Silly question!
One can basically find the equivalent of a porno mag online for free just by surfing. Unless of course you read the articles...Playboy anyone? Haven't seen it in years, but Mr. Hefner must be doing something right.

I have yet to even purchase my first porno/adult mag. The closest I've gotten to it was buying one of those car magazines.
But what's the use when you can Google an actress or a model's name, or just look at the front page of any adult website. Hell you could almost get the same effect by going on Myspace.

Because I so rarely buy them (I buy one every few years) I find them actually very stimulating initially. Too full of adverts though not great value for money.

Why ??? would I ?
Mo reason any more the pics online alone are far superior and for teh price of one or two mags I get a full month subscription .

No, magazines are hard to store. Five magazines are hard to hide from the girlfriend, but 20 gigs of porn can be easily hidden.

The only appeal for an adult magazine today is that fact that you can buy it, store it somewhere and it may gain value overtime. You can't say the samething for digital data on a computer. There are still collectors of older Playboys eventhough you can download the magazine online.

I have many subscriptions. I do not buy much in the stores though. No porn collection is complete with out hundreds of pounds of magazines!
I especial love the little cartons in them. Hustler has great cartons.
It seems most people so far are saying "why buy it I can get if free online?" Well, I can ask the same question about the porn we get online. Why but if we can certainly get most of it free somewhere else?
Besides the greatest thing about magazines is the are easy to take with you and view where computers can be a little more cumbersome. They are great will sitting on the can!

I haven't bought a skin mag in over a decade at this point. Why spend the $$ on it when for the same price you can get a website membership with a hell of a lot more content.
The sad part about the demise of the skin mag is/will be the little extras like the stupid yet funny "Letters to Penthouse", the cartoons, and some of the articles. In other words, the overall entertainment content of the mags is now being replaced by the more one dimensional world of downloads. I'm not complaining but it's just another aspect of life that's disappearing.

I have bought a few in the past that came with full length DVDs with them, though these are quite rare. They are good for computer-free situations when you need a quick fix.

I gave up buying magazines once the net came along. Just as Steinway's iron-framed grand piano put his main competitor out of business, so has the net rendered hard-copy magazines reduntant. There's no competition.

Never bought any. I was given a few years ago, but never thought of them as a really good source of material. I pretty much grew up on the internet though.

Never bought an adult magazine. Why buy a magazine when you get everything you need on the internet?

Subscribed to the digital equivalent for a while, but it just couldn't compare to the volume of free stuff available on the web.
