Rotating updates of poor quality material and offering a 96% discount when you go to cancel? This is the first thing that popped into my head when I read all of that:
"We don't have any better quality content and we're not updating anymore, but can you stick around and pay us a little something every month anyway?
For that reason alone, I think a score of 60 is generous as hell.

Yes, those differences between one pic and the next are pretty subtle. Looks more like the work of a crime scene photographer sometimes, if you know what I mean.

Yes, I was intrigued by this a couple of years back.
I tried it, but whilst I liked the premise & the intent of the site, I found the execution woeful & it came over as being somewhat lazy.

Excellent review - sounds like they know they have a pretty unique niche so they're exploiting that which is sadly quite common. The price isn't outrageous but the "rotating content" model is - I wouldn't mind it so much but they seem to be using it as an excuse not to offer as many updates, which I don't think is fair.
I've certainly never come across this type policy before and it looks a pretty blatant attempt to keep you subscribing - if only sites would realise that treating customers well and providing regular fresh material is the best way to do that!
Oh well, good review.

Hi Mort, I wasn't aware of any of that cross checked sales foolishness going on but it's been a long time since I subscribed. I took out a long term subscription and still have a couple of months to go. That's normally a no-no and we like to warn other PUs about it. As to sharing a link to a cheaper subscription ... I would consult with Khan about that because this act would most likely by-pass TBP and rob them of revenue. At least that's the way I see it.
PS. Just saw Khan's reply so you have your answer already. :-)

No, not really. We've had some problems in the past with users sharing links that the site did not intend to be shared beyond where they offered it.
BTW, I'm guessing you missed the red warning on the listing page here that says, "Beware of Pre-Checked Cross-Sells!"

Yes there is evidence of some changes going on.
It is still primarily a pics site, & none the worse for that IMO.
The number of photosets per update is fine for me, but I do agree the pics are overly large now.
My main gripe is the number of pics.
Often they are about 250 pics per set, when 100 would cover the same ground perfectly adequately.
I think things are improving but it is still slow & not all the changes are for the better.
