled. But that was obviously incorrect.

They had mainly been controlled, along with more common diseases like pneumonia etc. Trouble is that through our misuse of antibiotics .. we stop taking them too early .. we put them into the food of our chickens, pork etc. as a protection from disease therefore, as someone else wrote, the bugs went into survival mode and there are now viruses and bacteria that resist every attempt to kill them.

Many scientists are afraid that all the communicable diseases, not only STD, will be untreatable down the road and we'll be back to the bad old days, health wise! That's why I wrote in a previous post I hope they are working overtime to find a weapon against the super bugs.

Just saw/read yesterday that an incurable form of Gonorrhea has been found in France. It resists all attempts to treat it. Will we see nothing but protected sex in the future? According to the report women are especially susceptible to catching this disease while performing fellatio. I would be totally turned off watching anyone getting a bj while wearing a condom but if someone's health is so obviously on the line I guess we will have to get used to this.

I was thinking more of photo sites, anyonebutme, when I wrote the above. Favorite sites of mine like: Anilos, ATK Natural & Hairy, All Over 30, Abby Winters .. they've all started to add more and more hardcore material. Can't be sure of how much when it comes to AW but I know that they have added b/g content since my last subscription. At the beginning they were pure softcore with some midcore (masturbation with dildoes etc.)thrown in but the voices for harder contents are persistent. Why they don't go to sites that give them all the hardcore they want in the first place is beyond my comprehension.

I don't think they will ever blow in our direction again, graymane, because many of the male population look at entirely too much porn since the Internet came into existence, and just like with drugs, many need stronger and stronger stuff to give them the same kick. So the trait, IMO, will tend to continue to go from soft material to stronger to extreme.

There are exceptions to this, of course, I don't want to paint everyone with the same brush.

I wouldn't like that either, RustyJ. Sites should stick to their "original" theme, that's why we chose them in the first place. As I said, I subscribe to some hardcore sites myself, so I'm not anti-hardcore, I am just upset with sites trying to be everything to everybody until, eventually, no one actually gets enough of what they like during the usual one month subscription.

BTW, which HC sites are slipping solo way .. I haven't noticed that trend among any of mine? The only trend I have noticed is from soft to harder contents in most (primarily) photo sites.

Yay, I'm officially done with RK as of July 3. Why did I do it? Because I was so happy to get away from all that Gonzo style garbage where they get to the action within the space of ten seconds. One moment the model is on a sofa being interviewed, next moment she is on the floor, naked, giving a BJ to two guys, and here at RK the scenes actually had a little lead-in to them. This was very appealing to me.

Trouble is if you see basically the same lead-in (changing from site to site within the network, of course,) with mostly the same male actors, in update after update, all you really need is one update from each site and you got them all.

And, no, I didn't incapacitate myself from pure frustration or rage I just stopped looking for updates. My present RK folder after one year now contains about 8 files after I weeded out all the superfluous ones. And I am sick of Voodo and JMac (two of the male actors) and never want to see their faces again.

I'm with you, Drooler. Too many site owners give in and you end up with a mixture that won't please anyone very much. These sites practically beg for a once a year subscription rather than a quarterly one because it usually takes them that long to build up a bit of material that appeals to a particular taste (be it softcore or hardcore).

You are right about the "artsy" sites, Capn. They have remained true to themselves. And good for them! Trouble is, while they feature gorgeous models, they lack erotic appeal (to me!) because they basically feature plain nudes. I like nudes but only after a leisurely strip .. but everybody knows that by now!

... from softcore to hardcore. It seems to be happening to all of my formerly favorite sites. They were wonderful in the beginning but the constant push by hardcore lovers turned them into something that is far less desirable to me.

I have nothing against hardcore, I subscribe to hardcore sites, but when it comes to photo softcore sites I wish they had stuck to their guns and not given in to those who constantly asked and pushed: where's the b/g content?

I don't like hybrids. You should be either one or the other, not both, because this way no one ever gets enough of what they are looking for. But that's me.

That happened to me only the other day, I was in the middle of downloading a scene with a pretty hot model in it, decided to read the comments that came with the video and found that she had died a year earlier. I stopped that download in a hurry. I have no idea now as to who she was or what she died from but it just didn't feel proper to watch a porn scene with a young girl in it who was now dead.

DVD sites should not even upload DVDs like that out of respect for the model and her relatives.

Of course, in the case of the Classics, that's a different story. I watched a John Holmes movie only the other day and saw nothing wrong with that.

There are also a huge number of books (fiction and non-fiction) that can be highly interesting or enjoyable to read. Get them from the library and the cost is minimal.

Here is a weird thing, lk2fireone, but maybe others have the same problem: there is no way we (my wife and I) could watch a movie or read a book during the day. For those activities we need the quiet, late night hours.

So, while my wife is okay during the day puttering around the house, I am reduced to either reading (or watching) all the news there is or dropping in on the Porn Users' forum with alarming frequency. Just ask Khan how many times I sign in during the space of a day!

I am willing to bet that the TBP crew never anticipated becoming a life line to seniors when they started this site! Maybe they should apply for a tax exemption as a charity!

It certainly is not living the full life, but going for lengthy walks is out, visits to malls etc. are infrequent because of the pain factor if I spend longer than half an hour in the mall.

So, to me, a porn addiction .. or I should say an addiction to COLLECTING porn is not an evil thing but warmly welcomed for brightening up my day. Now if only I could find a bit more to collect, and with this we return to the subject at hand!

I am having dry spells quite frequently these days. I get so tired of looking forward to updates that turn out to be run-of-the-mill, unimaginative and boring that, only recently, I actually deleted the bookmarks and passwords of some sites I was still a member of. What's the sense in going back day after day to look at updates that are all the same, with only the models changing.

I keep blaming the fact that I have seen so much over a life time that I am jaded, or that I am just getting too old, but those theories don't hold water because, when I go back to the older material in my stash I still find it stimulating and exciting.

I agree with Pat in connection with most sites:

"... their recent stuff isn't very good and upcoming isn't much better."

Porn has become a formula that only appeals to a certain (albeit large) segment of the YOUNG male population, while many of us feel left out.

Hate those dry spells!! I mean what else can you do but look at porn if you're 75 and practically house bound!

Hi Kevin, I find my biggest problem is not with the bottom line but with the "Cons," it is there that I invariably run out of space, or have to extend my cons into the bottom line. I wonder if others experience the same problem or am I the only nit-picker?

Thanks, Denner. And I didn't even notice the fact that I was quickly bumped until you mentioned it! As others mentioned, most people will notice the name of a site that might interest them and look up that review even if it isn't in the number one spot.

I just submitted a new review and feel half guilty about not having checked as to who submitted one before me and when.

It's not selfishness on my part, I assure you, but stems from my habit of looking at the review section, see which ones were posted today and then look at them one by one, this way no one ever gets ignored.

It's also hard to space a review when you get a flood of reviews a day, as we've seen during the last few days.

I have mixed emotions about "comments." On the one hand it allows you to blow off steam if there have been a number of crushingly boring updates and on the other hand you have guys who even use the comments section as a masturbatory tool: "Oh baby, I would like to .... The model is probably used to it but I couldn't talk like that, directly or indirectly, to the performer.

Hi mr smut and slutty, the theory would make good sense if it stopped at cap 8 or however high the details go, but I've seen people refer to cap 39 (just an example), this is what made me wonder. And mr smut I like the addition of HD as well but must say I haven't seen too many that appealed to my taste. Most are (to me) either too dark in lighting or too color saturated. There is the odd nice one, though. And I DO appreciate the fact that I have the choice of HD.

... because it once again reveals my ignorance and I hate that. In Videobox (if you subscribe to it or have ever subscribed to it) some users leave comments like: cap 34 is a classic, or cap 4 is gross etc.

Now I've heard of vidcaps but never see anything on this site that would point to pictures or caps. So, what are they talking about?

Ashamed messmer.

I'm watching The Game of Thrones, a series on HBO. Many people have commented that the series is a faithful rendering of the books. But I have found many instances where the TV series leaves out small plot points, or small details in the characterizations. And it bothers me, decreases my enjoyment of the TV series. Because I consider the books a richer experience. As I've said before, it's better for me to see a movie and then read the novel it's based on (assuming I really enjoyed the movie), because that way the movie does not conflict with the story I created in my mind from reading the novel. I am better able to accept differences when I see the movie first, instead of reading the novel first. There's probably some psychological term to describe that experience.

Yes, I think it's far better that people see the movie first and then read the books. In this series of movies I admired how they managed to leave out some very major characters and important sub plots and still have movies that made dramatic sense and stayed true to the main theme as well.

P.S. Should you decide to read the books don't give up too soon. The style is different from what we are used to and I almost didn't read the first book because I found the first couple of chapters actually not only boring but confusing. But once I continued I was hooked. Edited on Jun 20, 2011, 09:58am

That courtroom victory was indeed the high point of the whole series for me, so I completely agree. As I mentioned in another spot I liked the 3rd movie of the trilogy with only the subtitles bothering me, a dislike I appear to have overcome with movie one!

That was shown clearly when he refused to back down to the threats of the "Section", even though his main co-journalist, because of death threats, says they have to back away from the story because their personal danger is too great. But Nyqvist goes ahead, on his own, and publishes the story the journalists had been working on. It wasn't just his own life that was at risk.

I never saw it this way because if you read the books then you know that the publication of the story had to take place at a certain time if they wanted to roll up the section effectively. At least that's how I interpreted it. To me both Nyquist and Lisbeth Salander were quite sympathetic characters. Different, but sympathetic. Edited by Staff on Jun 19, 2011, 02:03pm

I thought Noomi was good, though I only thought that the 3rd movie had the emotional range that I was craving - even from a character that has a limited emotional range, I just don't think the direction in the first film was more than OK. And cinematically, none of the 3 films were very exciting, so if the characters aren't being directed to have a great depth and if the images on the screen aren't terribly exciting, then all you've got is the story - luckily the story is a damned good one.

I have to disagree with you for once, Pink Panther. I just watched "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" last night after having seen the other two movies first and found it very thrilling and well made. Of the three, this one was definitely my favorite and I am wondering if the new American version will be able to top it. Lots of details from the book had to be left out but I think they did a great job coming up with a cohesive and exciting story.

I usually spend about 30% of my computer time at PU/TBP, 40% at porn pay sites, and the remaining 30% are usually divided up between studying the latest news headlines, leaving comments about some of the stories and playing computer games.

I haven't downloaded "like crazy" in ages because I find it increasingly hard to find something that really turns me on.

There seems to be a basic formula to most porn and once you've seen a thousand nudes/sex scenes, you've seen them all. Nevertheless I keep on browsing and hoping to find, one of these days, that gem of a site that combines mature women and sexy lingerie. I don't think I would ever get tired of that!

It could very well be my age that makes me more demanding and jaded but, just as an example, I had five sites going simultaneously until two days ago, couldn't find anything exciting on most days and decided to delete their bookmarks even though my subscription wasn't up yet. I did keep one!

I just got resentful signing in day after day and finding nothing new or exciting so I wrote them off mentally as a loss.

Actually the new reality, come to think of it, is that now I spend less time at porn pay sites than I mentioned above, and more at PU, and my bandwidth usage for the download of porn must have dropped dramatically as well. Edited on Jun 16, 2011, 12:28pm

Thanks, squirrel and rearadmiral! I must confess to being more than a bit embarrassed, in retrospect, over wearing my heart on my sleeve. That is SO un-Canadian! Just goes to show how close I feel to this group of pervs. May all of you live long and prosper!

You know, the funny thing is that I have a very fragile ego, squirrel. For some reason I always feel that I am an imposition rather than someone who could possibly be liked. So when I read posts like yours it gives me an emotional boost way beyond what others who are more secure about themselves would experience. Thanks for helping to knock down the walls of low self-esteem a bit through your kind words!

Thanks guys, for all your kind comments. I could say: "I wanted no stinking badge" but it wouldn't be true. I sorta like the feeling of topping the one-hundred mark.

And, thanks Khan, I did receive your email. Just forgot to answer it!

But it is also true when I say: far more important than any badge are your extremely nice comments re. my presence at PU.

I sometimes curb my input in this forum on purpose because I don't want to overpower the posters with my opinions .. but the reason I am up there on the list of contributors is because I love the company I am in and love our civilized intercourse (no, not that kind).

This place is really home to me and having a forum is the best idea TBP ever had. A day wouldn't be a day if I didn't drop in four - five times for a bit of company.

I'm pretty well housebound so, like it or not, you gentlemen (and three ladies) have become the only friends I have. I know it's an electronic friendship but even if we should never meet in person you've still become more to me than just a handle and to feel liked and appreciated by you is a real honor.

Thanks again for making me feel special today. Better than a birthday, especially at my age! Affectionately yours,

m.

Thanks, Denner, that cleared things up quite a bit. I am proud of my Scandinavians who said: Hey, let the guy watch strip, for Heavens sake! Those are the people I thought I knew!

Besides, why can't the king, of all people, just have private lap dances at the palace?

Couldn't agree with you more, Drooler. "I don't give a shit" is usually my attitude when it comes to the rich and famous. But Sweden and Denmark were my first countries where I could get real Porn and it shocks me no end that they would have a moral problem when it comes to strippers yet are cool with extra marital affairs! Sounds weird to someone who had the highest regard for the healthy sexuality of Scandinavians.
