Never. I've got a feeling that the people who make them are mostly the ones who cannot keep them.

Yes sometimes but I know as I make them I'll never keep them! It's the wrong time of year to be making resolutions anyway - Christmas is over, the weather is still lousy (at least where I live!) for a few months yet, you've used up most of your vacation allowance, and now you're going to resolve to give up smoking or lose weight or whatever!
I never remember my new years resolutions after a while anyway!

I used to but not so much in the last few years. It's pretty much agreed on that most New Year resolutions are usually a bad idea. This is not the right time to make them because we are normally in a party mood.

When I have, it was to get things done and it just happened to be on or near Jan. 1st. I've long given up on making resolutions to stop doing things, as those are borne of guilt, and I'd rather not get too heavily into feelings like that during the festive holiday season.
I rather like the Japanese idea: Just forget the previous year. And considering the 2011 they had, I'll bet they'd want to.

I have only one...to clean out the garbage in my porn stash so I don't need yet another external hard drive.

I used to make them years ago but after breaking every resolution within a day or two I simply gave up.
And now that I am older I embrace even my imperfections .. I can easily live with them.

From time to time, but rarely follow through. Eating better is my usual resolution.

I am one of those millions who make a resolution and never keep it. I do it every year, yet I don't feel insane even if it fits the very definition. (chuckle)

I never understood why humans feel the desire to put a date on changes in their life. Time is only relevant to us and nothing else we do will change how we are treated by time. So waiting to make a change does not really do anything.
