I think porn may have turned me bisexual :O

I've been a fan of porn for about 25 years now starting with softcore top shelf mags in the UK and now downloading hard core from videobox and such but Ive noticed something recently that is begining to worry me.

I found myself spending too much time *admiring* the mens cocks, fantasising about the cocks inside my ass, pumping my butt

but then i feal dirty for having those evil thoughts in my head but I cant help it

I even when looking at videoboxmen and enjoyed looking at the previews.

I still find women just as atractive and just as much of a turn on as I always did and always will be I just cant help looking at those long cocks and wishing them inside me

Oddly enough, I was just reading something today on CNN today that sort of relates. Perhaps it will be of interest to you. I hope linking to CNN is okay.

The last person out of the closet? The bisexual male

Apparently being a bisexual is no walk in the park. There's an odd story in that article about a gay softball team losing their second place ranking in the Gay Softball World Series of 2008 because some of their members were bisexual.

There are a lot of cocks waved about in straight porn, and when you're turned on it can get confusing, although the thing about wanting them up your butt is not something I've experienced.

I suppose that you could try and cut down on the porn and see if you still think about guys in your everyday life. Or you could think about the members here. That image should scare you straight in no time.

If you just want something up your butt, there's always this.

Well, I am not sure it 'turns' guys bisexual but hardcore porn does expose viewers to a ton of erections. And if you read some of our threads on condoms in porn and a lot of users' distaste for their use (myself included ) you get the feeling they are anything but just a stunt cock. Eventually our arguments seem to be based on how we don't like the way condoms look...not that we care about the guys' equipment!

Don't ask me; I don't understand human sexuality either. "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual. i remember reading Marvin Harris, some 15 years ago, and he cited studies which show that teenagers think about sex -or picture a sexual fantasy- at least once every five minutes or so. Somehow, i don't think males get much more detached from sex when they age.

Therefore, it's only natural to have on occasion a homosexual fantasy, not necessarily of yourself sodomizing a man or being sodomized by one, but, nonetheless, some sort of sexual fantasy -the diversity of sexual fantasies is tropical, as we all know-, or experiencing attraction towards a man. I guess what we usually do is reject said fantasies with both hands and uncomfortably wait till' some woman catches our attention and erases such a disturbing feeling. You're being serious right?

Then just go with it.

I sort of envy you. A new world has opened up for you. It's like discovering porn/sex all over again.

I dug said movie so much that after renting it i bought several copies: for myself, family and friends. Puritanism: The haunting fear that someone, somewhere, may be happy.

I'd be surprised if I'm the only person but after having watched porn for 2 decades. I can safely say that not once was I in turned on by the sight of a penis or that I somehow developed a desire to screw a guy or get screwed by a guy. I watch porn and there are penises but these are there because there is a girl that is about to perform a BJ or get penetrated by said penises. If the oroginal poster was being honest then he might be the first case of a man getting homosexual fantasies from watching straight sex films. Long live the Brown Coats.

One, why would he lie about it? Two, I'm pretty sure there have many guys before now who've discovered their bisexuality while watching straight porn. What we're attracted to doesn't stay static - tastes change. That could easily be applied to one's sexuality. Sarcasm is a body's natural defense against stupidity.

Perhaps it's the difference between ...

turned me bisexual

and

discovered their bisexuality

The first implies porn is directly responsible which I find as hard to beleive as someone saying they "turned gay" because they sat beside a gay person on the bus.

I've heard you can catch STD sitting on a dirty toilet seat. But that's the first time I heard you can catch "being gay" by sitting next to one on a bus.
Have there been a lot of doctors who have studied this, that can best tell us how to be "better safe than sorry"?
Using the pre-cut paper forms at a public restroom might help with the toilet seat. But what do you use on a bus?

I'm afraid that Khan will be responsible for any nightmares I'm going to have tonight.

I'm not an expert so this is purely congesture on my part but although your taste in women may change over time. I don't think you start to find your own gender attractive at any time if it wasn't already there. From the way the poster wrote his story. He was never attracted to males in the past and it's only recently that he's fantasized about guys F..g him. Long live the Brown Coats.

Some people grow an immunity to what originally turned them on in the first place. Overdosing yourself with what you like most, for some people it then makes them want to "go further".

I'm bi, I knew that from a young age, and I have been with lots of women on the scene and off, but nothing beats a good hard cock!

I do know now, that I used to visit swingers clubs, first I played like a kid in a sweet shop, then I started getting "selective", then I became voyeur and now I'm a lifestyle Domme constantly educating myself with all things new in BDSM.

So tastes can change for sure!

Is this about some kind of suppression? ....Guess not..., still?
I remember in those years of 'liberation of porn' and the period of hippies....love one another and do not suppress your feelings and what not.... LOVE!

It was a period of confusions - also for young males - not to be with that one girl - but share everything! Did that do somethings to someone??

And then came these decades of free porn - the latest years - all the porn you can dream of - on the net...
I do not buy that one about every male has a latent homosexuality - but certainly SOME straight ones have - so some go to ladyboy-tranny stuff to get a new/another kick - it may work for some - if not....well....? Then to some gay stuff?

Never got there myself - maybe that thing when reaching 50, not sure...
But bottom line: Everybody has a right to go for their own thing/feelings in love/sex/erotics - and go for it! - if that's your preference - and do NOT care what others may say... It's a FREE WORLD - or it should be... "I don't drink anymore - I freeze it, and eat it like a popcicle" Edited on Jun 30, 2010, 08:21am

Well, I'm sure the homophobes would suggest they not ride the bus in the first place, not that they are being discriminatory or anything!

I seriously doubt anybody's sexuality was changed or caught, as the case may be, but I am sure plenty have discovered their homophobia or simply the intense fear of their own inexplicable feelings and emotions. Nobody seems to be able to really explain why they love something, or why something turns them on, or even why they are just curious, and in a culture of sexual identity absolutism--you either are or you're aren't, end of story--curiosity is a no-no. To some curiosity equates to full-fledged enthusiastic activity...that has yet to actually occur. To the more rational it just means you're curious, not 'converted' to the 'other side' (because apparently there's a war going on in all of this).

Plenty of people fantasize about far more extreme things than sex, like "That asshole just cut me off! I'd love to go up to him and kick his face in!" but that doesn't make that person violent or murderous. Thinking and doing are two very different things, so don't get too stressed out about fantasy or thoughts.

And if you're really curious...wear a condom, or if you have an open-minded girlfriend discuss it with her and try a little role reversal. Just be careful not to send her from the room screaming and sobbing if you ask. "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual. Certainly without any choice. That's the way your hardcore Commie works." - Gen. Jack D. Good points. Even with the relative anonymity I hesitated from chiming in on this post because of all the stigma around this topic. There really is no reason for it though. Sexual thoughts/discussion about the same sex shouldn't be anymore taboo than talking about the opposite sex.

I'm heterosexual but over the years I've had curiosity about homosexuality. When those thoughts are over however I usually end up back at "yuck!" and go back to the women. I also do have preferences about the men in hetero sex scenes. Is this some latent bisexual tendency? I doubt it but who cares if it is!

Oh, I also meant to add there is a definite double standard in this area between men and women. If you know a sexy woman who "experimented" with lesbian sex in college but is now dating your male buddy you probably won't give it a thought. If you're talking about a guy who experimented in college with gay sex and is now dating a female friend of yours you'll think hes gay, end of story. If he's dating women now he must be repressed. I agree, for some reason women get a free pass in this regard. You have to be outright blind in order to ignore women's homosexual tendencies when they are teenagers.

And, yes, the: "If ever once you felt attraction towards a man -regardless of what attraction may entail- you just don't like women" adage it's trite to say the least.

I don't know how to multiquote, that's why above it reads null instead of Goldfish Puritanism: The haunting fear that someone, somewhere, may be happy.

I could be wrong and that wouldn't be the first time but I think it's significantly more common for girls to be bi than it is for guys. It's one thing for a man to say that he's thought about what it would be like to be with another man and the actual acting out of that fantasy. I think there are still some lines that guys do not cross. Long live the Brown Coats.

Not to mention I think it's mandatory every female porn site Web master is bisexual by default. LOL.

I think it's just more acceptable for girls to be bisexual, or at least be more open about it, or simply just experiment if they feel like it, whereas guys risk the dude-you're-a-fag label if we just think it--that line's pretty clear. But even the most jaded male homophobe will probably get at least a little pleasure out of seeing a couple of hot girls go at it...talk about love conquers all! "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? I do think there is plenty of stigma around homosexuality for women as well. It's just portrayed a little differently by society.

I think a lot of guys have at least wondered about it. The vast majority will not admit it because we all "know" that it automatically makes a guy gay.

It might be something to bring up to your girlfriend/wife, assuming you have one. Ask her to use a strap on. It would be safer and likely much easier to convince macho friends that you are in fact not gay.

I spend a lot of time watching girl on girl porn. It seems that people do not make as much fuss about that rather than guy on guy. But that is a whole other point.

I would say to try toys first. That might be enough for you. If you need more, try the strap on. This way you can try to get what you want without involving another man and the "yuck" feeling you get after thinking about it. "For example, badandy400 has taken it upon himself to become the one man Library of Congress for porn with a collection that surely will be in Guinness Book of World Records some day." ~Toadsith~

I suggested this earlier as well, just remember tread lightly if she does a double take and then asks "You want me to do what now?" But I'm betting some guys have gone down this road already, if just so they can get (or is it give?) the equal treatment in return if they are pushing to do anal with their girlfriends. Bit of a random thought here to add to the mesh... I don't actually remember the movie name off by heart, but I do remember this fantastic quote...

It was two guys arguing in a bar about the theory that all men are bisexual to some degree... one of the men vehemently disagrees, as most 'alpha male' types would... but the second asks what he likes to see in porn... a limp dicked looser with a pathetic two inch floppy trying to please a woman... or a guy with a big, thick, throbbing cock hammering away at the woman...

The first man quickly states that he wants big thick cocks in his porn and have way through saying it realises what he's saying and is horrified by what he's just admitted...

Possibly the best scene I've seen in a movie in a while, but damned if i can remember what movie it was in...

With all due respect to our honorable member who began this thread, and especially for the courage it took to appeal to others for help on this touchy matter, I hope he won't mind if I use it for a related inquiry:
Suppose a man finds himself developing a strong sexual feeling toward his same gender but.......cringes at the thought of having a male penis inserted into his rectum?
I know there are other ways men can share sexual affection. And I may be wrong, but my limited knowledge associates the anal thing as taking precedence. Edited on Jul 23, 2010, 01:36pm

I don't see why it's a problem. Why can't this dude just ask the guy he's attracted to to jack him off?

Why not, indeed....."Hey, Dude, I'm attracted to you, would you kindly jack me off?"

You're probably right, I guess one wouldn't see any problem with that.

But seriously, many thanks, Goldfish, for taking the time and providing your input.

True enough. What's the worst that can happen?

Maybe I'm missing something here. But what about a beating? Getting stabbed with a knife? Getting shot with a gun?
There's still a lot of intolerance and hate out in the real world.
A mild tongue lashing if the object of your male attraction is only mildly homophobic?

Edit01: But maybe in this fantasy world we're talking about, some sado-masochism or necrophilia would be the perfect antidote to a boring day. Edited on Jul 23, 2010, 05:00pm

See? There's always a bright side if you look hard enough. No pun intended.

You could always make sure the guy is gay before asking. LOL.

Keep a white hanky in your left-back pocket and the person you're looking for will find you. Well, that is out-dated, but the point is, they are very good at knowing who to approach and who not to approach.

Or... thinking of a scene in was it the movie Groove? I don't know. Edited on Jul 23, 2010, 08:05pm

This phrase just sort'a developed as I was reading these recent posts, so if it's new; and for what it's worth; and if it catches on....remember it started here:

"A dick in the "hand" is better than one in the "bush."

Let me make this clear....this is directed at the Gay community..and as it pertains to this thread.

I'm outta here.... Edited on Jul 24, 2010, 03:03pm

I think it would catch on better here the other way around, but that's just me.

Glad you brought that out, my friend...as you can see, I've edited it to at least get me off the hook.
