from Denner:
Generally I certainly agree with with our new fellow PU, ByteMaster.
The definition of the concept: EXCLUSIVE is getting to a point where things seems to be influenced by a still worse economy in the way of experiencing new AND socalled "exclusive" material on a lot of sites.
We're all seeing more and more licensed stuff on TOO many sites. Licensed material may be all right to a certain degree, but in the final aspect it means, that we users join sites where we can risk spending our money twice (or more) for the same stuff...
We've been around this subject before, but since ByteMaster brings it up, I think its a good idea to mention to the site-owners, that this policy is or can be a matter of some sort of inflation - if sites keep up this policy, it'll problably result in loosing a lot of PUs and others as costumers...

Depending on how much Eve Angel content you have, Teen Dreams also has several sites from her own site that they list as exclusive! Sadly, her site also lists them as exclusive. One of the top of my head is the one in a kitchen, it is on both sites as exclusive and some of the Eve videos are also from the official Eve Angel site.
I mention this just on the heels of another member here PinkPanther, telling me that Teen Dreams has content of a model named Sara on Teen Dreams, but listed as Sasha on Babelicious and Babelicious, lists her content as exclusive to their site, but it is the same content that Teen Dreams has. It gets confusing to say the least. One thing I have noticed a lot of sites doing is the "exclusive to this site's network", Teen Dreams has a Teen Dreams network that says it is exclusive content of 10 or 11 models, but nearly all of the content comes from Teen Dreams. Confusing indeed, not really drama queening at all, I hate joining sites that make me think I am getting something new only to realize I have it from another site.

We might as well throw in JustTeenSite, Stunners, and Euro Pornstars, and the list probably doesn't end there.
I've gotten to the point where I'll go to TeenDreams and Twistys for their exclusive content, knowing that I'll have to pass over stuff I've seen from some of the other sites.
Babelicious is sometimes OK because their pic sizes are larger and the same goes for Euro Pornstars and JustTeenSite. And Stunners tends to have really high quality pics. But I don't sign up for these sites very often.
So it's a matter of picking one or two sites that you like, and saying to heck the rest for the most part, IMHO.
And as for the watermarks, I guess that's one reason why I don't like Karupspc -- they get on the models there too much.
Anymore, claims made by sites of being "exclusive" are just noise to me. I'm my own judge of that aspect, period.

from Simon of Scans:
It's err, complicated.
1 We're based in the UK so have to charge our sales tax (VAT) - currently its 15%, though its only just recently changed from 17.5%. - but we only have to charge it surfers from within the EU.
USA and the rest of the world - no VAT
2 There's no system in place with any billing company (that we've ever found!) to correctly account for VAT when paying out to affiliates.
You may or may not know about the affiliate payout system, so here's the skinny; We pay other webmasters to promote our sites, and it's the industry standard of 50% of the headline signup cost.
So, to keep things simple we ALWAYS pay the full 50% regardless of surfer location. This means we make a lot less on some surfers than others! Worst case from the full 100% we loose 50% affiliate payout, 17.5% VAT, 10% creditcard processing fee - which leaves us with 22.5% of the original signup fee.
In essence we charge more in the EU as our costs are higher, simply because of the VAT.
The "extra" money charged ends up mostly in the hands of the government as VAT, either directly, or because we have in effect covered the VAT costs for the affiliates half of the transaction. Very little extra ends up in my helicopter/yacht fund!
I did porn to meet girls, now I know about tax, this was not the way it was meant to be :(

I got a $5 discount for their Mature site thru the discount site the webmaster above mentioned. Saw they also had discounts for ATK, so I am going to try out Galleria again this week using the $5 off.

Well, the typing speed impressed me, I must say. And if they're offering a discount, hiring warm bodies isn't going to serve the bottom line. Yeah, I'm really itching!

Sure as Simonscans is a different company I'd suggest that you try to contact them. It would be interesting to see what they respond!
I'll double-check with my favourite site for young women doing fisting, peeing and crazy insertions :-)

I contacted AllOver30 today and they replied within a few hours time - when I've send my mail it must have been night time for them. I can now tell you that they start business early in the morning :-).
As soon as I stated that there was an issue with the price appearing in € they asked me to give them more details and less then an hour later I was asked to double-check if I see the price in $ again!
They told me that even though they did not want to have the "regional" or "optimal pricing option" enabled there was a problem with European pricing which has been resolved today.
I'm quite happy because I was shocked to see a site that I trust so much in has this enabled on their join page.
Oh, and b.t.w. I don't get paid by them nor do I get any other benefits. It's just that I like this site a lot and especially some of the ladies they have to offer :-)

Yeah, I'm sure it's kind of like robbing Peter to pay Paul in some sense. It comes down to whether in the site operator's judgment it's a better or worse idea to have these pricing differentials. If the non-dollar subscribers saying "We're not going to take it" reaches a critical mass, then the site operators will have to adjust. It's a brutal environment these days on both sides.
Thanks for the alexa tip! I don't have time to figure it out yet, but I've bookmarked it.

I remember the mid-80's when the US dollar was really strong and I was in a business that depended a lot on international sales. Our volumes shrank and we had to cut prices and operating costs just to survive, which we fortunately did.
People complained anyway.

Your welcome. In case you don't hear back from DDF in the next week or so, I should point out there is a forum thread ("Best / Worst Customer Service") that you could post in. Sometimes webmasters browse through here and that might ring a bell for someone at DDF.

I mailed the owner of one of my favourite sites in order to see what they think about that. I wonder who came up with this ...
Right now this means an extra of 57% compared to the price in $ when they charge me in Euros. That's way too much and it drives me crazy!

Sorry to hear about that man. It is a good site. I've never had any problems with the DDF sites so I can't vouch for how good the customer service is or is not (although "not" sounds more like it).
The "brute force" message that comes up suggest that your ip address may be blocked mistakenly or otherwise. Have you tried logging on from another server address?
My only other advice is to keep trying the DDF email. If that doesn't work, you may have to take the slightly embarassing step of contacting your credit card company to contest the charges but, $30 is $30.
