If their tour has broken images, it shows a carelessness toward their business in one of the most crucial aspects of their business (attracting new customers) so I expect that the same carelessness will carry over to other parts of their business, like regular updates, support, et cetera. Just like how you can judge a Brick & Mortar store's quality with a quick look at the cleanliness / quality of their bathroom (note: this doesn't apply to businesses that are owned by non-Westerners), you can judge the quality of a porn site by the time and thought put into their tour pages.

If they cannot even do their public front and advertisement properly, they are even more likely to be sloppy when you've already paid.

I've never actually come across such a situation, but if I did then yes it would very much put me off joining for the reasons above - the preview page is a crucial selling tool and if they can't get it right, then it's unlikely to be a site worth joining.

I pick sometimes but this is a bordeline question where unless I know the site then I will probably do like you guys and assume that a bad preview is likely to equal a bad site.

I never come across this either, I see broken images after I join and will irritate me. But would seem any site that is that careless of the one chance to grab new customers by giving the best and their best is poor production? Well its a no brainier i'm out of there.

If images are broken, then I can't see them. And if I can't see them, then I know less about what I might be getting if I joined -- assuming they aren't broken in the members' area, too.
The only net increase in learning about the site is the knowledge that it is run by flakes.
"Don't join a site that's run by flakes," is good advice, no?

Definitely - it suggests a long out of date site, that nobody is maintaining. Granted, if the content is good, a monthly membership still could be worth it; but usually there's no good tour on such sites, so no way of knowing.

Agree with the rest of the crowd. I would add that I would not join if the site had this kind of issue but would come back in a few days or a week. If the issue has been fixed then I would forgive them. If the issue still remained then there would be no chance I would join a site who is lazy and unprofessional.

It depends. If it's just one image tucked away somewhere, I'd probably give it the benefit of the doubt, but if there's more than one, or it's in an obvious place etc, I would be quite cynical about the website as there could be links to galleries not working once inside.
