I don't mind them that much as long as they aren't the type that either block the content and make you click something before you can continue or intermingled in such a fashion that it is difficult to tell what is ad and what is content.

Generally I hate them but ads are everywhere these days. If there is a kind that I can tolerate, it's like the promotional ones on 21Sextury that actually give you a better price on some other site.

I don't mind a few, so long as they're obviously ads and not trying to trick you into thinking it's additional membership content. If an ad means I discover another porn site, then IMHO that's a good thing.

Ads can really slow down the experience. 21SExtury.com has to be one of the most memory hogs. And they try and sell you stuff allllllll the way along. I look at it this way you want to send me and email why I am an active member with offers ok fine. I paid for the site access , the TOS never says beware annoying pops up and ads in site. I think it is a great marketing tool for webmasters. I think its a pain in the ass for members. Subtle is ok, but the site I mention made it annoying and interfered with downloads and even watching something. It is slowly becoming my number 2 pet peave. 2nd to directors talking the whole time and guys yapping it up.

I'd much rather they didn't exist but a few are okay since most if not all porn sites need the money they get from those adds to survive.

I agree with a Pat. A few are al right, but they need to stay out of my way. Also it needs to be made clear that it's an ad for it to be ok.
I think I a site that does this well is Naughty America. They have some ads, but their confined to the margins, and not a pain (at least not when I was a member a few months back).

It's a common element of most websites these days and have become a whole lot less annoying these days. But too many kills my tolerance.

Ads are like weeds. They will grow anywhere they can. If I say "a few are OK" then you'll hear my voice fading as I slide down the slippery slope.
To me, having paid for a site membership carries a contractual implication that I've paid for the experience of getting the content without the distraction of ads, just as it is when you pay for an app on your mobile or for a book (the kind with bound, paper pages).

I don't mind a few at the bottom of the home page, especially if they are offering discounts for other sites. Any more than that, and I get annoyed.

Give ads their own page. If I am paying for a site, I should be able to avoid the ads.

I don't mind if the sites are relevant and discounts are offered. I was recently subscribed at babes.com and on one hand, they rather annoyingly tried to cross sell stuff each time you logged in. But on the other, once logged in, they had only some discreet ads, and a separate page listing all their linked offers - some good ones - which is OK.

For me, a few are OK, providing they are vetted to be somewhat relevant.
I can't say I like it though.

I don't like them but fair dos sometimes as if it makes the sites more money and they then get to stick around producing more porn for us, I accept it and as long as its not over done its ok.

If there are a very few, and they offer a nice discount, then, ok, I don't mind too much. But there are some sites where it's hard to tell the ads from the site contents, and the pages get so cluttered, it's hard to navigate.
I know sites need to make money. But I already paid my membership fee, so I don't want to have to slog through a bunch of ads I don't need to see.

Gonna have to say i hate em'.
One un-named site had an ad for some online storage and i signed up at the advertised site and ended up finding out it was a scam..
And then there are the member "specials". Like 20.00€ is some special.. special discount my ass.

Few are okay, but there isn't much sites I've been to that have ads.
