This site is in addition to her other excellent sites, Hard X and Erotica X. If you’re familiar with either of those sites you’ll know that if Dark X follows in their footsteps it will be a great site. I don’t want to sound judgmental, but I don’t really understand interracial porn as a stand-alone niche. For one thing, it seems that ‘interracial’ in this context only means a black male with white female. In the real world couples from any race can pair up. But what I don’t understand is why these interracial scenes couldn’t simply have been added to the existing Hard X and Erotica X sites since those two sites do have interracial scenes. But, for some reason, interracial porn seems to be a big thing right now and I can’t fault Mason for wanting to capitalize on that. The porn itself is up to Mason’s usual high standards: the models are A-list and beautiful. The women are all white but there is some variation in age and body type. The scenes are all well produced with good lighting and editing to best show off the models. I wouldn’t go so far as to say this is couples porn but it isn't misogynistic either. Credit that to having a woman as the director for giving these scenes a lot of heat and still appeal to a broad audience. There are currently 29 scenes uploaded, but that needs a bit of an explanation. When the site began it added a new scene each day for a short while. That makes sense as it gives members a reason to join. The current update schedule is one scene per week but the overall number of scenes is augmented by the addition of some bonus interracial scenes from Hard X and Erotica X. These are actual bonus scenes in that they don’t count as the weekly exclusive update. As of today there are 21 Dark X scenes, six Hard X scenes and two Erotica X scenes. For those like me who like anal sex scenes, there are six exclusive anal scenes and an additional four from Hard X. Like its sister sites, this one is laid out well and is easy to use. There are different ways to sort the scenes and you can choose a specific porn star or common niche. There is a search function but the site is still too small to really test that. I found that just being able to sort by star and niche was sufficient. Each main page has six scenes with each having a large photo and information on the scene including the model, the scene name and the upload date. Each of those opens into a new page where you’ll have a description of the scene and options to stream or download it. For both streaming and downloading there are a lot of options. Both offer seven different resolutions: 160p, 240p, 360p, 480p, 540p, 720p and 1080p. The downloads are only available as MP4s. I wish other sites would offer this many options. I downloaded the 720p files as those are a good compromise between file size and video quality. The bitrates are just shy of 5000kb/s (though a few were as low as 3500) so they look good on a 24” monitor. There are some photos available but it is fair to say that these are secondary to the videos. The photos are good quality but there aren't many per set and those appear to be screencaps. I didn’t see a way to download them as a zip. The site allows download managers and I found the download speeds to be at least as good as other comparable sites. Some may not see the value in joining such a small (but growing) site even with the TBP discount but that would be missing out on some excellent quality porn. The scenes are all well produced, shot and edited and all of them feature the best stars in the porn industry today. The site isn't perfect, but it has a narrow focus and it sure does that one thing well: you’ll see some of the freshest porn models here. What I think bugs me most about this site is that it is so good that if the few flaws fixed on a go-forward basis this would be one of the best teen-themed sites on the ‘net. I think the best thing this site has are the models. There is a mix of up-and-coming porn stars and girls who just dabbled a bit in porn once or twice. There is also a mix of American and Eastern European / Russian models, but the majority are American. The common theme in the models is that they are all petite, just over 18 and, in my opinion, exceptionally hot. I realize that this is entirely subjective, but these are the exact kind of models I prefer. If you share this interest then a membership here is definitely worth considering. The site has been around since 2007 and has amassed 450+ videos and 2350+ photo sets. The site updates with two photo sets and one video being added per week. Occasionally there will be two videos per week. The videos are a mix of solo, girl/girl and hardcore. This is just a guess, but it seems that for the last few years at least the split is somewhere around 45% solo, 45% hardcore and 10% girl/girl. The videos don’t follow any specific theme except the setup is intended to showcase the age and freshness of the models. The newer videos are offered with some choice: 1280x720, 640x360, 854x480 in MP4 and 640x360 in WMV. Bitrates are crucial to a video looking good but there isn't any consistency here. Even on the highest resolutions the bitrates can vary quite a bit. I have some scenes with bitrates as low as 1500kb/s. It does appear that the site is now fairly consistent in having bitrates around 3500kb/s. Older videos are WMV only and come in 640x480. Anything older than early 2011 and you will have to be satisfied with lower resolutions and bitrates. It is even later before 1280x720 is offered consistently. The video quality is obviously the site’s biggest flaw. While 720p videos are my choice as a balance between size and look I realize that others want the highest resolution possible. Maybe 4K won’t happen, but it seems odd in 2015 to not offer 1280p. An immediate improvement could be made by using better bitrates. All isn't lost though, as the newer videos are encoded in a way to take full advantage of their less-than-stellar specs. Another odd choice that seems to harken back to a decade ago is that the scenes are offered as five-minute clips. Some readers may disagree, but in my opinion the video offerings are outdated. Having 1280x720 as the top download is below what most people expect these days. Offering five-minute clips seems like it’s from a different internet era. Are there people buying porn memberships that still download this way? Photos are a key part of the site too. This is one of the rare sites where photo collectors and video collectors could both feel the site offers good value. The photos do suffer from the same drawbacks as the videos in that they aren’t very high resolution. The newest photos come in 400x600, 800x1200 and 2000x3000. Older photos are available in a maximum of 768x1200. The videos are offered in streaming too, and there is an in-browser photo slideshow available. There are a few minor concerns. The biggest of these is that the search function really doesn’t work well. I did a search for anal scenes and got some scenes that had no anal. To make matters worse, I couldn’t sort those results to get only videos. Some minor positives are that the site offers a TBP discount and allows download managers. The TBP page says that managers aren't supported but I had no problem using IDM to queue-up scenes. It may be that multiple simultaneous downloads are blocked. I didn’t run into any download limits. The site offers two bonus sites (Picking Up Pussy and T&A Tryouts) but both of these sites are small and offer what look to be old scenes with new release dates added. You may like the bonus sites, but I wouldn’t use factor them in on a decision to join the main site. This is obviously Playboy-produced stuff, but I don’t know if this is run on the Playboy channel or if this is web exclusive. Being affiliated with Playboy would suggest high-quality content and that is what you’ll find here. Locations are great and production quality is great. Being part of the Playboy brand means that most of the models are beautiful. You will find some fake breasts and tattoos but most of the models are natural. I don’t think I need to explain to any reader what Playboy models look like: that’s what you’ll find here. One problem I found is that in most cases the models aren't credited within any scenes. If you find a model you like good luck identifying her. If you do identify her through, you will be able to source more of her stuff through her model page. The site gives you access to 92 different ‘shows.’ These range from casting shoots, spring break stuff, strip club stuff to some hardcore material. There is a wide range of niches available. Within each of these ‘shows’ there may be multiple seasons and within each season there are multiple episodes. Given that variation I can’t give an accurate number of how many individual scenes there are but I can say with confidence that this site does have a lot of quantity to offer. The site is well-organized and it’s easy to find something you’ll be interested in. There is a search function but I didn’t find it to be very useful. But since the site is laid out so well there really isn't a need for much of a search function. Being able to sort by shows and models gives a lot of functionality. Something I didn’t expect (but probably should have) is that many of the ‘shows’ follow a reality-TV format. I downloaded and watched two series’ that featured strippers and strip clubs. I’m a fan of this niche and was expecting a lot of stripping. There is some of that but most of the series focused on the drama among strippers and between management and the strippers than any actual stripping. This is also the case for most of the other shows too. There is some hardcore on offer but it is best to think of this as a softcore site with a little hardcore thrown in. Don’t join expecting Playboy-quality models in hardcore scenes because you’ll end up disappointed. Probably the biggest flaw in the site is the video quality. Most videos are offered in multiple resolutions (with MP4 being the only format) but the focus is on the lower end of the scale rather than the upper end of the scale. Resolutions of 272p, 320p, 368p and 480p are offered with most videos. I may be missing the point here, but it seems to me that offering both 320p and 368p is a bit pointless. If you’re viewing on a phone would there really be that much difference between those two files? The upper end of the scale isn't as well served. On many files the best you can get is 720p. Those come in at 1280x720 which isn't bad but they’re let down by a bitrate of only 2500kb/s so they look pixilated on even a 24” monitor. Some scenes are offered in 720p with a higher bitrate of 4000kb/s but even that is low by today’s standards. Some, but not many, files are available in 1920x1280 with a 6000kb/s bitrate – again, that’s low and should be improved. One thing I found both odd and frustrating was that within a ‘season’ of a show there were variances in the resolutions available. Episode 1 might offer both 720p bitrates and the 1080p while Episode 2 only offers the low-bitrate 720p file as the highest quality. Presumably these scenes were shot and uploaded around the same time so this variance is baffling. Photos are available but they appear to be screenshots. If there is a way to download the photos as a zip I couldn’t find it. The photos are 1920x1080 but I found the few I downloaded to be fuzzy but that may be intended. I used a download manager to queue-up files and didn’t experience any problems. The download speeds were average. I didn’t experience any limits or caps. There is a TBP discount offered but make sure you select that as the annual membership is the default. A final beef I have with the site is that it randomly assigns a username and password and these are just a random uses of letters and numbers so they aren't likely to be memorized. Further, when you sign in you can select the ‘remember me’ option but that doesn’t work. I recommend the site as long as any member goes in knowing what they’re getting. Think of this as reality TV with some extra spice thrown in and a bit of hardcore for good measure. The site has a lot to offer but could be greatly improved by offering better bitrates as the ones they offer now are too low. And the tour page certainly leads a buyer to think they’re getting a lot more than what they will actually get for joining. If you’re like me, when you join a newly created site you expect it to be small but you accept that. I joined this site knowing that it was quite new and would be small and that’s really the only expectation that this site met. There are currently 12 videos available. The TBP page listed that there were 12 videos but that was in June so I expected to see some growth in the site which would make it a better value now than it would have been in June. That assumption was incorrect: this site hasn’t updated since June. Nothing has been added in the last four months. I think it’s a reasonable assumption to make after four months of no updates that this site is stillborn and won’t add anything in the future. To make matters worse, the 12 scenes are only available for download in one resolution and in only one file type. MP4 is the only option, but since it’s the most commonly available I won’t fault the site for making that choice though they do have to take the blame for not offering any resolution options at all. But wait! It gets even worse: the one resolution available is only 960x540. Bitrates vary with most being around 2500kb/s but a couple of the files have bitrates as high as 6000. Maybe you won’t agree with me, but I think that having these as the only available resolution is 2015 isn’t acceptable. The scenes themselves aren’t really anything special either. Obviously all of them play on the stepfather / stepdaughter theme and those can get repetitive but the scenes don’t bring a lot of heat either. It isn’t bad porn, it’s just average porn. I won’t name names because it would be rude to do so, but most of the models here are not A-list material. I could be accused of perpetuating a stereotype but I prefer models who are young and petite. The models are young, but some of them are much more natural in that they have a pretty sizeable muffin top. One has stretch marks from a recent pregnancy. Of the 12 scenes available I only kept six. Further, at the bottom of the page there are links for are obviously intended to show the viewer that there are 120 of these pages. That might indicate that there are over 3000 scenes on this site. There are no links to show the models on the site, or to sort by update. In fact, clicking on anything on the tour page brings you to the join page. Whip out your credit card and get access to over 3000 scenes! Reality will bite you in the ass pretty quickly. If you’ve read my review so far you won’t be surprised to learn that I’m not recommending this site. Whether you’re looking for black/white interracial porn or you like the stepfather / stepdaughter theme, you can do a lot better on other sites. The fact that the site isn’t updating is the final kicker, but even if it was I doubt that I’d recommend a membership since the porn is barely average and the scene resolutions belong in 2010. In some ways that’s good, but in other ways it means that many members will find a lot of scenes that they have no interest in. By no measure is this a small network. There are currently just under 4000 videos spread across 44 sites and those sites cover a broad range of fetishes and offer some subtle differences between the sites within a fetish. It should also be noted that not all sites update so if you join for one specific you may not see regular updates at that favorite site for weeks as the updates are spread among all the active sites. Mbaya did a review of one of the sites on this network (Brutal Castings – which you should read even if you have no interest in that specific site but are thinking of joining the network) and noted that this site was very repetitive. I agree with mbaya and can report that this is an issue with several of the s active sites. Brutal Castings is probably the worst for being repetitive, but it isn't alone. While no one can argue that the network offers quantity, quality may be an issue for many. The first videos on the site were posted back in 2007 so no one is expecting 2015 standards for these, but they should be better than what they are. For even newer videos many of them are only available in lower resolutions. A beef I’ve had with several sites recently is that they have a wide chasm between the two top resolutions available. To make matters worse here though, the stated resolutions are far off what is really offered. The newest videos boast an available resolution of 4320p (does that exist yet?) which are actually 1920x1080 with bitrates that vary from 3000-9000kb/s. The next resolution available on newer scenes is billed as 1080p but those only come in at 960x540 and 1500 kb/s. Apart from false promises, this is a wide chasm between resolutions and for someone like me who likes to split the difference between appearance and file size this makes for a tough choice. Slightly older videos (2013) still say they’re “4320p” but come in at 1280x720. By 2012 the best offered in 800x450 at 1500kb/s. By 2009 and older the resolutions range from bad to worse. Unless you really have a thing for a specific fetish these older videos are generally very poor quality. Two things worth noting are that you can only advance the page views by four at a time, so if you’re looking to go to page 50 of 94 you’ll be in for a lot of clicking and waiting. The good news though is that you can enter a page number on the URL and go directly to a page. A site shouldn’t make you have to find a work-around just to advance multiple pages though. The other issue is a bit more of a problem. On every video I downloaded I faced this problem. It occurred throughout my membership and occurred regardless of the time of day or day of the week that I downloaded: the video download speeds varied from very fast to abysmal during EVERY download. I would see speeds as high as 25MB/s and they would drop to 14kb/s for times during the download. Overall, the time to download a scene was about average even with the speeds dropping off occasionally. One point that may be of interest to some is that the network site called Taboo Sex Diary is done by the same crew that now has the Desperate Pleasures site. For me, who likes the incest theme, this is good news. But the bad news is that these are possibly the lowest quality videos on the site, even though they’re dated 2014. My guess is that they were shot a while ago and only uploaded in 2014. Even though the thumbnails are branded as “HD,” the best resolution available on this site is 480x270 at 700kb/s. I guess their definition of HD is different from mine. As for a recommendation, I’m really on the fence here. Some of the scenes are good if you’re into the specific fetish but that’s all this site has going for it. There is a TBP discount but considering the full price is $40 and the discount price is $30 it’s still expensive. I realize that fetish material is more expensive to make, but other sites do it better for the same fees. The deal-breaker for me though is the low scene resolutions on many of the scenes. I joined this site not because I’m into incest porn but because I like porn that creates a sexual tension at the beginning and many incest porn scenes do that thanks to the taboo nature of the sex, and I also really like scenes with an older guy with a younger girl. Apart from noting the date it will be uploaded (which isn't hard to figure out though) they don’t include any other information such as the model name. For those, like me, who prefer a scene have a good setup to create some sexual tension before the actual sex begins, you’ll like this site as the scenes can spend a decent amount of time on that setup. That’s an advantage to this porn niche in that the scene needs to set the stage and create the tension just by virtue of the ‘relationship’ between the guy and girl. The site offers download options. They offer mp4 files in 1920x1080 (12,000 kb/s), 960x540 (3000 kb/s), 640x360 (1000kb/s) and a WMV file in 960x540 (3000 kb/s). If the site has a serious flaw it’s that there is a huge gap in resolution between the top two mp4 files. The file sizes are obviously vastly different. While the lower res file might be 600MB the 1080p scene could be over 3TB. The site really needs to fill that gap with a 720p option. The site also offers photos but only as a zip. The photos aren't great quality at 900x1353 but it’s fair to say that this is a video site and not a photo site so photos are more of an add-on bonus. I can’t say for certain if the photos are screencaps or actual posed photos but they don’t look like screencaps. There is a TBP/PU discount and it’s better than what we’re led to believe from the site’s TBP/PU page. The TBP/PU page gives the regular monthly fee at $19 and we get a 13 cent discount. The price is actually $25 so the discount is pretty good (and appreciated). If, like me, you’re a fan of anal sex you won’t find much here as there is currently one scene available. Apparently step-fathers and step-brothers don’t like fucking their step-daughters and step-sisters in the ass. You learn something new every day… I wish I could be more specific, but I think this site is affiliated with a larger studio. It has that look about it but I can’t say for certain. For me a site needs to have great porn and be a great site to get a high score but there are exceptions. If a site offers unique porn in an underserved niche then I’m more willing to overlook some of the site’s flaws. For Jim Slip, however, the porn isn't so unique as to allow me to overlook some of the site’s major flaws. I realize that taking this position opens the door to a lot of subjectivity so I’ll try to justify why I think this site could use a lot of improvement. The interaction between the performers is usually what creates the heat in a scene and the less interaction means less heat, in my opinion. Another niche that may be of interest is that Jim’s wife Lara, a hot MILF, sometimes appears in the scenes with the girls. The site does permit you to use a download manager to queue up scenes and I had no problem with the links timing out. The file types aren't listed but I always chose one of the two best resolutions depending on file size and those were all in MP4 format. Streaming is also available in multiple resolutions. The site also offers some interesting options: apart from the full scene you could stream or download just the money shot (sometimes also offered in slow-motion) and an interview with the model. The site has a list of tags for all the common niches so it’s easy to sort for anything you’re looking for. You can also sort by models. Photos are also available, as singles or as a zip. The photos are 1500x1000 which won’t impress any serious collector, but it is fair to say that this is more of a video site than a photo site. For another, it’s in an unusual niche that people may have an interest in but not be aware that there is a site that caters to it. So what is this unusual niche? It’s a bit hard to describe but may be best described as one girl and five guys. But it isn't a gangbang site; the guys have sex with the girl one after the other and each session forms a different scene. Each model’s ‘session’ starts with her sitting on a couch and being interviewed. Then the first guy comes in and from then on most of the scene is shot POV style, with some shots from a camerman. The guy and girl chat a bit, she undresses, goes down on him, they have sex and he finishes, usually with an oral with swallow. Then the next guy comes in and the process starts over again. If this happens to be important to anyone, the girl is dressed at the beginning each segment. So the best way to describe the niche is that it’s ‘girls pulling a train’ if such a niche exists. It’s difficult to say precisely how many scenes are here because, for one thing, the set-up lends itself to at least two interpretations of what a scene is. Is a scene all five sessions with one model or is a scene one session and each model then has five scenes? The definition is further blurred because most of the ‘scenes’ are broken down into five ‘sessions’ each downloaded or streamed separately while some scenes are downloaded or streamed as the full scene with all five ‘sessions’ in the same download. Confused? Here’s what I can say for sure: there are currently 167 videos available to upload featuring 42 models. Some of those are full-length scenes but most are broken down into separate sessions with each guy. It does appear that since the beginning of 2015 all of the new scenes added are full-length with all five ‘sessions’ in the download. One new scene per week is uploaded. The same models here are those found on the sister site, Glory Hole Secrets. That’s good and bad because if you like true amateurs you’ll like this site but many of the women don’t fit the typical porn ideal. That’s not good or bad, it’s just a fact. There are different ages and body types represented. Streaming is available in two different resolutions, one which is labelled as HD. I don’t use streaming so I can’t give an opinion on that. Downloads (all MP4) are available in 1920x1080 at 6000kb/s, 1280x720 at 3500kb/s, 960x540 and an unspecified resolution for phones and devices. While the bitrates are lower than I’d expect for the screen resolutions they still look good. I don’t think anyone would consider this a photo site but they do offer photos for those who are interested. Currently there are 21 photo sets available (these appear to be of the full scene with all five guys). Photos sets had been uploaded weekly but stopped in December 2014 so if you join for photos there may not be any updates coming. Photos are available as singles or zips in either 1920x1080 or 1280x720. The site uses a simple layout which is all that it needs. You can sort by scene, by model or by tag. With a niche this narrow you really don’t need a lot more. This site has a lot going for it: it has enough available to make it a decent value on a site that is simple to use with good download speeds and it supports download managers. It also comes bundled with Glory Hole Secrets which is a good glory hole site. But what makes the site stand out is the niche it offers. I’m not aware of any other site that focuses solely on this kind of scene and for that reason alone many people may consider joining. The looks, body types and ages of the models vary here so there is likely something for most tastes. There are options for how you view a scene. There is HD and SD streaming and downloads are available in 1920x1080 (6000kb/s), 1280x720 (3500kb/s) 960x540 and an unspecified resolution for phones. All the downloads are in MP4 format. For having relatively low bitrates both the 1080p and 720p files look good. I had no problem using a download manager. One feature of the site that I quite like is the option to download more than one version of the same scene. This isn't an option with all scenes, it would be the minority that offer this, but you can get the standard view with the cameraman standing near the model and recording and you can get a POV view with a camera located about eye level above the glory hole. The site layout is simple and effective and gives the option to sort the scenes in several ways. You can also sort by model too. No matter how you sort the scenes there is only one thumbnail on which to make a decision to check it out or not. With amateur models that’s important to me because the thumbnail may not be the best representation. The thumbnail may be a pretty face but she has triple-D breasts which I’m not interested in. This can be solved by clicking on the photo link for each scene to get a better look at the model. I’d prefer to see a better thumbnail of the models though. As I noted above, photos are available. I wouldn’t call this a photo site but they do offer high quality photos for those who are interested. You can download a zip of photos in 1920x1080 resolution or view them as singles in either 1920x1080 or 1280x720. Membership gives access to two sites, this and POV Wars (that site is unique and deserves its own review). I’d definitely recommend this site for fans of the niche. The site is well laid out, there is plenty of material here to make it a good value and the scenes look good and have some heat to them. This may be a bit nit-picky, but there is too big a gap between the highest resolution and the next highest. As this is primarily a video site there are lots of options available to view the videos. The newer videos have four streaming and five download options. Streaming is 1080p, 720p, 360p and “iPod.” Downloads are 1080p, 720p, 360p, iPod and WMV. The 1080p are 1920x1080, 10000+kb/s, the 720p are 1280x720, 4800kb/s and the 360p are 640x360 at 1300kb/s. I can’t give specs on the WMV files because they were much larger than the MP4 files, with some coming in at more than 4GB compared to 2GB for the MP4s. Obviously older DVDs have fewer options and the best isn't great by today’s standards. Since the available DVDs go back more than a decade I won’t complain about that though. This isn't really a photo site but screencaps are available. The last time I was a member I had a lot of complaints about the site that could be summarized as a too-basic site design and a lot of broken links. I’m pleased to report that both of those problems seem to be solved now. The site redesign looks good and is effectively laid out. The search functions now work, there are tags and niches and you can sort the scenes in any of several ways. There are still a few broken links but nothing like the amount there used to be. The site updates with a new scene per day. To pad their numbers a bit they use a different thumbnail and description when they upload it to each of the main sites. Black Ice doesn’t update and since I can’t access the lesbian site I can’t comment on that. Download managers are permitted and I had no issue with links timing out. While download speeds started off faster than average they quickly trailed off to lower than average speeds. I recommended the site the last time I reviewed it because the great porn outweighed the site’s flaws. This review doesn’t need to rely on any such compromises. The porn is still great and now the site design supports the porn rather than lets it down. At full price it would be a decent value but with the TBP discount it’s a great value.
