Nope, as I'm not American. I always found the idea of fraternities very odd and mysterious, like a kind of secret club with those weird names! They sound kinda elitist to me. I don't think I'd have wanted to be in one even if I was American. But I might be wrong, don't know enough about them.

Agree with the previous posters - many thanks for the warning, especially as I was also looking at the site manholelover mentioned - if it's part of the same network I want absolutely nothing to do with it. Glad you got it sorted out in the end, but no way am I joining anything from their network now!
This is why PU is so useful - you've probably saved a few people from the same nonsense already and this will stand as a warning now.

It's awful when a site claims to update regularly and then doesn't. It's an odd business decision because once you join an non-updating site and have downloaded and looked at all you want, there's simply no reason to remain a member long-term.

A simply superb review, well done - extremely thorough and covers everything you could want to know - and gives a real insight into issues you simply don't know about until you join a site, which is the type of review which makes this site so useful.
Entering passwords constantly drives me mad - I hate it! Twice every time is ridiculous! Poor site design.

Sounds like a classically British site! We Brits have such a sense of humour we often find it difficult to take anything seriously - including sex! I notice a lot of British porn has a slight "comedy" element!

This is one site I have yet to join but I have been thinkinhg about for some time, so great to read your review. I am surprised that the matches go on so long and seem professional, I thought it was be more staged and the wrestling more token as a lead-in to the sex.
It does sound really hot, but somehow kink.com just ticks all the right boxes and looks great on paper but is just too poloished and professional for me - the guys just seem too perfect to the real and the high production values, whilst nice, just gives everything a glossy sort of sheen which puts me off a bit. Still, I might give this site a whirl for a month and see how it goes - I'd certainly enjoy watching the live shows!

All models should be treated with the upmost respect at all times and they certainly don't deserve to be treated like that.
However, as long as it is done in a specifically role-playing sense, it can be important for some scenes - and some models into S&M will enjoy it. As long as it is done purely for the camera as a fantasy, I find it hot.
Still, I mainly watch gay porn and I am into S&M porn so I might have a different perspective.
I certainly would hate it if I felt that it wasn't roleplaying/acting and the model didn't want it to happen. It should never be done as a standard part of "normal" porn, it should only be roleplay as part of specialised porn with the models full consent.
Still there's no option for that on the poll - so I chose "other".

I probably did over-react a little to be honest, I'm not normally sensitive or particularly politically correct. I just think she could have said the same thing in a nicer way - I posted the comment quickly after I'd just seen it was still kinda shocked.
Still, whether she likes it or not I know a lot of customers for "for women" sites are actually gay men so I don't think it's a good business plan - I just think there's better ways of putting things but hey nobody's perfect. I am sure some gay sites aren't very welcoming to women either and I probably don't even notice!

Incredible review - and I agree with the previous poster, negative reviews can be even more useful than positive ones.
I had no idea that some sites recycled content like this and passed it off as new - yet another disappointment for me to watch out for - I'm learning a lot from this site! Before I joined PU I didn't evne know some sites were streaming only!
You really go in-depth to warn aboiut a disappointing site. Well done!

I've given up mate - every e-mail I have sent has been replied to with the usual "protect models privacy" nonsense! I keep checking the site to see if they're reviewed the policy but no luck.
Maybe not worth moving abroad for but close - it is such a sexy site! If only there was a way round it, but I can't think of one!

Rate These Guys have achieved the impossible - a genuinely new, fresh genre of porn which I think may actually be unique, at least in gay porn.
The basic concept is that guys submit a minimum number of home videos which must include certain themes ("genres" according to this site - very posh!). These are then displayed on the site for users to rate. Once a week, a certain genre of video is selected. The guy who gets the highest average vote in that genre wins a cash prize.
Users can also submit "challenges" of what they would like the guys to do - guys who attempt them get an automatic cash payment, and an extra cash prize if they win in that category.
I know that this may seem very "staged" and unreal, like many so-called "gay for pay" sites, where the "straight" actors look about as straight as Harvey Fierstein in drag, but to be honest it's either done so well that I can suspend disbelief, or it's at least 90% the real deal. I've only seen one of the models on another site, and that was also a amateur, "gay for pay" site. I'd say the majority are genuinely just ordinary guys looking to make some cash.
The best part of the site is the interaction. As a member you can comment on every video as well as rate it. Guys can and do re-submit improved videos based on your suggestions. One of my suggestions has already been set as a challenge, and all models can see what you've commented on their videos and reply, though not all do.
The flash streaming, at a decent 700x390 size, is smooth and quick with no buffering and slowness. Downloads are WMV and you can choose from 640x360 or 960x540 - they're DRM-free and quite short, so quick to download. Photos have only been added recently and are just screencaps, but are a good size of downloadable JPEGs. Quality is amateur - the lighting and camera angles can be a bit off - but watchable and in keeping with the theme.
The guys are mainly British and white but there's a couple of South American and non-white British guys and new guys are added all the time. All are under 30 but there's a good range of body types and looks.
Overall the site isn't perfect, but it's new and still growing, and the webmaster seems genuinely keen to listen and make a unique concept work, and it's improving all the time. As the site grows, I can see this becoming my first 90-plus site. For now despite the flaws, the sheer sexiness and uniqueness of the site - it's the first site I've intentionally stayed a member of for more than the first month - means it gets a richly deserved 89 - my highest rating so far. |

I've joined this site some time ago and have deliberately delayed my review to see how it developed... enjoyed your review as always but was surprised to see you said it used DRM - the only other reivew site I've found that reviews it (Gay Demon) says it doesn't and I can't see any evidence of it myself as I've used the site - but as I am a current member I'm not sure. What makes you think it uses DRM?
Be good if you updated this review or did a comment if you're still a member to see how it's developed in your opinion - my review should go live very soon.

I don't think I'll ever understand the appeal of photo-only sites, but I can see it's more popular than I expected on this forum and I guess compared to magazines, these sites are good value.
Good review - there seem to be very few equivalent gay sites but I can see how after hardcore video a site like this might be kind of refreshing. I think if a site told me a lot about the person, it might do more for me.
