Absolutely. Ease in canceling is my primary concern and I always check how easy it is to cancel before joining a site. I don't want to spend an hour or more trying to figure out how to cancel a subscription or deal with unexpected credit card charges.
Since many spanking sites turned to INET Cash I haven't joined them because INET Cash does not have an easy method for canceling. Instead it use email, a method that too often is like throwing letters down a well and hoping something comes up. My experience is that the majority of on-line web-sites and billers ignore email.
My experiences at hundreds of sites over the years with CCBill and Epoch have been very good and Kink.com has an easy method of cancellation. These are the sites I tend to join lately.

There's no sense in me writing my opinion on this issue. Jay G nailed it exactly.

I picked rarely because I've used many different CC processors over the years and I've never had any problems with cancellation on any of them except the Playboy site. This is the only time where I actually had to call and speak to a person to cancel my online membership. Here's a list of some of the ones I've used: Epoch, CCbill, Segpay, Zombaio and a few others.

I am more comfortable joining a site if I'm familiar with the credit card processor: CCBill, Epoch, and Segpay are the main ones I've used, and I've never had any problems with any of those companies.

The 3 processors i have used mostly are CCBill, Epoch and Segpay and i would be very cautious about joining any site that doesn't use one of those. I stay away from sites who do their own billing as i'm not sure i would want porn sites having my credit card details.

Generally it does. i'll only go for a processor that I've heard of (positively of course).

Hah! Some payment processors, such as vxsbill won't even let me join, although my cc is perfectly ok.
You will get: "The information you have provided can not be verified by our system. Please check for typing errors or missing information by pressing the back button. If you are sure the information you have provided is correct, click on next for a manual check by our operators."
Yeah right... and when you click on next and then? nothing happens...
The payment processor as big disappointer

Without going in to a lengthy set of instructions ...
Go to the PU home page. Along the right you'll see a search box "Easy Site Search". Try putting the site name in there. That'll generally get you pointed in the right direction to find that site's listing page. It's on the listing page that you'll see remarks specific to that site.
Hope that helps.

Somewhat, I guess because my libido can be stronger than my desire to have sound finances. I guess we've all been there.
: - )
I haven't joined in a while, but I seem to remember ALSScan using its own processor or some exclusive processor, and it's a very popular site here, so clearly it doesn't scare us away. Bottom line, if I really want access to a site, I'll take the risk, it certainly wouldn't be the first time. (I'm also don't have a wife to review the CC bill with, does that make a difference?)
Plus, you can always dispute charges with your card company, probably even more so if its from a website. Though a lengthy history of porn subscriptions you never disputed might not help...

The main processors like CC Bill do indeed provide easy methods to cancel etc. and I would also have assumed them to be ok.
A proper means of cancelling is a basic expectation so whilst the bigger companies do offer this the real test is when something goes wrong. My recent experience of CC Bill is that they do no more than send out routine emails and basically are unresponsive in any meaningful way.
So they are all turds. It is just the case that some have got a bit more polish on them.

I'm with pat362 on this - most sites I've joined use CCbill, but there have been a few others and I've yet to have any trouble cancelling. So I guess rarely; although with a different biller I'll check cancellation procedures beforehand and skip it if anything seems fishy.

Alot especially if i think the site is somewhat shady. At least i know i will be able to cancel and not be double charged if i dont like content.

I take the chances of getting sites with CCBill more than any other sites.
