I don't see a discount offered for joining your site. PU can get you more members if you offer one. How about it?

Sorry, Havent been on in quite some time and not at all ignoring.
I could always fill out a form somewhere for you for you to test, but no longer a member and that isn't because I hated it.
I tend to jump from place to place not staying long.
But if you want to see what the problem is anyhow, let me know.

Replying with information is helpful. Threatening critics with "damages" is NOT.
I read reviews all the time and know from my limited computer experience that technical issues can come from several different sources including the user's own computer, etc.,not just the websites, so an angry criticism with a moderate and thoughtful reply from a webmaster will get my attention in favor of the webmaster.
I join dozens of websites each year in search for interesting content and have had a few bad experiences, but mostly good, and some downright excellent.
Sharing our experiences is what we do at pornusers and I appreciate everyone's experiences, but can also downplay some user who is simply angry because his computer works poorly, and the customer service tries its best.
Being totally ignored by sites with problems is the most frustrating, but I simply share my experiences and move on to better sites.
Best wishes to you. I really do appreciate the excellent work done by so many webmasters and do understand the technical difficulties involved.

I am doing one now and it is 135 kb/sec max. Starts a little over 200 then drops.
I get 30 mbps down on my connection and I only have this problem with very little sites.
I puporsely went elsewhere before with no issues before making a comment.
Not saying the content is bad in any form, but just lacks in speed to me compared when I go elsewhere.

If this is the case, you owe at least six programs an apology – and possibly damages for false claims resulting in lost memberships.
I am going to have to agree that this comment is a bit worrisome from a customer's perspective. You are going to ask some one to pay damages for lost membership because they have an issue? The idea of suggesting it is scary. If this is the case, you owe at least six programs an apology – and possibly damages for false claims resulting in lost memberships. The guy is just saying that he had a problem. Usually when someone has a lot of problems the site offers to give them their money back, not the other way around.
That being said I do not think I will be joining your sites for a while. So in fact it was your own comment that caused you damages in loss of membership revenue.

See the difference in how you came across in both your posts. In the first your attitude seemed very arrogant, while in the second you appear to be a polite and helpful webmaster.
Your site will only really lose some technical credibility if others report the same issues. One person could just be an isolated incident, which you could be able to rectify to their satisfaction.
This is none of my business really, I only posted because I thought your response to Murr was quite threatening and a bad example of consumer relations. If you reply to your members in that fashion, you will only end up losing prospective members.
I hope the OP contacts you privately with more details, so you can try to fix his problems.

Quote - 'you owe at least six programs an apology – and possibly damages for false claims resulting in lost memberships'
^ Half threatening legal action on someone for a less than favourable report of your site speed, is not a very good way to encourage new members to your site(nice use of the word 'possibly' so its not a definate threat BTW). Its quite laughable that you think you could possibly win a claim for this.
Being apologetic would have been nice, instead of replying with a holier-than-thou attitude.
