Pros: - Huge site (7000+ videos) - Photos and videos - Several resolutions offered - Updates daily - Good navigation and search functions - Allows download managers - TBP/PU discount Cons: - Wide gap in file sizes between medium and high resolution - Download speeds vary but are mostly slower than average - Primarily a solo girl site Bottom Line: I’ve been an active internet porn buyer for more than 15 years and I had to ask myself why I’d never joined Twisty’s since it seems to be one of the larger and more popular sites around. So I joined. I realize that a lot of any reaction to a site is subjective and my subjective response to the site is that it lacks any real heat. In is recent review of the site, Graymane hit the nail on the head when he noted that the site seems to be lacking heat. For me, I think a lot of that lack of heat comes from the fact that this isn't the kind of site I’d usually join. Objectively it’s a great site, but subjectively it isn't for me. The site uses a ‘trick’ commonly used by many sites in that it sells itself as a network when it really isn't. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but there is a main site where everything in available and then the ‘sites’ allow you to filter the scenes and photos further. For example, all the hardcore scenes can be filtered by selecting the ‘site’ called “Twisty’s Hard.” The site is huge with more close to 7700 videos uploaded. 385 of those feature b/g hardcore sex. 186 are lesbian and the remainder are solo girl. The site caters to photo collectors too, with equal emphasis on photos. (I’d prefer to tell you exactly how many photo sets are available but I ran out of patience. The site only allows the user to advance two pages at a time and after advancing through almost 400 pages of videos two pages at a time I just couldn’t bring myself to do that again. This is a minor flaw that should be fixed.) I collect videos so this review will be on that part of the site. The videos are mostly offered in three resolutions, 240, 480 and 720. Ordinarily I’d opt for the 720 for quality but I always look for a balance of resolution and file size. A problem with the site is that there is a vast chasm between the file sizes for the 480 and the 720 resolutions. It wasn’t unusual to have a scene where the 480 resolution was 500MB and the 720 was more than 2GB. Because of that difference I opted to go with the 480 and those are 1024x576 and 3000kb/s. There are some scenes that offer a fourth resolution of 1080 and with those there tends to be less of a gap between the 480 and 720 files. I can’t say how many scenes offer the 1080 resolution because they aren't marked and it isn't an option on even most of the newest updates. Speaking of updates, the site doesn’t disappoint in that there is one new video and one photo set added per day. The site allows download managers and I had no problem using one. I had no issues with links timing out but most of my links were never more than a half hour old anyway. I didn’t encounter any download limits. One problem I did encounter was a wide variation in download speeds. There were times when I saw downloads as fast as 15MB/s but there were a lot more times when the speeds were lower than 3MB/s. My three biggest complaints about the site are purely subjective and I haven’t factored them into the score. Depending on your tastes these may be seen as positives for you. The site is primarily a solo girl site and that isn't something that I collect. I find solo scenes boring because they lack any interaction with another person. I find that interaction, when done right, creates a sexual tension and for me that’s where the heat comes from. Second, the site seems to favor models with large breasts, whether they’re real or fake. This is especially true of the older videos as the newer ones do seem to have a bit better balance between smaller-breasted models and ginormous-breasted models. The final complaint is that there aren't a lot of anal scenes and those that are offered are mostly older and with European models. (As an aside, searching for anal scenes will bring up hundreds, but they include solo scenes in that count too. To be fair, once you get the search results for anal you can then further sort by site and selecting “Twisty’s Hard” will give you all the hardcore scenes. If you’re interested in this niche, there are only 23.) Overall the site is well laid out and it is relatively easy to find what you’re looking for. You can sort by model, there is an effective search function and they use tags effectively. Navigating is easy here. The bottom line is that this is a great site as long as you know in advance what you’re getting: the site is primarily a solo girl site that offers both videos and photo sets and they add in some hardcore b/g and lesbian to keep things interesting and to offer something for everyone. The site has some flaws but overall they do more right than they do wrong. I won’t be back (for the subjective reasons I’ve noted) but I would recommend the site to someone who likes solo girl stuff with a sprinkling of relatively tame hardcore. Pros: - Large studio - Big-budget, plot-based DVDs - 500+ DVDs - DVDs appear to be complete - A who’s who of A-list models - A lot of scenes with normal clothes and makeup - DVDs ranging from 2005 to 2014 - Updates regularly - 50% TBP/PU discount Cons: - Streaming only - Emphasis on models with large breasts (real and fake) – this won’t be a negative for everyone - Older videos stream in lower resolution - Older videos download the whole movie to your cache, which could be an issue for those with caps - Tags don’t appear to be effective in finding scenes Bottom Line: There are two things any prospective member should know before considering a membership here. The first is that the site offers streaming only (though a recent comment stated that with the right software the HTTP stream can be captured). The second is that this studio specializes in plot-based porn, some of it with a big budget and location shoots. If you prefer gonzo this might seem a bit tame for you. (One advantage to plot-based porn is that when the plot involves normal life – as opposed to pirates, for example – the model’s clothes and makeup are more natural. This is big plus for me. I’d rather see a model in jeans and light makeup than wearing PVC clothes and garish makeup.) The site is fairly standard for a studio site and it has many of the same flaws that other studio sites have. While the porn itself is quite good, the site lets it down. Digital Playground is a lot better than some other studio sites, but not as good as many exclusive sites. The site currently has just over 500 DVDs available. It certainly looks like all the scenes in each DVD are available. There is also the ability to sort by scene and while most of those scenes can be associated with a DVD it does appear that some of the scenes are (for now, at least) not part of a DVD. It may be that the scenes get assembled into the DVD once they’re all uploaded. It looks like there is one scene uploaded each day although there does appear to be the occasional gap. As can be expected with any website that has material ranging from 2005 to 2014 the quality of the older stuff is less than the newer stuff. Most of the older DVDs are available in four resolutions: 720, 576, 480 and 320. New DVDs are available in 1080, 720, 480 and 320. Approximately 25% of the videos offered (and all of the new uploads) have the 1080p option. I don’t normally join streaming sites, but one thing I noticed with the older movies could be an issue for some members. Even though you could select a specific scene from a movie, clicking on that scene started streaming the entire movie from the beginning. While it’s inconvenient to have to scrub ahead when you’ve already selected the scene you want, for those with a download cap this means you’re using unnecessary bandwidth to see a scene. This problem doesn’t seem to occur on any movie where the 1080p stream is offered. On those the specific scene you want is queued up. Another quibble is that the tags don’t work well. There is an extensive list of possible tags so I selected ‘anal’ to get a sense of how many anal DVDs there were. The result was six DVDs. That was disappointing, but not entirely unexpected as Digital Playground does seem relatively more couple-friendly than other studios. But it turns out there is a lot more anal here than the tags revealed. The tags don’t appear to be an effective way to sort scenes. A definite advantage to the site is that since this is one of the major studios and it’s been around a long time, their cast lists are usually a who’s who of A-list models. They also have a few exclusive models. Speaking of models, this is a subjective complaint, but the studio tends to shoot larger-breasted women than I prefer. Many of them are natural, but a lot are enhanced. (Teagan Presley, a favorite of mine, has a lot of scenes here but they are almost all post-surgery.) If you like A-list models with bigger breasts though, this site should be considered. The site isn't perfect but it does have more hits than misses. The streaming-only is likely a deal-breaker for many, but that may be offset by the 50% discount offered through TBP/PU. A membership gives you access to some big-budget porn with some of the biggest names in the business. Pros: - Good mix of models - Appears to update regularly - Videos and photos available - Streaming and downloads - Options available for streaming and downloads - A few pregnant models (if you’re into that) - Supports download managers Cons: - Model treatment leans to Misogynist side of scale - Six-hour download limit (but reasonable) - Some recent uploads are full scenes of older segments - Some models have only photos Bottom Line: This site follows the same formula used by several other sites where it appears to be a small operation. The scenes are shot by a mix of POV and tripod mounted cameras and the models are relative unknowns or are at least in the beginning of their career. This style is used successfully by sites like Exploited College Girls and Amateur Allure and with less success by sites like Broke Amateurs. Unfortunately I have to add Broke Models to the lower end of the scale for the same reason that Broke Models is there: while the porn itself is decent the site is flawed. As an armchair critic I’ll never understand why site owners make some of the choices that they do. First the good news: the site does offer some good porn if you like this niche. I like that the models are relative unknowns and range from nervous to confident. Their looks and body types exist on a range but all are relatively petite. If you like some color in your models you won’t find it here as they are almost all Caucasian with a few Latina women thrown in. For those of you who like pregnant models you’ll find a couple here. (Dani Jensen and Jodi Taylor seem to be this only A-list models here.) The scenes are structured in the same way used by many of these sites (and I should add that the male’s voice is familiar so he may be behind other sites too). The scene usually starts with the model fully dressed on a bed while she is interviewed. Eventually her clothes come off and the fun begins. The camera work isn't bad, but POV and tripods have limitations so don’t expect award-winning camera work here. A trait I don’t like in my porn is common here, namely rude treatment of the models. This could be staged though. I contrast the written scene descriptions at Amateur Allure, which may say something like “Here today is a stunningly beautiful model from Florida…” to the written descriptions here which tend to be more like “Today’s skanky whore is from Florida…” The same goes for their on-screen treatment. Admittedly, AA and BM aren't really competitors but I used this for a comparison. I also have to admit that for comparison choosing AA may be unfair as they do use some stunningly beautiful models whereas sites like this seem to recruit from a lower strata in the model hierarchy. Another trait I don’t like (mostly because it adds nothing to the scene for me) is the use of the ‘surprise’ creampie. This is used a lot at Back Room Casting Couch too. These may be staged, but the premise is that the models aren't expecting to have the guy come in them and some of them aren't happy about it. I think the intended effect is further debasing the models and that isn't something I’m into (unless it’s part of a BDSM scene where it fits into the context). I can’t say for sure how many actual scenes are available on the site through its safe to say there are about 65 scenes. The reason I can’t say for sure is because of a bit of a fast one the site pulls. With older uploads (and they’re not dated so it isn't easy to give specific details) the scenes were broken into segments. But in some cases the more recent uploads are simply those segments joined together as the complete scene. Apart from passing off an older scene as a new one, I downloaded duplicates without realizing it. Several times I was pleased to see more by a model I liked only to be disappointed that it wasn’t different. The other problem with this practice is that the site has a download cap of approximately 15GB per six hour period. I’m no fan of download limits but I can live with reasonable ones like this. But when there are duplicate scenes that aren't labelled as such that eats into your allotment. Another problem with the download limit is that while it is supposed to reset automatically after six hours on one occasion it didn’t. Given that there is a message telling the user how to contact support for this very problem I assume it occurs fairly frequently. I can’t give an exact update schedule but it looks like a new scene is added weekly. The most recent update is a new scene and not one stitched together from older segments. There are three listed download resolutions though for some reason two of them are the same. I downloaded the highest available (WMV) which came in at 1280x720 and 5000kb/s. They look good on a 24” monitor. The site offers photos too, and while I’d normally consider that a good thing in this case I was disappointed to see that many of the models only have photos and no videos. The photos are 1800x1200 and are available in zips. I had no trouble using a download manager. The bottom line is that this is some good (but not great) porn that’s let down by the site. If you like scenes like this with relatively unknown models in well-shot amateur scenes then this may be worth a look. Pat’s comments are true, accurate and valid and if he hadn’t posted those I would have not known that this site was VERY different from everything else I’ve ever joined. If I hadn’t had the information that pat posted I would have written the same thing as he did. BUT… having been forewarned by pat that this site uses a completely different business model I was prepared for that and willing to join anyway. I’m grateful for pat’s comment since I went in with the full knowledge of what I was getting. Further to the above, I think it is more accurate to think of this site as a store rather than a normal porn site. You pay your membership fee and that gets you access to 1500+ free scenes but if you want the newest stuff (less than a year old) you have to pay an additional amount. The flaw is that this can be an expensive way to get porn. But if this is the kind of porn you like then you’ll like it a lot. One aspect that pat commented on was the ‘attestation’ requirement. After you buy a membership you have to prove that you own the credit card you used. The process is simple: the site deducts a small amount from your card. You log on to your bank, confirm the amount and report that back to the LP site. The amount is refunded. The process took me less than five minutes. The process is an attempt to limit piracy. The second thing I should mention before I get into details is that this isn't mainstream porn that will interest everyone. Most of the scenes here push the limits of hardcore. Most of the scenes are at least threeways and scenes that don’t feature anal sex are rare. You’ll also find milk and cream enema and pee play. The scenes are definitely NOT artcore. You can choose different levels of membership with the difference being how many premium tickets you want to buy upfront. Once you’re a member there are three different ‘classes’ of videos – the premium ones that you buy with the tickets you get with a membership, the ex-premium ones that you buy with free tickets (you get one free ticket per day when you’re a member) and the free videos you have access to through your membership that you need no tickets for. It appears that videos that require paid tickets move to requiring free tickets after a year. It doesn’t appear that the premium videos ever become completely free with a membership. The site itself is a giant clusterfuck that needs to made more intuitive. I got used to it but it can be improved. Scene a model naming are a constant problem with generic meaningless names being given to scenes. Since Russian and Eastern European models change their names more than their socks I can’t entirely blame the site for that, but it’s still annoying. Newer videos are available in two resolutions – 640x480 and 1280x720. Both are MP4. Older videos are only available in the lower resolution. I downloaded the higher resolution and those have a bitrate of 4500/kb/s so they look decent. The older scenes have a 2500 bitrate and they look okay too. Trailers are available, as are photos. Many of the older ‘free’ scenes are available elsewhere (like Videobox) but the resolutions here are usually higher than at other sites. I used a download manager and had no issues with it. Download speeds varied and there were some times when the speeds were slow but most of the time they were okay. Sometimes they were fast. You can buy scenes individually without a membership. One piece of advice is that if you do want to buy a few scenes work out the cost and compare it to a membership. Buying scenes individually is VERY expensive with that cost being about 3 times the cost of the tickets for the same scenes. I found scoring the site to be difficult and I finally settled on a fairly low score mostly for objective reasons. The biggest of those is that the site isn't easy to use: it could use a major overhaul. If I factored in my subjective opinion on the quality of the porn the score would have been higher. If you like your porn with a harder edge you’ll love the porn even if you don’t like the process to get it. I know the biggest criticism of the site will be having to pay for newer scenes, but think of the membership fee as giving access to 1500+ scenes and you can buy the newest scenes. I’d recommend the site with four caveats: go in knowing that the porn is a lot harder than what’s available at most other sites, that the site itself is illogical, that unless you’re willing to spend a lot of money you’ll be leaving the newest scenes behind and finally that business model is unlike any other porn site. If you do decide to join go in with your eyes open. Now, three years later, I’m rethinking both of those positions. I’ve scored it lower because it now does more wrong than right, and when a ‘network’ also offers one main site where all their material is available I now view those niche ‘sites’ as being more like tags for sorting. I really don’t recall what the site looked like or how it was laid out three years ago when I was last a member but it now comes across as wanting to be a competitor to Videobox. If that’s true it misses the mark by a wide margin. MA has many of the weaknesses of VB without having any of its strengths. The site currently has 7,475 DVDs uploaded. They also show 39,745 scenes as being available. For a DVD-based site they have a serious flaw in that if you open a scene it isn’t linked in any way to the DVD where it’s from and there is no information the DVD either. It appears that all the scenes are on DVDs but I can’t say that for certain. I wouldn’t join on the expectation that you’ll get access to the DVDs AND get access to a lot of scenes too. I don’t think the site works that way though it isn't obvious. (I also have to admit that while it appears that all the scenes offered in the niche sites are taken from DVDs on the main site I can’t be certain that they all are. The way all the sites are structured makes that determination impossible. The effect may be that the site looks much larger than it really is.) While the numbers of DVDs (and/or scenes) is impressive they only have 140 DVDs in HD. Where no HD is offered there are four resolutions of MPEG4 files available and listed as bitrates: 2000, 750, 500 and ‘portable.’ For the few HD scenes here those are offered as 1080 and 720 (1920x1080 6000kb/s and 1080x720 4000kb/s, respectively). The highest bitrate scenes in SD come in at 640x480 and 2000kb/s. To be fair MA has access to a lot of older porn from the 1990s and 2000s (which I see as a great asset for the site) so I can’t expect a lot better, but when VB uploads two HD DVDs per day MA looks to be lacking. Don’t join here expecting a lot of quality because you won’t find it. (Of the scenes 39,745 only 2020 are in HD.) Updates are another area where MA is lacking. But with the way the site doesn’t link scene selections with the DVDs they’re from it can be a little hard to tell. If sorting by DVD it appears that a DVD hasn’t been added in almost three months but when sorting by scene the update schedule is better. There doesn’t appear to be a regular update schedule but it appears that at least one scene is added per week and in some cases two scenes may be added per week. When you contrast that with VB’s upload of five DVDs per day MA comes up short. One weakness that this site and VB share is an over-reliance on compilations. It’s less acute here at MA but it is still obvious. MA has a broad tag system for selecting scenes with approximately 115 niches tagged. The site supports download managers and I had no problem with links timing out, though with the file sizes being so small that shouldn’t be an issue anyway. I also found no download limits were imposed. One advantage that MA has over its competition is that they offer porn in a lot of niches that aren't widely available on other similar sites. For example, they offer a lot of black-themed titles. Not interracial, but actually black-themed. Also, there is what I would call ‘senior porn.’ Not old men fucking young women or vice versa, but actually titles where all the talent is older. Finally, the site offers some gay material too, which seems odd on a straight-oriented site. The bottom line is that I’d only recommend this site to get access to some specific titles or studios that aren't offered elsewhere. Other than that this site comes up short in more ways than it succeeds. While it offers a low price through TBP/PU that low price isn't enough to offset the low resolutions for most of the videos. If you’re looking for an all-you-can-eat-buffet approach to porn you’re better off joining Videobox. The problem with this approach is that I figured that the size and resolution of the videos were low and small precisely because they were previews. After joining the site I learned that the quality in the member’s pages was no better. I joined primarily because the sites in the network seemed to have a public nudity theme and that’s a niche I’m interested in. For fans of that genre there is a fair bit here but the network’s shortcomings likely outweigh any advantages. To be fair, this is some decent public nudity. Where it loses marks in my measure is that they trade off brazenness for heat. Val, for example, makes a lot out of her arrest and 30 days in jail for public nudity and then flaunts that by wearing pasties and panties that match her skin tone to attract more police attention. There isn't a lot of sexual heat in those shoots. There is some girl/girl and very little boy/girl (oral only) so don’t join expecting to see these models in hardcore action. The network has five sites but one of them is a cam site and I didn’t check it out. I’m not really into those and I don’t want to risk additional charges for something I don’t want. So this review is of the four solo girl sites on the network. The four models are all young, petite and attractive. They all have a wholesome look popular in many amateur models. The girls and their sites are: • Val Midwest – 45 videos and photo sets • Melissa Midwest – 40 videos and 96 photo sets • Foxy Jacky – 20 videos and 76 photo sets • Sweet Adri – 12 videos and 79 photo sets The site has some fairly serious flaws for both video and photo collectors. For video collectors the biggest drawbacks will be the low resolutions used and the fact that even short videos tend to be broken into parts. The highest resolutions I saw were 720x480 which are marginal at best. But when you consider that some of these videos have bitrates below 1000kb/s those are well below current standards. The best of the videos aren’t that good and the worst are badly pixilated. Some of the videos are 640x480. I can’t give you photo guys much information here. I don’t normally collect photos but I certainly don’t if I have to download them one at a time. Yes, this site doesn’t offer zipped photosets. You may be thinking that the reason for these problems is that these videos and pictures were made many years ago. That’s a fair question but since one model has videos and photos of her 2013 appearance in Hustler magazine it seems that the site does have newer content. Much of the material here could be older though based on a comment that exotics4me made in 2013 about having been a member there ‘years ago.’ I can’t provide any clear answer on whether any of the sites updates or not as they don’t date any of the uploads. I’ve been a member less than a week and my plan is to cancel my membership today and not bother going back. Even if there were new uploads the resolutions are so low as to not have me too interested in getting them. The good news about cancelling is that the site bills through CC Bill so that won’t be a problem. My educated guess, however, is that none of the sites are updating on any regular schedule. The site supports download managers but the file sizes are so small that they aren’t really needed. I can’t say if this will be an issue with other users and I’ll be cancelling my membership and have no reason to go back, but while it is true that you get access to 5 sites with your network membership you must sign in through the site you joined through. Once in that site you have access to all the sites. What I don’t know is if the content on the additional sites is limited in any way. I have no way to check that. If you do choose to join you’ll note that they offer a three-month membership. My advice is to avoid that. I downloaded 90% of the videos from the four girl’s sites in less than an hour. The bottom line is that unless you must have photos and videos from these specific models you’re best to spend your porn dollars elsewhere. The monthly fee is $30 and that’s very high for what you get. The models are hot, and there is definitely some interesting stuff for fans of public nudity, but the videos are too low resolution to have any real collectable value. And if you need the photos be prepared for a lot of clicking on your mouse. If you like petite and natural teen models you should consider taking a look at this site. The site is quite soft with the scenes being solo and girl/girl. There is some toy play and some scenes are shot outdoors. I don’t normally collect a lot of solo and girl/girl stuff and I found that a lot of the girl/girl stuff was even softer than I’m used to. It seems that a lot of these models might be just ‘gay for pay’ as there wasn’t a lot of interaction. I have to confess that this increased the heat for me though. One advantage this site has is that it really offers good value for both video and photo collectors. The site doesn’t trade off one for the other as is usually the case for sites. I’m not normally a photo collector but with the beautiful models and the high quality photos I downloaded a lot. There are currently 121 videos ranging from 5 to 40 minutes long. Videos are offered in 3 choices – HD, mid-range and ‘portable device.’ I’d normally download the HD but there was often a wide chasm in size between HD and medium. There are some HD files here that top out at over 10GB. That’s too much hard drive space for something that is only a peripheral interest so in some cases I opted for the mid-range. The HD files are 1920x1080 with bitrates from 8,000 to 25,000. They look great – crisp and sharp. The mid-range files are 1228x690 3000kb/s. They look good too so they’re worth the reduced file size. One (possibly subjective) flaw in the videos is that the music dubbed in can be loud enough to be obtrusive. Especially with a g/g scene the sounds the models make are often drowned out by the music. There are 210 photo sets available with 70 to 400+ pics per set. The sets are zipped, though in some cases there are multiple zips. In one case there were 9 zipped files that had to be downloaded to get the full set. The photos are 5616x3744 and look good. There is a lower resolution available though I didn’t download those. This may be nitpicking, but in sets requiring multiple downloads I encountered a few cases where the same file name was used twice. This is definitely nitpicking, but I found some sets to be out of sequence. A model may be reclining on a bed with panties on, followed by several with the panties off, followed by the panties on, followed by the panties being removed. Yes, I’m a bit anal that way… There’s one important question that I can’t answer: since the updates aren’t dated I can’t say if the site is updating or not. While this review will focus on Sex Underwater I’ll give some details on the other sites that come bundled with the network. The premise of the site is fairly simple, and the title really sums it up: think of this as standard boy/girl sex that you’d see on other sites, but these scenes are all shot underwater. The majority of the scenes feature the talent simply holding their breath in a pool but there are scenes with SCUBA and supplied air. In the scenes with no air source but the surface the site edits out all the bobbing to the surface for air that the talent has to do. Some of the scenes are shot in the ocean. One thing to note is that these scenes are really quite normal apart from the unique location: this isn’t rough sex and bondage – the water isn’t used as part of some D/s play. I’d normally download the 1280x720 MP4s but I had a problem with all of them. I will fully admit that this may be my issue since I’m not technologically inclined, but the 1280x720 MP4s all came in m4a format and that caused problems for me on playback. Because of that I downloaded the 960x540 WMVs. The resolution is accurate though the bitrate varies a lot with the file. Some are 1600kb/s while others are 6000. Frame rates vary too (23, 29, 59) and I have no idea why a site would have such variability. Subjectively the scenes look okay. Unfortunately things change for the worse as the videos get older. Prior to July 2012 there is no option in file type or size and in most cases the scene is broken into two segments. Then, prior to 2008 things get almost unwatchable. Resolutions are 720x480. • Mist of Water – I’m not sure how to describe this site, so I’ll just quote their tag line: “Water soaked women, clinging hair, sheer see-through clothes, underwater buoyancy.” That pretty much sums it up. There are five photo shoots and two videos (640x480). I don’t download photos but it seems that this site could be of interest to those who do. They’re available as zips. So would I recommend this site? Yes, but as long as you know what the site’s weaknesses are. Sure, they often offer a wide range of material so that most porn buyers can find something they like, but in most cases they do that at the expense of quality. With this site, the site itself and the videos they offer certainly lack the quality I’ve come to associate with smaller sites. Before I wade into the main review I need to explain that I’ll be missing some details. The network is large and the videos are often available on several sites within the network which makes it seem bigger than it really is. The model sites work great for narrowing your search for scenes and photos with a specific model but the main network gives access to everything. There are currently 1389 videos and 1973 photo sets uploaded across all the sites in the network. The network updates with one upload per day (either a video or a photo set) and these are spread across all the sites. The network layout is far too rudimentary for its size. There is a search function available and you can sort by individual models through the sub-sites and sort by videos or photos. The site started in 2009 but the videos uploaded then were pretty low quality. Some are as low as 480x320 and 1000kb/s. That wasn’t good even for 2009. The good news is that the newer videos are a much better quality at 1920x1080 and 10,000kb/s. The photos aren’t great quality whenever they were posted. Older photos are 1500x1000 and the newer ones are 1600x900. The photos are available as singles or zips and some of the photosets are huge with over 500 photos. The site supports download managers and download speeds were good at all times. I had no issues with links timing out. I can’t give a definitive answer as to whether much of the material here is exclusive but I suspect that a lot of it is. I collect a lot of Amy Brooke’s stuff and I didn’t recognize any of the scenes as ones I had already seen. This is subjective, but I don’t like fake breasts and there seem to be a lot of them on display here. Two of my favorite models, Amy Brooke and Trinity St. Claire, had ‘enhancements’ and spoiled their appearances by looking unnatural. Another pet peeve of mine is also found here: when you load a video page the video starts playing automatically. What I found to be the site’s best attribute last time hasn’t changed: the quality of the models they hire. The models are all young (18-20), petite and incredibly beautiful. This isn’t a site where you’ll find a lot of fake breasts and tattoos. That’s good news for those of us who prefer this type of model, but obviously is you prefer MILF porn then this site might not be for you. Each scene opens into a separate page where the video can be streamed or downloaded. The production values here are among the best I’ve seen. The lighting, sound and editing are all top quality. While there are 22 other ‘sites’ in the network those sites are just a repackaging of what is available on the main site. If you go to the main New Sensations site you’ll have access to everything. I don’t see this as a major negative issue because it isn’t that big a deal and it is common with studio sites. I only point it out so no one joins expecting several distinct sites. Think of the ‘sites’ as just a high-level filter. The site is well laid out with search functions, drop-down menus and tags. A major flaw with the site is that it has only been since 2013 that they started offering HD (1280 and 1920) so there are currently only about 200 DVDs in HD. To make matters worse, the site opted to use low bitrates so even the HD files don’t look as good as similar sites. When available I downloaded the 1280 files and they’re only 4000kb/s which means they can look blocky at times. Prior to 2013 the MP4 file available was for mobile devices so that leaves WMV as the best option. The older files come in at 640x480 and 2000kb/s. With specs like that they can only look poor by today’s standards, but I won’t complain because some of these are quite old and not available elsewhere. 1024x576 is also a fairly common file size though the bitrates here are low too at 2000. The Catch-22 with the site is that while I may have been better off downloading the highest resolution available (I usually balance quality and file size) but that would make the download limit even more frustrating. If you are interested though, the best files are the MP4s at 1920x1080 but the bitrate is still low at 4000. They do look better though. And speaking of download limits, there is one here. A problem with it is that they have created one that is theoretically not that bad but set it up in a way that functions in an annoying way. A member is only allowed to download 6GB of data in an hour and when you exceed that your access is cut off for an hour. Sure, the site can argue that they still give you access to 144GB per day, but given that they offer HD and if you have a fast internet connection you can find yourself cut off after not too long. I should also advise that the message that comes up is incorrect: it states you’re cut off for 12 hours, but it is only one hour. I confirmed that via email. To add to the frustration, you can’t even view the site while you’re in exile. (This applies to a full membership; it may be the full 12 hour lock-out for trial memberships.) Many of the DVDs are incomplete, which seems really odd for a studio site. The reason I can say this with some authority is that there are many DVDs that only have one or two scenes available, where the store version would have more than that. The site supports download managers (though they cite these are a reason for imposing a limit). While the studio covers the typical porn niches, they do have one that is fairly unusual and likely somewhat controversial: incest porn. To be fair to the site, I think that part of the problem is a language barrier in many of the scenes. Not many of the models speak English well, if at all, and the casting niche relies on a lot of conversation to set the scene up and create some heat. In this case that heat isn’t developed well because of the language barrier. Of more importance though is the fact that the site puts less effort into creating the myth of a casting video. When comparing the scenes here to one of the best, Casting Couch X, for example, language is only part of the issue. This site is a case of only getting one out of three right, and that’s having good porn. But since that’s subjective your opinion might be different. I’m fairly confident that no one will disagree with my objective assessment that the site needs some work. The genre that the site fits into is the quasi-amateur site where fresh-faced models come to perform a rare scene. The models are all relatively young (18-22), almost all are Caucasian, body types can vary a bit but most of them are petite. Some of the models have gone on to become big porn stars, but most are more obscure than that. While many of the models have other scenes (often on similar sites), most have little exposure if that’s something that you like. This is a large site that started in 2000. There are currently 570 videos available and it appears that there is a new one added weekly. I say that it ‘appears’ that it updates weekly because I can’t be certain since none of the scenes are dated. All of the scenes follow a formula, which some will take issue with. I’m indifferent to sites that offer formulaic porn as long as the formula works, and in this case it does. The formula is simple: the POV camera pans up a bed to the model and she is introduced and interviewed. There are some poses with clothes, the clothes come off, there is oral on the male cameraman, there is usually (but not always) vaginal sex, and the scene always concludes with the POV cameraman jerking off on the model’s face. I’m no fan of watching a guy jerk off on a woman’s face (the jerking part, I’m fine with facials) but it’s so common in porn now that there’s really no point in complaining. The cameraman (and presumably the site owner) is good at POV work but not the best I’ve seen. One thing he does right is recognize that the scene isn’t about him so he doesn’t try to upstage the models. Some will complain that he talks too much, but I find that doesn’t detract from the scene and probably helps it by keeping a connection between the performers. As with many similar site, the main strength is the models who appear. Many are really good looking and worth watching. One thing that I really like is that the models begin the scene in street clothes. I really prefer this over a sleazy porn outfit. The site made the right choice in this. Apart from the good porn this site really has little else going for it. The site design is less than simple: it’s outdated. And apart from being outdated, some of the choices the designers made are just bad. For one thing, the site is backwards. When you enter the first page with scenes you’re on the page with the oldest videos. Once you’re on a page you want the only way you can decide if you want to download a scene is from a small thumbnail. If you like a particular body type you may be disappointed with what you download. There is no search function, there are no tags and there are no links if a model has more than one scene on the site. The downloads themselves are well below industry specs. There are no options for file types or resolutions. WMV is the only type available. The two most common resolutions are 640x480 and 704x396. There are a few at 720x480. Bitrates are 3200kb/s. I’m willing to accept that older scenes won’t be available in better resolutions, but in 2014 these resolutions don’t cut it. At a minimum the scenes should be 1280x720. They don’t look bad, but they still need to improve. Download managers are allowed and I had no problem with links timing out. Download speeds were the same as I get elsewhere. When I joined many of the scenes (maybe a year and half of them) provided no model name at all. The site explained this choice as an attempt to reduce piracy since a search for the site name a model name would bring up tub-site links. While this is better than streaming-only or DRM, I found it annoying since I prefer to sort the scenes by model name and if I like the model I might be able to find more her elsewhere. Sometime in the past two weeks the site has reversed this policy and now includes the model’s name on page, though the download still has a generic name. I can live with that now that I know the model’s name and can change the file name. So would I recommend this site? Yes, with some caveats and reservations. But working against BB is the perception of misleading signups and shady billing practices. It seems unreasonable to me that BB isn’t aware of these concerns since the misleading signups are obviously a choice they made (and the billing flows from that) and if they are aware of the concerns, it baffles me why a site of this calibre would continue to do that.
