I haven't read all the reviews but if the Cosplay Deviants owners have in fact asked their members to post reviews here, it would be fair if reviewers said so and also whether they've been promised something.
I remember another site not so long ago that asked non-paying members to post reviews promising to release some content for free if the site got a good position at PU.

Thanks for your encouragement. You're right that it's hard to find solo model sites that keep up. IMHO, the "recipe" for a solo model site is quite simple: offer at least one new photoset and one video a week and as much "interaction" with the model as possible (active in the message board, candid pictures, regularly updated diary, 3-4 webcam shows a month, reachable by email, schedule).
I am not saying it's an easy job to do it month after month but, if you offer decent quality content and make it reasonably priced, fans should be coming by the hundreds and let their memberships renew month after month.
It seems that very few well-known models realise the potential of their sites. Most don't even do the content part right and the interaction is just a promise on the website tour. I'm not interested in amateur/unpublished/web-only models but I feel they usually have a better understanding on how things work and their sites probably get a much higher percentage of rebills.
In Crystal Klein's case, it's a pity because, as far as I could see, the site used to be a perfect example on how to things properly for maybe 1-2 years but, for reasons beyond my understanding (the model hasn't retired), has settled down for no interaction and providing fewer and fewer updates every month. I remember reading in the message boards that people who had been there for 1-2 years were leaving because the model no longer was hosting webcam shows or posting in the boards.

-Technical issues (but responsive customer service):
--member's area link at signup confirmation page pointed to a blank page;
--site was down (blank page) for 2 days;
--broken links: some galleries, chat (some times), extras gone (games, porn feeds);
--cancelling feedback was not clear enough: had to email customer service to confirm;
--candids section was wiped out by a "server issue" 6 months ago, hasn't come back. |

I didn't know about the model until recently and the impossible and uninformative tour required a leap of faith on my side to join (and a strong desire to see more of her good looks).
When I was finally able to enter the members' area, I felt like the party had just stopped. Reading the forums, it seems that Crystal Klein is very outgoing and that her live chats were very worth attending. The site also had the kind of interaction every solo model site should offer. It's a pity all of it ended eventually and the current Crystal Klein updates are so few (although she is actively shooting new ones).
If I had come across it a year ago, I would have seriously considered staying for some time but, the way it is now, staying for more than a month isn't worth it despite the low price.
Photo galleries are still top quality and the recent ones are few but good and at decent resolutions. It seems that, being managed by Danni.com, they have access to their elaborate sets and are currently shooting there the updates. There are also many good outdoor shoots but also the usual ones at "nudie houses".
The technical issues, though, are hard to understand coming from a site managed by Danni.com / Penthouse. In fact, I was told that it had been delisted at PU/TBP until recently because more people also had the same signup issues. In case they still haven't solved them, make sure you use the home page link to enter the members' area and contact their tech support if anything else arises. |

I'm trying to download a video and I'm experiencing very weird behavior too. I got occasional short bursts at up to 2MB/s at the beginning but now it stays most of the time around 170KB/s. Downloading with a program that supports multiple segments like Firefox's DownThemAll doesn't seem to solve anything.
They recently did a very aggressive promotion so maybe it's not a download limit but that they can't cope with all the new users.

Thanks a lot for you reply. Looks like so far they've made little towards helping non-Spanish speakers understand their site. I've only seen the trailers but I was very much under the impression even those who understand Spanish would be lost with all the references to Spain's culture they made. Good to know they no longer recycle.

Is there some kind of subtitles in English so those who don't speak Spanish may understand what goes on? Has the members forum an English section too? If that's not the case, it could be a con for users who don't understand Spanish.
I used to come by the site to check the trailers back a couple years ago and I remember most of the scenes were in Spanish except for a few that were shot in the US with US porn stars and, even though, they used to ask the model to speak in Spanish or there was Marco Banderas, speaking in Spanish all the time. But I'd say the vast majority of scenes were in Spanish only.
Also, the free tour was recycling scenes quite often. Since you seem to be a long time member, did you notice any scene recycling recently?

Good catch. When you join a MILF site, you don't expect all models to have children in real life but this case is different.
As further proof, some American porn starts I spotted in the free tour: Luscious Lopez as Kumani, Alexis Love as Shanti, Nikara (aka Aurora Jolie) as Ara, Ricki White as Ashari, ... None are known for being "100% Indian" and it's very unlinkely they were "fucked on film for the first time" for this particular site as the tagline claims.

If you go to Dancing Bear home page, the tech support site is aprosupport dot com. Bangbros Network support site home page has a big email address at aprosupport dot com.
It could very well be Bangbros Network is trying to launch a second network like other reality networks have done in recent months.

Regarding the download issues, I've also had them; probably the same as obsessedoverit. I believe that my problem was that they keep changing the file directory structure of the site: the URL a particular video file has now is not the same it will have in an hour. So, after you've added a bunch of videos to download, that automatic directory script may come into action and you end up with a bunch of file not found errors and half downloaded files. It's really annoying and is one of the reasons I cancelled my membership.

The vast majority of Brazzer's Pass current sites cater for the "white porn star with big fake boobs fucked by big cock" niche. It looks like most criticism to Brazzer's Pass for creating Mofos Network has been for the couple sites that overlap with typical Brazzer's Pass content. Day With A Pornstar is perhaps the best example but Can She Take It also has the same problem.
Mofos Network minus this couple sites becomes a different network geared towards other niches like real legal teens (College Bash or Teens At Work) and interracial (Mofos Worldwide or Milfs Like It Black).
Looking at the stars that have the most scenes at Mofos Network it also looks like they are looking for something different: most girls are much younger and have natural tits. There's also a higher percentage of asian or black stars.
So, my wild guess is they want to focus Brazzer's Pass on what they are best known for and try to make something different at Mofos Network.

Absolutely. This site has moved from the Deep Throat niche to the same grey (or white) area all new scenes in this network fall into.
I'm more and more confused every day by this switch in style by Porn Pros Network. The more I think about it, the less I understand why they keep updating the same sites but with completely different styles or, like in DTL case, betraying their previous history.

I'm totally with you in being disappointed :) I've been a member of Porn Pros Network on and off mostly for this site and only because everything revolved around the deepthroat. I even posted a review here back in 2008.
At least, they keep releasing scenes. Even if there's just a short deep throat segment, it's something. It's highly unlikely those who like Jurassic Cock will get a scene in the new shooting style :)

It's probably because of the new shooting style. Check Passion HD or Porn Pros Network recent comments. All scenes look the same and the differences between sites in the network is little.
It looks like scenes in the new shooting style get added to Deep Throat Love when the model is able to deepthroat but it doesn't mean the scene revolves solely around her abilities as it used to be. Just a regular scene.

I've been a member recently and there's a mix of good and bad things. There aren't that many boy-girl-girl scenes (about three in total) and they are currently releasing a scene every 2 weeks instead of weekly. But they are now releasing scenes in HD (see my comment on Porn Pros Network from 02-07-09) and the scenes aren't always so rigid in their structure.
If you enter through Porn Pros Network and go to the Deep Throat Love section, there's a better index of scenes than if you go through this site directly.

-Pictures are small and often show burned colors. There are lots of them but they are not the best asset of this site.
-Camera guy some times talks and gives instructions during scene. I don't really mind it but I know some people hate it.

This site is true to its name. I've checked the free tours from other sites filed under the Deep Throat category and it seems that the current trend is the more the model is humiliated, the better. You won't find that here. Don't get me wrong, there are some really energetic deepthroats, some watery eyes and lots of drool but the girls are almost always the ones that choose the pace of the scene. If they keep releasing Deep Throat Love scenes, I'll probably join back in the future. Pity this network is so damn expensive and slow and they keep bombing you with endless ads for other networks.
The cast is quite stellar and there are lots of known knowns, some even getting several scenes: Mckenzie Miles (3), Annette Schwarz (2) or Sasha Grey (2). There are also a couple of unknown knowns: I really enjoyed Alexis Silver and Maya Hills scenes; both have different but quite interesting personalities. There are also several unknown unknowns aka newbies, mainly among recent updates: it's weird because there are still lots of well known deepthroat-capable models who haven't done a scene yet (Jennifer Dark or Kelly Wells to name just a couple that did a scene recently for another site in the network). A pre-boobjob Daisy Marie is, in fact, the only one that gets far from deepthroating; but her continued and sincere efforts make it one of the most watchable scenes despite her failure. Probably that's why they still released the scene.
My main concern with the site was that the script for the scenes was always the same:
1) short interview with model (pretty interesting to know how models feel about their deepthroat techniques);
2) deepthroat demonstration with banana / sausage / carrot;
3) deepthroat with male talent;
4) 1 on 1 regular sex with several deepthroat interludes.
It's a good script and, for some girls, the interview and demonstration can be as good as the depthroat action. But it's always the same. What's more, the male performer is almost always the same guy; he does a decent job but he can be seen all over the network and, in some scenes, it's clear that the model could handle much more (Annette Schwarz was able to deepthroat Jack Napier in a DVD earlier this year). I was pleasantly surprised to see that yesterday they released their first boy-girl-girl scene. This was something I wanted to suggest in my review. Hope it's a new trend. Some more suggestions: boy-boy-girl, blowjob-only, black female performers (Marie Luv), black male performers.
One last thing: I am not an HD video fanatic but I'd have liked to get more than 512x288 here. I feel, though, that having panoramic image is a good choice for this site. |

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear. What I meant is that everyone sees 14.95 USD at the TBP/PU site but, once you go to the Devil's Film site, they are using regional pricing and you see the price in your local currency: 14.95 GBP in the UK, 14.95 EUR in the EU or 14.95 USD in the USA.
