Well they are from the same company, DDF. So I'm sure you will get the same quality or better than HOH.
I think they put the most effort into 1by-day.
I've been to the other sites, and they are not as well maintained as 1by-day, although I have not been to those sites in a little while to compare right at this time. However, sweet-models has been changed into EuroTeenErotica, so I suspect that particular site has improved. Not sure, have not accessed the new site.
Whats important to point out is that the other sites, like 1by-day, reproduced content from known DVDs. e.g. the "Just 18" series from Swank. So the fact that 1By-Day completely eliminated all this content (the archived content I spoke of in my review) and dedicated the site to completely original and exclusive content makes me believe they are doing the same for the other sites.

Unfortunately, this is not as easy a thing to count as with my review of KarupsPC.
KarupsPC clearly distinguishes HC and SC stuff. There are two separate links, two pages, and two easily countable lists.
1By-Day does not distinguish between them, rather adding everything to one big update pool, which would require too much of my time to count.
If I had to estimate..................
Maybe 25% = b/g hardcore
Maybe 25% = solo
Maybe 50% = g/g hardcore
Again, just an estimate.
I think since the change from the old content to the new content there has been more of a focus on hardcore b/g. The archived content pre-July-2007 was more solo and glamor lesbian, less hardcore g/g and b/g. Its been the other way around as of recent.

I've never streamed from VB, but if their streaming is as good as their downloads I have no reason to think it isn't great. My recollection is that they have several streaming quality options too. My suggestion, though, is that if you have the harddrive space why not download? The ability to stream will end with your membership but the downloads at VB have no DRM so they're yours forever. I realize that many people have various reasons for wanting to stream but consider downloads from there since they're available for the same membership price.

I think in a lot of cases using that option would make sense. Obviously a lot of that is subjective in the sense of how many times will you stream it again. If the option is the $2 48-hour streaming or $5 48-hour streaming that would have some impact. This is also a bit subjective, but I think there's a lot of objectivity too - that's considering the bitrate options available to you. A lot of the $2 rentals are older and offer a maximum of a 512k bitrate. That's pretty low quality. I accepted that so I could see a few older titles that I wanted to see, but the quality is so poor I'm not sure I'd go back to watch it again. But... if it's a movie you'd watch again and again and there are higher bitrates available then I think that could be a good option.
As I said in my review though, make sure to check the other main VOD sites for the same title. You might be able to get a better quality video for less cost at one of the others. In case you're not familiar with the other VOD sites, some of the bigger ones that you should check are Adult DVD Empire, Adultempire.com, HotMovies, DownloadtoOwn, Gamelink and Sugar VOD. (Two things about Adult DVD Empire and Adultempire.com: 1) they're affiliated but make sure to check them both because they have different pricing structures, and 2) there is a disreputable site called Adult Empire. Make sure you're on the VOD site. Entering Adultempire.com in your browser should get you to the right site.)

I still have some of the content from this site and it seems that most of it, he jerks himself, which is kind of strange since he is also holding the camera. Back before I joined it, I checked out Tiave dot com and did a search for the site name. They had 10+ pages of samples from it, if you wanted to check out the content that way.

I think the models go in age cycles. Back about 5 years ago, the Euro models were dominating the teen category or the 18-22 category of models, while the American models were getting in that near 30 range. Now, it seems like the American models are dominating the teen group and the top Euro models are nearing 30. Of those Euro models, Eve Angel, Sandra Shine, Cameron Cruise, Sandy from Club Sandy, Aneta Keys, Angel Dark, just to name a few. Going by that, I do tend to favor the Euro sites like pix and video, club sandy, 1byday, and twistys has a large collection of all ages, xisty is another good one. Just don't pay too much attention to listed ages of some of the Euro models. I know that Eve Angel is going on 26, I've seen her listed as low as 19 recently. Sandra Shine I think is 27. And those usually are the sites I join every few months. You would think someone would come up with a niche site of models that were around 30 since we have a teen niche and mature niche. Hope that helps.

I agree. I joined PU two years ago and have grown to appreciate very much when a webmaster participates in discussions and responds to issues in a positive and constructive way.
As far as I'm concerned a site whose webmaster participates in a Porn User discussion like this warrants serious consideration for my hard earned money.

Very good point. We did have the site part of the Brainpass but our parnership with the content provider is unfortunately discontinued... All this to say xxxpornparties as well as pornweekvacations are now re-directing to Brainpass.
In other words, these 2 sites are no longer available. We are sorry for the inconveniance. They were never popular sites, so it shouldn't affect many people. You still get over 50 sites when you join Brainpass.com
Those 2 sites had only just a few scenes each. So, the member doesn't really lose any value in his membership!
This being said, I'll make sure to hit up porn billy to make sure they make the changes on their site to avoid any more confusion.

Oh, so not only their marketing, but also their programmers went downhill recently; doesn't look too good for them :-(. Still, if they refunded money, it's not a bad sign (most of the sites won't bother at all with refunding and even with answering e-mails these days :-(( ).

I'm shocked that you got any response from their customer service at all, let alone a refund.

Yes, but it is mostly regular updates to the other sites in the network. Catalina's site on its own has been updating about once a fortnight.
They have added 2 more sites to the network in the past few months (Sandra Romain and Lela Star)

I went to Google to see if anyone else is having the same problem, and the only solution I saw was to play the files using VLC. But that was only after digging through half a dozen sites. Codec problems can be tough to figure out. I'm fortunate enough to have a bunch of video players and video editting software that install codecs so I rarely have to deal with such things. All that to say, I really don't know what to tell you to do other than search the forums and maybe even join one so you can post your problem for others to answer.

You could also try opening the files with the Gspot codec app. It should be able to tell you the file type and what codecs were used to encode them - including the audio.

I don't know what that is. What you could try is---make a copy of the file, and place it in another folder, then try to rename the extension to .wmv---but only do this with a copy, keep the original.
