The Weeknd, rising star of American music, shows how strong he is in the face of the Covid epidemic.
A broken nose, blackened eyes, bloody lips, and other damages hidden under the bandages will not stop this musical legend from appearing on stage displaying his awesome talent.

The damges were fake, but his talent is real.

The Weeknd appears with bizarrely bandaged face at 2020 American Music Awards

When the Weeknd showed up at August’s MTV Video Music Awards sporting a broken nose, blackened eyes, and a bloody lip, casual fans were concerned that he’d been in some sort of pre-ceremony accident or brawl. Real fans, of course, knew that the reigning method actor of pop was demonstrating his full commitment to the character/narrative from his VMA Video of the Year winner, “Blinding Lights” (in which he is beaten up by bouncers and then gets in a drunk-driving crash, resulting in multiple facial injuries).

The Weeknd has actually been rocking the bruised-and-bloodied look ever since he appeared on Saturday Night Live in March, but this Sunday at the American Music Awards, the enveope-pushing singer took his injured aesthetic to a shocking new extreme, with his head and face now totally swathed in mummy bandages as he performed “In Your Eyes” and “Save Your Tears” on a closed-off downtown Los Angeles bridge. (Adding to the overall surreal vibe of the performance was an all-too-brief bridge cameo by sexy saxophonist Kenny G, who appears on an “In Your Eyes” remix that actually cracked the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart in October.)

Back in April, the Weeknd explained to GQ that he wrote his latest concept album, After Hours, from the perspective of a “character losing his mind in Vegas,” debuting his bloody-faced alter ego in the album’s first music video, “Heartless,” in September 2019. That video’s director, Anton Tammi, has shot every subsequent video from After Hours, including last month’s extremely NSFW short film for “Too Late,” in which the Weeknd’s decapitated head is found by two gauze-wrapped, plastic-surgery-addicted socialites in the middle of the street. The disturbing, bonkers “Too Late” video seems to have inspired the Weeknd’s latest awards show look.

At this rate, it looks like the Weeknd might show up in a full body cast at his next two major TV appearances: the Jan. 31 Grammy Awards, where he is expected to be the top nominee, and Super Bowl LV on Feb. 7, where he will be the halftime show performer. But regardless of what happens at those events, it’s certain that the Weeknd will keep surprising viewers. On Sunday, as he picked up his first AMAs trophy — for Best Soul/R&B Album, for After Hours — he said, “Last time I received this award [for 2015’s Beauty Behind the Madness], it was given to me by the late, great Prince. And you know, he's the reason I get to constantly challenge the genre of R&B. And I'd like to dedicate this award to him.”

Speaking of taking risks, while the Weeknd’s pyrotechnic outdoor extravaganza was obviously socially distanced (even if his bandages didn’t cover his nostrils or mouth), and other artists gave remote performances, several seemingly riskier numbers actually took place inside L.A.’s Microsoft Theater, in front of a live audience. This of course raised eyebrows after the controversy surrounding this month’s live, indoor Country Music Association Awards — not to mention the fact that the AMAs took place just three days after L.A. County reported 5,000 new cases in a single day; one day after a nearly statewide California curfew went into effect in an attempt to curb the coronavirus surge; and on the same day that L.A. County public health officials announced that they will suspend outdoor dining at restaurants starting this week.

But host Taraji P. Henson, who was thrilled by the “glorious sound of live, in-the-house applause,” insisted that the AMAs show was operating safely, declaring, “We have some special guests here tonight. We invited them in small groups, from the same families. They're all here, socially distanced, wearing masks, COVID-tested. Yes, we're very responsible!” Later, in a bit of a doth-protest-too-much moment, she gave a shoutout to the “small-but-mighty, COVID-free audience,” which according to Rolling Stone comprised “less than 100” people in a venue with a usual capacity of 7,100. (These invited guests seemed to be relegated to the upper level of the theater, while the front rows downstairs were occupied by cardboard cutouts of Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Dolly Parton.)

“Anyone entering the AMAs footprint is tested in advance, and testing continues with frequency throughout the wrap of production,” a spokesperson told Rolling Stone ahead of Sunday’s ceremony. “Everyone inside our footprint, with the exception of artists onstage who are singing or speaking, will be wearing facial coverings and maintain social distancing at all times. When artists are not on stage singing, presenting, or accepting an award, they will be wearing personal protective equipment. Additionally, we disinfect our set every evening and in between performances during pre-production, rehearsals, and in the live show.” (The awards’ Dick Clark Productions did not respond to Yahoo Entertainment’s request for comment.)

Other notable AMAs appearances Sunday night included the live TV debut of Megan Thee Stallion’s body-positive banger “Body”; Billie Eilish’s first televised performance of her new single “Therefore I Am”; Jennifer Lopez and Maluma’s steamy “'Pa Ti”/“Lonely” duet; Machine Gun Kelly introduced by new girlfriend Megan Fox and accompanied by Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker; Katy Perry returning to her “Katheryn” roots with a folksy rendition of her Smile song “Only Love,” accompanied by Darius Rucker and dedicated to her father; Lil Baby’s mental health anthem “Emotionally Scarred”; ‘90s boy band Bell Biv DeVoe doing the New Jack Swing classics “Poison” and “Do Me” while their former manager, Henson herself, twerked up on that Beyoncé cutout; and, closing the show, K-pop boy band BTS, performing “Dynamite” and “Life Goes On” at Seoul’s Jamsil Olympic Stadium in fabulous pastel satin suits.

The Weeknd had a big night at the AMAs, taking home three awards, but lost out in the final Artist of the Year category to Taylor Swift. Swift accepted the night’s top honor virtually, explaining that she skipped the ceremony because she’s busy re-recording all of her music, following her fight with her former record label Big Machine’s Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun over ownership of her masters. “It's been amazing, and I can't wait for you to hear [the re-recordings],” Swift told her fans watching at home.

This porn star has filmed too many scenes.
She no longer has the energy or enthusiasm required to reach orgasm.
But she still wants to get paid.
Does she deserve to get paid, for her performance?
Enquiring minds want to know:

Movie theaters are still closed in Los Angeles county.
So I won't be seeing any movies in a theater any time soon.
Or for a good while, since I'd rather be safe than sorry about catching the virus.

‘Monster Hunter’ Will Now Hunt Monsters in Theaters on Christmas Day

Posted on Thursday, November 19th, 2020 by Chris Evangelista

Nothing says “Merry Christmas” like Milla Jovovich hunting some monsters. Monster Hunter, the latest effects-heavy team-up between Jovovich and husband Paul W.S. Anderson, will now open on Christmas Day. That puts it directly up against Wonder Woman 1984, but Wonder Woman 1984 is also debuting on HBO Max that same day, so Sony might figure this is their chance to corner big theatrical numbers for that day. Of course, all of that hinges on the idea of movie theaters actually being open.

Any other year, I might be over the moon at the idea of going to the movies on Christmas Day to watch Monster Hunter. This year, though, is another story. The coronavirus continues to be a very serious problem, and in many places, things are getting worse, not better. As a result, many 2020 movies have been pushed back to 2021 – but Hollywood isn’t ready to throw in the towel just yet. Which is why Sony is deciding to drop Monster Hunter into theaters on December 25, putting it up against Wonder Woman 1984, which will also hit HBO Max the same day.

At one point, Monster Hunter was supposed to open in September of 2020. Then it got pushed to April 2021. Then, curiously, it got moved back – to December 30, 2020. Now, it’s arriving in theaters and IMAX on Christmas Day. If I had to guess, I’d say Warner Bros.’ decision to release Wonder Woman 1984 on HBO Max is what gave Sony the confidence to move in on that December 25 date. The logic being that even though Wonder Woman will be at the box office, most people will probably watch it at home, while Monster Hunter remains exclusive to theaters. “You want a big movie you can only see on the big screen?” Sony is essentially asking. “Well, here’s your chance!”

In Monster Hunter, “When an unexpected sandstorm transports Lt. Artemis (Milla Jovovich) and her unit (TI Harris, Meagan Good, Diego Boneta) to a new world, the soldiers are shocked to discover that this hostile and unknown environment is home to enormous and terrifying monsters immune to their firepower. In their desperate battle for survival, the unit encounters the mysterious Hunter (Tony Jaa), whose unique skills allow him to stay one step ahead of the powerful creatures. As Artemis and Hunter slowly build trust, she discovers that he is part of a team led by the Admiral (Ron Perlman). Facing a danger so great it could threaten to destroy their world, the brave warriors combine their unique abilities to band together for the ultimate showdown.”

Sony also shuffled around some other release dates – Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, which was set for January 15, 2021, has now moved to April 2, 2021; and Fatherhood is moving to April 16, 2021 from its original date of April 2, 2021.

Considering the heavy debt load the major theater chains are laboring under, because of acquisitions, there is a good chance the major theater chains will have to re-organize under bankruptcy protection.
And sell off or close lots of theater locations. Because that's the route many restraurant chains have taken.

The value of each theater is going down, because the timeline of theatrical release has been shortened so drastically.

Cinemark Theatres and Cineworld, two of the largest movie chains in the world, are both losing millions of dollars each month, and their stocks have shattered.

I've read that China has turned the corner, and the Chinese theaters are doing better.
However, there is apparently a lot of fraud in the reporting of box office grosses in China, so it's hard to know what the heck is the true financial picture of Wanda Cinemas (the large Chinese theater chain, which is now the biggest theater chain in the world).

But the US and UK are more transparent: the two main theater chains are loaded with massive debt, and with little relief in sight.

Proof the virus epidemic is not over.

Universal Strikes Deal With Cinemark Allowing Movies to Premiere On-Demand Early

Cinemark Theatre in North Hollywood, California.
Michael Buckner/Variety

Cinemark Theatres and Universal Pictures have forged a landmark agreement to bring theatrical movies more quickly to home entertainment.

The deal follows an unexpected arrangement that Universal struck months ago with AMC Theatres, the world’s largest movie theater chain. That pact gave Universal the option to put new movies on digital rental services after 17 days of theatrical release — a decision that sent shockwaves throughout Hollywood because it dramatically shortened the timeframe (typically 75 to 90 days) that films play exclusively on the big screen. In exchange, Universal would share in the digital profits with AMC.

Cinemark has agreed to slightly different conditions. Under their terms, any movie that earns more than $50 million in opening weekend ticket sales has to stay in theaters for at least 31 days, or five weekends. All other titles can be made available to rent on digital platforms after just 17 days.

According to insiders, those new terms will also extend to AMC.

Universal likely wouldn’t opt to shorten the theatrical window — industry parlance for the amount of time a movie plays exclusively in theaters — for commercial hits, or the kind of movie that would gross more than $50 million in a single weekend, anyway.

Neither agreement says that new releases will definitively move to premium video-on-demand after three weekends. However, it gives Universal the opportunity to recoup potential losses should a movie underperform in theaters. But blockbuster hopefuls, hailing from franchises like “Jurassic Park” or “Fast & Furious,” are expected to still have lengthy theatrical runs. Anything shorter could cannibalize ticket sales.

Universal movies that debut early on-demand won’t be promptly yanked from theaters. Cinema operators will still be able to play them on the big screen, should they want to.

The full financial terms of Universal and Cinemark’s deal have not been disclosed.

“Universal’s century-long partnership with exhibition is rooted in the theatrical experience, and we are more committed than ever for audiences to experience our movies on the big screen,” said Universal Filmed Entertainment Group Chairman Donna Langley, who also orchestrated the studio’s historic deal with AMC. “Mark Zoradi and the team at Cinemark have been outstanding partners, and Peter Levinsohn [Vice Chairman & Chief Distribution Officer, UFEG] has done a remarkable job on the studio’s behalf in making deals that give us the confidence to release our movies in the marketplace, keep the content pipeline moving, and provide consumers with the optionality that they are looking for.”

The expedited timeline comes amid the coronavirus pandemic, a heath crisis that’s been devastating to those in the business of showing movies on the big screen. Rival chain Regal, the second-largest circuit in the country, chose to close down all U.S. locations, citing the lack of new movies and weak ticket sales. AMC, on the other hand, said its deal with Universal is the reason why they are able to stay open. (The company has not disclosed any details about the revenue-share.)

Universal, compared to other major studios, has been active in debuting movies during the pandemic because of the flexible premium video-on-demand agreement. In the last few weeks, Universal and its specialty label Focus Features have released the slasher film “Freaky,” “Come Play” and “Let Him Go.” Universal’s recent and upcoming releases have been admittedly smaller in scale (read: less financially risky). The studio plans to save its most anticipated titles, such as “Fast & Furious” sequel “F9” and “Jurassic World: Dominion,” for when moviegoing returns to a stronger degree. Before 2020 ends, Universal is opening family film “The Croods: A New Age” on Nov. 25, comedic drama “Half Brothers” and romantic tear-jerker “All My Life” on Nov. 4, and “News of the World” with Tom Hanks and the Focus Features revenge thriller “Promising Young Woman” on Christmas Day.

In a statement, Cinemark CEO Mark Zoradi said the company believes in “a more dynamic theatrical window.”

“We are extremely pleased to further enhance our strong partnership with Universal as we evolve the exclusive theatrical window,” Zoradi said. “We believe a more dynamic theatrical window, whereby movie theaters continue to provide an event-sized launching platform for films that maximize box office and bolsters the success of subsequent distribution channels, is in the shared best interests of studios, exhibitors and, most importantly, moviegoers.”

Universal is currently the only major studio to reach this kind of agreement with movie theater owners. Yet the arrangement with AMC and Cinemark means that two of the biggest movie theater chains in the country have conceded that the film distribution landscape will look very different when the world emerges from the pandemic.

Not all theater chains are ready to surrender to a future that puts a bigger emphasis on digital.

Mooky Greidinger, the CEO of Regal’s parent company Cineworld, has been vocally opposed to such drastic changes to the theatrical window. In a recent interview with Variety before Cinemark’s deal was announced, Greidinger said he wouldn’t entirely rule out a similar agreement, but attested that 17 days is “too aggressive and too short.”

Lindsey Graham denies he's a crook. If he does do anything shifty, he's doing it for the good of the country.
Lindsey Graham is a solid Republican, Free, White, and over 21.
God save America from the socialist Democrats, cries Lindsey, while shedding tears for Trump, our glorious President-For-Life.
Trump was robbed.
They will have to drag Trump from the White House, which is Trump's home, for now and for evermore.

Lindsey Graham denies pressuring Georgia official to toss legal ballots

HuffPost US
Lydia O'Connor
Nov 17th 2020 4:33AM

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) denied claims that he pressured Georgia’s secretary of state to find ways to throw out legal ballots, telling reporters Monday that it’s “ridiculous” to interpret their conversation that way.

Graham, one of the Republicans pushing outgoing President Donald Trump’s unsubstantiated claims about voter fraud in the Nov. 3 election, commented on the matter after Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger gave an interview to The Washington Post saying Graham asked him Friday if Raffensperger could toss out all the mail-in ballots in counties with higher rates of signature-matching issues.

Graham, chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, denied that’s what he said.

“I think that’s just ridiculous. If he feels threatened by that conversation, he’s got a problem. I actually thought it was a good conversation,” he said, adding he was only suggesting Georgia enforce a stricter signature verification process.

“I never said that,” he said of Raffensperger’s statement. “I said, ‘Do you have power as secretary of state to require bipartisan verification of the signature,’ because right now they don’t. What I want to see happen all over the country, if we’re going to use mail-in voting ... is that when it comes to verifying signatures, that you have a process that’s bipartisan, where both sides can look at the signature. If there’s a dispute about whether or not you think it’s valid, you put it in some kind of appeal system.”

Raffensperger, a Republican, told the Post that it was clear to him that Graham was suggesting he find a way to throw out ballots.

“It sure looked like he was wanting to go down that road,” he said. After Graham’s response came out, he stood by his assertion on CNN.

“The implication is ‘Look hard and see how many ballots you can throw,’” he said.

Since Trump lost his bid for reelection, Graham has been part of the GOP chorus questioning the integrity of the electoral process and expressing outrage at the media for calling the winner based on results released by the states, despite that being the case in all modern elections. In 2016, for example, Democratic challenger Hillary Clinton conceded to Trump the day after the election, based on vote projections, even though final tallies were days or even weeks away in several states.

“This is a contested election,” Graham said on Fox News last week. “The media doesn’t decide who becomes president. If they did, you would never have a Republican president forever. So we’re discounting them.”

He added: “If I were President Trump, I’d take all of this to court. I’d fight back. .... If we don’t fight back in 2020, we’re never going to win again presidentially. A lot’s at stake here.”

Pat, you're right. I hadn't seen Famke in years.
I still remember her from Rounders, the Matt Damon poker movie, where I thought she was freaking attractive. And I probably saw her in some X-Men movies, as well.

Sad, to see her recent appearance.

Pat, have you seen any movies with Famke Janssen in the last year or two?
Her face is now a plastic mask.
I don't agree that she looks the same as she did 7 years ago.
When I saw the movie Primal, released in 2019, I did not recognize her. I thought she looked familiar, but didn't know who she was.

Some photos of her from early 2019, as well as how she looked years earlier.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/ar...ke-Janssen-face.html

When I say a plastic mask, not only is the face very different, but she has lost mobility to smile or move her cheeks or brow.

I just watched the movie Primal, with Nicholas Cage and Famke Janssen.
I thought the femaie actress was familiar, but was hoping it was not Famke Janssen.
Then I checked IMDB, and it was Famke Janssen.
But her face looks like a different person.
She used to be gorgeous.
As a James Bond villainess, Xenia Onatopp.
Even a couple of years ago she was still attractive, in her 50s.
But what makes women destroy their natural beauty through plastic surgery, hoping to retain their youth, and turning their faces into masks?

A real shame.

People age with time, and they need to accept it.
It seems harder for women to accept the changes, than for men.
It must be a cultural effect.
But it's god dam dangerous, to let plastic surgeons turn a woman's face into a mask.

President Trump attacks N.Y. governor, says he will withhold the Covid vaccine from New York state until Cuomo approves.
Trump has a heart of gold.
He will suffer internally while New Yorkers die: but Trump has to follow the law, and can't release the vaccine to New York until there is legal authority.
However, Cuomo says the Prez is full of bullshit. Many states are holding review panels on the safety of the upcoming vaccine.
And New York has said if Trump wants to play games with people’s lives, we will sue and we will win."

However, Trump's failure to concede is already affecting Biden's plans to combat the virus by blocking his ability to communicate with government officials about their current efforts.
Trump's dignity is more important than saving lives.

Trump attacks N.Y. gov, says he'll withhold Covid vaccine from state until Cuomo approves

NBC News
Dareh Gregorian and Natalia Abrahams and Dartunorro Clark
Nov 14th 2020 1:21PM

President Donald Trump threatened to withhold a coronavirus vaccine from New York state on Friday and escalated his feud with Gov. Andrew Cuomo during his first public comments since Joe Biden was projected the winner in the presidential race.

Trump — snapping the longest stretch of silence in his presidency — began his remarks in the White House Rose Garden by touting the effectiveness of Operation Warp Speed, his administration's initiative to spur production of a vaccine, before taking aim at his home state.

"As soon as April the vaccine will be available to the entire general population, with the exception of places like New York state, where for political reasons the governor decided to say — and I don't think it's good politically, I think it's very bad from a health standpoint — but he wants to take his time on the vaccine," Trump said.

He was referring to comments Cuomo made in September, where he said he planned to have a panel of experts review a vaccine because he was concerned that Trump was trying to rush one out ahead of the presidential election.

"He doesn't trust where the vaccines coming from," Trump continued. "So the governor, Gov. Cuomo will have to let us know when he's ready for it, otherwise we, we can't be delivering it to a state that won't be giving it to its people, immediately. And I know many I know the people in New York very well I know they want it. So the governor will let us know when he's ready," he added.

"I hope he doesn't handle this as badly as he's handled the nursing homes. But we're ready to provide it as soon as they let us know that they'll actually use it," Trump said.

The comments came as the virus that's already killed over 244,000 in the U.S. has surged across the country in recent weeks, with spikes in infections and hospitalizations from coast-to-coast, including in New York.

Asked about Trump's comments, Cuomo told MSNBC, "None of what he said is true."

"We're all excited about the possibilities about a vaccine," Cuomo said, adding his state review panel would review the information on the vaccine at the same time as the Food and Drug Administration, and was designed to instill public confidence.

Other states are doing the same thing, he noted. "Ours is headed by a Nobel Prize Laureate who will review the FDA process so we could say to people it is safe, you should take the vaccine," Cuomo said.

In a statement, New York Attorney General Letitia James called Trump's threat "nothing more than vindictive behavior by a lame-duck president trying to extract vengeance on those who oppose his politics."

"Once there is a fully-developed Covid-19 vaccine, we are confident that a Biden-Harris Administration will provide New York with the proper number of doses so that our state’s residents can achieve immunity. If dissemination of the vaccine takes place in the twilight of a Trump Administration and the president wants to play games with people’s lives, we will sue and we will win," James said.

Trump took no questions and only made a passing reference to the election in his remarks, when he vowed the country would not lock down again. While doing so, he acknowledged for the first time publicly that he might not be in office much longer.

"This administration will not be going to a lockdown hopefully the, the, whatever happens in the future, who knows which administration will be, I guess time will tell, but I can tell you this administration will not go to a lockdown," Trump said.

Trump's failure to concede is already affecting his successor's plan to combat the virus by blocking his ability to communicate with government officials about their current efforts.

That has doctors close to Biden’s transition team working to develop their own plans to mass distribute a coronavirus vaccine, concerned that Trump administration planning will leave them underprepared when he leaves office.

Trump made no mention of the surge in cases, but Vice President Mike Pence did, and encouraged all Americans to "practice good hygiene, wash your hands, practice social distancing, wear a mask when that's not possible. We all have a role to play."

Trump has been seen since has last public remarks, leaving the White House to golf over the weekend and attending a Veterans Day wreath laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.

He has been very active on Twitter, where he's made numerous unfounded claims that the presidential election was "rigged" and that he actually won.

As of Friday morning, he'd sent 210 tweets or retweets since the briefing room appearance, while making no mention of the surge in coronavirus cases.

On Friday, he suggested he might make a public appearance on Saturday afternoon at a march his supporters are planning for Washington.

"Heartwarming to see all of the tremendous support out there, especially the organic Rallies that are springing up all over the Country, including a big one on Saturday in D.C. I may even try to stop by and say hello," he tweeted, adding, "This Election was Rigged."

NBC News made projections in the two outstanding states in the presidential race on Friday with Trump winning North Carolina and Biden the apparent winner in Georgia. That has Trump trailing Biden in the Electoral College vote 232 to 306. The number of votes needed to win is 270. Trump is also trailing Biden by over 5 million votes in the popular vote.

I was watching an Amazon Prime Movie today.
They are free movies that you can watch with a membership in Amazon Prime, a membership that costs you about $130/year.

The good news is that before, there were a few ads you had to watch at the start of each movie.
Now, they are putting even more ads that you have to watch before each movie.

If your life was boring and meaningless before, you now have the chance to watch ads that might bring new meaning to your life.

So sit back, drink a few beers, and wait for the movie you have selected to finally start playing.

Thank you, Amazon. For servicing your paid membership.

They also interrupt the playing of the movie, partway through, with more adds, which is a new feature. Before, once a movie started, it played all the way, after the first ads stopped playing. Now, they insert ads into the middle of the movie. Just like on TV.

I guess they are following the YouTube pattern, of inserting ads into videos that play. Before Google took over YouTube, the YouTube videos played without ads. Now they have ads before and during, and sometime after, the each video. Edited on Nov 09, 2020, 02:55pm

Russia missed its chance.
After Trump tweeted he would send nuclear missiles to destroy the rebel states that were trying to remove him from office, Russia could have sent Russian troops to help stabilize the United States and keep the rebels from rioting in the streets.

But it's too late now. Rebels are trying to seize control of the White House, and Trump is under vicious attack.

Will Trump survive and lead us out of the virus epidemic?
Stay tuned for further news as Americans battle it out and violence and bloodshed stain the streets.

Kremlin: Putin won't congratulate Biden until challenges end

The Associated Press
JIM HEINTZ
Nov 9th 2020 10:37AM

MOSCOW (AP) — Russian President Vladimir Putin won’t congratulate President-elect Joe Biden until legal challenges to the U.S. election are resolved and the result is official, the Kremlin announced Monday.

Putin is one of a handful of world leaders who have not commented on Biden’s victory, which was called by major news organizations on Saturday. But President Donald Trump's team has promised legal action in the coming days and refused to concede his loss, while alleging large-scale voter fraud, so far without proof.

When Trump won in 2016, Putin was prompt in offering congratulations — but Trump's challenger in that election, Hillary Clinton, also conceded the day after the vote.

Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters Monday that this year is different.

“Obviously, you can see that certain legal procedures are coming there, which were announced by the incumbent president — therefore this situation is different, so we consider it correct to wait for the official announcement,” he said.

The leaders of China, Brazil and Turkey also are holdouts in offering congratulations. And Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador also said he would wait to comment until the legal challenges were resolved.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin offered a similar explanation of why President Xi Jinping has stayed silent.

“We understand the presidential election result will be determined following U.S. laws and procedures,” he said.

Peskov suggested that when the time comes, a congratulatory message from Putin would come with all the expected protocol.

“I remind you that Vladimir Putin said more than once that he will respect any choice of American people, and will be ready to work with any chosen president of the United States,” he said.

For now, Putin's holding back allows a delay in addressing that fraught question of how to improve relations. Although Russian politicians widely lauded Trump's election in 2016, expecting him to make good on his promises of improving ties, his administration disappointed Moscow by enacting sanctions, expelling scores of Russian diplomats in the wake of the poisoning of double agent Sergei Skripal in the U.K., and authorizing lethal weapons sales to Ukraine.

But Russia is characteristically wary of Democratic U.S. administrations because they tend to be more forward about criticizing Russia on human rights and democracy issues.

Biden, in a 2011 trip to Russia as vice president, epitomized that approach in a speech at Moscow Statue University, the country's most prestigious higher education institution.

“Don’t compromise on the basic elements of democracy. You need not make that Faustian bargain," he told students.

Biden also is tainted in Russia's eyes by having been the Obama administration's point-man in Ukraine after the uprising that drove the country's Kremlin-friendly president from power in 2014. Russia contended that those protests were fomented by the United States.

Russian officials frequently blamed the difficulties of Moscow-Washington relations during the Trump administration on alleged “Russophobia” carried over from the Obama years. Some politicians expect that could increase under Biden.

“With the victory of a Democrat, one can expect revenge from all nonconservative forces around the world. This means more Russophobia in Europe, more deaths in (eastern Ukraine) and in many other hot spots of the world, as well as more politically motivated sanctions, if we talk about the direct and simplest consequences,” said Konstantin Kosachev, chairman of the foreign affairs committee in the upper house of parliament, whose views generally parallel the Kremlin's.

“The Biden administration may return to a much more assertive policy in the post-Soviet space, which is always extremely unnerving for Moscow,” Fyodor Lukyanov, editor of the Russia In Global Affairs journal, told the state news agency Tass.

Both, however, noted that a Biden administration is likely to be more amenable to international cooperation, especially in arms control such as renewing the New START treaty between Russia and the U.S. that is to expire next year.

Kosachev also suggested that Biden’s election would largely eliminate complaints about Russian election interference, thereby smoothing the way for armaments agreements.

“Not that we believe Washington will be sobering up, but at least a key irritant can go away. Is this not a reason for the resumption of negotiations, for example, on arms control? We are definitely ready," he said.

Once Trump was ahead in the vote count, or in the number of states that gave him a lead in the electoral college, the vote count should have been stopped, according to Trump.

Trump declared himself the winner.
The presidency is far more important than the number of seats the GOP controls in the senate.

By September 2020, Trump had filled 217 judicial appointments.
Since then, he filled a third appointment to the Supreme Court.

"Mr Trump’s judges, carefully selected for their ideological bona fides, have already begun to reshape US law in a more conservative direction on issues as wide ranging as gun control, voting rights, environmental protections, abortion and immigration."

Although Biden won the 2020 election, the effect of Trump packing the judicial system with conservative judges could have a much-longer effect on the laws of the United States.

One of the most important effects of the Trump presidency has been packing the federal judiciary with conservative judges.

Biden won the presidency. But Republicans still control the Senate. And conservatives now control the federal judicial system.

Biden comes into office with a massive number of powerful enemies. Or if you don't want to call them enemies, you could call them people with a different view of how America should be run.

The Associated Press on Saturday projected Joe Biden has won the 2020 presidential election.
As Commander-In-Chief, President Trump has ordered nuclear strikes against the states of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan and Arizona, states that are in open rebellion against Trump as President-For-Life.

With a sad heart, Trump declares that rebels must be punished.
The American Civil War taught us that only the strong survive.

So Trump, leader of the free world, has ordered a new election, where Americans everywhere can vote in peace and with the knowledge that Trump is the choice of God-fearing peoples.

Biden defeats Trump to become 46th president, AP projects

Joe Biden has won the 2020 presidential election, the Associated Press projected Saturday, sending President Trump to a bitter defeat four years after he shocked the world by winning the White House with a victory over Hillary Clinton.

Biden crossed the 270-vote threshold in the Electoral College on Saturday after the AP called Pennsylvania for him. He was also able to capture Wisconsin, Michigan and Arizona, states that Trump carried in 2016.

Other states remain too close to call, and the Trump campaign has filed multiple lawsuits to contest the legitimacy of certain ballots. The fate of those challenges was obscured Thursday after Biden was projected to have won the Electoral College.

Biden now holds the record for the most number of votes cast for any presidential candidate in history — more than 73 million — shattering the previous mark (69,500,000) set by Barack Obama in 2008. He leads Trump by nearly 4 million votes nationwide.

The former vice president, who turns 78 this month, won his bid for the White House on his third attempt, becoming the oldest person ever elected president in the U.S. His running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., is the first Black woman and first Asian American elected vice president in U.S. history.

Trump, however, has signaled that he is not likely to concede defeat quickly. In a Wednesday tweet, the president declared without evidence that he had won in Pennsylvania, Georgia and North Carolina.

“We have claimed, for Electoral Vote purposes, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (which won’t allow legal observers) the State of Georgia, and the State of North Carolina, each one of which has a BIG Trump lead,” Trump wrote in tweets that were quickly flagged on Twitter as containing disputed or misleading election information. “Additionally, we hereby claim the State of Michigan if, in fact, there was a large number of secretly dumped ballots as has been widely reported!”

Hours earlier, the Trump campaign announced it would seek a recount in Wisconsin, another state the AP said Biden had won.

On Thursday, as it became clear that his early lead in states like Pennsylvania and Georgia was eroding as more ballots were tabulated, Trump posted a dramatic tweet that read, “STOP THE COUNT!”

Then in a White House speech without precedent in American history, Trump flailed at the media, pollsters, election officials, mail-in voting, judges and Democrat-led U.S. cities Thursday evening, as his rival Joe Biden continued to inch toward a win in the 2020 election.

“If you count the legal votes, I easily win,” Trump said, though no state allows the counting of illegally cast votes. “If you count the illegal votes, they can try to steal the election from us.”

The president portrayed the counting of legally cast mail-in ballots as improper — an assault on American democracy by the president himself.

“Our numbers started miraculously getting whittled away, in secret,” Trump said, again without evidence. “This is a case where they’re trying to steal an election. They’re trying to rig an election. And we can’t let that happen.”

Biden’s election was as much about rallying support among Democrats, independents and even some Republicans with a message of unity as it was a repudiation of Trump, whose approval rating, according to Gallup, never hit 50 percent.

In poll after poll leading up to Election Day, large majorities of voters disapproved of Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic, which has killed more than 234,000 Americans and infected more than 9.5 million in the U.S., including him.

Throughout the pandemic, Trump sought to downplay the virus, mocking Biden for wearing a mask and falsely claiming that the United States is “rounding the corner” on the pandemic at a time when cases and deaths from COVID-19 continue to rise. As the race for the White House pushed into October and November, the country set a string of new daily records for coronavirus cases and saw a dramatic spike in states that Trump needed to win to secure his reelection.

After recovering from his own bout with the disease caused by exposure to the coronavirus — which led to a three-day hospitalization and forced the cancellation of one presidential debate — the president returned to the campaign trail in mid-October, holding rallies where he and many of his supporters eschewed the recommendations from public health officials to wear face masks and follow social distancing guidelines.

The Biden campaign offered a sharp contrast, adhering to guidelines from Trump’s own Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, avoiding large rallies and making attendees at campaign events wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines.

Biden overcame numerous attacks from Trump on the campaign trail, including claims of cognitive lapses (Trump branded him “Sleepy Joe”) and questions about his son Hunter’s business dealings in Ukraine and China. Trump even called on Attorney General William Barr to launch an investigation into the Bidens just two weeks before Election Day. (Barr did not.)

Trump, who sought to paint his opponent as a closet socialist being manipulated by the progressive wing of his party, falsely claimed that Biden wanted to “defund” the police and argued that a Biden presidency would “destroy” the suburbs and embrace antifa.

He also floated wild conspiracy theories and disinformation about Biden and other Democratic figures that had been promoted by right-wing activists on social media.

But none of the punches managed to land, infuriating the president and the GOP.

“If I lose, I will have lost to the worst candidate, the worst candidate in the history of presidential politics,” Trump said at an Oct. 17 campaign rally.

The president also accused Democrats of trying to “steal” the election, falsely claiming that mail-in voting would lead to widespread fraud.

The pandemic caused many states to expand early-voting options, and a record 101 million ballots were cast either in person or by mail before Election Day.

In 2016, Trump won office by riding a populist message against a deeply unpopular establishment candidate in Clinton. But polls showed Biden as far more popular with the electorate than the former secretary of estate, giving him more ways to win the election.

Biden, a Scranton, Pa., native, began his presidential campaign in April 2019, joining an already crowded field of Democrats with a video denouncing Trump for his response to the violent white-supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va., in August 2017. While speaking out against the violent clashes that erupted among white supremacists and counterprotesters, Trump infamously said there were “some very fine people on both sides.”

“With those words, the president of the United States assigned a moral equivalence between those spreading hate and those with the courage to stand against it,” Biden said in the video. “And in that moment, I knew the threat to this nation was unlike any I had ever seen in my lifetime.”

He carried that message into the general election campaign, promising that his election would “restore the soul of the nation.”

Biden shrugged off disappointing performances in early primary and caucus states like Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada, gaining his footing after a crucial win in South Carolina, where he was buoyed by the support of African American voters wary of the candidacy of Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., who had emerged as the frontrunner. Biden went on to control of the race, winning 10 of 14 states on Super Tuesday in March. Sanders dropped out of the race and quickly endorsed Biden, paving the way for his nomination.

In August, Biden, who had promised to pick a woman as his running mate, announced his choice of Harris shortly before the Democratic convention. The senator from California, who lost her own bid for the 2020 Democratic nomination, had clashed with Biden during the first primary debate by attacking his record on race. But after ending her campaign, she endorsed the former vice president and stumped for him in Michigan ahead of Super Tuesday.

While Biden enjoyed a wave of support among Democrats, he was also backed by “Never Trump” Republicans who opposed the president from the start of his term or became disillusioned by what they considered to be his chaotic and divisive style of governing. During the campaign, Biden was endorsed by dozens of Republican former national security officials, U.S. attorneys and governors, including former Ohio Republican Gov. John Kasich, former Michigan Republican Gov. Rick Snyder, former Arizona Republican Sen. Jeff Flake and Cindy McCain, the widow of the 2008 Republican nominee for president, Sen. John McCain of Arizona.

Biden now faces the enormous challenge of attempting to unify a country deeply divided by partisan politics. While that reality predated Trump’s time in office, it also crystallized over the last four years.

Stephen Colbert Fights Tears While Eviscerating Trump’s Election Lies: ‘He Tried to Poison Democracy’
“Republicans have to speak up. All of them," Colbert said. "For evil to succeed, all that is necessary is for good men to do nothing."

Zack Sharf

Stephen Colbert started the November 5 episode of his “A Late Show” by eviscerating the lies Donald Trump is peddling about the 2020 presidential election results. The president gave a press conference shortly before Colbert recorded the episode and claimed that “if you count the legal votes, I easily win. If you count the illegal votes, they can try to steal the election from us.” Trump declared “historic election interference” is taking place, which led to an impassioned monologue from Colbert in which he fought back tears at one point while condemning Trump’s conspiracies.

“We’re taping this just a little while after Donald Trump walked into the White House briefing room and tried to poison American democracy,” Colbert said. “That’s why I’m not sitting down yet. I just don’t feel like it yet. That’s also why I’m dressed for a funeral. Because Donald Trump tried really hard to kill something tonight.”

Colbert said Trump’s claims are made up of “just nonsensical stuff about illegal vote dumps and corrupt election officials and secret Democratic counting cabals and, I don’t know, long-form birth certificates, probably. It’s all the same. And if you didn’t know that Joe Biden was getting close to 270, Donald Trump just provided all the proof you will ever need.”

“We all knew he would do this,” the late night host continued. “What I did not know is that it would hurt so much. I didn’t expect this to break my heart. For him to cast a dark shadow on our most sacred right, from the briefing room in the White House — our house, not his — that is devastating. … This is heartbreaking for the same reason that I didn’t want him to get COVID, certainly why I wanted him to survive, because he is the president of the United States. That office means something and that office should have some shred of decency.”

Colbert then called on Republicans all over the United States to “speak up” against Trump. “All of them,” he added, “Because for evil to succeed, all that is necessary is for good men to do nothing. So say something, right now, Republicans.”

Trump must declare martial law to save America's freedom.
Biden, the sore loser, is trying to steal the presidency away from Trump.
Trump must remain firm and strong as he fights off this threat.
Only in God can we trust, and Trump is God's choice to lead Americans in the fight against Socialism and Communism.

Do we want to let the Socialists and Communists into our country, and take our Freedoms away from us?
Never.
Vote for Trump!!!

A special law has been passed that only Republicans can vote in the days ahead, to ensure that Trump remains our President-For-Life.
And Ivanka is waiting in the wings, to continue the proud legacy of her father, once he passes the torch to his beloved daughter.
God save America.
Vote for Trump.

Also, as Trump himself has declared, the election must be decided by the U.S. Supreme Court, the highest court in the land.
Only these judges have the wisdom and integrity of knowing who is the true, real President-For-Life of the United States.
These Supreme judges bow down to Trump, our God-given leader.

Biden sees path to 270; Trump attacks election integrity

The Associated Press
JONATHAN LEMIRE, ZEKE MILLER and WILL WEISSERT
Nov 6th 2020 6:05AM

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump is testing how far he can go in using the trappings of presidential power to undermine confidence in this week's election against Joe Biden, as the Democrat gained ground in tight contests in some key battleground states.

With his pathway to re-election appearing to shrink, Trump on Thursday advanced unsupported accusations of voter fraud to falsely argue that his rival was trying to seize power. It amounted to an extraordinary effort by a sitting American president to sow doubt about the democratic process.

“This is a case when they are trying to steal an election, they are trying to rig an election,” Trump said from the podium of the White House briefing room.

The president's remarks deepened a sense of anxiety in the U.S. as Americans enter their third full day after the election without knowing who would serve as president for the next four years. His statements also prompted a rebuke from some Republicans, particularly those looking to steer the party in a different direction in a post-Trump era.

Neither candidate has reached the 270 Electoral College votes needed to win the White House. But Biden eclipsed Trump in Wisconsin and Michigan, two crucial Midwestern battleground states, overtook the president in Georgia and was inching closer to doing the same in Pennsylvania, where votes were still be counted.

It was unclear when a national winner would be determined after a long, bitter campaign dominated by the coronavirus and its effects on Americans and the national economy. The U.S. on Wednesday set another record for daily confirmed cases as several states posted all-time highs. The pandemic has killed more than 233,000 people in the United States.

Biden spent Thursday trying to ease tensions and project a more traditional image of presidential leadership. After participating in a coronavirus briefing, he declared that “each ballot must be counted.”

“I ask everyone to stay calm. The process is working,” Biden said. “It is the will of the voters. No one, not anyone else who chooses the president of the United States of America.”

Biden’s victories in the upper Midwest put him in a strong position, but Trump showed no sign of giving up. He was back on Twitter around 2:30 a.m. Friday, insisting the “U.S. Supreme Court should decide!”

It could take several more days for the vote count to conclude and a clear winner to emerge. With millions of ballots yet to be tabulated, Biden already had received more than 73 million votes, the most in history.

Trump’s erroneous claims about the integrity of the election challenged Republicans now faced with the choice of whether to break with a president who, though his grip on his office grew tenuous, commanded sky-high approval ratings from rank-and-file members of the GOP.

Maryland GOP Gov. Larry Hogan, a potential 2024 presidential hopeful who has often criticized Trump, said unequivocally: “There is no defense for the President’s comments tonight undermining our Democratic process. America is counting the votes, and we must respect the results as we always have before.”

But others who are rumored to be considering a White House run of their own in four years aligned themselves with the incumbent, including Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., who tweeted support for Trump’s claims, writing that “If last 24 hours have made anything clear, it’s that we need new election integrity laws NOW.”

Trump’s campaign engaged in a flurry of legal activity to try to improve the Republican president’s chances, requesting a recount in Wisconsin and filing lawsuits in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Georgia.

Judges in Georgia and Michigan quickly dismissed Trump campaign lawsuits there on Thursday.

Trump held a small edge in Georgia, though Biden was gaining on him as votes continued to be counted. The same was true in Pennsylvania, where Trump’s lead had slipped to about 22,000 votes — and the race is destined to get tighter.

One reason is because elections officials were not allowed to process mail-in ballots until Election Day under state law. It’s a form of voting that has skewed heavily in Biden’s favor after Trump spent months claiming without proof that voting by mail would lead to widespread voter fraud.

Mail ballots from across the state were overwhelmingly breaking in Biden’s direction. A final vote total may not be clear for days because the use of mail-in ballots, which take more time to process, has surged as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Trump campaign said it was confident the president would ultimately pull out a victory in Arizona, where votes were also still being counted, including in Maricopa County, the state’s most populous area. The AP has declared Biden the winner in Arizona and said Thursday that it was monitoring the vote count as it proceeded.

“The Associated Press continues to watch and analyze vote count results from Arizona as they come in,” said Sally Buzbee, AP’s executive editor. “We will follow the facts in all cases.”

Trump's campaign was lodging legal challenges in several states, though he faced long odds. He would have to win multiple suits in multiple states in order to stop vote counts, since more than one state was undeclared.

Some of the Trump team's lawsuits only demand better access for campaign observers to locations where ballots are being processed and counted. A judge in Georgia dismissed the campaign’s suit there less than 12 hours after it was filed. And a Michigan judge dismissed a Trump lawsuit over whether enough GOP challengers had access to handling of absentee ballots

Biden attorney Bob Bauer said the suits were legally “meritless.” Their only purpose, he said “is to create an opportunity for them to message falsely about what’s taking place in the electoral process.” Edited on Nov 06, 2020, 06:43am

Trump needs to declare martial law.
Have Biden and that dangerous criminal Kamala Harris arrested for illegal acts and fraud.
Trump must assume command of the White House, to keep people safe.

To stop vote fraud, Trump needs to stop the vote counting: Trump has already declared victory.
Support Trump.
Put the fraudsters Biden and Harris in jail, where they belong.

Trump sues in 3 states, laying ground for contesting outcome

The Associated Press
MARK SHERMAN
Nov 4th 2020 9:16PM

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump's campaign filed lawsuits Wednesday in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Georgia, laying the groundwork for contesting battleground states as he slipped behind Democrat Joe Biden in the hunt for the 270 Electoral College votes needed to win the White House.

The new filings, joining existing Republican legal challenges in Pennsylvania and Nevada, demand better access for campaign observers to locations where ballots are being processed and counted, and absentee ballot concerns, the campaign said. However, at one Michigan location in question The Associated Press observed poll watchers from both sides monitoring on Wednesday.

The AP called Michigan for Democrat Joe Biden on Wednesday. Nevada, Pennsylvania and Georgia are undecided.

The Trump campaign also is seeking to intervene in a Pennsylvania case at the Supreme Court that deals with whether ballots received up to three days after the election can be counted, deputy campaign manager Justin Clark said.

The actions reveal an emerging legal strategy that the president had signaled for weeks, namely that he would attack the integrity of the voting process in states where the result could mean his defeat.

His campaign also announced that it would ask for a recount in Wisconsin, a state the AP called for Biden on Wednesday afternoon. Campaign manager Bill Stepien cited “irregularities in several Wisconsin counties,” without providing specifics.

Biden said Wednesday the count should continue in all states, adding, “No one’s going to take our democracy away from us — not now, not ever."

Campaign spokesman Andrew Bates said legal challenges were not the behavior of a winning campaign.

“What makes these charades especially pathetic is that while Trump is demanding recounts in places he has already lost, he’s simultaneously engaged in fruitless attempts to halt the counting of votes in other states in which he’s on the road to defeat,” Bates said in a statement.

Election officials continued to count votes across the country, the normal process on the day following voting. Unlike in previous years, states were contending with an avalanche of mail ballots driven by fears of voting in person during a pandemic. At least 103 million people voted early, either by mail or in-person, representing 74% of the total votes cast in the 2016 presidential election.

Every election, results reported on election night are unofficial and the counting of ballots extends past Election Day. Mail ballots normally take more time to verify and count. This year, because of the large numbers of mail ballots and a close race, results were expected to take longer.

The Trump campaign said it is calling for a temporary halt in the counting in Michigan and Pennsylvania until it is given “meaningful” access in numerous locations and allowed to review ballots that already have been opened and processed.

The AP's Michigan call for Biden came after the suit was filed. The president is ahead in Pennsylvania but his margin is shrinking as more mailed ballots are counted.

There have been no reports of fraud or any type of ballot concerns out of Pennsylvania. The state had 3.1 million mail-in ballots that take time to count and an order allows them to be received and counted up until Friday if they are postmarked by Nov. 3.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro said in a CNN interview the lawsuit was “more a political document than a legal document.”

“There is transparency in this process. The counting has been going on. There are observers observing this counting, and the counting will continue,” he said.
AdChoices

The Michigan lawsuit claims Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, a Democrat, was allowing absentee ballots to be counted without teams of bipartisan observers as well as challengers. She’s accused of undermining the “constitutional right of all Michigan voters...to participate in fair and lawful elections.” Michigan Democrats said the suit was a longshot.

Poll watchers from both sides were plentiful Wednesday at one major polling place in question — the TCF Center in Detroit, The Associated Press observed. They checked in at a table near the entrance to the convention center’s Hall E and strolled among the tables where ballot processing was taking place. In some cases, they arrived en masse and huddled together for a group discussion before fanning out to the floor. Uniformed Detroit police officers were on hand to make sure everyone was behaving.

Mark Brewer, a former state Democratic chairman who said he was observing the Detroit vote counting as a volunteer lawyer, said he had been at the TCF arena all day and had talked with others who had been there the past couple of days. He said Republicans had not been denied access.

“This is the best absentee ballot counting operation that Detroit has ever had. They are counting ballots very efficiently, despite the obstructing tactics of the Republicans.”

GOP lawyers had already launched legal challenges involving absentee votes in Pennsylvania and Nevada, contesting local decisions that could take on national significance in the close election.

In one appeal to a Pennsylvania appellate court, the Trump campaign complained that one of its representatives was prevented from seeing the writing on mail-in ballots that were being opened and processed in Philadelphia. A judge in Philadelphia dismissed it, saying that poll observers are directed to observe, not audit.

The Georgia lawsuit filed in Chatham County essentially asks a judge to ensure the state laws are being followed on absentee ballots. Campaign officials said they were considering peppering a dozen other counties around the state with similar claims around absentee ballots.

Trump, addressing supporters at the White House early Wednesday, talked about taking the undecided race to the Supreme Court. Though it was unclear what he meant, his comments evoked a reprise of the court’s intervention in the 2000 presidential election that ended with a decision effectively handing the presidency to George W. Bush.

But there are important differences from 2000 and they already were on display. In 2000, Republican-controlled Florida was the critical state and Bush clung to a small lead. Democrat Al Gore asked for a recount and the Supreme Court stopped it.

To some election law experts, calling for the Supreme Court to intervene now seemed premature, if not rash.

A case would have to come to the court from a state in which the outcome would determine the election’s winner, Richard Hasen, a University of California, Irvine, law professor, wrote on the Election Law blog. The difference between the candidates’ vote totals would have to be smaller than the ballots at stake in the lawsuit

“As of this moment (though things can change) it does not appear that either condition will be met,” Hasen wrote.

Ohio State University election law professor Edward Foley wrote on Twitter Wednesday: “The valid votes will be counted. (The Supreme Court) would be involved only if there were votes of questionable validity that would make a difference, which might not be the case. The rule of law will determine the official winner of the popular vote in each state. Let the rule of law work.”

Biden campaign attorney Bob Bauer said if Trump goes to the high court, “he will be in for one of the most embarrassing defeats a president has ever suffered by the highest court in the land.”

The justices could decide to step into the dispute over the three-day extension for absentee ballots if they prove crucial to the outcome in Pennsylvania.

Even a small number of contested votes could matter if a state determines the winner of the election and the gap between Trump and Biden is small.

North Dakota politician who died from coronavirus wins House race

New York Daily News
KATE FELDMAN
Nov 4th 2020 9:09AM

North Dakota residents elected a dead man to the state legislature Tuesday.

Republican David Andahl, 55, died Oct. 5 after a short battle with coronavirus. Less than a month later, Bismarck voters sent him and running mate Dave Nehring to the state House of Representatives out of District 8.

Early Wednesday morning results had Andahl garnering about 35% of the vote in the district, with only Nehring beating him at about 40%, according to the state election board.

State Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem ruled last month that all votes cast for Andahl should still be counted and that, if he won, a vacancy would be created in his seat. The seat could then be filled either by a legislative member’s party or by voters in a special election.

District 8 Republican Chairman Loren DeWitz said an appointment would “be open to anybody who would like to” seek it, according to the Bismarck Tribune.

“I want it to be wide open and fair," he told the paper.

Andahl, a cattle rancher and race car driver, was hospitalized for four days in early October after testing positive for coronavirus.

“He had a lot of feelings for his county and his country and wanting to make things better, and his heart was in farming. He wanted things better for farmers and the coal industry,” his mother, Pat Andahl, told the Tribune after his death.

"So many things he was very passionate about, and was hoping that he could get into the Legislature and be of some help. He was looking forward to it. He was looking forward to being part of that.”

Trump says he's won the election. But Biden, a poor loser, is trying to steal Trump's victory.

Trump says he's already won the election. Why he hasn't.

President Trump prematurely declared that he had won reelection early Wednesday morning, while millions of votes had yet to be counted in the key states that could decide the contest in former Vice President Joe Biden’s favor.

“Millions and millions of people voted for us tonight, and a very sad group of people is trying to disenfranchise that group of people. And we won’t stand for it,” Trump said to a group of supporters in the East Room of the White House at around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Election officials in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Nevada and Alaska, which all remained too close to call, continued to count the votes that will decide which candidate reaches the threshold of 270 Electoral College votes to claim victory.

As of 3:30 a.m. ET, Biden had 238 electoral votes to 213 for Trump. If Trump were in fact to carry all the states where he was in the lead, he would win the election comfortably. But that’s not how elections work.

“We won Texas by 700,000 votes, and they don’t even include it in the tabulations,” Trump said. “It’s also clear that we have won Georgia. We’re up by 2.5 percent or 117,000 votes, with only 7 percent left. They’re never going to catch us. They can’t catch us.”

After Trump was declared the winner in Texas, networks added the state’s 38 electoral votes to his total, so it was not clear what the president meant. In Georgia, news organizations like the Associated Press had held off making a call, because there were still enough uncounted votes to allow either candidate to win there.

Trump also complained that North Carolina had yet to be called in his favor, and took issue with Fox News for calling the race in Arizona for Biden.

“If you look and you see, Arizona we have a lot of life in that, and somebody said, somebody declared that it was a victory for, and maybe it will be — I mean that’s possible, but certainly there were a lot of votes out there that we could get, because we’re now just coming into what we call Trump territory.”

Moments after the president delivered his remarks, the Associated Press projected that Biden had won the state of Arizona and its 11 electoral votes.

Trump also claimed victory in Michigan, where he was leading, but only 55 percent of the vote had been tallied at the time he was speaking.

Then, repeating a contention that he has often floated, Trump alleged that Democrats had launched a conspiracy against him, using mail-in ballots.

“I’ve been saying this since the day I heard they were going to send out tens of millions of ballots. Because either they were going to win, or if they didn’t win, they were going to take us to court,” Trump said.

A few moments later, though, he went on, “We will be going to the U.S. Supreme Court. We want all voting to stop.”

In truth, the counting of votes in American presidential elections routinely drags on for days, as absentee and mail-in ballots are tabulated. Twenty-three states allow for those ballots to be tallied after Election Day, as long as they are postmarked by the date of the election. State legislatures controlled by Republicans in states like Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin have refused to allow election officials there to tabulate mail ballots before Election Day.

Trump may not like it, but that is the way our elections are conducted, despite his months of campaigning to discredit voting by mail and his insistence that this year, the counting of votes not extend beyond Nov. 3.

“This is a fraud on the American public,” Trump said. “This is an embarrassment to our country. We were getting ready to win this election. Frankly, we did win this election.”

Trump claims victory. Threatens to go to the Supreme Court to stop the voting.

President Trump, in an effort to stop the Democrats from stealing the election, has stood up for justice and the American way of life.

Trump has vowed to go to the Supreme Court to stop the Communists, the Socialists, and unwashed Mexicans and unwashed Canadians from stealing our votes.

Vote today, and keep America free, White, and the nation of God-fearing people.

Amen.

Note: only registered Republicans can vote today, and in the near future. Votes by Democrats will not be allowed or counted.

AMC seeks stock sale to raise $50 million to stave off bankruptcy
Published Mon, Nov 2 202010:02 AM EST

Key Points

AMC is looking to sell up to 20 million class A shares to secure nearly $50 million in new capital.
The world’s largest cinema chain, which has been slammed by the coronavirus pandemic, is set to report quarterly earnings Monday afternoon..
Last month, it warned investors that its dwindling cash pile could push it to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

AMC, starved for cash, is looking to sell up to 20 million class A shares to secure nearly $50 million in new capital, according to an SEC filing published Monday.

Shares of the company — the world’s largest cinema chain — fell nearly 7% in early trading Monday. The company is set to report quarterly earnings Monday afternoon.

The filing is just the latest fundraising attempt by AMC. Like others in the industry, the company has been slammed by the coronavirus pandemic. First it was forced to shutter hundreds of theaters, and then after reopening, saw customers stay home and major Hollywood blockbusters delay their openings.

Last month, AMC warned investors that its dwindling cash pile could push it to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Heading into the pandemic, AMC already had $4.75 billion in debt, which it amassed from outfitting its theaters with luxury seating and from buying competitors like Carmike and Odeon.

The cinema chain has been focused on fundraising for months. It has already renegotiated its debt to improve its balance sheet this year and has been exploring a variety of ways to boost its liquidity.

At a maximum offering price of $2.39 each, selling 20 million shares would raise $47.7 million for AMC.

The company needs to hold on long enough for new content to arrive in theaters. The next big feature is “The Croods: A New Age” which is slated for Thanksgiving. Theater chains are holding out hope that “Free Guy” and “Wonder Woman 1984” hold their December release plans. Without these new films moviegoers won’t venture away from their couches.

AMC and other theaters have been hemorrhaging money in order to stay afloat. Last month, AMC released a preliminary earnings report that said the company had earned around $119.5 million in revenue during the three-month period ended Sept. 30. That’s a steep fall from the $1.32 billion gain AMC tallied during the same period last year.

For the first nine months of 2020, AMC said it took in revenue of $1.08 billion, a fraction of the $4.02 billion a year earlier.

U.K. Exhibitors’ Body Calls for More Government Funding as English Cinemas Prepare to Close

British film exhibitors’ body, the U.K. Cinema Assn., has called for increased government funding in addition to the £30 million ($38.6 million) being disbursed by the British Film Institute Cultural Recovery Fund to independent cinemas.

Cinemas across England will close Nov.5 to Dec. 2 as part of the second national lockdown being undertaken to restrict the rapid spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

Wales and Northern Ireland are already in lockdown with cinemas shuttered, as are large parts of Scotland.

“The announcement that cinemas in England will be required to close from Thursday, coming as it does after similar decisions in Wales and Northern Ireland, and with almost all cinemas in Scotland likewise now shuttered, will be a further blow to the U.K. sector,” said U.K. Cinema Association chief executive Phil Clapp.

The existing furlough scheme, due to conclude at the end of October, has now been extended till December.

“While we welcome the extension of the furlough scheme, all cinemas will require additional funding support if they are to recover from this, the latest of a series of set-backs,” Clapp said. “While the announcement of £30 million of support for independent cinemas in England (and consequent announcements in the rest of the U.K.) was welcome, those venues need confirmation of their awards now, given the need for them to plan for continuing challenges over the coming months.”

“At the same time, we renew our call for government to support those larger cinema companies who are not eligible for the above funding, but are major employers in the sector, as well as making a hugely valuable contribution to their local communities,” Clapp added.

The Cineworld chain was already closed, following the postponement of James Bond film “No Time to Die” to Easter 2021. Many screens of the Vue and Odeon chains were operating on weekends only.

Employee collective, the Cineworld Action Group, tweeted: “With the announcement that furlough has been extended in light of the English lockdown, we call on @cineworld to do the right thing and place us back on the job retention scheme, with pay backdated to 16th October when the company placed the majority of us on unpaid leave.”

“Cutting us off from furlough two weeks before the original end date was in itself a callous decision. Indefinite unpaid leave places many staff members in extremely precarious financial situations. Being placed back on furlough would be a lifeline for us.”

Sean Connery
Positively shocking: Trump's boasts of help from Sean Connery fall apart

President claimed Bond actor helped him get planning permission for Scottish resort

On Sunday Trump paid tribute to the actor, who has died aged 90.
Sun 1 Nov 2020 13.52 EST

First published on Sun 1 Nov 2020 09.49 EST

It was less licence to kill and more dramatic licence. Donald Trump’s claim that the late Sean Connery assisted him in getting planning applications passed in Scotland fell apart quickly on Sunday when the chair of the planning committee said the James Bond star was not involved.

In a series of tweets, two days prior to the US election, Trump paid tribute to Connery, saying he was “highly regarded and respected in Scotland and beyond”. It was announced on Saturday the James Bond actor had died aged 90.

But his claim that Connery stepped in and shouted “let him build the damn thing” in connection with a big development raised eyebrows in Scotland.

He tweeted that “everything went swimmingly” with his development plans after initially “having a very hard time getting approvals”.

In 2008 Connery is reported as saying of the project: “During tough economic times, this is a major vote of confidence in Scotland’s tourist industry and our ability to rise to the challenge. I look forward to seeing a new gem in the north-east that is good for Aberdeenshire and good for Scotland.”

But Martin Ford, the Aberdeenshire councillor who was chair of the planning committee that initially refused Trump’s application to build the resort, told the Guardian: “Mr Connery was not involved in the due process that led to the granting of planning permission for a golf resort at Menie. He did not submit a letter of representation to the council, appear at the planning hearing, or at the public local inquiry.”

Ford added: “Opinions offered in press articles are not material considerations in decisions on planning applications.”

Former Scottish first minister Alex Salmond said: “Scotland and much of the world is mourning the loss of a great spirit. Sean Connery’s contribution and life’s work was immense, real and lasting and everyone with an ounce of class is reflecting upon just that today. Tributes are great from all sources but this is not a time for tweeting silly claims or indeed responding to them.”

David Milne, a near neighbour of the Trump golf course in Scotland, and the US president’s most vocal local critic, said the claim that Connery helped him land planning permission for his golf resort was “utter bollocks”.

Milne said Connery had never played the course, despite Trump’s invites.

The actor was offered the honour of becoming the first member of Trump’s golf resort at Menie, north of Aberdeen, with membership number 007, which the property mogul built after bulldozing a very rare dune habitat as well as overriding local planning rules.

Trump had said that he wanted the star to play the first shot on the course. But when the resort was opened two years later, Trump played first balls with former Ryder Cup captain Colin Montgomerie instead.

The pair did know each other, however. Connery and Trump were photographed together at several events in New York, including the Johnnie Walker Dressed to Kilt fashion show in the early 2000s.

Americans are fighting to vote ...... in the most consequential election in modern US history. But the Trump administration and its supporters are waging an aggressive campaign to discredit and suppress mail-in voting – a crucial method in the midst of a pandemic.

This is one of a number of attempts to suppress the votes of Americans – something that has been a stain on US democracy for decades. The Voting Rights Act was passed 55 years ago to undo a web of restrictions designed to block Black Americans from the ballot box. Now, seven years after that law was gutted by the supreme court, the president is actively threatening a free and fair election.

Through our Fight to vote project, the Guardian has pledged to put voter suppression at the center of our 2020 coverage. This election will impact every facet of American life. But it will not be a genuine exercise in democracy if American voters are stopped from participating in it.

At a time like this, an independent news organisation that fights for truth and holds power to account is not just optional. It is essential. Like many other news organisations, the Guardian has been significantly impacted by the pandemic. We rely to an ever greater extent on our readers, both for the moral force to continue doing journalism at a time like this and for the financial strength to facilitate that reporting.

Connery was nominated again for a Golden Globe in 1989, this time receiving a best supporting actor nod for his role as Professor Henry Jones in the classic "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade." (Incidentally, that's the same year People Magazine deemed him the "sexiest man alive." When he learned of the award, Connery quipped: "Well there aren't many sexy dead men, are there?")

Just one year after Indiana Jones, Connery played an integral part in yet another instant classic, "The Hunt For Red October." In the movie he portrayed a Soviet submarine captain named Marko Ramius who piloted a stealth submarine in a high-stakes game of nuclear-armed, Cold War-era chess with the U.S. Navy.

His career continued with "Rising Sun" in 1993, "The Rock" in 1996, "Entrapment" in 1999, "Finding Forrester" in 2000, and "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" in 2003.

Sir Thomas Sean Connery, the iconic Scottish actor and Hollywood legend who made a name for himself as the first James Bond, has died, according to multiple outlets.

He was 90.

Before he was “Bond, James Bond,” Connery was just another kid in a working-class neighborhood in Fountainbridge, Scotland. Born on Aug. 25, 1930, to Joe and Euphamia Connery, “Tommy” ― as he was nicknamed ― spent his first years sleeping in a drawer, as his parents were unable to afford a crib.

“My background was harsh,” Connery has acknowledged. “We were poor, but I never knew how poor till years after.”

“It sounds strange to say it now,” he recalled in an interview with The Scottish Sun, “but we never realized we lacked anything!”

His father worked at a nearby mill, and Connery began working at a young age to help support himself and his family. He began delivering milk at the age of 9 (incidentally, he picked up smoking at about the same age), toting bottles from house to house via horse-drawn cart. At the age of 13, as World War II raged, Connery dropped out of school to work full time and earn his keep at home.

“From the time I started working at 13, I always paid my share of the rent, and the attitude at home was the prevalent one in Scotland ― you make your own bed and so you have to lie on it,” he said in a 1965 interview with Playboy. “I didn’t ask for advice and I didn’t get it. I had to make it on my own or not at all.”

Connery joined the Royal Navy three years later, working as an armorer. He inked two tattoos while in the service: one that read “Scotland Forever” and another that read “Mum and Dad.” Both lasted longer than his navy career. Though he signed on for a seven-year stint in the navy, he was discharged after only three, sidelined due to a persistent stomach ulcer.

Following his discharge from the navy, Connery scraped by doing random jobs, working stints as a bricklayer, lifeguard and coffin polisher. He also spent hours at the gym and posed as a nude model from time to time at the Edinburgh College of Art, which still owns some paintings of him:

A gallery assistant looks at a 1952 oil on canvas painting of Scottish actor Sean Connery in the Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland on Oct. 25, 2007. Al Fairweather, a student, painted it just before Connery auditioned for the stage production of South Pacific.Sean Connery, at center, poses during a bodybuilding competition.

Connery’s first acting job came only after his bodybuilding pursuits led him to a Mr. Universe competition in London in 1953. He placed third at the competition, and while there, a fellow bodybuilder mentioned auditions were being held for the play “South Pacific.” Despite having virtually no experience, Sean decided to go for it (instead of pursuing a career in soccer), and was awarded a small role.

“I’d no experience whatever [at acting] and hadn’t even been on a stage before, but it turned out to be one of my more intelligent moves,” he told Playboy in 1965.

In his new gig, Connery earned £12.00 a week playing Sergeant Waters, a member of the chorus. He’d lied about his acting abilities during the audition and immersed himself in literature to make up for his shortcomings, reading everything from George Bernard Shaw and Shakespeare to War and Peace and James Joyce.

“I read them all,” Connery recalled in a later interview. “I went to the libraries in every town up and down Britain.” At the same time, he began reading aloud into a tape-recorder, playing the tapes back to himself in an attempt to refine his thick Scottish dialect.

“I loved him because he had this twinkle all the time … he’s a great, great character,” Millicent Martin, one of the co-stars in “South Pacific,” said. “The only thing was, nobody could understand a word Sean was saying.”

Slowly, and with much hard work, Connery overcame the hurdles ― and his indecipherable accent. Following “South Pacific,” he picked up parts in “Another Time, Another Place” in 1958 and “Anna Christie” in 1957, where he met his first wife, Australian actress Diane Cilento, whom he married in 1962. (The marriage ended in 1973; Cilento later said he had been physically abusive, and he once caused controversy by telling Playboy he didn’t think “there is anything particularly wrong about hitting a woman.”)

Connery remarried in 1975 to Tunisian-born French artist Micheline Roquebrune, whom he’d met during a golf tournament in Morocco in 1970.

In 1962, to the apparent surprise of both industry insiders and Connery himself, he earned the part of Secret Agent 007 in a film interpretation of Ian Fleming's 1958 novel, Dr. No.

Many skeptics believed Connery had been miscast in the role (including Fleming himself, who described the Scotsman as more of "an overgrown stunt-man" than Bond material), a sentiment Connery didn't go out of his way to dispute.

"Before I got the part, I might have agreed with them," he told Playboy. "If you had asked any casting director who would be the sort of man to cast as Bond, an Eton-bred Englishman, the last person into the box would have been me, a working-class Scotsman. And I didn't particularly have the face for it; at 16 I looked 30."

Sean Connery in a scene from the 1963 film "From Russia With Love."

Most of Fleming's choices for the role were either too expensive (in the case of Cary Grant) or turned the part down; some believed the entire "James Bond" concept would flop and wasn't worth the risk.

"Anybody that says it was going to be a success is lying," Connery recalled to the UK's Express in 2008.

Nevertheless, audiences said yes to "Dr. No." Connery's performance helped nurture a box-office hit, justifying the production of four more Bond films in quick succession, in which Connery played the suave, martini-loving British spy.

In addition to 1962's "Dr. No," Connery starred in "From Russia with Love" (1963), "Goldfinger" (1964), "Thunderball" (1965), and "You Only Live Twice" (1967). After a brief hiatus, he returned for a role in "Diamonds are Forever" (1971) before retiring from the Bond series with "Never Say Never Again" (1983).

Actor Sean Connery poses as James Bond next to his Aston Martin DB5 in a scene from the United Artists release "Goldfinger" in 1964.

Despite the newfound financial success, Connery stayed frugal. He told Playboy he used his “Dr. No” salary of £6,000 (approximately $16,800, or about $133,000 in 2016 dollars) to buy a used Jaguar and a house ― and that’s about it.

“Old habits die hard,” Connery said in 1965. “Even today, when I have a big meal in a restaurant, I’m still conscious that the money I’m spending is equal to my dad’s wages for a week. I just can’t get over that ... I’m still the sort of fellow who hates to see a light left on in a room when no one is there.”

Successful as the James Bond series had become, Connery was loathe to stay part of it for too long. He welcomed the paychecks, but didn’t want to become a commodity synonymous with the franchise ― especially as the series made increasingly more use of death-defying stunts.

“There are a lot of things I did before Bond ― like playing the classics on stage ― that don’t seem to get publicized. So you see,” he told Playboy, “this Bond image is a problem in a way and a bit of a bore, but one has just got to live with it.”

“I’m not into hardware, rockets and extraordinary guns that can blow 50 people away at once,” he told “Entertainment Tonight” in a 1995 interview. “I have no real interest in that, it’s what really got me out of the Bond films — they all went in the same direction. It’s a personal thing.”

He had good reason: In addition to putting him through scenes that required he swim underwater with sharks, directors once strapped Connery to a table in “Goldfinger” for a hair-raising scene in which a “laser” nearly cut him in half.

Lacking real lasers, a crew member armed with an acetylene torch crouched under the table to create a laser-like effect instead, stopping just three inches shy of cutting into the terrified actor's groin.

Once, he actually did get hurt. During preparations for "Never Say Never Again," Connery recruited Steven Seagal to help him train for a scene involving martial arts. "I got a little cocky because I thought I knew what I was doing," he told Jay Leno in 1996, "and he broke my wrist.”

Connery says he mistakenly thought he'd merely sprained his wrist, only to have it diagnosed many years later as a break. He jokingly told Leno the break wasn't that bad -- the only lingering pain from the incident came when he had to fish his wallet out of his pocket to pay for something.

Following the Bond series, Connery played a master swordsman in "Highlander" and a Franciscan friar in "The Name of the Rose," both released in 1986. A year later, Connery took on the affect of Jim Malone in the mobster thriller "The Untouchables," for which he won both an Oscar and a Golden Globe for best supporting actor.

Porn stars are normal people, with a sense of artistic integrity.

Here is one young porn star who refuses to do a scene because it apparently lacks moral value.
Good for the young porn star, for standing up to the director's demands.

I believe the porn star is past the age of consent, but I could be wrong.
Avoid watching, if this scene offends your moral standards.

The porn star is a cutie, and her soft pleas for understanding melt my heart.

Ukrainian fitness influencer dies from COVID after denying it exists
By Yaron Steinbuch

A Ukrainian fitness influencer with 1.1 million followers on Instagram has died of the coronavirus – after previously doubting the existence of the deadly bug, according to reports.

Dmitriy Stuzhuk, a buff 33-year-old who promoted healthy living, notified his fans of his diagnosis from his hospital bed, saying he woke up with breathing difficulties during a trip to Turkey and developed a cough the following day, the Sun reported.

He was tested after returning to Ukraine and was diagnosed with the illness.

“I was one who thought that COVID does not exist… until I got sick,” Stuzhuk wrote on Instagram. “COVID-19 IS NOT A SHORT-LIVED DISEASE! And it is heavy.”

He added that his condition was “stable.”

“The hospital is completely filled with people, some of them being treated in corridors,” wrote Stuzhuk, who was allowed to leave the hospital after eight days but was rushed back soon after.

His ex-wife Sofia Stuzhuk, 25, the mother of his three kids, later announced that he was in “grave condition” and unconscious, according to the news outlet.

“Dima (Dmitriy) had problems with his cardiovascular system… His heart is not coping,” she wrote on Instagram, where she has 5 million followers.

“His state is extremely grave. No one can do anything with this. I did everything I could so the father of my three children lives. But nothing depends on me now,” she added before announcing his death.

The couple — whose youngest child is just 9 months old — broke up six months ago amid “constant betrayal, cursing, showdown and stress” but recently said they were back on good terms.

“Only warm memories remain, three beautiful kids and valuable experience,” Sofia wrote. “God, it is so terrible to realize that he is not with us anymore…”

If you're willing to spend the time, you can go over past postings, and click on the "Edit Message" link at the bottom of each of your posts.

And then wipe out the message, and put the message "Deleted" or whatever you want to write instead.

Personally, I don't think you were trying to be mean or to criticize the models. You were just asking about them. But people can take things the wrong way, as I've found out in the past, when I've posted replies that some people read as criticism or personal attacks.

But you can easily deleted past posts with the "Edit Message" link at the bottom of each of your posts.

That would probably be much faster, than waiting for a response from the PU staff, who seem to take a hands-off approach to the PU site, in many cases.

James Bond Film ‘No Time to Die’ Explored $600 Million Sale to Streaming Services

By Brent Lang, Matt Donnelly

Apple, Netflix and other streaming services explored the possibility of acquiring “No Time to Die,” the upcoming James Bond movie that was originally slated to debut last April. The film’s release has been postponed multiple times, with the Daniel Craig vehicle moving back to November before being pushed into 2021 as the number of coronavirus cases kept growing.

MGM, the studio behind the film, reportedly lost between $30 million to $50 million due to the delays, insiders said. Bloomberg first reported the discussions, which have been the topic du jour in Hollywood this week. Other studios, such as Paramount and Sony, have raked in tens of millions by selling movies like “Greyhound,” “Coming 2 America” and “Without Remorse” to streaming services while the exhibition sector continues to struggle during the pandemic.

“We do not comment on rumors. The film is not for sale. The film’s release has been postponed until April 2021 in order to preserve the theatrical experience for moviegoers,” an MGM spokesperson told Variety.

However, multiple insiders at rival studios and companies said that a possible Bond sale was explored overtly, and believe that MGM was at least open to the possibility of unloading their crown jewel for a princely sum. The studio was said to be looking for a deal of roughly $600 million — a price tag that was deemed too rich for two of the free-spending streaming services. A sale of this magnitude would be led exclusively by Kevin Ulrich, the chairman and CEO of MGM’s majority owner Anchorage Capital Group, insiders said.

It’s unclear if producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, who exert control of the series through their company Eon, would sign off on the deal. Universal Pictures, which has foreign distribution rights to “No Time to Die,” would have to be made whole in any possible sale and reimbursed for any expenses the studio incurred. That the parties involved would explore a streaming sale is notable, given that the film was the first tentpole to move release dates before coronavirus was upgraded to a global pandemic — making it an early indicator that even the iconic spy and ladies man would not save us from the viral event.

Moving “No Time to Die” to a streaming service poses some logistical challenges. The film costs more than $250 million to produce and has lined up several promotional partnerships to help defray those costs — including Land Rover, Omega watches and Heineken. Those companies may have been expecting the film to hit theaters and might not be thrilled with a streaming-only bow. “Coming 2 America’s” sale to Amazon, for instance, was contingent on making sure that its promotional partners, McDonald’s and Crown Royal, were on board with the change in plans.

Important update:

Trump has persistently amplified disinformation throughout his presidency, and last week he refused to condemn the dangerous QAnon conspiracy theory, which holds that a satanic cult of liberal elites is running a pedophile ring that Trump is secretly working to stop.
-------------

I knew that America was under the gun of evil people who are trying to destroy Democracy.

But I didn't realize, until I read this article, that Trump is the leader of The Free World who is fighting Satan.

Stop Joe Biden, who worships the Devil.
Stop Kamala Harris, who is waiting in the wings if Biden dies, who will sacrifice White Americans to the Devil.

We must be strong and united. We must support General Bonespurs, who has dedicated his life to fighting the spread of Communism and Satanic worship.

And we must lock up Obama, Biden, and that evil woman, Hilary Clinton, for crimes against the United States of America.

If not for Donald Trump, the most stable genius the world has ever known, a hundred times smarter than Einstein and Newton put together, the US would have had 700,000 to 800,000 deaths.
But Trump has kept the US death toll to about 200,000, by ignoring the fake advice he was getting from such "health experts" as Fauci and others.

Re-elect Donald Trump, the savior of America.
He will make America great again.
And he will make the fuckers in Canada and Mexico pay for our new border walls, or he will bomb them into the Hell, which is where they belong if they don't listen to Trump, our glorious Commander-In-Chief, who has his fingers on the triggers of many Megatons of the most powerful nuclear weapons in the world today.

Canadians: you have been warned.
Mexicans: you have been warned.
Muslims and other foreign threats: No warning needed. You will be destroyed once Trump is re-elected.

Trump rails against 'disaster' Fauci on campaign staff call

Yahoo News
Christopher Wilson
Oct 19th 2020 1:13PM

President Trump railed against Dr. Anthony Fauci during a call Monday morning, calling him and a “disaster” who has “been here for 500 years.”

According to multiple reporters listening in on a campaign staff call two weeks out from Election Day, Trump said that people were tired of coronavirus mitigation efforts. He also claimed, without evidence, that if the administration had listened to Fauci, one of the nation’s premier infectious disease experts and the longtime head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, “we’d have 700,00, 800,000 deaths.”

“People are tired of COVID. I have these huge rallies. People are saying, ‘Whatever. Just leave us alone.’ They’re tired of it. People are tired of hearing Fauci and all these idiots,” Trump said, adding, “Fauci is a nice guy. He’s been here for 500 years.”

While Americans are certainly tired of COVID-19, polling shows a majority are committed to taking precautions to try and reduce its spread. According to a new Yahoo News/YouGov poll, 67 percent say it should be mandatory to wear a mask in public. Another 60 percent said Trump was not following the advice of medical experts closely enough.

A National Geographic/Morning Consult poll taken earlier in October also found that 74 percent of Americans said they always wear a mask when leaving their home.

Trump’s handling of the pandemic, which has killed more than 219,000 Americans and resulted in the president himself being hospitalized earlier this month, has been criticized since the coronavirus appeared early this year. The Yahoo News/YouGov poll found that 59 percent of respondents said the president underestimated the risks.

“Every time [Fauci] goes on television there’s always a bomb, but there’s a bigger bomb if you fire him,” Trump added. “This guy’s a disaster."

The war of words between Fauci and Trump intensified last week after Fauci asked that a Trump campaign ad that featured the doctor’s words being used out of context to praise the president be taken down. Fauci told the Daily Beast of the ad, “By doing this against my will they are, in effect, harassing me. Since campaign ads are about getting votes, their harassment of me might have the opposite effect of turning some voters off.”

Trump was aware of the possibility reporters were listening in on the call and noted, “If there’s a reporter on, you can have it just the way I said it, I couldn’t care less.”

The president has started campaigning more over the last week as polling shows him behind Democratic nominee Joe Biden both nationally and in key swing states.

Trump also implied on the call that some unknown scandal was about to damage Biden, leaving him an “impotent” candidate, and that the former vice president should be in prison. The president, who spent the 2016 campaign leading “Lock her up” chants aimed at then-Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, has a history of insisting his opponents should be incarcerated.

The president concluded the call by telling staffers, “Get off this phone and work your asses off because we are going to win.”

My OS is Windows 10.
I've been using the Everything.exe program for years.
I did a Norton virus scan on the program when I first installed it, and have done many full system scans since then, and the Everything.exe program never showed up as a threat, potential or otherwise.

The WiseJetSearch.exe is also freeware, and raised no flags with the Norton antivirus.
I started using the WiseJetSearch.exe because the Everything.exe did not scan all of my external drives.

There is a fake version of Everything.exe that is a malware program.

Like you wrote, hackers can create malware fakes that have the same name as valid programs. So there are probably fake WiseJetSearch.exe programs out there.

I run Norton scan a lot, and have found very few malware files on my PCs.
Just lucky, I guess.
And the malware files I had were easy to remove.

But Norton, McAfee, etc. are limited in what they can find.
An excellent hacker can probably write programs that will be installed on your PC, if you visit the wrong site, download the wrong file, use wifi a lot, etc.
But for peace of mind, I use Norton antivirus.
Although I am thinking of switching to McAfee, since that's included with my internet cable, and I was paying annually for the Norton service.

Windows search scans your PC and the internet.
I prefer to have a simpler search engine, that only scans my PC.
And the 2 search engines I use are both free and faster than the Windows search, take little drive space, and update results very fast. Edited on Oct 17, 2020, 04:18pm

If you start to download a lot of porn, you need some way to keep it organized.
I used to try to re-name my photosets and videos with the name of the site, female porn star(s), posting date, and title of the photoset or video.
A few sites (like the MetArt sites) do this for you with the default file name.

But for years now, I've become really lazy, and my porn collection is a jumbled mess.

What helps is having a good search engine that will search my files by model's name, or site name.

Everything.exe is good, but it doesn't include all the external drives I have.
So I also use WiseJetSearch.exe, which does search not only the main drive, but also the external drives.

However, the Everything.exe is better at starting the files you find.

Both search programs are free, and there is no learning curve: they both work from the start. And their footprints are small, they only take a small amount of storage space. Edited on Oct 16, 2020, 06:50am

China Box Office Poised to Surpass U.S. as World’s Largest Moviegoing Market Amid Pandemic

My People, My Homeland

China’s patriotic “My People, My Homeland” has grossed $325 million as of Monday evening local time, earning more money in less than two weeks than the $323 million that Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet” has grossed globally in over a month, according to data from Maoyan and Box Office Mojo.

This weekend, the total China box office hit $68 million, once again far surpassing sales in North America, where cinemas earned less than $9.5 million. To date, the Chinese box office has grossed $1.9 billion so far in 2020. Although this marks a 76% decrease year-over-year, the tally puts China now neck-and-neck with the North American market’s year-to-date earnings of $1.92 billion.

Cinema-going is on the rise in China as the pandemic remains under control, with strong local films set to release in the remainder of the year. Meanwhile, U.S. theaters are heading for trouble as Hollywood studio tentpoles drop off the calendar and the coronavirus continues to rage across the states. Given these factors, it now seems inevitable that the Middle Kingdom will surpass the U.S. as the world’s largest film market in 2020 in a matter of days or weeks.

The performance of “My People, My Homeland” demonstrates the extent to which China’s market has recovered in the wake of COVID-19 and remains robust enough to send local tentpoles too jingoistic to entice audiences abroad nonetheless soaring to great heights.

Produced by “Wolf Warrior 2” and “The Wandering Earth” studio Beijing Culture, the film once again led the box office this weekend with sizable sales of $38.2 million, according to figures from consultancy Artisan Gateway. The omnibus title features five shorts from a who’s who of China’s most bankable directors: Ning Hao (“Crazy Alien”), Xu Zheng (“Lost in Russia”), Chen Sicheng (“Detective Chinatown 3”), Yan Fei and Peng Damo (“Hello Mr. Billionaire”), Deng Chao (“Shadow”) and Yu Baimei (“The Breakup Guru”).

Behind it in second place was Enlight Pictures’ animated film “Jiang Ziya: Legend of Deification,” which made $10.2 million this weekend to bring its cume up to $216 million. The Maoyan platform predicts it will go on to earn just $10 million more over the course of its run — a lesser performance than that of last summer’s “Nezha,” the $720 million-grossing animated hit from the same universe that precedes this tale.

In third place was the Gong Li-starring volleyball drama “Leap,” directed by Hong Kong’s Peter Chan, which made $7.6 million in its third weekend in theaters.

Local comedy “Coffee or Tea” came in fourth, with $7.1 million in sales. The Jackie Chan-starring action film “Vanguard” brought up the rear in fifth with a box office of $2.6 million, bringing its cume up to $35.7 million.

My take on "Patty Jenkins Warns Theater Shutdowns ‘Will Not Be a Reversible Process’":

The big movie chains are being hurt financially, so there will be less movie theaters still around in the coming years.

Which probably means less profits for the big tent pole movies (like Wonder Woman, etc.).

The introduction of television dramatically hurt the movie industry. Movie attendance fell a lot.

Almost no one now living were adults in the Golden Age of Hollywood, the 1930s-1940s.

Although movies in the 50s, 60s and 70s were still popular, I think the attendance figures dropped a lot.
That's just my impression.
The profits didn't nosedive, because the price of movies kept rising. And instead of showing two movies for one ticket, you paid one ticket for one movie.
And the price of concession food rose even faster.
Again, just my impression. Not based on any studies of the prices or actual history.

So Patty Jenkins is stating there could be, and probably will be, a dramatic hit to movie attendance from the corona virus, that will last well beyond the current year.
At least, in Hollywood.
But see the next article, which shows that China is now poised to become the biggest market for movies in the world, surpassing the US.

Good for you, Sir.
I keep a copy of most of my joins and cancels, but not every site or biller will send you a copy of a join and/or a cancel.

But you seem to be a heck of lot more organized than I am.

Hoping that you do get the money refunded.

I had a dispute with MoviePass, the service that was supposed to give you 3 movies per month for a paid 1-year sub.

I paid through Discover card.

I never got a pass to see a movie through the sub.
I disputed the payment to MoviePass, said the service was poor, and that I never got entry to any movies.

Discover got in touch with MoviePass, and MoviePass said they were willing and able to give me the service.

I sent Discover an email, showing that MoviePass had put my membership on hold, that I could not use the service.

Discover said they had to listen to both sides, and said the charge by MoviePass was valid. Even though I told Discover I never was able to use the service to see a single movie. And that my membership was put on hold (that I could not use the service).

And Discover did not refund my payment.
And when I told Discover there were internet pages with hundreds of complaints about the MoviePass service, Discover said those complaints did not apply to my complaint.

First time I was disappointed with the Discover card.
I paid for a service that did not give me what the service promised, and Discover said that the service stated they were willing to give me service.
"Willing to give me service", when I told them I never got the service I paid for, and sent Discover a copy of the email stating that the service has put my membership on hold.

A while later, MoviePass went out of business.
Too many complaints, I guess.

Patty Jenkins Warns Theater Shutdowns ‘Will Not Be a Reversible Process’
Jenkins' upcoming "Wonder Woman 1984" has been shuffled around on the calendar four times due to the pandemic.

Ryan Lattanzio

“Wonder Woman 1984”

Warner Bros.

One of the major moviegoing casualties of the COVID-19 pandemic has been Patty Jenkins’ upcoming DC tentpole “Wonder Woman 1984.” The sequel starring Gal Gadot as the title superhero has been shuffled four times on the release calendar by Warner Bros. due to the global situation, but the movie is now expected to open as a Christmas Day release on December 25, 2020. It was originally set to open June 5, then August 14, then October 2.

Meanwhile, Cineworld-owned Regal venues have shuttered their doors around the world once again, and significant markets like New York and Los Angeles remain closed to audiences. In a recent interview with Reuters, “Wonder Woman 1984” director Jenkins warned that the damage done by theaters shutting down entirely will be difficult to undo, and Jenkins is joining the chorus of Hollywood directors appealing to the U.S. government to help save cinemas.

“If we shut this down, this will not be a reversible process,” she said. “We could lose movie theater-going forever.”

Though nearly three-quarters of U.S. theaters are open, and “Tenet” resuscitated the global box office with healthy returns to the tune of more than $307 million, studios like Warner Bros. are continuing to push their movies off into next year, from “Dune” to MGM/United Artists’ “No Time to Die.”

“It could be the kind of thing that happened to the music industry, where you could crumble the entire industry by making it something that can’t be profitable,” Jenkins said. She also added, “I don’t think any of us want to live in a world where the only option is to take your kids to watch a movie in your own living room, and not have a place to go for a date.”

Another movie heading the straight-to-VOD route is Disney/Pixar’s “Soul,” pushed off its November release and debuting on Disney+ on December 25. But Jenkins and Warner Bros. continue to insist that VOD play is not being considered for “Wonder Woman 1984.”

“I really hope that we are able to be one of the very first ones to come back and bring that into everyone’s life,” she said of the movie’s role in hopefully jumpstarting moviegoing again this winter.

Drive-in movies will now qualify for the Oscars.
When I was growing up (back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth) drive-in movies were aimed at teens.
But in today's world, drive-in movies are now considered classics, suitable for inclusion in the Oscars.
Will Roger Corman be the first C-movie director to win the Academy Award?
Stay tuned, for further developments.

Oscars: Drive-In Screenings Will Now Count Towards Eligibility (Exclusive)
Films that screen at drive-in theaters will need to show only once a day, as opposed to three times a day for films that screen elsewhere.

It would have been hard to imagine a year ago, but the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences voted on Tuesday that drive-in screenings will now count towards qualifying a film for the 93rd Oscars, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. For drive-in screenings, there will only be one screening per day required, as opposed to three for all others.

The move was part of a series of tweaks to Awards Rule Two regarding eligibility, following a first wave of COVID-related changes that were announced back in the spring in response to theater closures, the most notable of which was allowing films that were no longer able to proceed with a planned theatrical release to still qualify if they screened on a streaming or VOD platform first, provided they then screened on the Academy Screening Room members-only streaming service within 60 days thereafter.

With the gradual re-opening of theaters, the Academy has added this two-part addendum:

1. Films which are intended for theatrical release, but are initially made available through commercial streaming, VOD service or other broadcast may qualify by making the film available on the secure Academy Screening Room member site within 60 days of the film’s streaming/VOD release or broadcast.

2. Films may qualify with a traditional theatrical release, completing a seven-day run in one of six qualifying cities (Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco/Bay Area, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta), screening at least three times daily, with at least one screening between 6 pm and 10 pm daily. Additionally, drive-in theaters in these cities will now qualify as a commercial venue, however, the screening requirement will be adjusted from three times daily to once daily. Films that have a theatrical release are not required to submit to the Academy Screening Room within 60 days — it is optional.

The 93rd Oscars will take place on April 25, 2021.

So go vote for Trump, the most humane, most caring President of the US we've ever had.

Trump returns to comparing COVID to the flu: 'We have learned to live with it'

Yahoo News
Dylan Stableford
Oct 6th 2020 9:47AM

President Trump on Tuesday continued to downplay the threat of the coronavirus after his release from the hospital while still under treatment for COVID-19, asserting that the virus that has killed more than 210,000 Americans is "far less lethal" than the seasonal flu “in most populations.”

"Flu season is coming up! Many people every year, sometimes over 100,000, and despite the Vaccine, die from the Flu," Trump tweeted on Tuesday morning. "Are we going to close down our Country? No, we have learned to live with it, just like we are learning to live with Covid, in most populations far less lethal!!!"

Across the whole population, though, COVID-19 has been much deadlier. According to data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, the worst flu season in the last 10 years was 2017-2018, when an estimated 61,000 Americans died. In 2018-2019, there 34,000 U.S. deaths attributed to influenza. In 2019-2020, there were 22,000.

And comparative fatality figures don’t tell the whole story. There is increasing evidence that some number of coronavirus survivors have symptoms including fatigue, cough and cognitive problems that last for months, and organ damage that may be permanent. Those complications generally do not arise in people who recover from the flu.

On Monday night, the president returned to the White House after a 72-hour stay at Walter Reed Military Medical Hospital for coronavirus treatment. Since testing positive for COVID-19 late last week, Trump has received an experimental antibody cocktail along with the antiviral remdesivir and the anti-inflammatory steroid dexamethasone.

In announcing his pending departure from the hospital, Trump tweeted, “don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life.” He later posted a video to Twitter doubling down on that message, adding: “Now I’m better, and maybe I’m immune, I don’t know.” In reality, Trump likely remains contagious, and researchers have not yet concluded whether infection with coronavirus conveys lifelong immunity from re-infection.

As of Tuesday morning, at least 210,196 Americans have died from complications related to COVID-19, none of whom received near the same level of medical care that the president received at Walter Reed.

Trump has long sought to publicly downplay the severity of the coronavirus while privately acknowledging its threat.

In an interview with Bob Woodward on Feb. 7, Trump told the journalist that he knew the virus was “more deadly than even your strenuous flus.”

“You just breathe the air and that’s how it’s passed,” Trump said, adding: “This is deadly stuff.”

But in a tweet on March 9, the president expressed the opposite view.

“So last year 37,000 Americans died from the common Flu,” he tweeted. “It averages between 27,000 and 70,000 per year. Nothing is shut down, life & the economy go on. At this moment there are 546 confirmed cases of CoronaVirus, with 22 deaths. Think about that!”

This was an effort, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany explained after excerpts from Woodward’s book appeared, to avoid creating a “panic.”

McEnany disclosed on Monday that she, like more than a dozen other people who have been in contact with Trump over the last week and a half, has tested positive for the virus.

I suspect that major tent pole movie release dates are a better indication of current thinking of when the virus epidemic will disappear.

That is why I'm checking on how the release dates are changing.

Moving a release date for a major tent pole from 2021 to 2022 means what?
That the epidemic won't be gone anytime soon?
That movie production is going to be impacted even more than most politicians are lying about?

Granted politicians lie, but when can we expect the epidemic to end?
When we can go out in public without wearing masks?
When we can eat at a restaurant?
See a movie in a theater, without worrying that we might get sick and experience terrible pains, and maybe even die?

‘The Batman’ Delayed to 2022, ‘Matrix 4’ Release Moves Up

‘The Batman’ Delayed to 2022, ‘Matrix 4’ Release Moves Up
“The Batman” will no longer hit theaters in 2021. In another major release calendar overhaul, Warner Bros. has delayed the comic book adventure and a number of other movies, including “The Flash” and “Shazam 2.”

“The Batman” — starring Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader — had been scheduled for Oct. 1, 2021. It’s now set to open on March 4, 2022. As reported earlier on Monday, Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi epic “Dune” is no longer premiering on Dec. 18 and will instead move to the Oct. 1, 2021 date previously held by “The Batman.”

Other significant shifts include the Lana Wachowski-directed “Matrix 4” bowing several months earlier than expected. The upcoming sci-fi thriller — which sees the return of Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss — had been set to open on April 1, 2022 and is now debuting on Dec. 22, 2021.

The studio also plans to release two yet-to-be-announced films on June 3, 2022 and Aug. 5, 2022. In turn, “The Flash” starring Ezra Miller vacated

The good thing about the pushout is that, hopefully, the pandemic should be over by October 2021.
And that going to a movie theater should be safe by Oct 2021.

Other than that, this is just another sign that the virus will be with us for a much longer period than originally stated, then revised, then revised again and again.

Who do you trust?
The short answer: nobody.
Politicians are shielded by the law from false and misleading claims.

US death toll from the corona virus so far in 2020: 210K.

Way to go, Trump. You're doing a great job.
You criticized Obama for 12K deaths from the swine flu.
But Trump's numbers are much higher.
And he keeps saying what a wonderful job he did protecting the American people.

‘Dune’ Drifting Away From December To October 2021

05 October 2020 by Anthony D'Alessandro Deadline

‘Dune’ Drifting Away From December To October 2021
We’re hearing that Warner Bros. release of Legendary’s Dune is no longer going on Dec. 18, rather Oct. 1, 2021.

Many in distribution land always believed it was too good to be true for Warners to keep two major tentpoles –one a franchise starter, the other a franchise sequel– within days of each other, given P&A spend, especially with Wonder Woman 1984 still set for Christmas Day.

The news comes in the wake of Cineworld and Regal closing. Exhibitors were informed by the studio to push out Dune materials during Tenet‘s early September debut, which included a teaser trailer as well as the official trailer dropping for the Denis Villeneuve reboot of the Frank Herbert novel; the last version being in 1984, directed by David Lynch.

Villeneuve’s version of Dune stars Zendaya, Timothee Chalamet, Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista, Josh Brolin, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Stellan Skarsgard, Javier Bardem and Charlotte Rampling among many others.

I'm not a programmer.
But I think there are program languages that will work with other languages.
So there should be work-arounds, to change or fix the site coding.

That's a guess, but it seems that the site coding needs to be updated.

To make it more responsive to current needs.

If older code is broken, it should be fixed or replaced with a newer program language that is easier to work with.

The newest James Bond film has a delayed new release date, April 2021.
Although the film has been delayed, I've read that the corona virus pandemic is a hoax from China and the US Democratic Party.

Why should we have to wait to see the film at the local movie theater, if, as President Bonespurs has stated, the virus is really a hoax by the Chinese and the Democratic Party?
And why has our glorious President hidden himself away at Walter Reed Hospital, after stating numerous times that the virus is a hoax?

Also, why has President Bonespurs started wearing a mask, when he has stated a number of times, that wearing a mask is a voluntary decision, and that people don't really need masks?
Has our glorious president changed his mind about wearing a mask?

James Bond Film 'No Time To Die' Delays Release to April 2021 Amid Ongoing Pandemic

1:00 PM PDT 10/2/2020 by Pamela McClintock , Alex Ritman

The 25th title in the 007 franchise became the first Hollywood tentpole to become a casualty of the COVID-19 crisis when its original April 2020 release date was pushed back to November.

James Bond pic No Time To Die is delaying its November 2020 release to spring 2021 amid the challenges posed by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the filmmakers announced Friday.

Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, the 25th installment in the iconic spy franchise had been set to open Nov. 12 in the U.K. and Nov. 20 in the U.S. It will now open on April 2, 2021 in order to be seen by a worldwide theatrical audience.

MGM, Eon Productions and Universal had been intent on sticking to the November rollout but were finally forced to shift course because of continued challenges facing the box office, including cinema closures in certain top markets and re-closures in others.

Friday's announcement is another blow for cinema owners, who say they need new Hollywood tentpoles to ignite a recovery. However, as it stands now, the marquee will be noticeably lean in terms of all-audience event pics until Christmas when Wonder Woman 1984 opens.

Bond's move comes after fellow 2020 fall event pics Wonder Woman 1984 and Black Widow delayed their early October and early November releases, respectively. Black Widow was among a number of pics that Disney moved, although Pixar's Soul is still slotted for Nov. 20.

Earlier this year, No Time to Die became the first Hollywood tentpole to become a casualty of the COVID-19 crisis when its original April 2020 release date was pushed back to November.

The film — marking Daniel Craig’s final turn as 007 — also stars Bond returnees Lea Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes and Christoph Waltz, along with franchise newcomers Rami Malek, Ana de Armas and Lashana Lynch. Billie Eilish has recorded the title track.

MGM is handling No Time to Die domestically via United Artists Releasing, while Universal has international distribution duties.

"MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, today announced the release of No Time To Die, the 25th film in the James Bond series, will be delayed until 2 April in order to be seen by a worldwide theatrical audience. We understand the delay will be disappointing to our fans but we now look forward to sharing No Time To Die next year," a statement read.

Porn stars are people.
Some of the female porn stars do get pregnant.
And they can be filmed and photographed until giving birth, and afterwards, as well.

Actually, there are some sites that focus on pregnant women.
Or women lactating.

Not trying to be rude.
But just saying, that being pregnant does not stop all porn stars from working in the porn field.

Kay J (her name at MetArt) even has a site, http://www.pregnantkay.com/
that showed her pregnant modeling.
Kay J, a lovely model.
And even more lovely with her baby bump.

Take a look at Kay J's public page and tell me if you don't agree that is one fine-looking woman.

I'd say price is a major factor.
Along with quality and quantity of content.
Then other factors:
How easy is the site to use:
Ease of navigation.
Zip files for photosets.
Update rate.
Are logins and member pages secure (https).
Clear member pages, not cluttered with ads.
Excellent model listing.
Download speeds.
etc.
