Often but not always. It really depends on the circumstances. I know this isn't answering the question, or at least it's bad logic, but if the situation is sexual then I find the nudity sexual.
I recall seeing a site (I wasn't a member) where each model had a series of photos where she slowly undressed and then when nude would turn and face different directions. I didn't find anything about that to be sexual or arousing.
Casting scenes are sort of like the above but I do find some of those to be sexual. A good example are the scenes from Woodman Casting. In some of the scenes it really is just a casting with the model being interviewed, undressing and then posing a bit. Those are sexual (for me) in that I like the anticipation of seeing if it will turn into a sex scene. Many of the scenes on Woodman casting do turn into sex but many also do not. Once I've watched a scene once then I find that knowing it turns into sex makes the sterile interview and posing more sexual for me.
Or maybe I'm just confused...

One significant difference that seems to be associated with the French culture (Moncton/Dieppe in NB is the same way) is that women get dressed up just to go to the mall. In English-speaking NB you'd see women at the mall in sweatpants and their hair pulled back and no makeup on. In Moncton/Dieppe women get dressed up just to go to the mall on a Saturday. At least the Francophone women. I found that with Montreal too.

pat, you may be right that no porn performers ever danced in Montreal but I think you've missed the reason why: most women in Montreal are better looking that most porn stars!

According to Ashley (in her book) she didn't use crack cocaine much at all so the differences you explain make sense. One of the most noticeable outward signs of Tanner's descent was how her once-perfect skin became pockmarked.

That's what I heard too.
I recently read Ashley Blue's memoir Girlvert" and was surprised to learn that she was using MASSIVE amounts of cocaine through most of her career. What's interesting is that Ashley's drug use didn't seem to affect her looks or ability to do scenes whereas Tanner's drug use had profoundly negative effects. But I guess that's attributable to the differences between cocaine and meth.

I'm fine with some pubic hair as long as it is trimmed. I don't want to back to the 70s and massive bushes where you couldn't see anything. But overall, my preference is for very little or bare.

Slightly, and only under some circumstances. For example, when she was in her prime I was a huge fan of Tanner Mayes. When I heard that Tanner was going to do an anal scene I was ecstatic, and that's an understatement. But this was towards the end of her career when her drug use was clearly out of control and I chose not to watch a lot of those scenes. But when her few anal scenes were available I had to watch them. It was genuinely sad to see a young woman destroying her life through drugs and it wasn't hard to imagine that porn played a big role in that.
I still have the few anal scenes that Tanner did but I rarely watch them. But I do watch and enjoy her earlier scenes when she is super-cute and not obviously high.
I also gave Tanner a try when she came back briefly. I didn't download any of those scenes because she was utterly out of it in all of them. I prefer to remember Tanner in her earlier scenes.
I honestly hope that she found what she needed and got her life back on track.

In grade 7 me and a buddy found a stash of old magazines dumped on a beach. That started me on this road. Him too, we're still friends and we're both still porn collectors.
The first video was in high school because VHS was just coming into the picture. I lived in a very conservative town so it was a big deal that someone had a porn movie.
The first porn movie that I remember the title was "Candy's Little Sister, Sugar." That was when I was in my late teens.
