Glad you found a network that has some content to your liking, even with the negative aspects.
Also glad you were able to get a discounted price through Amour Babes, and pointed that out for anyone else wanting to join the network.
There are some Eastern European teens at the network that are found at a lot of other porn networks/sites. But it seems like there are too many problems for the network to interest me.
Lately, I've been so spoiled by wanting my porn sites to be well designed, easy to use, with lots of good to great content.
At one time, I could search for hours through a lot of poor or just-OK material, hoping to find the good stuff. But not anymore. Now I want the good stuff on easy display. I just don't have the patience any more that I used to have.
When you write that: "First night of membership, most of the sites didn't load so any type of viewing or downloading was impossible."
I would have been so turned off by that experience, I would have tried getting a refund.

I have a 3 TB external that is mostly empty.
And I just got another new 3 TB external a few days ago.
Why do I need so much space? Because I really need to organize my files, and that's such a daunting task, it's easier to buy new drives and stick my porn on them.

Maybe it's a cookie that's causing me to see a different price.
After I read your note, I clicked on the PU link to Metart, clicked on the join page, and signed up to Metart for $14.99 for 30 days.
I also accepted their special offer to join Erotic Beauty for $12.50/month.
I'll try to clear out my cache/cookies later, to see if I can get the $19.99/month price for Metart.
But at the moment, I'm all joined up. More than joined up, because I still have subscriptions to other sites as well.

I've joined some special sites for 3 months or longer. Met-art was the first one I joined for a year's membership, but Met-art is special, probably the best softcore teen site, with massive updates, fine photography, massive amounts of gorgeous teen models, easy to use site design, etc.

I'm still a member of the Diesel network with access to all their sites (excluding Wow Girls).
Normally, I'm more into pix than vids.
But some sites and networks emphasize vids over pix. And that's my take on Diesel.
The pix have improved quite a bit in the last few years at Diesel. But the vids are the main reason to join this network.
The vids and the incredibly cute teens they feature.
I agree the photosets could be improved. Especially where they waste a lot of time on pussy closeups. Maybe that's due to popular demand, or what they think is popular demand.
But like I say, I join Diesel for the vids. For pix, there are much better sites. Except there are a number of photosets of models that are worth viewing, and keeping, as well. Because the models are gorgeous.

I lurked the site for over a year before I actually joined. Not sure why I didn't join immediately, but I've joined so many different sites, and then hardly ever visited any of them. But PU was different. Like other PU members have said, the PU community is basically welcoming, friendly, helpful, the site has great information on porn sites along with the discounts, and the staff is friendly and helpful if you have any questions or problems.
So that's why I finally joined and stuck around.
But as RagingBuddhist points out, with 8,000 registered users, less than 10% are actively involved (that's different from being an active member: I believe PU counts all members who joined as active, unless they have deactivated their account or been delisted for some reason).
But as the poll question is stated, "How many new PU members stay for over one year?", I would guess the answer is less than 80%. Because once they have signed up, they are considered active, until they de-activate their account, or are delisted by PU staff. And most of the members don't bother to de-activate their account, even when they no longer contribute.
But it would be interesting if the staff would give some figures on how many members do de-activate their account.
But I don't know if they would do that, or if they considered that proprietary or confidential information.
