Usually when I try too hard to find material of my favorite model, Eve Angel, I find myself frustrated once I get on a site that has her, but everything they have, I already have from another site. The only other time is when I join a niche site and become bored with it after seeing pretty much the exact same thing over and over.

Normally i signup after seeing some promotional stuff and if i didnt see that in site or very few then i get frustrated do this.

I don't have a ton of money, so I do lots of research before I join a site. I don't engage in impulse buying, though sometimes it's tempting. =) Still, I treat myself to a new site every few months, and there are times I've been seriously disappointed.

It happens quite often that I join a site and it's not at all like I expected it to be.
Of course this can be good as well as bad.
But it's more often bad than good. Well, it used to be before I found this place.
So it doesn't happen that often anymore.

I must say that quite often I have been very dissapointed with a site I've joined. The problem is that far to many of the kind of sites I like seems to be dominated/owned by the same ring of people, that lauches new sites under diffent companies every now and again. These sites I then join with great expectations, only to yet again find a site with 5 exclusive movies and then alot of non-exclusive contents that also appeared on the last many sites I have joined.

I have to qualify my "quite often" buyers remorse.
For the last year or so I've been doing my homework by reading information at Best Porn/Porn Users before buying and haven't had ANY bad experiences. Before that I'd get scammed about one out of three times and disappointed by sites that had DRM or only streaming video, or weren't what they promised to be, among other issues.
Thanks to Best Porn and all the great porn users' reviews I've been able to avoid the scams lately.

Even with a lot of research it's difficult not to get disapointed once in a while.
Therefore always I dig deep into reviews - but thats no garantee. I often look for special models and that can be dangerous, 'cause you get tempted to easy

I always try to do my homework starting with TBP reviews. I'll check out other review sites to see if there is agreement. If I believe there is value, I will join. On occasion, the reviews miss some aspect that causes disappointment. Since paying attention to the reviews, however, I have experience less buyers remorse.

I had the same problem when a babe turned me on and a search found her website. I'd say "what the Hell" if the whack was $19.95 or less and was always, literally, disappointed by the crap. That's when TBP becomes my go/no go source.
I still have situations where I was negatively surprised by unadvertised limitations. The most recent case was "Girls Love Toys" where I discovered that zip downloads were not available unless you renew at least once. That sucks and was not mentioned in TBP's review or in the preview material. That's why I posted a review of this otherwise high quality site so that I could alert others to that fraudulent practice. (The volume of content is not sufficient to stay a member for more than one month so the fraud is clearly to whack you for an extra month if you like downloading photos.)
Conversely, I've signed up for sites based on TBP reviews where I intended to stay only one month but have stayed on much longer, which I guess one can call "Buyers Delight." (Sexy-Babes/Babelicious, etc. is one significant example.)
Caveat Emptor is alive and well in the Porn Site biz.

I think I tend to have really high expectations for sites and very often become dissappointed once I've joined. That's especially true when a site is more expensive, but I think that's understandable. I've definitely learned my lesson with more expensive sites that what you see in a tour isn't always what you really get. I think that's why I've stuck to cheaper sites recently, especially networks, so I don't feel stiffed. However, that can keep me from finding real gems.

I don't get caught often these days, but that's because I almost never join until I've read a review of a website. I remember some unpleasnt memories of wasting 20$ on crappy websites.
Not to bash pornstars, because more often than not they aren't administring their own sites, but I find that these are usually the ones which disapoint the most.

To be honest, most porn isn't very good, because the guys making it don't have an inkling of what's erotic, this includes the porn valley people as well as websites.With hardcore video, it seems to be made for the male actor's pleasure, which ruins the effect. They're always ruining the shot, and who here really enjoys watching these guys pull their own puds????? And yet it's in every damn HC video. As for the "softcore" photo sites, how many gynecological closeups do you need in a single set?? Sometimes there are are like 20! And all the circus poses! I don't want to see a contortionest, i want to see a hot girl! My point? They all copy one another, and when i take material from a site, i always have to edit it. Most sites don't deliver very well, IMO.

I try to keep the remorse in check by mostly rejoining sites that I know are good at $5 per month. For example, I'll resubscribe for four months of new stuff at a $20 site. Six is a long wait for the $30 sites, and sometimes I give in early, but it's still better than "Hey, why not? ... Aw shit."

I add to your points of criticism galleries of softcore photos of the women looking away from the camera 40, 60, 70% of the time, as well as unexplainable cropping. The image is clear, the babe is hot, the pic is huge, her beautiful round ass is ... cut halfway at the cheeks! What is this bullshit?? (MetArt just had one like this of Marina/Euphrat; the other pic cut half of her head off. Fucking ridiculous!)
That's just one example of THOUSANDS.

I expect quality for my money - after the line: You get what you pay for. Cheap sites: no good - expensive sites: good.
But thats not reality.
One bummer for exampel is the new Explicite Art - french site. Some new design does not count for the content which is downhill lately in my opnion.
Just joined Teen Flood. What crap! for 29.99.
Whereas Xisty (just an exampel) you get five days to download good stuff for 9.99.
But bottum line: This PU together with TBP might save us all some money when we look for good sites.

I generally take a long time when looking round preview pages as money is fairly tight for me. If a site is expensive I'll check it out even more thoroughly but if it's cheap I'll sometimes take the risk. Occasionally I'll make a bad choice and regret it. However, even if a site is bad there is normally something worth downloading from it.

If you find that you signed up and paid for a totally sucky website go immediately to the site's support page and look for the Customer Service number (or CC Bill's customer service number). Call 'em up and tell them you don't want to be a member and please close your account and refund your money.
I've done that and occasionally have had success in closing the account and getting a credit back within 5-7 days.
If it works, fine. If not, it's definitely worth a shot, isn't it?

Too bad that TeenFlood doesn't do that limited time offer for $9.99 anymore. I think it was just for 3 days. Anyway, agreed, there is a lot of crap on it. A lot of the photo stuff from the past year or so can be seen on sites like TeenDreams, Zexy (forgot the rest of it, but don't bother), Twistys, and AmateurKingdom (AMK), but AMK at least has better quality versions than lousy TeenFlood. I think Xisty and maybe even Babelicious has some of it, too.

Makes me realize how much it has changed since the '70s. The full length porn films back then more often had more human portrayals of people and were generally more sensual (a popular term then). These days, we've got fuck bunnies captured with technology that's a lot more efficient for rapid production of fuck-bunny formula flicks, but the viewer winds up having to relate to them as a fuck bunny, too.
There are subtleties of erotic experience that get lost when the basic idea is only, and always, to go at it like a crazed animal and do the weird shit that is just considered popular.
I must say that some of the girls really do their best to relate to viewer under the present circumstances.
And I agree about the annoyance of the "circus poses." I think, what is this? PT Barnum in the 21st century?
Another thing is taking the camera right down to the girl's finger-stretched asshole, then spitting in it. Ecccchhh. That's not sex; that's just decadence.
