Why a vote for Santorium is a vote for porn. "With a statement decrying the Obama administration's "blind eye" toward enforcement of federal obscenity laws, Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum has brought the subject of pornography into the presidential campaign. But some of Santorum's statements about the ills of explicit material may not hold up. In a statement first posted last week on his campaign website, Santorum cites "a wealth of research" demonstrating that pornography causes "profound brain changes" and widespread negative effects in both adults and children, including violence against women. There's no such evidence of brain changes, researchers say." Just kidding ya'll, Ricky is other worldly thus does not know the definition of compromise. He is the type of candidate that Barry Goldwater warned us about. Lets do the dance. If it ain't grits, it must be a Yankee. If you're going to lay her head over the pool table and fuck her throat, get your fucking hand off her throat!

If Rick Santorum doesn't make President of the United States, maybe we can still elect him President of the PU club. I'm sure Khan and Rick would welcome the new, moral leadership Santorum could provide.

As crazy and messed up as that dude is (there's a reason why if you internet search "Santorum" you'll find the real definition behind the man) it wouldn't shock me to find out he has large collection of stuffed gophers coated in an unappealing familiar white substance ....

I've heard people say about Santorum that if you think about gay sex as much as he does then you're probably gay. If repression really does lead to obsession, then I'd keep an eye out for this repugnant asshole--he sounds like he's about to reveal some deep, dark secret or finally send his campaign crashing back down to earth. And while I'm no fan of Obama, I do really get a kick out of how laughable his competition is with this crop of GOP clowns still left in the fight. "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? I always have to shiver reading things like presenting "wealth of research" from people who are obviously ignorant. Is he also this kind of guy running around with a foil hat to deflect mind controlling devices? Sheesh! All hail to the hypnotoad!

I try my hardest not to listen a word he says. There is a "wealth of research" demonstrating that trying to understand him will cause "profound brain changes". Just another career politician that will say anything to get elected (back) into the club.

You all have probably heard this, but Santorum did an interview where he declared that a Scandanavian country that had legalized assisted suicide had now faced a problem that the government was killing seniors without consent. He said that seniors had taken to wearing bracelets informing health care professionals to not kill them. It was a compelling story, except that not one syllable of it was true. A reporter from that country tried to challenge Santorum on his comments but got no further than a PR person who said that what Santorum said is true for him because he believes it in his heart. I think we should all be thankful that when JFK dropped the gauntlet on going to the moon he didn't believe that all it took was smearing a guy with Vaseline and shooting him out of a cannon with a peace offering for the cheese gods on the moon. I'm not on the right of the political spectrum, but I really wish the Republican party would kick the loonies out and sell Americans on real, honest, practical financial solutions and worry less about vaginas and uteruses.

Kevin Smith had a pretty good line about this a few days ago on CNN - the only reason someone would make a statement like that is to help control their raging addiction. I think turboshaft has it right, I'm sure he has a huge stash of porn, and most likely gay porn. Bunny Lebowski: I'll suck your cock for a thousand dollars. Brandt: Ah hahahahaha! Wonderful woman. We're all, we're all very fond of her. Very free-spirited.

Here, here. The financial industry has yet to be dealt with properly, probably because they have nearly everyone in Congress in their pockets now. I wonder sometimes if these extremists running for office who wish not to tax or regulate business at all but rather invade the privacy of women and regulate voters are put in front of us for the purpose of distraction away from the real and pressing problems that we face. It might be far-fetched to say it's intentional, but I do wonder sometimes anyway. Ever wonder why the extreme "fringe" has been recast as the "base" in the media lexicon? I find it very strange. I wanted something new, so I left England for New England.

See that's where I'm different because whether you agree with him or not. A percentage of the population believes what he talks about. Ignoring his statement is dangerous because he's not some kind of nut job on a corner street blaring his message to the few. This was a State Senator and current Presidential candidate. I'm also not so sure that he doesn't believe some if not most of the things he says. Unlike Romney who speaks from both sides of his mouth. Santorum could be nutty enough to believe what he says. That is a frightening thing. Long live the Brown Coats.

^I agree with what you say, Pat. That man is scarily sincere, a religious zealot. And what really frightens me is that he has so much unquestioning support among the people. Have they all checked in their brains?

Well, of course he's nutty enough. I didn't ignore him until I watched all of the debates and I heard enough of his fear mongering ultra-religous crap, that he took from Newt btw. I laughed at him then; now I've heard the joke...deja vu. Tune it out.

I tend not to pay much attention what politicians say, after all they say allot don't the. However 9 out of ten what they say and then end up doing are often not even close. Since 2007

Thanks, but I was thinking more along the lines of a Ted Haggard-style scandal. Because of his creativity in how to spend your free time there's a new bar to pass when it comes to the hypocritical gulf between what you say in public and what you actually do behind closed motel doors. Far be if for me to judge what you put in your body, or hookers' bodies for that matter, just don't go about telling everyone else it's so wrong. "It's incredibly obvious, isn't it?
