Sucks, especially since you had a memembership. I figured this was very popular site. I doubt there were legal issues, especially with sites like facial abuse out there.
The site owner may have just gotten fed up and needed a break. I wouldn't be shocked though if he moved his content to a site like manyvids. Some mainstream sites are starting to do that. But I suspect he'll be back, he's sitting on a treasure trove of passive income if nothing else.

I realize now that the $5.00 30 day option is stream only. I didn't end up taking it.

I suspect you maybe overthinking things a bit.
If you are logged in from a previously active membership, all you need to do is hit the profile icon at the top right and select "logout".
I did this today to take advantage of a $5.00 30 day discount just earlier today.
Also pretty much any Fame Digital site gives you access to Adult Time and that has been the case for quite some time, especially after the Beta was completed.

Agree with everything, its a new take on an old scam. Sad thing is much of it is easily pirated. They appear to repackaging alot of it, and selling it on the DVD sites. From there the pirates just download and share it.

I doubt it, Gamma is pretty stable. They seem to be buying up properties (and partnering with others) to add content to Adult Time. If anything you'll just have access to a lot more content once it's done.

Thanks for the update.
Your a better man than me, as soon as they burned me I went the pirate route for scenes I wanted and was done with it. There is no indication of the streaming only tier anywhere on the signup page (as is the norm).
Also the site is run by MindGeek, the company behind Brazzers. All the newer sites they have started recently seem to have the same set up (see Family Sinner).

Good to know, I didn't realize they would try that. Though I will never purchase an upgrade for downloads. Especially if the site was deceptive about it.
At that point I'm pirating as I've done in the past.

Thanks for info. Though it appears the deceptive streaming-only stuff is not exclusive to the porn portal and more indicative of all the newer sites from Mind Geek. Regardless of how you join.

Yes, trans porn is traditionally marketed to straight men. It's how you get a trans site stuck in the middle of Reality Kings, Evil Angel etc.
Adult Time is great value, basically a 'Netflix of porn'. I'm somewhat skeptical if what they are doing will ultimately work long-term though. The fact that $9.95 discounts are popping up all over may not bode well.
It should also be mentioned that at least some of the secondary {non-Gamma) sites are not at all complete. For instance, the Jays POV channel is over six months behind the main site.

Your off on the Epoch thing. It triggers on the 2nd attempt, some sites are like that.
I still got burned though, purchased a discount subscription and it turned out to be streaming only. Nowhere before the purchase was that disclosed. I ended up cancelling straight away.

That is pretty strang since I joined a couple of sites earleir this month via Epoch and I only use Visa. It's Probably just this site that has an issue. Maybe they've decided they want the Visa payments for themselve.

You could have just used work around i mentioned around a couple years ago.
Just enter the wrong cc expiration (a future date), and it will take you to Epoch (the secondary biller) You may have to do it twice to trigger.
I've done it before (a while back) with RK and still it often with Brazzers.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm honestly suprised they are still around with all the iterations theyv'e gone through. I was mildly interested a few years back until I saw how few sites were updating for the price (and a small catalog to begin with).
It seems they discard customers like they discard sites.

I still don't understand why they decided to go with a different pricing model than even Brazzers, who who owns them. You can get Brazzers for 9.99 practically anywhwere and it includes downloads. They are the only MindGeek site that prices like this that i'm aware of.

I typically always go to the actual biller to cancel when possible. Still does not excuse the behavior.
I got burned by them on that $60 up-sell though, which is probably worse depending on how much you were over-billed. They don't even have a warning for that thing, you get charged as soon as you click.

I joined Devils Film for $9.95 through Idealgasm.
https://www.idealgasm.com/deal/devilsfil...0day-pass-just-995-2
However, my list of network seems to not be quite as expansive as Mbya's (based on him getting Evil Angel as well as all the sites he listed in the forum thread he started).
I think they might be toying with different levels of access, as well as possibly randomly selecting customers (so they can still have a control group of customers with just individual site access to compare against). Just a theory, but the welcome page did mention something about me being "selected".

rearadmiral based on the info i got after joining Devils film this is basically in an experimental/beta testing phase right now. I had absolutely no idea I was getting access to all these other networks until after I paid (for Devils film only).
My guess is they are market testing this to see if a Netflix style model (complete with "Adult Time original content") will keep members of these individual sites from cancelling.
If it doesn't work they can pull the plug at any time, and customers won't be able to complain because all they committed to giving you was the individual site you joined (in my case Devils film).
