I agree with RA. I've found some of my fave's from the good old days and am happy to reward the sites with long running memberships. My rationale is that my porn site budget is a whole lot cheaper than the 1980's and 1990's when porn magazines with action carried a $15-$20 price tag and the Pussycat Theaters hit you with $10 admissions. This was in 1980 and 1990 dollars.

Not now. The technology is moving way too fast (8k, VR, etc.) which means a lot of capital investment without a guaranteed return. Yes, the big guys who began their enterprises when it was a whole lot simpler had a subscriber base that they had to satisfy and could do so with incremental acquisition of the hardware. (Servers aren't cheap and keeping them functioning smoothly requires high priced talent.
