I had the same problem, SINCE my comment of Dec. last year on the same problem, when the webmaster replied. Really very slow download speed just last month. But unlike you, I didn't think about contacting CCBill because they usually just tell you to hold on and sometimes nothing ever gets solved.
So I just didn't have the stomach to put up with all of that. I just clicked to download and sorted snail mail. (I tend to let it pile up.)
They really need to fix that problem, as in F-I-N-A-L-L-Y! And what's become of Glam4Ever? It hasn't updated since June 30th. The only sites that update in that little network now are MyGlamour and ClubSilviaSaint. And the Vendula site is only listed to make it look as if the subscriber is getting more, but her stuff is just part of the updates on MyGlamour.

Come on now. People die - their work lives on. Thus is the entertainment business: Be it porn, movies, music, books, paintings, et cetera. If anything, one could argue that by denying the person's work an audience you are killing their possibility of a legacy. Then your Chloe Jones is just a young woman that died. Most of that is probably true, but my answer is "If you can't do it, don't try to do it and rip your fans off." I also got her a contact with Adriana Sage, a fellow San Diego-based porn babe that runs her own site and, at the time at least, Jana Cova's site, in a very professional manner and could have done the same for Stephanie. I don't believe that has ever happened, so if Stephanie's site is being run in an unprofessional way after numerous fans have tried to give her ways that she could solve the problems, well then there are no more excuses.
I was a big fan of Stephanie. Now, not so much. Besides her site being handled in an unprofessional manner, so are her live performances recently. Quite different to Anna Malle's site (site not listed at PU, btw). She died in a car accident in January 2006. The site still accepts new signups (45USD for 2 months recurring) but the homepage consists mainly of a note on her death and several condolence and remembrance texts from industry people. The note on her death was there almost from the day she died.
IMHO, that's the decent way to do things. Someone may still want to see the content but the site is also a tribute to her and her work.
