exotics4me (0) I guess when I very first started joining online sites it was more of an impulse. Hustler's site got me with an impulse join since I remember reading old Hustler magazines. Public Flash was an impulse since some of their preview sets were filmed in California in places I had been. Nowadays though, I usually just join the sites I'm familiar with and know I will like. So I picked "other".

nadiencendia (0) The answer would be the classic "it depends". Sometimes I see a site (often one that I've already joined in the past) and I feel like I have to join it immediately, like a fever or a hunger for it, and I join. Other times (specially with new sites) I am more rational: I take the tour, look in PU, consider the price, the time I will have to watch and download porn in the following month, and then I decide wether to join or not...

hodayathink (0) I don't have enough time or money to pay for a site as an impulse. I check the tour get an idea of whether or not I like the content, and if I do, I put it on a short list of sites to join in the future. Honestly, so far, I've only joined one of the sites on that list.

Sevrin (0) I don't think I've ever subbed to a site as soon as I come across it. If I did, I'd have way too many concurrent subscriptions.

Jay G (Disabled) Years ago when I first started joining sites I got burned with unfulfilled promises on a couple of sites. Started looking for reviews.
Found TheBestPorn and when PornUsers started I learned to check out a site and compare pretty thoroughly before joining. Now I look at Porn Users just about every day and wouldn't think of joining a site "on impulse."

Drooler (Disabled) My tale is pretty much like JayG's, and Exotics as an example though the sites were different. Now it takes me longer to join a site that ISN'T a typical impulse buy, which to me means "sight unseen" as far as content is concerned and the pun was intended.

This year, one impulse buy was TheLifeErotic. I regretted that. Had gone ahead based on the photographer's name, Walter Bosque. His WalterBosque-Art site has images (jpgs) with better quality for sure.

PinkPanther (0) I've joined a couple of sites on impulse, but most sites that I've joined, I'd thought about joining for a while - checked the tour for updates, checked out various sample sites, etc, checked reviews, etc.

yote78 (0) If anything, I probably take TOO long to join a website and end up denying myself the benefits of full membership. I usually scope it out for a while, doing things like what Pink Panther describes such as going to the tour for updates, reading reviews, checking out TGP sites that have clips from the site. I used to do short-term trials but invariably I ended up joining anyway so I don't do that anymore.

Problem is, when I do all that I usually end up finding other sites that interest me almost as much and then I'm even more conflicted about joining the first one. (But isn't it great there's so many hot sites to choose from?)

If I bought a subscription to every website I've thought about joining I'd be broke!

messmer (Disabled) At first it was on impulse, now I wait so long it's ridiculous but that's because I never found THE site.

Many of them have part of what I want but never everything I want and so I keep looking and looking until I finally end up, not with my perfect site, but with what seems a reasonably acceptable compromise that usually ends up disappointing me bitterly as the month goes on.

badandy400 (0) This is something that varies a lot for me. At times I think about a site for weeks at a time before getting around to it. Other times I see a site and just jump right into it without a second thought.

funkyman (0) Few times impulse and I regreted it later so now much more often I think about it first for some time and try to find what other thinks.

pat362 (0) I'm like many of you. I often got burned when I first started surfing the net and would join sites because I like the performer or it looked good. It took a while to realise that it looks good or she's a great performer rarely translate to a good investment. These days I keep track of a site for months and sometime years before I join. I guess the old expression fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.

james4096 (Suspended) I've been known to do the impulse thing now and again. And I usually regret doing so very quickly.

But sometimes I'll spend a few weeks coming back to a site every other day almost joining because I'm not sure.

Denner (0) My IMPULSE is certainly still there - and even after this long time at the game, I still get 'burned' - well, bad luck - and never again at that site - so maybe that's why so many here return to well known sites....again and again and again....

RagingBuddhist (Disabled) Ever since losing my good job, I've had to learn the discipline of not jumping at something I want. Money's tight and I think about buying anything for quite a while.

lk2fireone (0) I definitely think about a site before I join it. What do the contents look like, what's the price, what do the reviews at PU say? There are so many sites out there, and if money was no object, then I would be joining a huge number of sites. But since money is limited, I often stick with established sites, many of which I've joined previously.

apoctom (0) Definitely use PU and TBP to find out if it is worth it. Then consider if I have enough time to enjoy that subscription (if I am already on more than one site). I like to focus on the sites, one at a time.

nostromo (0) I think over it with such an intensity, considering pros and cons, putting together endless ramifications and possible consequences of such an irresponsible act, that i end up exhausted. the abovementioned has not avoid myself from joining countless pornsites.
