I love the idea, as well but they miss the "NAIL " on the head as it were.
I find that they get ppl over acting and it becomes comedy not sexy. I may be alone on that,

They obviously sell otherwise they wouldn't make as many as they do. For me, it's just an occasionally interesting gimmick since the acting is never very good and the plot is in the sex, not the story.

Parodies can be fun - but when porn flicks think that they're supposed to something other than porn flicks, they suck. There's a lot of people working on porn features that really wish they were working on non-porn stuff, so their porn work is lame. On the other hand, Scotty X's SuperDrunk with Susana Spears and Swamp Girls are both comedic and weird and funny and very sexy all at the same time, cause they're not trying to impress anybody at how close to the original they are - so they work.

I couldn't imagine actually jerking off to parody porn. It's just so silly. I watched the trailer for the Cosby show parody porno and it was kinda funny for a minute, but I wouldn't watch the whole movie.
I know they generate a lot of buzz and so people do buy them, but they are worthless to me.

The names of these films usually give me a laugh ('Lord of the G-Strings', 'Black Cock Down', etc.) but after that, I won't watch the actual film. While I'm basically a lover of gonzo to begin with, a porn film with a stupid plot is the last thing I want to see anyways. I don't mind some acting in a 'reality' type scene but spoofing is plain lame. While the scenes might be alright, I am not feeling these movies too much. Hence, my answer is as so.
