I've not been a member for a good while here but just looking at the new site design, whats with all the text description frames appearing when you hover over an image, makes it really annoying to browse in my opinion.
I got a membership to both X-Art and it's sister site Colette the other day and have a bit of a gripe with them. While the amount of videos is great, the HD videos themselves are a bit dull looking. To me the videos look like regular SD videos that have been re-sized and as a result just lack the sharpness and clarity of HD videos on other sites. The file size would back that up too, they are very small, the 1920P average around 350-500 mb. 1080p HD videos from sites like PassionHD and Brazzers are over double that and 1920p can go 2gb+.
I've been a member of this site twice. Once in 2012 and again in the spring of this year. (2015) Oddly enough, the downloads from 2012 are superior quality! The video resolution is the same but it seems X-Art odd shadow and lighting -- maybe on purpose? Half their videos are letterbox, which I don't see a need for.
Time to go back to basics X-Art. You had a good thing going.

In the last 4 days there has been 1 update, and that was a reject from Colette.com which wasn't hard enough for that site - it was with Aubrey who had just done an anal scene and been so hurt by it that she couldn't do the anal planned in this scene so they just stuffed it up on x-art instead. It really is just rough hardcore porn now, and Brigham Field seems to have almost nothing to do with the site any more.
They seem to have given up on this site completely - why shouldn't the members do the same?

The way they film the video is get amazing. I like that they don't get into the useless staged conversations to get to the sex. They just let the models do their thing, and the models have great chemistry with each other. Great stuff.
Anybody else having trouble downloading from this site. It's terribly slow and can take upwards of 15-20 minutes just to download even the 960X540 file format. I really enjoy the site but I had to cancel my subscription because of this issue.
Since today you can download only .mp4-Files. There are no .wmv-Files available. They have also removed the .wmf-.Files from the history. There was no Information on the Website or blog.

We kept a film with my favourite model Susie (Dido elsewhere) to watch at the end... what a shocker. It was a washed-out, blocky, pixelated mess - I can't believe anything this technically poor was put on a professional site, effectively unwatchable. As I said in my review, clearly no-one is bothering to check on the quality of the material any more.

- filesize of the Videos up to 1,4 GByte for 20 minutes (HD)
- downloading via IE10 native download Option results in Long time waiting (up to 60 minutes), downloadspeed starts with 2MByte/s and Drops down to 300kByte/s. some downloadmanager dosn't work (FDM)
The have nice Videos and pitureset's, but the usability of the Website is really nerving and not user-friendly.
I've had subscriptions at X-Art twice. The women are almost all gorgeous (d'oh), although a number of my favorites from 2011 are no longer appearing. X-Art has a new feature I just noticed. Live cams. I don't think it's a service that X-Art itself created. It's more like a link to a live cam feed that X-Art links to. I remember the old days when Met-Art had their live cam shows. I was always impressed by xart looks and the models looked great, but had feared it maybe too soft for my tastes and not so into solo scenes.
But joined last night and have to say I'm really impressed, its softer hardcore that's for sure but makes a refreshing change and I find theres lots of models I like with either a lesbian or boy/girl scene and it's great to see not just solo stuff which I wouldn't of joined to be honest if that's all they did here, Its a really good site, I'll full review soon.
Site asks for username and password, and says the link may not be secure.
Sometimes, you're already in the members area, but you click a link to download a photoset or video, and you have to give your user name and password again. But what's worse, you see on the form where you enter the information, the notice: "The server uses Basic authentication, which means that the method used to send your user name and password to the server may not be secure."
So I log out, log in again, go to the model page, hit the link to download the video again, and I still get the popup asking for my user name and password, which the message that the method may not be secure.
As far as I know, I've never been a member of a paysite that asks me for my user name and password, at the same time telling me that I am using a link that may not be secure.
I've been blocked in the past, because a paysite said either my username or password had been hacked.
So I don't want to get blocked again, by using a non-secure link to send this information, that is supposed to be confidential.
But I still want to download content, and this is frustrating.

Good quality pics and videos, nice women too though the scenes are rather boring. Doesnt seem to update very frequently and I reckon for the price a once ayear trip will enable you to get all the updates in one monthly go.
This is a very attractive looking site but browsing in the preview mode I have some doubts about the videos. 1080p Quicktime files are in some cases smaller than 200 megabytes when I'm used to single HD scenes being closer to one gigabyte in the least. Are they upscaled and heavily compressed or just very short?
I understand this used to be more of a photo site so could it be that those older videos despite their resolution were just a bonus?
