I don't watch it on the TV. But I just got a new PC, with a new, larger monitor. I think the monitor is 24".

I've never tried TBH I'm not even sure I'd know how to connect my computer to the TV and for some reason burning to DVD never occurred to me - though I have way too many DVDs already!

4 months ago I decided to turn a spare bedroom into a porno cinema with the intention of putting the nasty smut on the big screen to entertain my lady friend. I think we have used it twice in that time :( So I practically dont watch it on TV but those 2 times I used my laptop connected via HDMI.

Any helpful person tell me if I can plug my laptop into an old CRT TV, or do I need to get with the program and update to a modern TV with a HDMI input? I know my laptop has an HDMI out socket.

I have a direct connection to several options, one being tv
or the PC, or networked to other screens if ever was needed plus my xbox360 can access my porn to wirelessly. Each has access to varied sound systmes, pc speaker, stereo speakers , TV speakers, or wireless headphones and mic/headphones. I am sure I am missing something but I love my gadgets. Oh yea they all have remotes.

I use a long HDMI cable with my laptop and have a media center PC in the bedroom, although my bedroom TV is smaller thank lk2's monitor, so it ain't exactly great.

You can get the equipment to do it but its not as simple as buy a cable and plugging it in. It will most likely be cheaper to buy a TV with a HDMI port.

Well I'm happy with the old Sony CRT for now - but when it dies I'll make sure my new one has a HDMI port - at least I know my laptop has one already!

Watching porn on TV is rare for me, but on one TV I had a WD HD thingy that I use and on the other I have a 20' SVGA cable that I plug into my laptop. I prefer the laptop because the WD thing only reads codec 9 in WMV files. Many of the scenes I have use older codecs.

I don't really have TVs. I have A/V setups in 3 rooms with A/V recievers, Tivos, stream-capable Blu-Ray players, and game consoles. One setup is a dedicated A/V room with the setup bove, plus a PC, a projector and 12 foot projection screen.
The problem with TV and TV related services is that they are too clean. I can get PPV porn on any hotel TV, but not in my own home because Amazon and the other mainstream vendors won't carry it. Huge, huge, HUGE market opportunity when you consider what VCRs did for the industry.
