Be careful in what you wish for. I came across a scene in an ordinary run-of-the-mill DVD the other day where the girl was bleeding from her rectum. It was clearly noticeable every time the guy withdrew fully, yet he kept going as if nothing unusual were happening. That's the last anal I will look at.
I know one thing, even though I love porn I don't want to be even indirectly responsible for causing pain to another human being.

Oh, how I envy you, graymane. A skin fetishist! Well, you live at the right time because all you see these days is skin! I keep telling photographers at various sites: "you forgot to tell your models to bring underwear!"

No hunting for you, all you have to do is pick one site at a time from among thousands. Skin is in, cotton is in ... you lucky son of a gun, you! Wish my hunt were as simple!

So Messmer, what you really needed were MORE no trust votes! LOL

But that one you got was kinda of funny. What was the comment, "not a good revue"? What, were you supposed to travel North America, with key stops in Vegas and Atlantic City, with an entourage performing Doo Wop hits or something? Or Broadway show tunes?

Maybe it was a case of mistaken identity. Not just of you, but of the appropriate web site.

LOL. Thanks for pointing out the "not a good revue," Drooler. Your comments made my day.

What the hell ... good to change things around a little now and again, eh?

Well, in all fairness to you, I don't blame you or anyone else for not catching the kidding.

Trouble is in the first part of my post I was mostly serious because I had the desire to see others in this group discuss the term "perv," and what it meant to them ... and did they consider themselves to be perverts for their love of porn and then, only after that, came up with the "tongue-in-cheek" request to have a (to me) funny line replaced.

I thought the "humbly request" and smiley would make it clear that I wasn't being serious .. but as I said .. I was too heavy handed and obscure. I freely confess it because others also didn't see the levity behind the request.

So, do you (everyone) consider yourself to be a pervert just because of your love of porn. I, personally, don't!

OTOH, forget it, I just took a look at the poll you mentioned. I had forgotten all about it!

Even though I referred to us as "pervs" in another thread I honestly don't believe that a lover of erotic material is a pervert.

Within the category of erotica itself you can be a pervert when it comes to certain niches but generally speaking I think the word is not justified, not if 99% of the male heterosexual population love to ogle beautiful women. Or if gays like to ogle male bodies.

Therefore I humbly request that the caption on our home page: "Welcome to Porn Users! Giving a voice to perverts around the world" be changed to something more appropriate like "lovers of erotica" or whatever your fertile mind can come up. Humbly submitted this fourteenth day of March, 2011.

Wouldn't it be an eye opener if some generous donations to the Red Cross or other reputable relief organizations were made by people who are considered to be "pervs" by the main stream of society?

I think we can take our minds off porn for a few minutes to remember the people of Japan who've been struck by an immense double disaster: a powerful earthquake at 9.0 on the Richter scale and a devastating tsunami.

I just came across this .. it's shocking:

Just drag your mouse from right to left over the pictures.

I would have guessed late twenties, early thirties but then an Avatar is not large enough to make a true judgement of someone's age. The breasts looked mature and natural .. and they were my main focus!

The second time was when I was burning porn on CDs because DVD-Rs were still far to expensive. I had a space problem again.

I then had a huge collection of collection of commercial porn DVDs and was thinking that I'd have to get rid of them but I was able to find some software that allowed me to convert them to wmv files so I didn't have to discard anything.

Each time I've done a purge I end up regretting it. And for me, each time I've done a purge has been driven my storage limitations. But now I rely on cheap memory like the Western Digital Passports and similar. The price per GB is very low now and continues to drop, so do yourself a favor and just find a way to store what you have. You be glad that you did.

A true collector, rearadmiral! I wouldn't be tempted to follow your example despite the cheapness of the present external drives because I find that as my computers get more powerful along with their graphics card, and my monitors get larger, much of my earlier material just does not look good any more.

Recently I did a wholesale housecleaning of my older stuff. On one drive I deleted every video with lower specs than 640x480 and every picture set that was 800x600 and lower, some of the files had even been my favourites at the time, and I haven't missed them one bit. Of course, my short term memory isn't that great, so that might contribute to my lack of regret over the massive delete!

This means that my porn collection is going to greatly shrink as I start trimming the stuff I'm no longer interested in, as opposed to growing and growing as other PU'ers collections seem to have done.

Am I in the minority here or do any others of you find yourselves trimming your collection of content?

Just wondering...

Good points you bring up. I've been deleting quite a few sets of pictures lately that I marked "keep" only a few years ago and now I can't understand what it was about the model that turned me on to a point that she became one of my favorites.

My taste has also shifted from younger to mature and from glamour (long ago) to natural. Recently it really shrank to a minimum: matures stripping out of sexy lingerie!

So, yes, in my case it has been an evolution as well. And I'm sure it's not over yet. BTW.your avatar appeals to me greatly: mature, natural, stockings .. I like it!!!

I don't know of any books, rearadmiral, but there's a series called "Pornucopia" on late night Canadian TV (Cable) that seems to give a pretty good insider's look into the Porn Industry. Another one is "Webdreams." I never watch them (except for a first but also last time just to see what they are about) because I don't WANT to know what goes on behind the scenes. I like my illusions too much!

There are two sites that carry erotic fiction that I go to quite regularly if visual gets boring, and quite frequently it does.

If you are a true "reader" then your imagination causes the written word to become visual anyway. If the story is well written then the characters and action will come alive for you with the added bonus that they all look and act the way YOU see them in your mind.

That's why people react so negatively to movies that are based on books they have read. The books created one reality in their minds and the movie can't even come close to the way they envisioned things to be.

There are notable exceptions to this, of course. The Harry Potter movies came quite close to matching the picture my mind had painted through the books.

One other point (made by the pervert in me), reading is also more interactive: Let's say the author is younger and has a pantyhose fetish, and I've made it abundantly clear how I feel about pantyhose, I'll just go to the story I have saved in Open Office and replace all mention of "pantyhose" with "garter belt and nylons." It's done with one click! Interactivity at its best.

You are so right! Trouble is I have no idea how to grow a thicker skin. Ah well, it's not as if the no trust vote is bugging me on a daily basis. I simply wonder on and off what in my comments or reviews made someone decide I couldn't be trusted. So during my years with PU I have been baffled in connection with this rather than hurt.

And with the no trust vote being anonymous and I am only guessing that it must have been in connection with my AW comment. Could have been anything, I suppose. Sometimes someone just doesn't like you or your style.

PS. After that last paragraph I just went back for the first time since I got the no trust and found that it was in connection with a review, months after my AW comment. No mention which review he found "not good" .. I think a couple of pointers would have been helpful. But I am glad that that no one thought I was a shill, so that helps. This still embarrasses me greatly. My very first pay site was Abby Winters and I was so impressed and elated about the quality that I sent a rave email to the webmaster who suggested that maybe I should share my enthusiasm with you folks at PU so that you too would know how people felt about her (his) site.

In my naivety I made a gushing comment which was mistaken as "shilling for the site" and I've lived with a non-confidence vote ever since! As I said, I'm still embarrassed but I'm also grateful because I discovered a place (TBP/PU) that's become very dear to me in the meantime.

Maybe if you concentrated a bit more on a prolonged strip, Ed. The Cap'n peaked my interest with his review yesterday and I took a tour of your site. What I found, generally, was the same sort of strip I will get in many other sites as well: Everyday clothes with a bra and panties underneath and that's it.

I think I saw 4 sets altogether where the model wore more than that (garter belt and stockings, stay-up hose).

There are some British sites that are excellent when it comes to stripping, Village Ladies / Village Vixen being two of them. Their technical quality is horrible, many of their models are not all that appealing that's why I would never subscribe, but if someone could build a similar but high quality site with nice models like yours I really think they could corner the market in "stripping!"

Another good example of women doing the stripping right is found in Southern Charms. Here again most of the British ladies outshine the others because they have the tease down perfect. Look at some of the samples under Camilla (one of my favorites) if you are so inclined and have the time.

Trouble is that SC is a collection of solo sites and that many (if not all?) of their models have non-zipped picture sets something that stops me from ever re-subscribing to any of their sites, favorite or not. Just a thought, and as always, I don't necessarily represent the majority opinion. Just reacting to your remark! Hope you don't mind!

P.S. In my usenet days I also came across another two models, one called herself the English Lady the other's name was Sarah, both did the strip tease perfectly. This is just mentioned to give you an idea of what I am looking for and why I'm always complaining to webmasters about their models forgetting to bring underwear to the shoot! Our free-to-view broadcast over the airwaves TV channels (channels anyone can watch for free) show quite a lot of nudity, even during daytime programming. Last year we even had shows showing prolonged full-frontal nudity during lunchtime with no censorship or blurring. We also get regular daytime adverts featuring naked people with bottoms unobscured. Swearing gets bleeped usually before 9pm and violence is frowned upon depending on context.
When I hear about the level of censorship and restriction they seem to suffer in the US, I'm very glad I don't live there.

I think nudity has always been treated more casually in most parts of Europe than in the U.S./Canada. I still remember all the main stream weekly magazines that used to adorn our coffee table, all containing a section that featured nudes. No one thought to hide them from the children. Nudity was not offensive. And that was many, many years ago (in the fifties)! I also noticed on the occasions I visited my mother years later that their TV fare was indeed more liberal than Canada's (except for Quebec) but they did censor Wiley Coyote and the Roadrunner etc. by removing much of the cartoon violence! Something we would find ridiculous. Don't know if they still do that, though!

The one thing that keeps me using Firefox is the ability to eliminate all traces of my web browsing when I shut it down yet it will keep all my passwords safe and only accessible through a master password. I found that, in other browsers, if I deleted cookies and history at the end of a session the passwords were gone as well. I also missed that master password when I tried them out.

This is my biggest reason for not using MSIE .. no master password. This is such a handy feature. You can use it to stop someone else from using your profile in a browser, you can use it to stop someone unauthorized from looking into your Google mail etc. It's a great feature and I haven't found this in any other browser except for the late Netscape 8. Does Chrome have a Master Password?

This has always baffled me, turbo. To me, the exaggerated violence in many shows or movies is the true obscenity. I wouldn't deny adults the right to watch a violent program but to see the same crowd upset over the "accidental" flashing of a breast .. that's bizarre.

If I didn't have the option of subscribing to Pay Channels with adult (not necessarily porn) contents I wouldn't watch TV at all, except for the news. No commercials, uncensored language, nudity, provocative shows, just the way I like it, even though, here too, not all shows appeal to me personally. Do you make a distinction between regular channels and subscription Cable channels?

On our regular channels, same as on your NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox, PBS, nudity is far from common, however we can subscribe to The Movie Network in Eastern Canada which includes HBO where there's quite a bit of softcore and hardcore (only excluding ejaculation) to be found during the late hours.

We can also subscribe to two hardcore channels that show the same sort of DVD one would find in VideoBox or Videosz, uncut, uncensored.

And then there's the Playboy Channel, rejected by me because of all the perfect, enhanced breasts!

My guess for your crashes would be a software conflict, which you might have fixed with your driver updates.

But a memory dump is not a problem; instead, it's a regular feature of
Windows that is supposed to help solve/identify the problem of why a PC crashed.

Thanks, lk2fireone. I had no idea that the memory dump was part of the solution. In my non-tech mind I was using too much system memory for some reason and that's why I kept crashing. I kept getting little Microsoft messages after the system re-booted itself .. "you just had a fatal error (or some such thing) do you want Windows to find a solution to your problem." I always clicked "yes" but the crash kept recurring. I have the feeling you are right, it must have been the drivers because I've been okay since I got the new driver updates software.

Strangely enough through all this that little flag in the tray, representing the action center, kept giving me the message: no current issues detected.

Hey Denner, Vista is a much maligned operating system but I never had one single crash with it during the time I had it on my computer. Windows 7 on the other hand crashes on me at least twice a week. At first I thought that Firefox might be the culprit because it is known to be a memory hog but then, when some of the crashes occurred shortly after I started my computer, I began to doubt that theory.

I just got a program that checks for driver updates and since I replaced about 25 drivers with up to date ones I haven't had a blue screen yet. So I am keeping my fingers crossed. Maybe they were the cause. On the other hand, why was there always a memory dump connected with the event?

In any case, experience has taught me that if I have Internet or Cable TV problems, pulling the power cord on the modem or Cable Box will correct them most of the time.

And if it is a computer problem a re-boot usually fixes that!

So just some questions, comments ect. to all here about trying to be safe and what to do if and when things go wrong - I hate nothing more than PC crashes - not being able to do what you do a lot - and then using days to get restored ect.

Had the second Windows-crash the other day could not even get Windows started, not even in safe mode..
Luckily I downloaded a free program (Macrium Reflect) some week earlier, made back up of the C-drive at one of the external drives and made a boot cd..or I probably would not be here yet..

What are your experience about avoiding crash - oh, I know there's a lot of forums worldwide and domestic, but still a lot here got to have some knowledge - being porn browsers..

So: What do you do to keep your computer safe - as safe can be?

Safe from virus - of course - but also safe from a lot of other mysterious stuff when downloading all kinds of files..

Anybody tried that System Mechanic program? Downloaded the trial version - and it keeps finding errors daily - is it (the program) reliable or just "hey, buy me ($ 49.95)" - "because I find a lot wrong with your PC".
I got recommendations for the free CCleaner, but that System Mechanic find many more registry errors than CCleaner - so what's right? And can you rely on that this SM-program can really optimize your computer?

Bottom line: Any (other) good hints to stay more safe???

I guess everyone's experience is different from everyone else's, Denner. I've had four unrecoverable computer crashes over the years, all tied to failing hard drives. No software could correct that.

I have had plenty of Blue Screens Of Death with Windows 7, though. Things will get really jerky and sticky on me for no apparent reason and then it will do a memory dump and shut itself down. I usually just power the computer up again and everything is fine. Almost looks as if there's a memory problem there but W7 keeps telling me everything is okay.

Sorry, I couldn't respond with a suggestion on how to stay more safe! Hope someone knows of another good program to keep you protected.

Hi Manos,

I don't know who compiled that list. Political unrest in Canada? Australia? The U.K.? Ireland? Belgium? The U.S.? Italy? Israel? Argentina?

All these countries may have their usual divisions along partisan lines, which is something to be expected in a Democracy, but, as to Canada for one example, there's not the slightest sign of political unrest here and we don't have "strict laws regarding censorship" any longer.

If they are still on the books they are being ignored thanks to the reality of a borderless Internet, except when it comes to the subject p@dophilia. So I don't think your theory holds water. IMO. Edited on Feb 15, 2011, 02:32pm

Don't I know it! And I'll never understand why and that's the truth! Unless the model is positioned so far back in the picture that she's being dwarfed by the scenery.

But your cautionary remarks are still right on as a warning to someone who is tempted to open a new site. There are many users who prefer portrait, just as there are users who prefer striped little girls' cotton panties or socks.

I belong to a site right now where someone praises every set where the model wears socks while to me it's a sure turn off. In another site someone keeps commenting in connection with every update on how nice it would be if the model did anal, while I am opposed, or at least indifferent to it. Takes all kinds. And that's okay.

My fear is that if MistressKent starts a new site that attempts to please all tastes she'll just be imitating the big guys who do that already. And will therefore go under because they have so much more material to offer.

If I were taking a chance on starting something I would go for niche, and do something very few others do because the demand is so small. With millions watching and buying Porn it might still provide for a pretty good living.

But, of course, the decision will be up to MK.

Well, up till now we were talking mostly about reclining models but you don't have to feel restricted to only taking pictures like that.

I find that if you take the pictures in nice surroundings, standing up is great as well. Just crop anything above and below the model so that she will fill the screen, at the same time leave everything that shows on the sides so the picture is roughly 16:9. Looks really nice on the wide screen monitor.

Strange comment. We are talking about paysites that don't offer zipped picture sets.

Last time I tried DTA in a site that didn't zip their pictures I got the thumbnails only. What settings do you use? Mine are on default and I'm doing great when it comes to downloading videos or zipped sets with it but otherwise, as I wrote, I can't seem to get the pictures the thumbnails link to. Thanks!

You'll soon be complaining when there's no variety!

Dear Mistress Kent, one of you will have to start using smileys, as tacky as you might find them, because I took the post to be ironic. I am sure he was making fun of all the rednecks and super patriot one finds in his country these days.

In Reality Kings there are two: Voodoo and the curly haired guy with the Van Dyke beard (forget his name). They seem to be in every second update.

My personal most disliked is a guy named Janeiro (Janiero in many videos). Potbellied, with scruffy t-shirt, usually playing an amateur. Arghh!

No, it doesn't. I chuckled in connection with your new word and its definition but also laughed at lk2fireone's reply.

That's why I make constant use of smileys etc. It is so easy to misunderstand and misinterpret a post when you are not face to face with someone or if you don't know them personally.

I'll be making the site with updates and newsletter soon, so you can all keep up to date.

Thing is, if I hand it to TBP without loads of pictures, I get down graded straight away. I'll be able to manage at least 2 - 3 sets per week until it picks up, then most definitely dailies

Wish me luck people!!!

What are reclining shots????

Sounds good, MK. Reclining shots means pictures of the model laying down either on a bed, sofa, lawn chair .. what have you .. without any part of her having been cropped.

There are way too many sets on other sites where, once the model is nude, you see truncated close ups of either the torso or the lower bits. This may be necessary for a complete set but keep it down to a couple a set, more than that and it is boring. Others may want to correct me on this but I suspect most PUs in here feel the same way.

We would rather see a model's face or a whole body shot, this is very important to many of us. This is also why we ask for landscape shots.

It's the ideal way of showing the whole model. If the model is standing up it takes a bit of cropping so she won't get lost in the scenery but when lying down she looks really good on a wide screen monitor. Yumm!

I've wondered about the same thing myself, rearadmiral. My TV and Internet come to me through the same cable as well. Hope you (we) will get an answer from someone knowledgeable.

I am honestly glad to see an expert in this forum because something has been bugging me for weeks. Let me state first that I don't go to suspicious sites, ever, but a couple of weeks ago a little notice popped up as I was starting Windows 7 that I was running an unauthorized copy of the OS and to get in touch with Microsoft about it. I closed the window, Windows loaded as usual and I haven't seen the message since then. The security updates from Microsoft have kept on coming so quite obviously I'm legal! Is it a Virus? A Glitch? What would be your guess? Please tell me it's most likely the latter.

This is a real shame and embarrassment for Canada, Kevin. At one time we were one of the leading nations when it came to Internet speed and bandwidth, now we're down somewhere near the bottom (I think even some third-world nations are ahead of us) because all those greedy near-monopolies you mentioned were content (and allowed) to sit on outdated technology and collect money through usurious rates charged their users.

God, I look at the download speeds available in Finland, as one example, and shake my head: are we going to sleepwalk our way through the 21st Century and keep boasting about RIM (Blackberries) as our crowning electronic achievement or are we going to get back in the game. It's high time for some outside competition to be allowed to come in, it would light a nice little fire under Rogers and Bell and Company!
