As I have told you already, there is no "compensation" paid for reviews ... good or bad. A site cannot pay to get a better score or a better placement in the rankings.
As far as how we cover our costs ... like most free sites, we are paid a commission when people sign up from our links. The difference between us and some other review sites is that we're willing to provide honest info on the sites we list rather than boosting their score in hopes of getting more sign-ups.
As far as how we operate ... What I was suggesting was that if you had observed us you would realize that our main interest is in building long-term trust from our users. We work at this by providing honest, accurate info on the sites we list. This is kind-of addressed in #3 of "the Reviews" section of the TBP FAQ.
Regular users also know that the remarks and reviews at PornUsers are provided by users such as yourself. While we can suggest a scoring system we don't actually have any say in what score a user assigns.

Not to bash your remarks but, that you would suggest it shows you really haven't spent much time at PU to understand how we operate.

I have some clips from the 20's, some of them in surprising resolution for their time. Those definitely qualify as ancient.

I think one of the main reasons why this site is more popular or at least higher rated than RK or Evil Angel is that you are getting access to older porn that may not be available elsewhere or only available on streaming only sites. One of my annoyance with EA is the fact that you only get a portion of their older library. There is still some great porn being made today but I much prefer the stuff that was made 10 or more years ago.
I don't think that you are not the right type of customer for PN and that is fine because you still have some great sites that you can join.

I can't say I've ever signed up there, but I can certainly understand why some people would like it. If they're anything like me, the big networks don't offer much to their liking. First and foremost, I can't stand fake tits, followed very closely by my dislike of piercings. On top of that, gonzo porn doesn't do much for me either. From what I've seen in previews, the heavy hitters in the industry are chock full of all that crap. Maybe the high scores show that the time machine this site offers is a welcome break from the mainstream.
I have to say, I got a little chuckle out of your calling 10-year-old material ancient. (Odd sense of humor, I guess.) Ancient to me would be the classics, the 70s stuff, maybe some 80s. If there were decent sites that could bring a ton of that back to life, I'd have to have a look at those!

Access to those older titles is one of the reasons that I like PSN. My concern about PSN is the opposite of yours - that they'll run out of stuff from the 1990s to upload.
