I'm sorry the site was disappointing for you, but glad you're able to explore new sites that might be worthwhile joins.
So you took one for the home team, which is always a good thing
(always better when it's someone else who spends their money on a disappointing site, most people agree).
Sites like Blacked, Tushy and Vixen are valuable when they have enough content to be worth joining, because of the excellent visuals, lovely models.
But the thrill seems to wear off after a while.
Maybe it's part of human nature to want fresh content, and the Mad Cheddar sites just seem to lose their appeal after a short while.
Or maybe I'm just getting older, and most porn is not as astounding or potent as it used to be.
Adult Time impresses me because of the massive amount of content (over 50,000 videos, in a wide variety of niches), and the quality at many of the sites is excellent.
That, combined with a low price (I love holiday discounts) makes a winning combination.
But the best site in the network, for me, is the Pure Taboo site, which I enjoy because some of the videos are like short porn movies from the 1970s, with a dirty plot and some lovely models.
I've done extensive background checks on suspicious PU members.
rearadmiral and Shen (the supervillain better known as brainiac, the green-skinned creature with computer cables coming out of his head, who sold his soul to the Darkside for help in writing PU reviews), and MrBison, the newest entry at PU for writing suspiciously outstanding reviews, are all characters I've sent files on to the FBI (proud investigators of Brett Kavanaugh, Trump's drinking buddy on the US Supreme Court.
There's a reason why the PU site and community has been hit with demonized gremlins.
And the PU staff is aware of this.
My unbiased recommendation for the Memorial holiday sale is Adult Time, which I've seen advertised for $7.50/month, although there might be even better prices around.H
Has the PU staff done any thinking on the award for best review of the month yet?
In past reviews, I was thoroughly impressed with Shen and MrBison, both relative newbies at PU who have submitted outstanding site reviews.
REVIEW(CONTINUED):
-The massive improvement in the site navigation, quality of the content (money spent on nice-looking sets, photograph and video equipment to film the content in excellent lighting and professional technical standards).
-The attitude of the models: they are there to explore their sexuality: so the sex is hardcore, but without cruelty: teenage girls getting their rocks off, by themselves (masturbation), with one or more other girls (lesbian), one girl and one or more guys, whatever. These girls are up for anything, and I wish I had a few of them in my home.
I would die happy, because I couldn't possibly keep up with these sex-crazed teens.
Or maybe I should admit that these attractive teens have a healthy appetite for sex that far exceeds my body's capacity.
The Best Porn reviewers sometimes get facts wrong.
Or miss things.
I depend on the PU reviews much more.
PU reviews can be excellent, or not so good.
I agree that a simple alphabetical search of models is usually the best approach.
But with Mega-sites like Femjoy, that takes a lot of time and effort.
I'm getting old, and no longer have the patience to search mega-site model listings.
There is a work-around to your problem.
Go to the URL
http://old.femjoy.com/index/models#/?layout=list&category=top-voted&shaved=1
This is one of the public pages of Femjoy (not the member's area).
This page loads a model index with apparently the full femjoy model listing in alphabetical order.
Some models are missing a thumbnail to show you what the model looks like.
You can search by the model's name, under her letter
Click on a model's name, it brings up a nice-sized thumbnail of the model.
Most of the models have thumbnails for at least some of their sets.
So then you have to log in to the site, to search for her sets (photo + video), that you want to access.
Hope this helps.
Happy clicking. Because you will need patience and clicks to scroll through the pages.
LOL.
AT&T screwed me on charges to my account.
Before and during the signup process with AT&T, the ATT customer rep told me that AT&T would waive the $99 installation fee.
That same salesperson also told me that AT&T no longer has contracts (in response to customer desires).
However, when I cancelled my AT&T accounts, I found that I could not depend on what the AT&T rep told me when I signed up.
AT&T told me I would have to pay a penalty of $125 for early cancellation.
I told them I was told by the AT&T salesperson that AT&T no longer had contracts.
I spoke to several AT&T reps, and they all told me I would have to pay the $125 penalty, and that either I was confused, or did not properly understand the salesperson when I signed. (AT&T does not have a contract for cell phone service, but does have a contract for the internet service.)
Also, I was charged $99 for installation of internet service, even though the salesperson I signed up with told me the fee would be waived.
One AT&T rep later told me the salesperson made a mistake about the $99 installation fee waiver.
A different AT&T rep did not say the initial rep did not make a mistake, but said they were definitely charging me for the $99 install fee.
Sorry for the details on how I got screwed by AT&T.
But I'm pointing out that you can't depend on what customer service says, or what a salesperson says, even from a company as big as AT&T.
At the AT&T signup, I asked for copies of what I agreed to, the sales person talked to a manager, and she said AT&T does not give out copies of what I signed for.
I was signing on an electronic device, that accepted my signature, but did not give me a copy of what I signed for.
And the salesperson said the office would keep a record of what I signed for, and that it would show the $99 install fee would be waived.
Except when I cancelled my AT&T contract, the salesperson I spoke with said the copies of what I signed for were no longer at the office I signed at.
So it was my word of what I was told, versus AT&T policy, and AT&T can't take my word over AT&T policy.
So I now think AT&T has the morals of a used car salesman.
End of rant.
But useful in knowing that you can't take the verbal word of a sales clerk or a sales person.
It has to be in writing.
And you need to get a copy.
And if you don't get a copy, you are signing at your own risk.
Great review.
Your first review of Ersties was excellent.
This one was even better.
(Or maybe I like "A Girl Knows" site better?)
You're almost as good as Shen, who writes the best reviews of any current PU member.
If the PU staff gives out best review site awards (which was proposed a while back, but now seems forgotten), Shen should be the first place winner, with you coming in a close second.
Summary of Pretty Dirty on this page from TBP is not accurate.
The Best Porn summary of Pretty Dirty states:
No longer updating.
No bonus sites.
Since Pretty Dirty has been folded into the Pure Taboo site, you get the Pure Taboo site updates, which are similar in style to the Pretty Dirty content.
Also, Pretty Dirty and Pure Taboo have been folded into the Adult Time network, so you get over 100 bonus sites from the Adult Time access.
REVIEW(CONTINUED):
BOTTOM LINE(CONTINUED):
In my opinion, the Pure Taboo site is one of the premier sites for twisted-desire porn.
The stable of models is outstanding. Quoting from a PU review I did on 04-09-19 on the Pure Taboo site:
"Excellent, high grade visuals. An artistic use of darkness and a gritty feel to the videos that emphasizes the darkness of the plot."
I'm giving the Pretty Dirty site a score of 94: that is because you should get free access to the Adult Time network.
If you don't get access to the Adult Time network, because of some screw-up, the score would drop significantly.
Note: In the latest update to the Devils Film public site, they make it very clear that Devils Film is now part of the Adult Time network; and that membership in Devils Film gives you access to the Adult Time network, and vice versa.
Whereas, as I explained earlier, I've been a long-time member of Devils Film, and I should have been given access to Adult Time a long time ago, but I was not given access until late 2018, when I joined 21 Sextury (another site in the Adult Time network).
So screw-ups can happen.
Excellent review, as usual.
Like a well-packed sandwich.
Some of your reviews are more interesting than the sites you review.
LOL.
(Not a criticism, more like a complement, I hope.)
As I wrote in my review, I think Web Young is a good site.
But the owners/manager of the Adult Time network need to make it clear on their individual websites whether you are getting the Adult Time network for free with a membership.
Because I would feel cheated, or at least disappointed, if I joined one of their network sites, and did not get free access to the Adult Time network.
But I'm glad you got Adult Time for free with your Web Young membership.
There is a huge amount of sites and content to explore with Adult Time.
And you should be able to find a lot of content that you enjoy, if you take the time to explore what is available.
I got an email advertising a lifetime membership to Playboy Plus for $99.99. Got the email a few hours ago.
I click on the email, and a page pops up offering me a lifetime membership to Playboy Plus for $149.95.
But I've also read that many memberships are streaming only.
If you want downloading privileges, you need to pay $10/month extra.
If you want to watch HD, I think that's included in the extra $10/month.
I joined the site a few years ago, and was disappointed in the quality of the photos. And it seemed the site didn't even have full sets of their former playmate centerfolds.
I didn't think the site was worth joining then.
And I doubt the site is worth joining now.
But I think you're right. The site was designed "to feed my curiosity - but not my libido."
Which is why I said that the erotic scenes lack impact.
What was erotic in the movie, is now a snippet of naked flesh that has lost the eroticism that made it meaningful.
Excellent bottom line summary:
"The site is what it is. You get a well run inexpensive site but not one to sign up for to get off. If you are just curious to see the stars, you may find it interesting. On the other hand, if you are a fan of a particular star, you probably already saw the scenes that are here. Now you can own that 20 second clip."
That was my main knock against the site: the clips which feature nudity lose the impact of the scene or nudity because they are so short, without the setup that the movie or other source provides.
Also, many of the scenes seem to be low definition, and have lost the crispness of the original source material. So for porn, that loses a lot of impact, as well.
What I found out from personal experience.
I signed up through Rocket Pay (I'm not using the official name, I'm not bothering to check at the moment) to some MetArt satellite site years ago.
Then, a few months ago, I did once of the 2-day free trials for a different MetArt site.
The default biller was RocketGate.
And I didn't have to give any credit card information.
RocketGate had kept my credit card information on file over the years, from the MetArt site I signed up with years ago.
So RocketGate might have the credit card information you gave them, from years ago, if you signed up to any site using RocketGate as the biller.
I don't know if CCBill and Epoch are the same.
If they keep your credit card information once you give it to them, or if it's only kept for active porn memberships.
But the system RocketGate uses, I suspect, once you use a credit card to pay for a subscription, they might keep the credit card data on file. And I don't know how you would check if they have it on file.
Or whether you can ask them to delete it, if it is on file.
I mean, you can ask RocketGate to delete your credit card information, but legally, they might have the right to keep it anyway.
Thanks for the information.
I haven't been keeping up with what is being offered lately.
But Comcast is not available in my area.
(I live in Los Angeles County, norther part of the county.)
Spectrum and AT&T are the basic choices for internet service in my area.
I used to be with Spectrum, but currently with AT&T.
But I'm probably going to switch back to Spectrum.
Because, for me, my ATT contract is for 75 Mbps.
But I use the Wi-Fi for my laptop.
And the Wi-Fi speed often drops to less than 1 Mbps, which is lousy.
With a 100 Mbps connection at Spectrum, my Wi-Fi speeds ranged from 8Mbps to about 22 Mbps, so that's why I switched to ATT.
Which I thought would be faster.
But there is some wiring problem with my house, which the installation tech mentioned.
And that's why my Wi-Fi speeds average less than 1 Mbps to maybe 5+ Mbps, which is lousy. Since I'm paying for a 75 Mbps connection speed.
Thanks for the info.
I will drop by my local Spectrum office to see what the plans and pricing are.
On the internet, Spectrum says 100 Mbps is what they offer.
But will check at the local office, for better information.
But great that you mentioned what is available in your area.
I've read that Spectrum is rolling out faster internet connections, but I don't know specifically if they are offering it in my area, and what the charges would be.
The basic offering is 100 Mbps, no data cap. For $45/month.
Which is not bad.
But 1GB seems like Zoom-Zoom to me.
WTF?
1GB connection?
I live in LA county (CA), and the fastest speed from Spectrum is 100 Mbps. (I think).
I need to call around to see what's available.
I've never used a payment processor to initiate a sub with a porn paysite.
I've used RocketGate in the past.
Some of the sites in the MetArt network use RocketGate, so I assume they are a reputable biller.
I've used RocketGate for years, for 1 or 2 subs. Never had a problem.
So I suggest unticking the pre-checked cross-sale, and sign with RocketGate.
As far as pre-checked cross-sales, almost every porn site I've joined had a pre-checked cross-sale on the join page.
I think I've only found one porn site that did not have a pre-checked cross-sale on the join page: that's one site out of maybe 100 different sites I've joined.
But this is a holiday season (Easter). I suggest looking for a site that is running a holiday discount. There are many that are discounting their regular price. 50 to 75 % off is a great deal.
AdultTime.com is running a special where you get 7 days free, streaming only. Check it out, then if you like the site, cancel the free membership, and join for a discounted price. During the holidays, they often have specials for about $65/year, or $10/month (the $10 might be only for the first month).
Adult Time is a huge network, one of my favorites: low price, quality videos and photos, wide variety of niches.
I've been dinged a few times by billers when I didn't find a pre-checked cross-sale, but never had the persistence to get them to reverse the charge. But it was always small change, 2 or 3 dollars.
But I'm glad you're sticking up for the rest of us.
Hegre (and a lot of other sites) running discounts for holidays.
A lot of fine (and not so fine) porn sites are running special discounts for the holidays. I guess the Easter spirit has made them reach out in brotherly love to porn addicts.
Hegre, MetArt, the list goes on. A lot of fine sites offering low membership prices right now.
