It definitely looks like a crappy site, but if there is even one positive (you mentioned a number of pictures) does it really deserve the worse possible score? Another way to put it is this: Can you imagine no site being worse than this one? If not, then I guess a 50 is about right. :)

That's usually what I end up doing too, but I wish I could keep up with a site because I do like the interaction. Just getting photos and vids without real contact to the girl can be a turn off, although not in all cases. :) I imagine it's because people join, download everything, and then quit the site. I'm guilty of that myself, but it can suck the big one (no, not THAT one...the other one!) LOL

I honestly hadn't thought of that, but I think you are definitely correct. I do remember reading that all the boy/girl scenes were existing couples, which follows with what you said. It's a shame, but understandable. Thanks for replying!

This is a hard one because I don't think either can be done simply. I've spoken out here against people giving perfect reviews with very little information. However, how can you determine if it's biased or just a completely satisfied member. Sometimes it will be obvious, but other times not so much. I think a third option is needed, although admittedly I don't know what it would be.

I signed up with this site because it was inexpensive, looked very different than anything else out there, and I find newscasters who DON'T take off their clothes hot. So, a site that had girls in business suits taking their clothes OFF would be awesome! I stayed a member for quite awhile, only canceling recently due more to money issues than a lack of satisfaction with the site.
One thing that really surprised me about the site was that you actually get the news and the girls are very good at delivering stories while they strip. I doubt Tom Brokaw could do it and even if he could we wouldn't want to see it! It would be easy to do this kind of site half-assed, but the on air talent take it quite seriously and you can actually learn something while...you know. :)
While I have enjoyed the site, I can definitely see why others would hate it. The format of the broadcast hasn't changed much at all over time and if you like variety in your porn this just won't cut it. There isn't any personal interaction and absolutely NO hardcore content to be found.
Bottom line: If you like to keep updated on news, enjoy a stable "lineup" of models, and are a business suit/lingerie fetishist you will love this site and its low price. If you are into hardcore, enjoy a variety of themes and models, and want a personal touch you would be well advised to look elsewhere. If you are at all curious after reading this review I recommend giving it a try and it will only set you back 10 bucks. |

I do tend to forget, so I was tempted to choose that option. However, the real issue is that most sites make it too expensive to stay a member for very long. Even on sites I like I have to cancel and then come back, usually having to pay the larger first month fee! You just can't win!

Are you saying there's not one thing about this site that could be improved? I think that's what you'd have to be saying to give a site a perfect score and I've never seen a website that couldn't be improved. So I'm skeptical, but would like to hear more of your thoughts.

I'm loving Porn Users overall, but one thing that drives me crazy is people giving a site a bad review or comment because they don't like the type of content. From the way the original comment was written, I don't think this person would ever join a BBW site and, as a result, the comment about CK's is meaningless. If you don't like BBW, don't say the site sucks because you don't like BBWs. I hate sites that feature "golden showers", but I wouldn't comment on one because that wouldn't help anybody that does! I think the lesson is, if you make a comment be smart about it and don't post stuff that's just mean. And yes, you are crazy. ;)

My main point had been that neither of the reviewers mentioned there were any tattooed models on your site and I think even you would agree it is a major feature that should be mentioned in a review. However, I'm glad you replied and let us know what the site is about. I'll definitely check your site out in more detail!

One reason for the lack of updates is probably because Crissy left the porn business last October and is currently trying to get websites such as this one taken down. Sorry to break that to you if you didn't know, but I would think this means the site will only decline unless she changes her mind.

Ok, will do! In retrospect it might have seemed like I was saying you didn't respond personally to comments, which I wasn't saying at all. I just figured you might be dealing with countless requests with the site being so new. For example, a guy that likes women with a pirate hook on their left hand and an artificial right leg who has sex only with bald men who have hairy backs and is asking why the heck PU or TBP doesn't represent his fetish. ;) And if anyone really does have that fetish, my sincere apologies! :)

That's true, but as I said in my review, I like it because I don't have to pay for a mega site that has every conceivable clip. Problem is, I'd never watch 90% of the stuff they offer because it's not my thing. For example, I love downloading clips of Alyssa Milano (sorry, had a thing for her since Who's the Boss), but don't want to pay for a site that has tons of Paris Hilton clips I wouldn't even poke with a stick, let alone watch. Both sides definitely have pluses and minuses, but I agree that a third option would be great.

Thanks for the compliment and I'm glad to do it. I've always gotten frustrated with review sites because, although they do great things, it's hard to find views that represent different types of users. So, when PU came along and I was already a big fan of TBP, I had to do it! :)
By the way, if we ever have a question or want to make a suggestion where we feel we'll get a real response from an admin, what's the best way to do that? I imagine you are getting a lot of "suggestions" flooding in like adding sites and users demanding their favorite niche be addressed, but as the site settles in I know I'll have questions about how to find different content. Maybe in the end that's not what PU is for and I know you guys already go above and beyond, but it often comes to mind and I'm naturally curious.
If you have any thoughts on that, let me know. Otherwise, I'll assume you are busy finding more good porn!

I signed up for the trial and although I did cancel after the 3 days, I was able to download a TON of content with minimal effort and was very pleased. The site is VERY bare bones without frills, but that's not necessarily a bad thing since it is also straightforward and easy to use.
The videos are cut into segments which is easier for dial up users, but makes downloading for high speed a bit of a pain. There aren't any pictures and only one vidcap per set, and nothing about the girls themselves. One drawback is that the girls don't speak english and the setup for each scene is a bit campy. In one video they are trying to create the idea of a dressing room at a salon when it's clearly just a room in a big house they rented with a curtain hung at one end.
Despite the setup, however, I found many of the scenes very erotic and the majority of the girls to be sexy. I find women in their 30s and 40s with imperfect bodies to be very sexy as long as they know how to use them, which these girls do. Some videos are much shorter than 25 minutes which is noted on the TBP review, but as you look through the site you'll see that the same two girls have multiple videos together with different setups and roles.
Bottom Line: If you are only into big breasts, blondes, and tight bodies then this site is not for you. However, if you want a lot of downloadable content without DRM and the idea of young and older lesbians together gets you going, I would definitely recommend the site |

This site has been around for years, which results in a number of positives but also some definite negatives. Since they don't have a monthly fee, you can scan the site to find what you are looking for, buy credits, and download only what you want. With other celeb sites you might stay a member for awhile, but would eventually cancel because there's nothing new. The library of clips is huge and they provide large vidcaps so you know what the quality is before you buy.
On the negative side, the site has been around for years without much of a redesign to keep things fresh. They have added some search features in the last year, but it is still very limited and other celeb sites offer many more options. You also have to be careful not to get too carried away because you can run out of credits fast.
Overall, I've always been pleased with the content I've bought from them. Despite the other glitzy sites that are out there, I always come back because I know what I'm getting and I don't have to pay for stuff I couldn't care less about.
Bottom Line: If you have a few celebrities that make you drool and want just their clips, this site is for you. However, if you spend more than an hour a day watching the E! Network, you'd probably be better off somewhere else. |
