elonlybuster (0) I may join once to see what they have. Definitely wouldn't renew though.

Drooler (Disabled) The first choice says it well: "If it's good, why not?" If I happened to have missed a site before it went to total "archive" status and it has plenty of good exclusive content, then sure, I'd join.

Thing is, I don't think I've ever run across one. But you never know!

I have run across a smattering of sites that stopped updating during my membership. BalticBabes, for one. I wouldn't recommend that one.

ramscrota (Suspended) Quality is my first consideration. But if it's not updating, it's had the gong

mbaya (Disabled) I never join for more than a month anyway. If I like the content I would definitely join. However, if it doesn't update is there enough quantity? Do they care about the website? Several times I have asked webmasters if they update, and if they don't reply, they won't get my business.

lk2fireone (0) If a site has good material, then it can be worth joining for a month, even tho the site does not update.

After that month, when I've had the chance to download everything I want from the site, there's no longer any reason to be a member. Especially since the site is not updating.

Monahan (0) I did that, drained off what I wanted, then cancelled.

The bad part is that if I like the content I would like to see updates. The good part is that I know what I'm getting and what I won't be getting...and that's a good thing.

surferman (0) If it was a site that I liked the look of I would join, download what I wanted, and then make sure I cancel. I'd have to want the content pretty bad though, to make it worth a months cost, and also there would have to be enough content to make it worth while.

badandy400 (0) I tend to agree with most of you on this one. I will join a site that is not updating once and only once. Just because the site is stagnant does not mean it does not have junk material.

pat362 (0) I tend to be hesitant because I consider a site to no longer updating only if it has been more than 2 months since their last one. I weigh whether the content is worth the investment and hope that the site doesn't go belly up 3 days into my membership.

williamj (0) The customer service issue would scare me. Unless PU comments or reviews said the site was still maintained by a web master.

exotics4me (0) I marked yes since one of my highest rated sites is no longer updating with new material, just recycled material, Eve Angel. As a solo site, the site still has more content than nearly all solo sites with around 800 pic sets and nearly 500 videos. The reduced price of $15 makes it even better. I still never figured out why the webmaster of her site is trying to be deceptive by removing old material and then releasing it is "new" updates. Eve is a very noticeable maturing model. The content he is putting up as new now is from 4-5 years ago when she looked like a very innocent teen model, the "older" content he has up from 2007 is really the newest content they have of her. So it goes from 2007 content, she was about 25-26 in that content to 2008-2009 updates that she is 20-21 in.

The site still, especially for fans of Eve and that $15 price is one of porn's best buys, with or without updates. You could join for a month and download 15 videos 640 high end, 2000 bitrate, and 20 picture sets 2000+ high end zipped per day for a month and barely have all the content.

TrashMan (Disabled) New sites have set internet standards for porn sites, one of those is consistent update schedules. No updates = no membership...simple as that.

exotics4me (0) REPLY TO #12 - TrashMan :

The only thing I disagree with this is like with the site I listed above Eve Angel. With 1300 sets between pictures and videos, logically, most sites can't reach that amount of content in even 3 years with daily updates. If a site updates daily for 3 straight years, you have 365 days in a year x 3 years, would be 1,095 sets, while her site has around 1,300 sets. All the update really is, is an addition to the quantity of the site and amount of material available to the members. I could even use her site as an example of the bad side of needing daily updates. The webmaster of Eve Angel has removed the last year of old content and releases a set of it each day as "new" content, even though it was on the site for 2-3 years before the recycling started. Where the new members get screwed is if they just left the old content alone, there would actually be more content to download with the site not making daily updates. It looks like they have about 40 sets down right now that have been available on the site before and will release them over the next 40 days.

If they weren't trying to reach the "daily updated" status, there would be 40 more sets there for new members to download today. So there can be a bad side to daily updated as well since new members don't know if the content released in daily updates really is new or not.

Wittyguy (0) I follow the old dogma that if it's new to me it still counts as new. Obviously, I would not go back to such a site and I probably wouldn't pay $30 for a monthly membership to get the content. If the price was lower than I would strongly consider it.

PinkPanther (0) The problem with non-updating sites is that, even if the material is new to you, you're more likely to be dealing with a site that is being run as "Look Ma, no hands!", so not only will there be no updates, but no customer service, navigation that's breaking down, etc. So I'd be rather wary.

C Spanker (0) If I've never joined the site and want to download what they have then sure I'd join if the existing amount of content justifies the membership cost for one month. Then I'd cancel after the month and not look back.
