Never. They are too small in capacity and actually HD's at least used to be cheaper.

All on externals for me too. What I have now would fill thousands of DVDs I suspect, so storing and cataloguing them would be a nightmare.

Never - everything's on an external drive, if I want to watch on the big screen I can just plug it into the PS3 and play from there.

I'm like everyone else. External hard drives are the easiest and cheapest and fastest way to store. And trying to burn and manage a library of DVDs would be a nightmare.

Only watch porn at the pc - so no need with enough external hd-space...

I was burning things to CD's, but that's been stopped by my CD-RW going zombie recently. My only reason for doing it is because hard drives crash. Several of mine have over the years.
I'd hope that I'd never need to restore the content to a new hard drive, though. Jeez, what a long time that would take!
I'm reminded of Wittyguy's "word from our sponsors" during last year's PUey awards -- the picture of the guy on the fire ladder, coming out of a window with his PC clutched in his arms and the caption, "Porn. It's that important!"

I only burn them unto dvd so that I can play them on my dvd player and watch them on my big screen tv. I don't save any data on cd or dvd because I have 2 external drives for that.

I seldom buy dvd's anymore. The only DVD's I bought in the last several years were of the interactive type and a I used a DVD ISO mounting tool to make a fake drive and that way was faster. But I do not copy my dvd otherwise.
Now as far as duplicating what I download? I have my PC hooked up to my TV so I can play porn etc right from my PC to my big screen if I want along with two other pc screens I have also hooked up. No need for burning since I can click and watch.

Other: I did once, a long time ago, but was not comfortable about having a Porn DVD lay around the house, and all that deleting and over-writing to make sure no one would find Porn on a disk once I was gone just proved to be too much of a pain in the neck.

Beware.... the number of times I have had an external HDD fail on me... Sometimes DVD's or some other storage medium are the best bet.

Used to back up all my stuff on CDs. Then later added them also on external storage as well.
Neither are fool-proof. Discovered CDs deteriorate and external drives don't make it sometimes during a system restoring process.

I DL that bitch to my external..It's not a big deal if it fails, I have it on another drive somewhere...or I'll just have to start over. NBD. Once I lost 500 gigs of porn. At first I cried out loud, then I showered, then I sobbed into my pillow, then I said...Oh well..fuck it.

Ditto Watson.
I rely on external hard drives for all my stash and burn DVD's for the "really special" ladies and scenes.

I don't see any reason why you would burn it to DVD. I mean even if your HDD crashes you can always re-subscribe.
DVD's are a medium of the past in my opinion. Then again my PC streams directly to my HD TV so no issues with DVD players or so.

I do, I've had so many problems with an external HDD or data on my computer getting lost and I've had to start a new membership.
