I would choose to give up the Television. I don't watch it that much any way. While the wife is watching TV every night, I am on youtube, or some other internet based site.
I gave up the land line phone a few years ago, and as lk2fireone said in his response, there are just some practicalities for which a phone of some sort, in my case cell, are needed.
Books and Mags.... I thought long and hard about that one. I have not looked at any kind of magazine (outside of the dentist's waiting room) in years. But I am a confirmed bibliophile. I read many books, mostly historical stuff, but they are still books.
Internet - no ! Without the TV, the internet is how I get the news, weather, email, youtube entertainment. All via the net.

Like Jberryl69's comments, I too have no clue as to what I am supposed to have. Suffice to say that usually I can watch HD videos on youtube with no problem, but I notice that in the evening, prime time, the speed is slower, and yt can not provide streaming video without pausing.
So next I tried the link that like2fireone suggested, and I found that its speed test shows 9043Kb/s download, 783 Kb/s upload and 38ms latencey.
But that was in the middle of the day, I bet it goes to hell at 7pm. And I bet it would be even better at 4 in the morning.
I would gladly trade 10% of my download speed for a doubling of my upload, as I try to post video to YT, and it can be very frustrating to have what I think of as a 10 minute (HD) video take 2 or more hours to upload.

Talking by the camera person may be good or bad depending on the situation, a bit of chat about the model can sometimes help the video. It probably shouldn't overshadow the whole scene, but if it can enhance and help to draw one in or set the scene, then it is good.

Yes! I too use a word processor for my initial building of a review. It usually takes me 3 or 4 days to write everything, even though they are short reviews. I need to think about what I want to say, and then I need to remember more before I post.
But I always find that I need to edit my thoughts all the way to the final point of posting.

The question here in this poll, as one notices lately also with political polls, is "what is the polling methodology, and how are the questions asked?".
The methodology here, is to ask members to respond, that requires some effort on each members part so is somewhat limiting on who will participate, only those of us who want to contribute will answer.
And then there is the measurement issue, of how to decide what it means to "stay over one year", is that to "never use your login id again for a year"? The site, if it keeps records of a user's last login, could track how many users have a last login date over one year old, and compare that to the total number of users. But even that can be misleading, as it would probably be best to limit the total user count to those where their initial sign up date was more than a year in the past, it certainly would not be valid to count someone like me who only signed up a bit over a month ago.
Come back in a year from now to see if I stay active.

Maybe, since I was a newbie at this site, I didn't focus as much on the volume of updates. And since my subscription was to 21Sextreme only, not to 21Sextury, I did not realize that their other site (suite of sites) was updated more frequently.
In any case, as I found that I was not enjoying the site, nor its content, the rate of updating did not seem particularly important to me.
I will however keep your concerns about updating somewhere in the back of my mind, and hopefully remember it in any future reviews that I may write.
Thanks for your comments, it is only by constructive comments that my reviews will improve with time.

I have had access to AW for a month at a time a couple of times. And agree that I liked it better when it was in OZ. But a few of the girls from Europe were to my liking (Gretchen comes to mind).
Not a member right now but will probably go back to see if has gotten better or worse since my last membership. If worse, well that will be my last time. Although, I really do like there "Double Intimate Momemnts", I love watching the girls watch each other masturbate.

This pretty much echos my thoughts on FTV. I had a membership about 2 years ago, and found some very nice videos, etc, but felt that there was just too much repetition of the scenes and I lost interest. It's too bad, because at first I was really enthusiastic about the site. Don't think I would spend the $ to "re-up" unless there was a significant discount. But it might be fun to take one more look, I will have to give it some thought.
