I'd say that I've been ripped off - and for the very reasons that I now peruse TBP.com before joining any site. You go to some sites and they promise you the moon. You sign up and only then realize that you've way overpaid for the content actually provided.
Downloadable video content is the big draw for me and I've joined sites only to find out the video is streaming only or has that DRM crap - things that weren't properly disclosed on the website tour before signup. I'm grateful for sites such as this and TBP where I can find out a more unbiased opinion about a site before joining

Yea - they never say anything about trial access giving limited access to site...ok its only 4.95 for like a few days...but if you just gonna let me see like 2 full videos, then that should be in the initial advertizing

Did trial subscription to Spider XXX. It allowed 40 to 50 second clips only. Tried calling them and got the brush off. Unless they have changed their practices to allow longer clips, users should be wary about their trial subscriptions.

Well to be honest I put no becuase like some of the other guys I too have signed up for a trail only to find out that it was not full access and only gave the the first few minutes to each scene. Or a site that had what to appeared to be exclusive content only to find out that it was just a bunch of 3rd party low-end crap.
But in the end I think we balance it out. How many times have we hit the jackpot and sign up for a 3 day trail that gave full access to alot of content and leech all the videos (or pics) on the whole site with our download managers. I am sure the host lost out because he is the one who has to pay for the bandwith.
Thats the cool thing I like about TBP and PU. It helps me be a better leecher :)

Been ripped off a few times. Some of the sites promise you the world and they don't deliver. Rip offs are when you shell out good money and the vid quality is bad or when you can't download and they really don't tell it to you in the quest page.
There is this one site of a Canadian swinger chick - she is HOT and I have seen her as a guest in vids on other sites like the great Naughty Allie site - she rocked on that site. But when I decided to join her site I went around to lots of porn review sites and they made her site out to be one of the best. When I joined her site the navigation was bad, the vids were low quality and broken up into a thousand pieces and the actual content of the site was terrible! WTF?

Well only ripped off as in: "Come on in and get access to < insert number > exta sites for free!"
And they mention the names and they seem good and legit but then once you enter it's just some stupid fake live feed.
Other than that, no... not yet at least.

Same story, new verse. A site makes all sorts of claims on its welcome and tour: exclusive vids, exclusive models, all the downloads you want at great resolutions, etc.
Site fails to deliver AFTER you forked over your hard-earned cash. You quickly cancel your membership and kick yourself for wasting your money.

Yanks.com slammed me for almost a year's membership. I cancelled before my first month was up and somehow kept missing the fact that I was being rebilled. Lesson learned: Sure - use your debit card to pay for everything - but read the statements carefully - no matter how long they are

Not yet, hope i never do. I always ask for a cancellation e-mail when i cancel if i dont really know of the biller and i check real carefully for cross sales and i click around with caution to avoid any upgrades.
