I have met a few on-line and in-person. On-line is about what you would expect..pretty basic. In-person, it depends on the event. Best thing you can do with ANY pro anything when you meet them in person. NEVER TALK SHOP! That goes for porn stars, athletes, actors, anyone. OK, here's the deal. It isn't about having porn stars back as much as it is about having a wide and prolific variety of material when they are here and in their prime. The original Star Wars movies are still pretty good even though most of the actors are, in one way or another, long gone. That's because the media is still viable. A wonderful porn star or model is completely timeless as long as her work remains relevent and the media technology remains viable. I still stumble over material from some of my favorite models, but the really old stuff is often just too small to keep or watch. But anything in HD or larger images should be good for a long time. Do I want to see retired stars today? Not really. Do I want to see more material from when they were fucking amazing? Absolutely! A really smart porn star or model today should be negotiating to have some of their material put away for future use. That way, they can retire AND still publish!
As a trend, POV seems to have taken off and VR is gaining in popularity as the tech becomes more accessible. Personally, I think Hololens tech will be HUGE when it finally gets perfects. That is when your glasses allow you to see things in your room as though they/it/she is right there with you. Totally different from VR and much more practical.
This isn't really about the format but about the quality of the content. Some girls are pretty hard to watch in SD. Some are fucking goddesses in 4K or in VR. Higher resolution will ultimately mean better quality, better make-up and better hygiene.
I don't really follow the private lives of porn stars, but I have known a few dancers who went on to do porn. It is SUCH a messed up industry in the US, and so many of these girls are a little messed up when it comes to relationships, that if any porn star can be happily married, I am really happy for them. When you pick a tier, the monthly price is the only option. There is no quarterly rate, no annual rate and no lifetime rate. Although I suppose I understand the webmaster logic behind this, it is flawed from both a revenue and a cash-flow perspective. Like you, I am a VOLUME consumer. I have 5 or 6 annual memberships at various rates equal to, what, about 50-70% off the monthly rate. I would not be a member of those sites for 12 months at the regular rate under any circumstances. Instead, there are a dozen or more sites that I join for a month every one to two years to catch up on. This site, rather than getting $100-130 from me for a recurring annual membership, gets $30-40 from me (or maybe $70 for unrestricted downloads, another PITA) for a single month of a monthly membership every year or two. An annual membership would be one transaction, one servicer transaction fee, one account set-up, and cash up-front rather than once a month for month or two most members probably stick around. So now that my review of this site, which was originally one of my highest, has expired, I will eventually join again for a month and write another review. I'm sure the site is just as good, but the philosophy of the site revenue model and the way they treat subscribers has soured things somewhat.

I have been a member of that network several times and cancelling is not as easy as it should be.
Although it is sometimes very difficult to find the biller site, this is the best way to see what you have signed up for and what is active. I regularly go to ccbill, epoch and segpay to make sure that what I cancelled has actually been cancelled and to see what is active. (Unfortunately, although Epoch takes Paypal, there is no easy way to track your Paypal paid accounts on the Epoch site yet without a subscription number.) I hate to say it but sometimes it is hard to keep track of what I have signed up for and what I've cancelled so this is the easiest way for me.
I agree with you about softcore videos, but it often depends on the model. Girl-in-the-woods or girl-in-her-room videos tend to be pretty boring and contrived and waaaay too many models that look amazing in images lose all kinds of points when you see them move. I've seen some very good softcore where the model is clearly trying to turn the viewer on, but I didn't see any of that here. (Twisty's or the first videos in a set from In The Crack come to mind.) When you say France I think Anna AJ from Met Art who had several drool-worthy videos. There are a couple of other models on MA that are just nice to watch because they are graceful (Annett A, Lorena B., etc.) but that is about beauty, not arousal (well, ok watching a beautiful , reclining girl put her legs straight out to the side and over her head can be pretty arousing...). Depends on the quality of the material. I usually DL 1080 but sometimes 720. For VR, I download the 1920x1080 resolution as the larger ones (2300x1080) create really huge files and don't always work properly.
Well that really sucks. Not sure what happened but I've been a member of this site a couple of times and have never been scammed. I am also not at all sure how you got to Rocketgate/VXNBill because Epoch was their servicer for me. In fact, I just cancelled my account and got exactly the expected service from Epoch. Entered in account and email and the subscription popped right up. 30 seconds later, it was cancelled. BTW, Rocketgate is still servicing a lot of sites like the Met Art sites. I do see that vxnbill is associated with this group of sites but I've never used them. Again, sorry you had an issue.
OMG this is a pain in the ass. It has happened to me five or six times in the last year or so. I a couple of annuals and a couple of highly discounted monthly subscriptions (cheaper than annual), plus I rotate through most of their their sites once a year or so. Every time I sign up or cancel a site, my master account gets screwed up. For me, the problem is usually because they use different billers for different promotions. So two subscriptions are Epoch, two are rocketpay and one or two are ccbill. When they reset things, the different biller accounts don't synch up and logins fail. I had one account that continued to charge me for a couple of months before I realized that I wasn't actually cancelled like the site said. Of course, once I point all this out, they fix it within a day or two, but damn it is frustrating!

Whenever anyone in this community sees a discount on a site, they should let anyone who might be interested know about it. That's all I was doing. When this site first came out, it was $10 a month. Once it was established, it went to $20. Now it is $29 a month but there are specials to be found. I reviewed the site a while ago and just signed up again and thought I would share that it is $9.95 recurring at $9.95, which hasn't happened lately. If you don't like the site, then don't sign up. It is a good site but not a great one. For $9.95, anyone who is curious has got very little to lose. Now, if you think that is spam, you should look up the definition of spam because clearly it isn't what you think it is. If you don't want to try the site, that's fine. But don't knock me for wanting to let people know there is a good promotion running. It is thoughtless comments like yours that make people like me want to stop writing reviews and comments. OH! And just by Coincidence, I rejoined Vixen.com today on their black Friday $9.95 a month special. Great site and excellent videos but one of their MALE actors is COVERED with tattoos from shoulder to ankle, front to back including arms. OMFG that is SO distracting! Two different scenarios. Met Art and bad ass. Other than the occasional tiny tattoo on some porn models, I prefer not to see them. These girls are fucking beautiful. I like to watch POV and VR video and there are a few peeves. First, the guy should NEVER MAKE A SOUND.
