The listing has now been corrected.
It appears they've changed the setup since they were first listed.
They do all log into the same member area, but you can then access each site and its content from the central location ... the network area.

That is a valid point - essentially the decision has already been made. I'll have to reconsider my score, perhaps it needs to be adjusted. Hell, I've been planning on adjusting all my scores to a less finite measurement anyway - maybe now is the time to do that :-P
Well thanks for sticking it out, many people run away from arguments (discussions, debates, et cetera) these days - it is always nice to run across other people who enjoy the activity. I'll admit I often have the habit of arguing another side just for the sake of arguing, it isn't in my nature to concede an opposing party's argument :-D

I agree, one could worry about a slipper slope mentality to separating site niches to be rated amongst themselves - it could quickly become confusing. However, there is a single difference between the adult 3D games and the other sites reviewed on Porn Users that I believe negates this argument. The games are an entirely different medium, sure both can be viewed on a computer monitor, but the games are an interactive experience that requires user input. If there were more companies dedicated to producing adult games, I would recommend that sites like 3D Sex Games not be allowed to be review on Porn Users as it isn't a passive entertainment medium, like videos, photos and stories. That interaction that changes the experience at the users request makes it in many ways tougher to review.
I will grant you it is related, you are still viewing porn, but I think the experience is significantly enough different that it makes it quite difficult to compare. Separating "ATM from Anal", as you suggested is like saying you only review Hollywood comedies and not SciFi, or station wagons and not sedans (estates and not saloons, for our UK members). They are the same medium and narrowing down by niche that much on a user review site could be trouble.
Still, it is difficult to decide where to draw the line. For at the same time, despite being of different mediums, both an adult content website and an adult video game are trying to provide you with pornographic entertainment, so in that sense they are related. How they try to entertain you is significantly different, but the goal is largely the same.
On the other hand, I suppose I may have simply enjoyed messing about in 3D Sex Games more than you did. As you said - that is what the site is for. I hardly think the game is perfect, but I do think it is quite a laugh and a great time waster. I've said in the past that the numeric score is the most dreaded part of the review for me, I fight with myself over it for hours - in the end, perhaps I got it wrong on this one. I don't know. I would recommend the site to most people, but I'd certainly recommend MET-Art more. It is tough - I wish we just used a bloody 5 star rating system, lol

I'll agree with you that the human reaction to the animation and design of the models is better in Active Dolls - they are simply far more endearing. At some points the models and animations of 3D Sex Games suffers from falling into the Uncanny Valley. I had latched on to your statement of the "3D Game Engine", which generally ignores the aesthetic of the animation and model design, instead referring to the technological architecture that makes it possible. In that regard I would say the games are relatively equal - and far surpassed by 3D Stripper.
As for the rating, I personally see this as such a different animal from other adult sites that it seems difficult if not impossible to compare it with the likes of VideoBox or MET-Art. How does one give Pac-Man a rating in relation to Ghost Busters the movie? Both have plots involving the removal of ghosts, but they are so different that the scores wouldn't make any sense. "Buy a Ford Mustang, it has more moving parts than a banana."
I believe that if a user is contemplating joining a 3D adult game site - they are looking for just that, a fully interactive 3D game, not just any form of adult entertainment. In that regard I think both 3D Sex Games and Active Dolls are among the best available choices and deserve high marks.

I've used 3D Sex Games for years, so the control issue was never an issue for me, but I see how it can be deemed confusing. However, of all the sex simulation games I've encountered, I personally found it to be the best. With only the mouse, you can control every aspect of the game. Moving / rotating / zooming the camera, switching poses, modifying the speed of the action (or directly controlling it) - all these can be done on the fly without finding any keyboard keys. There is a bit of a learning curve, but compared to other programs that have the characters trying to walk around or keys needing to be pressed in conjunction with mouse movement to simply zoom out - I find 3D Sex Games' control system far superior.
I would agree that the animation leaves something to be desired, especially facial animation - it is all hand animated, and while that provides a certain fluidity to the repetition of the action, it doesn't provide it with as much natural movement. Mo-cap might aid it, though I've seen mo-cap fail as well.
I've very surprised to see your preference for the graphics provided by Active Dolls. Their models are far stranger looking - not remotely human (more Anime styled), it only supports 4 different video resolutions (1280 x 1024 not being one of them) and texturing and lighting are quite simplistic - I would say on par with 3D Sex Games. I would totally understand if you stated 3D Stripper had a superior graphics engine, as it does. Projected shadows, bump mapping, a 3D model body & face designed by the same guy that designed the faces for Final Fantasy: Spirits Within. That game has many problems of its own though.
I guess I see 3D Sex Games as having the largest selection of options and activities of all the games while having reasonably good graphics and a somewhat regular update schedule. All in all, in my opinion, this makes it the best of games available and I graded it as I did in relation to the performance of its peers.

I haven't read anything about them using mo-cap for their movements, however they are pretty damn good. Sometimes you will some clipping issues, an elbow passing through the floor or if using two female models with large breasts, the breasts sometimes will pass through each other. But the actually movements are very smooth and even have a bit of variability built in to give the illusion of random movement. It as natural as most Anime - so not really human exactly, but smooth enough to make it interesting to watch.
The clipping problems can be an issue, but generally they don't show up too much, and its better than the other programs I've used. They often don't transition between positions because the models will have to move to a different part of the room, or flip over. So there's definitely room for improvement, but the movement is pretty good. I believe you can download a demo try out the program and see what you think.
I wish they upgraded the textures for high resolution machines and ironed out all of the clipping issues and maybe added threesomes - but hey, one step at a time I guess.

I've tried PlaySexGame, 3D Playmate, Virtual Hottie 2, eGirl and Dream Stripper - as well as 3D Sex Games of course. 3D Sex Games is by far and above the best - the only games that I've seen rival or best them come out of japan - and they have to be heavily modified by users to make them uncensored.
3D Playmate is really awkward to use and falls easily unto the "Uncanny Valley" as certain motions are very unnatural (Virtual Hottie 2 has this problem too with a characters jaw moving or other strange movements) - 3D Sex Games avoids this problem with better movement and an approximated Anime look that makes the models easily attractive.
PlaySexGame is a great start but the graphics are quite low res and use basically no 3D acceleration as it takes place all in browser. Plus there is only one model that you simply drop into various situations - though you can change clothes, hair, et cetera. If they made a stand-alone program that took advantage of the powerful gaming machines out there - then they'd have something.
Virtual Hottie 2 tries and fails miserably - the user interface is terrible and it really isn't efficient in its code - I had trouble running it and my computer can crush games like COD4. I had high hopes for this game, but alas it was really just a test of your patience using it. Plus the login system was a pain in the ass.
Dream Stripper - amazing graphics, simply the best. But it is just a stripping game, plus the transitions between moves can be rough - the model will sometimes slide along the floor without moving her feet to get over to the pole, or sometimes instantly appear in a different position. Some of this has been fixed in the new version I've heard, plus they have more than one model now.
eGirl is a wonderful idea, mo-cap (Dream Stripper uses mo-cap too) capable of super high-res graphics, advanced textures and lighting and so on. It basically featured one model stripping and masturbating, with plans for multiple models later. They have been stuck in development forever - who knows if they'll ever make significant progress.
So 3D Sex Games provides semi-regular updates, isn't creepy as hell, runs relatively well (that had some bugs a while back, but it is out of Beta now), has multiple models and so on. The only sad thing is they got rid of their super cheap price so now it is back to $30 a month, which makes it a bit harder to justify.

But only ONE girl - that's a downer.
Wish there were more sites like this - but with several types of girls - guess there is a lot of work (and expences) in creating stuff like that.

Clone, no ... that would be a stand-alone site (on its own domain) that's a copy of another site. When the site actually redirects, then it doesn't qualify for a separate listing.
In this specific case ...
I've asked a TBP Editor to take another look at this one. If the site does indeed exist as a separate entity (even if part of a network) then we should be able to re-list it.

I have no idea how reliable those stats are, nor what market segment they apply to. We know that 100% of our subscribers have JS enabled.
People without JS enabled are not actually able to join the site - we test before people join, so they know before they pay that JS is required. If a user turns off JS after subscribing, we show a message saying that JS is required. More to the point there's no reason NOT to enable JS (unless you're using a text-only browser, where poorly programmed JS can mess with stuff, but in which case you have no need of my site!)
If you choose not to join our site because JS is required, that's fine. We feel JS is necessary to run a successful site, but certainly not everyone agrees with us. It seems that you don't - which is fine. We seem to have plenty of people who don't care about JS, and just want to enjoy our site, so we'll spend our time ensuring they have the best experience possible!

Different sites combat the problem in different ways, and not all sites are subject to the same level of abuse as we are (more popular sites are).
You have not actually said (I think?) what the specific nature of your problem is? Our customer support staff have no reason to lie - if you're the only customer experiencing the problem, then that would be the case.

I am not sure if you're complaining about our site, or adult sites in general, or just websites in general?
I can only speak for my site. We need to keep it secure. If we don't hackers get in and break it, which means the whole site goes down for hours and NO ONE can get on.
So rather than let that happen (which pisses of tens of thousands of people), we instead put a small amount of the onus on lots of people - spreading the load. That means that sometimes, it's annoying for some people, but it's pretty rare.
Not sure if you're aware, we have 24/7 customer support, and every issue is responded to by a real person in a matter of minutes. Most tickets are resolved in the first communication.
So sure, it's annoying, but that's life in the big bad world...

Yes I did contact them both times about the issue: they simply reply that they have no control on the content of the website and that they notified the malfunctioning to the technical group or the website itself. I doubt it has any effect, since it keeps not working at all.

And several of the movies that are on the site are of the same guy in the "mask". Probably a friend of the guy running the site. This reoccuring guy supposedly is dating Allaura Eden and has been in scenes outside of "The Mask" scene. Not your Average Joe that enters this contest I would say.
