I would suggest e-mailing whatever Support contacts there are at the ATK site(s) that you are a member of and see if there is any response.

For people who like John Hughes, and are looking for the modern equivalent, I recommend a few recent movies, all with Michael Cera - who seems to be the prototype of the cute nerdy-looking high school guy. Superbad is hilarious and over-the-top. Juno is an amazing funny-sad movie. I just saw Nick & Nora's Infinite Playlist, which is the most realistic movie I've seen in quite a while on the late teen experience while being quite entertaining. The dialogue is brilliant. It reminded me so much of listening to young relatives chat at family get-togethers. Elements like the main character drive a Yugo and have to repeatedly fend off people who won't believe that he isn't a Gypsy Cab Driver are beautiful. I love the framework of a night where the group of people are running all over trying to find a certain band playing a one-off mystery gig - I have numerous fond memories of those kind of quests - some successful, some not. My favorite was having to invade a Lesbian Separatist Party to get to see an all-woman punk band in Santa Fe, NM. We only got to see one song, but it was worth it to see them - and a great, fun night.

Agreed - Ferris Bueller has some great scenes - perfect movie to watch in bits and pieces when it gets shown on cable - especially because Mia Sara is such a babe!

I knew a bunch of people in the movie biz when I was in LA. They were funny. Most of them wound up working on crappy exploitation films, cause that's mainly what they make in Hollywood, but many of them seemed to think that they were doing something more important than people who worked 9-5 jobs, even if they were doing catering for "College Bimbos in Zombie-land" - actually the guy who did the catering was one of the cooler ones in that crowd, but some of them - whew! I did know one girl who managed to work on artier stuff - like Wim Wenders films. That was lucky for her. I'd go visit one friend of mine on sets every once in a while - she worked on a Paul Bartel comedy western in New Mexico - but I'd be bored after half an hour and go do something else. A friend of mine and I used to get extra work years ago - but that was even more boring and we'd leave and go harass the film set nurse - she was a cutie. When she'd get sick of us, it was easy to find a place where we could sleep till it was time to leave.

DDF's new deal is better than most they have offered - 10 sites for one price and they offer a variety of periods of time:

$34.95 for 30 days, one time
$59.95 for 60 days, one time
$74.95 for 90 days, one time

I never figured out the whole newsgroup thing - Yahoo and Google groups - yeah. I got turned on to lots of great stuff that way - especially tease models and 21st Sextury stuff. In fact, when I was first trying to find which 21st Sextury site I wanted to join, I e-mailed them saying, "Hey, I see all this stuff that just has '21st Sextury' on it - which site should I join?" Instead of getting a response from someone in Sales saying "Join THIS site!", I got a response from someone in their Legal Dept asking me where I saw the stuff so they could stop it from being posted - WTF? I didn't join any 21st Sextury site for 2 years after that as a result.

I understand the anti-piracy impulse, but I think it's like the music industry that was so hot to stop peer-to-peer file sharing and when they succeeded to a significant degree saw CD sales fall through the floor. Hell, the recording industry tried to stop radio from playing records in the early days, because they said - "If people can hear records for free, they'll never buy them" - yeah, that was smart!

Hmmmm - Bonus sites still updating are:

Teen Bitch Club
Dirty MILF Club
DP Overload
Squirting Files
Brothas Fuck Teens
Bootyfull Babes
Dirty Orientals
Lust For Anal
Do It Biatch
Teach Me Fisting
Mighty Rods
Lusty Grandmas
Lusty Busty Chix
Sex City Asia
Intermixed Sluts
Busty Fever
Juicy Butt Honeys
My Horny Asians
Cumming Matures
Asshole Fever
DP Fanatics
Footsie Babes
Mighty Mistress
Lez Cuties
Cuties Galore
Dominated Girls
Anal Teen Angels
Club Sandy
Grandpas Fuck Teens

Given that Lez Cuties is better than Sapphic Erotica, in my opinion, and that Cuties Galore has material as good as Nubiles.net and Anal Teen Angels has some really nice material as well and that there's a lot of good stuff to be found even in some of the real Grade B bonus sites and even more good stuff to be found in the sites such as Asshole Fever, I've got to disagree with the view that there's not much to be found in the bonus sites - of course, like anything else it's a matter of taste.

And possibly the best for "bore-core" videos. ;)

They should stop wasting their time and resources with the vids and just do what they do well: photos. (Maybe they could up the daily photo offerings to 5 galleries every once in a while?)

And if people complain "no videos!" Well, TS to them.
[/QUOTE]

As they tend to do on the 1st of the month, they posted 5 photo galleries and 1 new Jenya vid today

One of the interesting things about the world of internet porn is how there are such a disparity in sites offering great value and sites offering horrible value. And sometimes they change:

Horrible value these days - Brazzers - this site would have been in my better-value estimation at one time when it was "download all content for one price" and was posting several updates a day consistently and had top performers such as Amy Reid, Veronique Vega, Jenavieve Jolie in their vids - but now with their "wait 6 months to download the HD vids" and pay $4.98 a minute (!) to see their live show on top of membership, they are a horrible value in comparison with other sites

Best value - Pix & Video - Exotics did a great updated review the other day - starts off with a premium site offering a full update of pix and video (duh!) almost every day - maybe once every week or 2 they have an update that's only a vid interview. Then you get instant access to 30 or so websites and every month of continuing membership, you get access to 2 more - and one site has an "easter egg" feature that gets you access to all of the other "secondary" sites in the 21st Sextury network.

Best value - Twisty's - great consistency of updates - several photosets, multiple vids per day - plus you get access to Nicole Graves' site and through there you have acess to the great cam-z network with multiple live shows per day - and no BS extra fee per minute either.

Best value - Evil Angel's network - updates vary some in consistency - but there are a lot and both Buttman.com and Jay Sinn's site are posting web-only updates that are wonderful - they've only done one live show so far, but it was the best internet live show I've ever seen online with Stagliano on the camera - and no BS extra fees.

Best value - Jenna Haze and Premium Pass - updates vary here also, but there are increasing numbers of sites in the network with exclusive updates by Lexi Belle, Jenna Haze, Audrey Bitoni, Katsuni - and Eva Evangelina, Lexi Belle & Jenna Haze are doing live shows - Jenna's done solo, girl/girl & boy/girl shows - with no BS extra fees.

I could go on, but I'll let others comment Edited on Jul 31, 2009, 02:37pm

I use Windows Media Player or my Quicktime Player as my first choices, then use VLC if I'm having problems with a file, for some reason - especially if I have a file that isn't playing the audio, VLC is almost always the solution. Then I have a flash player if I get a file where I need that.

I've never used a download manager, but I have been having big problems downloading from Jsexnetwork lately. Their tech guy recommended that I use GetRight - so I guess I'll be trying it out - given how un-techy I am, it ought to be an adventure.

Well, not much of an adventure - and that's a good thing from my perspective - time download - approx 1 minute - time to set up - less than 1 minute - effectiveness - well, a site where I was getting broken files and downloads of 100-200 kb/sec, I'm now downloading at 516 kb/sec - can't beat that for 2 minutes work. I'm one of the dissenters that finds Twisty's videos hotter than the photo-sets, because I find the Twisty's photo-sets greatly over-treated (filtered, photo-shopped, whatever) to the point that I often feel like I'm not even getting a chance to see the model through all the photo treatment. The videos don't have that problem - The new one today of Gemma, the Twisty's Treat for the Month was criticized by a number of people in the comments for not being "harder" - eh, so what? is my perspective - for what it is, it's a great vid.

To review or not to review? I'm a lazy fuck, so I only review when I feel like reviewing - if you feel like the previous review said most of what you would have said in a review, write a comment for anything that's additional info.

Time saving and cuts down on the redundancy in the world - and Al Gore says that redundancy is a primary cause of global warming, so you can feel good about being green.

I'm with you on Mickie - she's fucking scrumptious - I love the way that she is just that perfect degree of plumpness to make her ass look ready to burst through the fabric of her pants. She's gotten hotter as she has matured. I became a fan of her when she was in "erotic" women's wrestling promotions, was delighted when I saw that she was on a path to the WWE and it's been great to see her develop. She came in when they had decimated the women's division, but now they've got a number of women that can really go - Maryse, Michelle McCool, Gail Kim, Natalya - when Mickie faces off against those women, it's electric.

I'm a big fan of dance - especially hip-hop and contemporary, though I like other styles - movies with dance scenes like Ferris Beuller & Pulp Fiction always get me going. Anyway, I love the dance show, So You Think You Can Dance - some of the female contestants are quite hot, but, oh, man, one of the choreographers, Sonya Tayeh, is one of the hottest women I have ever seen in my life - she's got a wild Suicide Girls style with a looooooongg mohawk and great tattoos on her shoulder and down her arm and a really fierce face with blazing dark eyes - mmmmmmm - and her choreography is fucking brilliant - There's a great interview with her at this site

Hicks was from Texas, right? I happened on him flipping stations on a hotel cable tv and seeing a rare appearance on Comedy Central - blew me away - and I happened to be with a friend from Texas who was really familiar with him.

Oh, and I meant "The Aristocrats" - The Aristocrats is a really foul joke with a very basic style that comedians have told to each other for years to practice their craft but rarely ever performed in public. Penn Jillette made a movie about it with a friend and it's amazing seeing all kind of comedians riffing on it - starting with George Carlin doing it and then breaking it down in great detail.

There's a fabulous scene of Gilbert Gottfried performing at a roast for Hugh Hefner very soon after 9/11 - he started joking about the difficulty of directing taxis in NY without the former landmarks - when the audience starting yelling "Too soon! Too soon!", he retaliated by telling The Aristocrats - I wasn't a fan of Gottfied until I saw that.

Please park your expectations outside if you watch this movie on DVD. Otherwise, those ideas might get in the way of your enjoyment of this spiritually uplifting film. I saw the movie on DVD today, and, because I was not expecting that much, actually liked watching it.

You found this movie spiritually uplifting? I put it in my "I probably would have enjoyed it more if I'd been really fucking stoned" category. Will Farrell has done some funny stuff, but more often than not, he, like the vast majority of SNL veterans, thinks he is way cuter and funnier than I think he is.

I remember going to see 2001: A Space Odyssey - and being completely fucking confused. I was way too young to know what the fuck that movie was trying to do. As much as I think Kubrick was a great director, he's not a director that I like all that well - his style, in most films, was just way too detached for my tastes. Sometimes the actor overcame the detachment - Jack Nicholson in The Shining, for example - Malcolm McDowell in A Clockwork Orange - but a lot of his films had no "heat" to them and are interesting as set pieces, but not fun to watch - sit down with Barry Lyndon and I'll give you $1 if you can make it through that sucker without rushing to clean your sock drawer or something.

Kubrick is like the polar opposite of Quentin Tarantino, who is all about entertaining the audience, even if it's during a long dialogue scene.

The Smothers Bros were great at looking so straight and being so subversive. That was the great thing about the 60's - lots of people caught the bug to stir things up.

I remember watching their show as a kid and marvelling at what they were saying - and the round-about ways that they had to say it to stay on the air as long as possible.

I'm a believer that, frequently, great art gets created because of restrictions. The fact that The Smothers Bros knew they had to contend with the censors made them better - very much like the screwball comedies of the 30's and forties.

Once comedians could curse as much as they wanted, most of them got extremely lazy and "motherfucker" became the most common punchline - and lost all it's impact, as a result.

Carlin was brilliant. Bill Hicks was brilliant.

Rodney Dangerfield doing stand-up might be my all-time fave for his sheer "musicality". He would start going and get in a rhythm and cadence that got more intense as he went along - and it was so mesmerizing and brilliant that it hardly mattered what he was saying - you were just carried along by the way that he was saying it - plus his material was fucking hysterical.

"The Aristocats" is my favorite movie about the art of stand-up comedy.

Not a new movie, but anyone seen Mr Brooks - Kevin Costner as a successful businessman/serial killer. William Hurt is the personification of Costner's voice in his head - prodding him on to more killing. Demi Moore is the detective pursuing him. Great combo for my tastes. Demi is just a passable actress, but give her a character with a limited emotional range and she does fine and is a great looking woman - sexier as she has matured, as far as I'm concerned. I don't get to see William Hurt in good movies nearly enough. He was really brilliant as Richie Cusack in A History of Violence - just a hilarious performance in that film. Costner is on my list of most under-rated actors. I like the way that he under-plays characters while still inhabiting them and he is very good here. It has some similar elements to the Showtime series Dexter, as far as someone that is a serial killer and keeps their personal life together, for the most part.

New Harry Potter movie is quite good - one big emphasis is in the adolescent hormones kicking into high gear and virtually every student is in heat throughout the movie, which produces a lot of humorous moments. I guess they're milking the franchise by doing 2 more movies, when they could do 1. Fine with me. I'm not anxious for the series to end.

You can go to a strip club and watch hot girls get naked all night and get private shows and pay less than what you can pay in a short time at these web cam sites. Like a lot of things in the world of adult entertainment, there's not a lot of logic as to why some guys are willing to spend so much money for what seems to other guys to not be worth it.

But then, to the "anybody that spends money on porn is a moron" crowd, all of us that pay money to join any porn sites are being silly. Whatever.

A site that I used to use is Adult DVD Marketplace - there are a lot of sellers there that buy their stuff through wholesalers and the pricing gets quite competitive - it's very much half.com used to be or like the competitive pricing on new DVD's and video games gets to be with the "other sellers" at Amazon.com. With their rating system, the sellers have a great incentive to deliver as promised - I never had any bad experiences with any of the sellers there.

There is a lot of software increasingly available to download web-cam shows - Real player has been promoting its ability to download streaming video from a wide variety of sites. I don't know how much ability there is to "save" files from your Real Player library, if that's how you go.

I'm sure there are other options available.

There's a lot of money in the web-cam biz. Molly at ALS Scan has been earning a living as a web-cam model for a number of years now - she's worked with various of the major companies. She's got her own web site now, Aaliyahlove.com and does free members shows. It's funny to hear her talk about her private show clients - she's got couples that get private shows with her, then she's got a guy that gets private shows with her and tell her that his wife is asleep next to him and he's laying there watching Aaliyah on his lap-top with headphones on.

I vote for the couple's relationship to last longer - or at least more happily

Where I find people wanting to get DVD's is if there are performers that they particularly like and it's a matter of speed - and having the cover and all the bonus material - all the "collector" ancellary aspects. Jenna Haze has said that she'll be posting all of the scenes from her movies that she is in to JennaHaze.com - but the biggest Jenna Haze fans are going to want to have her movies as soon as they come out and to have the physical product so they can get her to sign them when they see her feature.

It makes me wonder where the "real" money is in the porn industry - and I guess that, much like with Hollywood movies - there's got to be a mix.

For most new porn releases, it's the DVD sales that pay back the initial cost of production. Then it's the various internet opportunities - the star's site, the Online Video Rental, the licensing to DVD sites - that give the ongoing streams of financial returns.

I would imagine that for porn DVD's that are releases of scenes that have already been on the internet - such as with the Brazzers DVD's - the streams of financial returns get a bit mixed up - where the release of the scenes on DVD is a secondary financial opportunity, rather than the primary financial opportunity.

If I'm dwelling on this, it's because I'm trying to wrap my head around it in relation to the industry that I work in

There are instances where sites license with other sites - I don't know if I'm expressing the business terminology correctly.

For instance, there is a well-known forum that I've been asked not to mention the name of that has this relationship that I'm trying to describe with VideoBox. You can join Videobox under a completely different name and it's the same exact site - same exact updates, same exact price - but the forum that has this business relationship gets a piece of the profit if you join their "version".

This is even more common in the world of supermarket type products. There's Tide - just as an example - and then there is the same exact stuff being sold under lots of different names

One of the most classic examples of a scene that made the producers say "No" or wish they had said "No" was a gang-bang vid that Careena Collins did. She is/was a seriously kinky woman and was in a pretty intense BDSM relationship with a rather large Black guy. For some reason, before the scene started - the one they were paying her for, they suggested that she get started with her guy to be "warmed up". She said, "Are you sure? We get pretty damned intense together." They said, "Oh, yeah - go for it." Well, apparently it was way too much for the producers - cause they didn't use any of that footage. You can hear a minute or so of her getting smacked and howling before the main scene starts and she was so battered that the guys in the gang bang look kind of freaked out from the beginning - and what could have been a hellaciously hot scene was easily the most disappointing gang bang vid that Careena did.

On the other hand, the 3-some that she did in Taking It To The Limit 6 is astoundingly hot - easily one of my fave porn scenes - as is the 3 some that she did in Car Wash Angels.

For me, it's not all "hard and rough is bad" - in fact, I'm a big fan of Evil Angel stuff and my fave porn performers have included Debi Diamond, Careena Collins & Keanni Lei - all of whom are well known for doing intense work - but there's the fun of seeing women who want to do the craziest stuff and look good doing it - and then there's just disgusting shit. The first is a turn-on, the later definitely a "not".

As one of my fave strip club dancers said a week after seeing Gia Paloma do a feature stint, with a thoroughly disgusted look on her face, "Is it hot to see a woman shove a baseball bat up her ass? No, not hot!" Well, unless it's Jay Sin directing Amber Rayne in his utterly unique candy-coated filthy style. He could probably pull it off and make it look like a lot of fun.

Man, VideoBox posted some vid today - some extreme throat-gagging piece of shit - the cover of which is so fucking repulsive that I can't even look at the home page while it's there - yecccchhhh!!

There are things that make me say "No" and then there are things that could put me off porn forever - this is in the latter category.

Luckily I had downloaded the latest ALS Scan Caribbean vid - Amia Moretti and Tanner Mayes cavorting like the ultimate horny little beach nymphs - mmmmmm!!

Black Ice is a site that is batched with a join to ZTOD.com, the web site for Zero Tolerance, or ThirdMovies.com, the web site or 3rd Degree Movies. As of today, they say that Black Ice has 174 exclusive DVDs with 963 scenes, 542 pornstars. A join to any one of these sites gets you full access to the material on all 3 sites. I never paid much attention to the Black Ice material - mainly focused on Big Asses - but you can check out a lot in their tour.

Justin Slayer's site at Evil Angel's network has the most Black women of any of those sites - lots of anal and intense sex. It's not all Black women but there are quite a few scenes. Overall, his site has more than 140 scenes - and again you can check out a lot in their tour.

It's true for Japanese performers also, to be honest - they run the gamut. There are the "I can't believe this hot babe is doing this stuff" girls and there are the "I wish this girl weren't doing this stuff" girls, just as with performers in US-made porn.

I was cracking up at a new VideoBox blog where they were referring to the newest "stars" at VideoBox - and some of them were girls that were not good looking who happened to get some one to pay them to get fucked - and then VideoBox licensed the scene. That hardly makes them a star.

Lots of girls doing cam shows with Sybians these days - Aaliyah Love (Molly at ALS Scan) of Aaliyahlove.com does 2-3 cam shows a week, often with a sybian - cam archives are on her site to view anytime. Jessie from phil-flash.com, nubiles.net and fdau.com has her own site, jessiecoxxx.com - she does cam shows - sometimes with sybians as well. Girls just love that thing churning away in their hot pussies.

I agree that the Japanese porn that I've seen posted at VideoBox is bottom-of-the-rung crap - Jsexnetwork has that stuff beat by miles, as does ActionJav, though ActionJav doesn't have the uncensored stuff, just lots (5 updates per day) of the best Japanese porn.

I wonder if it's a good or bad sign that Rob Black & his wife pleaded guilty in their obscenity case. It sounds like they did it to protect their money - the prosecutors agreed to no fines - both will do 1 year and 1 day in jail, then 2 years probation.

John Stagliano has said that he wants to fight his case all the way to the supreme court, if need be, and bring a troup of women to the steps of the court to spurt milk out of their asses - I'd like to see that. I'd also like to see his case get tossed, though.

Funny - I thought this whole topic of free porn sites was off limits, considering that I got a warning from PU Administrators for having mentioned one.

I'm a fan of the Harry Potter films. Whoever is in charge of the film franchise has been very intelligent about using good directors through the series so that as the cast has grown up and the stories have gotten darker, the directors have been up to the task of bringing them to the screen with depth.

One of the joys of cable tv is catching portions of movies that are fun to watch in bits and pieces - and the Harry Potter movies - especially the more recent ones - fit into that category.

I don't know the details of what he was convicted of, or what he actually did that was criminal beyond being a photographer of erotic/pornographic photographs and videos. The wikipedia article says he was accused of coercion (through blackmail) to commit a sexual act, and creating pornographic images of minors. But my impression is that the law can throw the book at you because you are a pornographer. He certainly used young-looking models, but I don't know what the legal rules on nudity are in Russia or Europe. David Hamilton used very young-looking models, and I never read of him being put in jail for pornography.

Lucky for David Hamilton, he wasn't living in Russia. Given the new vice crackdown in Russia, including the closure of all casinos, according to an NPR that I heard a bit of yesterday morning, Galitsin, and anybody else doing anything that could conceivably be construed as the production of pornography, can not remotely be considered safe from arrest.

I'm not sure what this has to do with upcoming movies, but maybe there's an upcoming movie to be made about this topic.

Tarantino - love his stuff

I'm all over the map when it comes to movies. Frankly it's just like my taste in porn. I'm a simple man - entertain me and I'm happy. Nude, non-nude, glamour, candid shots, glossy Playboy-type babes or Suicide Girls, etc - If it's done well and turns me on, I'm happy.

Early last week I saw a movie that had intensely serious themes and was deeply cerebral, though leavened in a good way with silliness - and I thoroughly enjoyed it and it's a movie that I'll think about for a long time.

Saturday I went to see Transformers - it was a silly popcorn movie and it was entertaining.

It's not like Transformers pretended to be anything else. As to new blockbusters being so much worse than blockbusters of old - eh, watch some blockbusters of old again - there were some good ones, sure, but there was a lot of crap too - Buck Rogers serials, anyone? woof!

I saw Transformers 2 this weekend - it was fun, but the non-action stuff, especially the interaction between Shia and his family was the worst crap I've ever seen in that kind of movie. The mother was made into an absolute retard and it was all really bad writing and acting and the editing on those scenes was absolutely atrocious. It was like Bay had watch Porky's 4 and decided that he was going to emulate that style for the family scenes -- bleeccchh!!

But that was a very small portion of the movie and lots of the rest of it was very entertaining. John Torturo, who I didn't like much in the first movie, was brilliant in this movie - over-acting like mad but in a beautiful way.

I never bought the Farrah poster, but all I had to do was go out to shopping areas and it was everywhere, so I could gawk on the cheap. It was very sexy and even provocative for the time.

Farrah got pigeonholed as a bimbo and I didn't think it was fair. Even doing a "woman in peril" role as a domestic abuse victim wasn't much of a reach. I think she was shortchanged by the ineptitude of the "star system."

She agreed that being a woman in peril wasn't the greatest reach - she did a lot of other interesting work as well that was neither sex symbol nor women in peril. If I weren't such a lazy fuck, I'd go find the descriptions that I saw yesterday - but I am.

While Farrah had her weird moments - as do we all - I remember watching her melt-down drugged-out Letterman appearance - just happened to be watching that night - the thing that mainly struck me was that she wasn't willing to settle for just being a sex symbol and did some really courageous work to bust out of that pigeon-hole - and I really respect her for that - and certainly her fight against cancer was deeply courageous.

Michael J - made some astoundingly great music - bold, joyful, adventurous - and had a deeply fucked up life. He was an example of how high and how low the same human being can go.

RIP

The bad thing is when you join one site and get 5 other "Thank you for joining" e-mails from sites that you had no intention of joining.
