When consumer video cameras first came out, my lover and I made a hot fantastic porn tape we both just loved. Later we married and had kids and needed to destroy it so no kid would ever see it by accident. I still miss it, even though it needed to be destroyed.
In a different situation I would have loved to produce and direct porn. That would have been my ultimate fantasy. Once you have kids, though, the culture we live in in the mid-west is pretty puritanical and we had to be more private about sexuality. My real life is too good to mess up, however, and I'll keep that production stuff a fantasy.

I think in an off-camera and unheard capacity it could be fun and rewarding (or horrifying and demeaning, the porn world's your oyster) but on camera--no way!
I'm not sure if it's physically possible for me to be in shape, much less in a toned, tanned, and 'roided condition. I think working in a job where my coworkers have to spend their time either looking at my ass or maneuvering a camera next to it just isn't worth it. And if real life is any indicator I would probably be out of job once the women realized they never want to have sex with me again.
So...screenwriter, editor, director: yes! Actor, stunt double: no!

Much to the chagrin of my bosses, I frequently tell people that I was once a porn star. I susoect that there are dozens of people I work with who belive that. Sadly, no summer students have heard that story and tried to show me their cheerleader outfits.

I sometime think how I would have directed a porn scene but that's me daydreaming. The reality is that I have no interest in working anywhere in the porn biz and certainly not in front of a camera.

I've often thought in the past that i'd quite like to get behind a camera and try my hand at shooting some soft glamour style pics if i could find someone willing to model for me although i don't really have any technical photographic knowledge. No interest in any other aspect of the business or performing though.

If I think about this more, I'd have no issues working some high position on some bigger company like Vivid or maybe doing something entirely non porn related as a side job to them, music for example if I had the talent for that.
