I enjoyed the review - very informative. I had no idea about the laws and customs in India regarding sex & porn. However, I did wonder why there was so little porn available shot in India.
Another negative for the site - they state you can preview videos, but when you click the play symbol, it simply takes you to the sign up page. But for 5 bucks, I suppose I'll join to get the 18 videos.

I'm with you on amazon. I spend a fortune with them and am a prime member in addition to prime fresh. Too bad they have bad (presidential) politics. But let's not go there. Jet has better prices on some items and carries some things that amazon doesn't. In my limited dealings with them, their delivery has been as fast if not faster than Amazon. The concept is basically the same though Jet carries only a fraction of the items that Amazon carries. Competition is a good thing.
As to how the bank allows duplicate authorizations - it's because they're for different amounts and the bank can't distinguish that it's a duplicate. Jet initially authorizes for the entire purchase. A day later, they authorize for individual purchases. For example, I purchased 3 items in my latest order. Immediately following placing the online order, they authorized the entire amount. The next day, they authorized each item separately. The bank told me that several of the authorizations were duplicates and they rejected them (I ordered 5 cases of water and apparently they tried to authorize each case separately).
I can't fault the bank - how are they supposed to know? Being a nut when it comes to these things, I called up Visa USA and asked for clarification about Visa's rules. Talk about bureaucracy! I got nowhere. I know I know, I'm an obsessive nut when it comes to these things. ;)

Not to digress.... coincidentally, I was just speaking with my bank about authorizations from jet.com - the company that aspires to be amazon.com. What a racket! It's my third time ordering from them and I keep forgetting about their ridiculous policy. They authorize all purchases twice thereby tying up available funds. The duplicate authorizations go away eventually, but that doesn't mitigate the hardship it may cause by having funds unavailable needlessly. When I questioned jet.com, I was told it was the way their system operates. Great answer! Calling my bank simply to find out if they're allowed to do this was an exercise in patience and I eventually hung up after being transferred around. I personally don't really care about the funds being unavailable - it's the principle. The experience was something out of Kafka. I don't know how they get away with it.

At the risk of needlessly prolonging this, I'd like to make it clear where I stand as well as others I assume.
The business model doesn't lend itself to recurring memberships. I know some members at PU don't feel the same as well as many of your customers. However, I don't get it. Nowadays, it is simple enough to download all the videos one wants in a month, three months at the most. New updates at most sites probably don't exceed 10 per month. Waving a carrot of 10 bonus videos is not sufficient to make me become a recurring member. I mean no offense and I do sympathize with your plight.
Having 10 new videos in the recurring month compared to possibly 100 or 500 at the onset doesn't make sense to continue membership until there are sufficient new uploads. I'm not going to become a recurring or loyal member simply so the business can maintain a profit margin. It would be like giving to charity.
Like I said, I know others will not agree and other people don't mind spending the monthly fee to get only a handful of new uploads monthly. If I'm missing something or not understanding, please let me know. Seriously.

I follow the same practice.... I cancel membership at all sites immediately after joining. It is rare that I need more than a month to download what I'm interested in. Why should I join for multiple months when I have what I want within a month? It doesn't make sense to me. I do not speak for all PU members, but given the way things are, I don't understand why anyone would want a recurring membership. That is, unless updates are frequent and abundant, which is rarely if ever the case. For those sites I enjoy, I will come back and rejoin after a period of time.
I understand that you're looking for loyalty in the way of recurring memberships. However, the present system doesn't support that type of loyalty, at least for me as well as many others.
Regardless, I think it's just bad business to offer something and then take it away.

My initial thought/hope was to see the network of sites get de-listed from PU. However, on second thought, I think it would be in the best interests of the PU community to leave it up with all the mind-boggling comments by the webmaster and the critical, though dated, reviews. De-listing the site would probably be in the site's best interests considering the reviews and comments, especially the comments. Let consumers make an informed decision of whether to join.

I am assuming I'm not misunderstanding but your response was not clear. It's $9.95 only if you join for a year. And this is with the 75% discount? If so, that would make the regular price $39.80/mo. when joining for 1 year, the same as cost for one month. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm just going by my limited experience and only with one site on the network, the Asian site. The videos aren't dated but I'm guessing from your comments that they're old. The latest ones, or at least the ones listed first, were 540p or less.
The quality comment was certainly subjective. One man's junk is another man's treasure.
But yeah, I did a trial on both sites, on Bang because of an inadvertent oversight on a cross-check, and there was no access to all sites on videosz. There are only 3 sites on Bang. It was the opposite on videosz although the names of the genres of the Bang sites were different.

I was looking all over for info about bang.com. I found out about it when the pre-cross check devils on Team Skeet hooked me into a trial. I guess I was looking for info in the wrong places.
I downloaded a few videos and was intrigued. I had no idea that they were affiliated with videosz until I was pointed to these comments. Bibo, I think it's the opposite of what you said - joining videosz gives one access to bang.com plus lots more. Joining bang.com only gives access to bang, though I could be mistaken.
Anyway, this site is not worth the bother for the simple reason the quality is mostly not up to snuff, at least the videos I encountered. Downloads were often only 540p or less. On the other hand, It's quite a weird site offering very diverse genres. Then again, I don't think the videos offered anything different than the other bazillion sites.

Tuk Tuk is a reality site shot in Thailand that focuses on street-pickups using tuk-tuks (instead of trikes as in Trike Patrol). However, the meetings are not always random and are pre-arranged.
Most of the girls are 18 to 25, some very beautiful and others average.
Tuk Tuk is very similar in concept and in other respects to the other VD sites that I have experienced, Asian Sex Diary and Trike Patrol. Crossover with actors, scenes that generally follow the same pattern, jerky camera work, blah blah. The three sites seem like one big site. This is okay by me since I love the concept, but I wish they would offer a package. Actually, the concept of Tuk Tuk is identical to Trike Patrol except it's the Thai version. Trike takes place in the Philippines.
Bottom line - if you like amateur Thais and reality videos featuring some many above average young women and you can overlook the drawbacks, the site is worth a month. The site is too small with updates too infrequent to justify more than a month periodically. |

Excellent review. I was rather surprised to see a pay-site review from a veteran, pleasantly so. Hot Movies was the first porn site I experienced, the first review I left on PU, albeit uninformative, and the subject of my first post in the forum. Memories.
I hadn't visited the site though for years. I traded in going to pay sites for downloads. Then I decided to go back and look at Hot Movies a week ago. Your review is a coincidence though it reaffirms my thoughts. I still had 10 minutes left on my account. I forgot how much exclusive and excellent contact it contains. I miss this site and am going to plunge into it again.
Ironically, another veteran member called me a shill after my first post where I mentioned this site (and another site). It was such an unkind welcome that if it weren't for graymane (where is he?!), I was gonna take my ball and go home. Glad I stayed.

My beefs with the site are largely, a) poor camera work and, b) streaming only. Frankly, I care more about the camera work. For these reasons, I find it hard to recommend the site despite everything else it's got going for it. For you true lovers of the genre, I would subscribe for a month. I have no regrets on joining for a month and may come back in a year.
The site doesn't seem to be aimed at purely porn lovers, but instead, for those who monger or dream about mongering and who also have an interest in Asian amateur porn - a rare genre, except for Japanese, but they're in a separate class.
I would normally not join a streaming site and I did so with much hesitation. I joined for several reasons. The content is unique and, to my knowledge, can’t be found anywhere else. Customer service is great. I like and trust the people that run the site. Questions are answered rapidly and enthusiastically. They seem to have a youthful enthusiasm for what they do. These are the same guys that own Trike Patrol, one of my favorite sites, although it’s not tied into any package deal.
Why is the site is unique? The Asian amateur genre seems to be rare and is among my favorites. The theme, so to speak, is simply one monger (John), traveling and fucking his way through Asia and beyond. How often do you see models from China, Israel (limited though) and Laos in their home locale? Videos are listed by location: Cambodia, Canada, China, Europe, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Israel, Laos, Philippines, Thailand, Tokyo, Singapore, Uganda, USA, Vietnam.
John concentrates on finding Asians in the non-Asian countries. Some locales have very few videos while the more popular monger locales like Thailand have a whole bunch. They advertise 670 hardcore videos. Some of the countries have sub-menus which separates the country by city. I like this but I would have also like to seen a menu for videos by type, i.e., 3somes, anal, etc, but not a big deal since it's mostly b/g.
The appearance of the women ranges from OK to gorgeous with a few that should have chosen another career. They are virtually all amateurs, many who appear to be innocent and naive and new to porn. However, many, if not most of them work in the sex industry, i.e., bar girls, prostitutes. John often charms these women into going to his hotel room. Of course, the lure of money is certainly the major priority.
I have little interest, but the site is also an educational tool. That is, it’s kind of a monger guide. There are extensive writings by John of each video as well as advice about virtually everything you want to know about mongering in a particular area. There’s even a menu containing various guides for mongering. In addition, many of the videos include an extensive introduction to the locale or woman, up to half the video. There are also non-porn videos showing the city and bars, etc.
My hopes and expectations were so high for these videos. However, I was mostly disappointed. Camera work is the #1 issue for me.
According to Rich from the site, the site has a widespread and enthusiastic viewer base. I don't doubt it. There’s even a section “Mongers Questions and Input.” I believe that the site has a place and is popular for what it is, and that is more or less a tutorial on mongering mixed with hot videos and photos. They don't seem to place a high priority on pleasing the porn, uh, purist.
The camera work. The videos are apparently shot by one guy, John. I'm guessing it's next to impossible for one guy to do everything. There are times the videos are simply unwatchable, particular low-light scenes where it’s too dark to see anything. At times, the camera seems to bounce around making one dizzy, much like an amateur home video. The sex scenes are too often tedious. I’m guessing there is a camera on a tripod and POV giving very few angles. John also uses pixelation to cover his face but it often covers much more, including the woman. There's an argument that can be made that it's more realistic when shot by one guy and sacrifices are necessary to maintain the truly amateur feel. It's too much of a sacrifice to me and all I can say is to each his own. Good camera work and good video quality rank very high in my book.
So it's a tossup. Would you prefer the gloss and homogenity of the major networks or the unique though amateurism of Asian Sex Diary? I’d like something in between, but YMMV.
[This should probably be listed as a con, but because I don't know enough about the industry, I'll leave it as a footnote. John insists on not using a condom except in rare circumstances. I have to think this is highly dangerous and taking advantage of the women. Hopefully, Rich will clear this up.] |

I sampled all the sites and I gotta say this is one of the weirdest networks I've seen. Give 'em 5 points for that. ;) However, the site is not really up my alley. I guess much like Cum Louder wasn't for me either.
Too much silicone, something I hate. Too many old women and I don't mean MILFs. Too many tatoos. Each site seems to be formulaic. Many of the same actors within each site.
On the plus side (for me), some of the women are very hot and the sex is very much hardcore.
Chicas Loca was the selling point for me and a real let down. Spanish and SE Asian amateurs are my favorites because of the innocence they portray. Not here though. The Spanish women are really hardcore.
I'm guessing all the scenes were shot in Western Europe, i.e., Germany, Spain, Italy and France. Normally that would be a big plus for me, that is, getting away from the even more formulaic San Fernando valley. While that is a plus, it's not quite my cup of snot.
I don't mean to take anything away from your excellent review, just a difference in taste.

** I would have felt better if you gave it 85. But I understand that this might cause some friction with the odd gods, haha.
** I don't think that having 2 levels of membership is necessarily a bad thing. However, they're not very upfront about explaining the difference between the two options. The $24.95 price is reasonable. Based on your review, I opted for that.
** On a similar note, the website has the fees in euros and it said 24.95 euros for the membership. I was charged 24.95USD. No complaints.
** Thanks for the tip on the CC processor. I intentionally used the wrong expiration date on my CC to join with Centrobill and I was immediately given the Epoch option.
** On a similar note, it is my practice to cancel my membership immediately on every site I join lest I forget. I rarely, if ever, want a recurring membership. I DL what I want in the first month and try to come back in a year or so to sites I enjoyed. Having said that, there was no way of canceling on the site itself, at least from what I could see. The only option was to write them through the site. However, thanks to Epoch, that was resolved quickly..
** If it wasn't for your review, I never would have joined. I couldn't find any description of the site on the home page or anywhere. This seems to be a common flaw in the industry.

Jimmy, thanks for the response and also for Rich's lengthy email to me. I am extremely happy to hear that better quality downloads are forthcoming. Buy YIKES, I wasted my time downloading a 100 or so low-quality videos. I wish Trike stated this somewhere or not activated downloading until this was done.
Rich states in his email the reason given for changing to streaming only was the truth, to protect the girls. The reason given to go back with downloads is that they realized that there was no way they could prevent piracy and their policy did no good in protecting the girls. I can buy that.
Bottom line, perhaps I was too harsh with some of my comments. I still believe that activating the downloads and advertising it before there were good quality downloads was a very bad idea, but they're a small mom & pop site and they should be given a little leeway.
If I am able to do so, I will amend the review once the higher quality downloads are available. Once the download quality is updated, my rating would be 90+ and I will come back for more.

I reviewed the site 2+ years ago. It was one of the first sites I reviewed and I was also inexperienced with porn sites. Now that I’m a little more savvy thanks to PU, I can shed a little more insight.
The premise - it’s about 2 or 3 Swedish (?) guys who travel the Philippines and film their sexual conquests. For the most part, they ride around in a Trike, which is something like a motorized tricycle, kinda like a motorcycle with 3 wheels and a backseat. They ride around looking for women to take back to their hotel. The women are amateurs - mostly young and pretty, though they’re bar girls or prostitutes. For the most part, most scenes seem realistic and unscripted. If this is not so, I would be surprised. Many of the women are very shy.
This is a refreshing change from most sites. Real women trying to get by. The Filipino culture is one to be admired. I visited the country twice and its people, especially the women, are its greatest asset.
The entire premise is fairly unique and one that I find very appealing. Scenes are mostly one on one hardcore, though there are some threesomes and a few anal scenes.
Last week I received an email from them announcing that downloads were back. As a result, I'm back after they went through a period of streaming only.
I would rejoin this site but it'll be a while. It doesn't seem that they update more than once every two weeks, though it's hard to tell since videos aren't dated. |
