It is kinda crazy how many sites get beat up by the accelerator, I almost never use it these days. I actually have to remember to turn acceleration back on when I download from big servers to get a game demo (or a patch from Microsoft - damn their servers are fast!). I suppose not all porn sites can run on huge super servers, ah but one can dream... lol

This time I'll react just for the negs:
Updates: we are thinking of making the smaller sites into a network. We know about the update problems, but Dorothy is busy with other projects, its hard to book her these days.
Bad content: we definitely need to select and sort out the LQ content... task scheduled!
DL manager support: contacted our coder about this; he replied: with "Free Download Manager" it works flawlessly on all our sites.
Login problems: This is not the first review/comment mentioning this problem. Task scheduled, I will report you on changes.
Small archive: it can be improved by making the network mentioned above...
Old content: we are thinking of making an exclusive archive and a separate non-exclusive archive for all the sites. This could solve the disappointing problem.
I am very impressed by the comment on our support. I know that I made promises in the name of the company which were never realized. I am doing my best to make a pressure on the leaders, because I am not the one who is making the decisions, most of the time I am just transmitting information between members and the head of the company.

I know there's a LOT to improve on this site I'll discuss the negs point by point with Cash3x crew.
Here are my remarks:
Update frequency: Yes, this could be more often. Or if its not possible, like many other sponsors, Cash3x should give access to the other sites of the network, it could help the rebills too.
Quality: I will research this very well and I will ask for immediate removal of all "below average" movies/content. This can very badly effect our reputation, I know what kind of feeling is when you start to play a video file what you find interesting before and you become turned off because of the low quality.. :(
Download manager support: we'll develop this part asap. It's a shame. :O But in some days/weeks it will be allright I am sure. And also on the other 4 sites I'll make sure they will be fine tuned as well.
Exclusivity: I will discuss this with the owners, its very important to advertise the site with 100% accuracy, I'll check TBP as well what they say about our exclusivity. I hope Cash3x does not have any ads with saying DB site is 100% exclusive. :)
Old content: same as LQ content. It must be removed. I think its better if you have fewer but top notch stuff than tons but disappointing.
Thanks again for your honest opinion, once we are ready with some upgrades I happily send you a monthly membership as a gift to check again.

Hello Hello!
If you open the site, at each one of the updates there is a streamed trailer with a big play icon, and on the right side, there are transparent icons. Which icon of these is highlighted, that is true for the set. From up to the way down you can see the following:
- HD Shot
- Video
- Foto [maybe it should be Photo]
- 360 [rotateable, looks very good!]
Maybe you mean if you click on "Gallery" than you see a list of thumbs - it works like an update log - and here its true that you can not see from outside what kind of content it will be. I report this to the site development team ASAP!

The site is part of the US-based Taboo Service who has Only 3X as main site.
They handle their costumers ok, apart from a former billing-situation with Verotel. I do not know if it is Taboo or Verotel that made the shitty thing about luring people into more expensive terms - but it's worth to keep an eye on these sites.
I've look into The Dorothy Black-site, but I have the feeling that this is just some other part of Only 3X...
If I'm wrong, please inform me.

Hi, Davit, yes, it's true, it would probably be more apropriate to say that Sandy "does not get involved in boy/girl action anymore". You are right that some girl/girl action can be harder and nastier than a soft boy/girl shag. However, it's quite usual to identify hard-core with b/g and softcore with "solo" or g/g action, and that's the meaning I was looking for.

Agreed. Although I don't know about "artificially high" seems like on the sites I like, I am consistently 5 points higher than TBPs reviewer. And I'm sure not getting any kickbacks.

There are negative comments like that about the latest model (#187 in their catalog): that her skin isn't as smooth as that of others and that she's not as passionate about the shoot as she could be. Not one of the best videos, etc. etc. To me, that's a slap in the face of the model and makes me wonder what she did to cheese off the videographer / webmaster! Why not let us make up our minds on what's attractive and what isn't. I hate to see models insulted like that and won't resubscribe despite the high praise I gave the site in my remarks.

Good review, Davit. I agree with most of what you wrote. The only thing I don't understand is that not only you but other reviewers as well refer to this site as an "ass site." I've downloaded tons of video segments since subscribing and very few contain pure "ass" material.
Could it be it's because I might be using the "search" button more frequently than others? It gives you clear choices there. I steer clear of "ass" because it's not my thing and still have loads of videos to pick from. I'm starting to develop a panty stuffing fetish! :-) One other point, when it comes to some of the models being too detached, there's plenty of evidence in the close-up pussy shots that not all are left indifferent!

Yes, I agree that the repeated lines, whether they're hyperbole or hypoperbole (?), can get a bit tiresome. Guess I'm so jaded that I just gloss over them.
And I also prune down the sets when things get to being too much the same, or too pre-med, or of course when the girl has a weird or pissy look on her face. That last one doesn't happen often at The Crack, fortunately. (Twistys is another site that suffers from excessive similitude in photosets.)
Well, there's hardly ever a set that I don't toss pics from, wherever it comes from. Blurriness, what-were-they-thinking croppings, big-ass babe covered by bigger-ass watermark, etc. Those are directed to the bin.

One thing I'd like to add to Davit's comprehensive review is the amount of annotation done for the videos. Those notes have really helped me to decide which videos I wanted to download. And they're very frank, such as the notes on the ass massage of Michaela Fenclova (Evelin at TheCrack) being done with male hands, which some may not like.
Very few sites include this much in the way liner notes, tune by tune.

That getting pixelly, as you call it, is called ghosting - something I've yet to see eliminated on any LCD monitor. Damn shame the powers that be (capitalist marketing) won out and sold us all on flat screens. I tried like hell to find a large CRT monitor that's hi-def but they just don't seem to make 'em anymore. Maybe someone following this thread has seen one online somewhere?

32" 1080p monitor/tv here. Believe me, you won't be disappointed if you've got hi-def. But make sure you've got the processor to run the 1920 vids. I'm overclocked - running at 3.6 ghz - and I sometimes have to reboot to keep them from running smoothly. Seems I'm settling for the 1280 resolution - but they look GOOD!

Useful review, thanks - repetitiveness in these super-niche sites is a real difficult hurdle - though I must say the unique nature of this site's content has me intrigued. I hadn't realized until today that they had gotten rid of the Token system (I know, I'm behind on that one) - I've been rather interested in the site for awhile, so I may have to join now that it has been unleashed.
I took a quick ganger (the action, not the waterfowl) at their "What's New" page and I think the best answer to your question about update regularity is one video and two photo sets per week, with a little bit of wiggle room... It would be nice if they put a date on the coming soon stuff though.

The thing I said about the site objectifying women was meant to be kind of tongue-in-cheek, if you'll pardon the expression. An ardent feminist (in the "received wisdom" sense) might point to the site as the perfect example, but I think the site just reflects an honest, natural love for beautiful women and their lovely behinds. Nobody's ever going to make me feel guilty about that.
There was a survey that came out of England fairly recently that showed that men choose women based on their looks more than any other reason, and that women choose men based on their wealth more than any other reason. It's no surprise. But in the received wisdom, do we see men complaining about being treated as financial objects?
Robin Williams once said that "divorce" is from an old Latin term meaning "rip a man's wallet out through his genitals." It gets laughs because it resonates with the truth! We ARE treated as financial objects, sometimes quite ruthlessly. We just don't organize and have conventions about it, and the reason, I think, is that we know there are more enjoyable ways to spend our time. Besides, it's simply unmanly to whimper and complain.
And if porn objectifies women, it perhaps does even more so to men. The survey "Do you care about the 'looks' of the male talent in porn scenes?" has users saying that in hardcore scenes the men are just props! If that isn't the language of objectification, I don't know what is.

Thanks for all of the comments, Davit. I wrote that review back when the token system was in place, and at that time I gave it a 70. I've only been able to change the "addendum" part in the "post review" area.
I raised the score to 83 since having rejoined now that the token system is gone. I think it's a pretty fair score considering the update frequency, the pic sizes (really wish they'd go beyond 1800 - 2200px), and the price.
I agree with you that there's a lot of repetitive stuff in the galleries but it is a matter of taste and preference. Sometimes I don't mind it at all, and sometimes I get tired of it. It is one way for people to “soak their brains,” in ass, I guess.
The videos get pretty repetitive, too, for that matter. But sometimes my horny reptilian brain don’t care ‘bout ‘dat. Susana Spears can walk, crawl, and play with her civilization-threatening booty to the end of time. Yes, I’ve been downloading loads of vids myself.
I did describe in detail in the review how the photos are so often "either full-body length with the woman’s face buried in a mass of hair, or just the ass all by itself, nearly every single time!" This is my biggest gripe: very few head to upper thigh shots lying face down. I wish they'd get out of their "rut" (a-hem) and have such shots in every new gallery at least. Every ass worshipping site should have them, IMHO. And they can get VERY repetitive with those!! Ha-ha!
Anyway, I can tell you're quite in love with the site. I've had an on/off relationship with it since Nov. ’04. We’ll probably disagree about some things, but I think we can agree that InTheCrack’s on the up now and is probably the best ass site out there. Here’s to it getting even better – from one ass-crazy man to another.

I should also state that, as said by some others, this site no longer uses the token system of purchasing movies. You now simply pay your monthly fee ($35 right now, which is a little dearer than average, but I think worth it) and you have access to over 135 sets at the time of writing.
But it doesn't stop there. Each set often consists of anywhere from 1 to half a dozen 'subsets' - in other words, you click on a set's link, and suddenly you're presented with anything up to 6 full movies of the same girl, and occasionally even more (each split into smaller parts).
So I have to say this site is actually excellent value.
All movies are available in at least 640x360 (my preferred option here - it's reasonably detailed, doesn't take up too much disk space, and doesn't tax my processor too hard) and many are available in HD (files are huge though). It's a shame that 960x540 isn't offered, as that is my favourite res as it's damn near HD, but files aren't so big and my processor doesn't stutter when playing them. But 640x360 is still quite good IMO, obviously a step up from 21 Sextury's 400x300 ones.
I love that there isn't a huge emphasis on dildos - they do feature here and there, but fingers are used more, to finger and pull open those ass holes and pussies for the camera in the sexiest way imaginable.
I'll be writing a proper review with a score once I've fully assessed all the site's content. At the moment I'm thinking late-80s - even early 90s, as the site offers a style I have not seen elsewhere and am thoroughly enjoying. But I only joined today, so who knows how this may change.
