I haven't rejoined femjoy.
But if you send an email to their support, they might give you a few free days of membership in compensation.
I've seen that happen at some other sites when a member has problems accessing a site.
And their tech support might be able to help with the connection problem. Or not.
Even good sites seem to have problems every once in awhile.
Cancel your membership and get a refund.
That's my suggestion.
I've never had your problem, and have mainly been satisfied with the site.
But there's no sense paying for a membership that gives more problems than satisfaction.
The least they should do is give you free days of membership to compensate for your lost days of site access.
Drooler, I'm not an expert on Chrome, since I just bought my first Chromebook a few days ago, and I am still learning how to use it.
But if you have a lot of Microsoft office documents that you use, you can use Microsoft Office Web Apps, for compability with your existing office documents. It's free for individuals, but not for businesses.
Otherwise, if you have no previous Microsoft office documents that you have to deal with, you can use the other free apps for Chrome.
Since Microsoft is giving the Microsoft Office Web Apps away for free, to hold onto their customer base (even those that are using Chrome), I would guess that there shouldn't be a lot of problems with using your older Microsoft Office documents with a Chromebook.
That's only a guess. Because personal experinence is the deal breaker.
I couldn't stand Win 8.1, because Win 7 was so much easier to use (after migrating from Win XP, which I really liked).
But some people are technically mobile, and maybe they even appreciate the new Win 8 OS.
But so far, at least, I really like the Chromebook. And it's so fucking cheap. And fast. And you don't have to worry about viruses, and software updates, etc. The software updates automatically, when you're connected to the web. But my desktop Win 7 has to shut down for updates, and then restart, and I'm always running virus scans, and the Chromebook just seems to be so much easier to use and problem free. At least so far.
I don't like the keyboard on the Chromebook, or the touchpad, so I added a wireless keyboard and mouse to the Chromebook.
That was easy to do, and only cost $40 for the Logitech Wireless Wave Combo Mk550 With Keyboard and Laser Mouse from Amazon.
So I'm good to go, as I learn to use the Chromebook.
I got a chromebook yesterday. The price was $250.
That was with a 32 GB SSD.
If I had gotten it with a 16 GB SSD, the price would have been $200.
Dirt cheap.
The chromebook has a mousepad, and a keyboard.
Not as nice as my desktop, but for $250, what do you expect.
This is an amazing PC.
It turns on in less than 10 seconds.
Shuts off in less than 5 seconds.
Don't have to worry about viruses, updates, whatever.
Will have to learn to use it.
But this is the PC for the next few years.
Cheap, easy to use.
I set up the chromebook in 10 minutes or less.
So much simpler than a regular desktop or notebook.
Don't have to worry about Microsoft software, updates, etc.
Tiny little thing.
Weighs less than 3 pounds.
A desktop or notebook can be useful, but for the price, convenience, ease of use, the chromebook is wonderful.
PS: I bought an HP notebook a few weeks back, with Win 8.1, for about $1,000.
Couldn't stand Win 8.1.
Finally returned the notebook.
I am so much happier with the chromebook.
Not only it so much less expensive, but it's also so much easier to use, and faster to use. Turns on in less than 10 seconds, turns off in less than 5-7 seconds.
If the notebook I bought had Windows 7, I would have kept it. But I couldn't stand Windows 8.1.
Glad for the warning, and also glad that you are able to take this so calmly.
I would be screaming my lungs out that I had been tricked.
Which would not be that good for me, at my age. Lol.
Thanks again for the warning.
This was a new one, for me.
Except that I was charged twice on my cell phone, for ring-tones, that I never ordered or agreed to buy.
My cell phone carrier representative told me I had probably opened a text message from some company, and that automatically gave the company the right to charge me for a service.
The reason I was charged twice (about $15 for each time), was that as soon as I noticed the charge on my monthly bill, I called my cell phone carrier to complain, they placed a block on the account, but somehow, I was still charged a second time by the *(^%$ ring-tone company.
I called the ring-tone company that charged me, they said they would give me a refund: it took about 4 months for me to get a refund, of $15 (they had charged me $15 twice, for a total of $30).
I gave up trying to get the rest of my money back.
But scams, thieves, whatever, are alive and well out there.
Even big-name corporations like to play games.
Sometimes they even get caught, and are forced to pay a fine.
But in the past, any fine they paid was small compared to the money they probably made from cheating their customers.
I've encountered the same lack of security a few times.
When I went to sign up for some site, and when I went to cancel some site, the sites asked for credit card information, email, real name, etc.
So I never entered that information.
But unfortunately, I am now getting spam emails with my real name in the heading, for porn and other spam offers, at my main email address.
I don't want to close my main email address, because it would take a lot of time and effort to have a different email address at sites I communicate with.
But it's a real hassle. Deleting all the spam I constantly get. I suspect that one of the porn sites I joined sold my real name and email address to spammers, and they sold the information to other spammers.
You have to be careful when signing up for some sites that have pre-checked boxes that will sign you up to a trial membership to a different site, as well as the site you want to join.
TBP normally points out the sites that have this pre-checked membership issue on their review page.
Once they bill you for the trial membership, it's hard as heck to cancel the trial membership without paying for the trial.
However, you can cancel the trial membership before the trial expires. If you don't, you will pay an inflated price for the new membership to the site you didn't want, because the trial converts to a "full" one month recurring membership. At a higher price than you would normally pay.
I don't know how you can get your money back.
If you signed up with a credit card, you can call the credit card comp;any and say that you were charged in error for a service you did not want. That might get you back the money for the 1st month of the over-priced membership of the site you didn't want to join.
The Rocco Siffredi site is not a rip-off site, but the pre-checked box is a problem.
I got dinged one time when I signed up to this site. So I had to pay the trial membership fee. I don't remember if it was $2 or $3. But I cancelled the trial membership early, and was not charged for the renewal into a 1-month membership.
Are you planning on writing a site review?
I'm curious how many of the videos at this site are also shown at Teen Mega World.
Also, would like to know general site details about navigation, model index, etc.
I assume it's just a temp error you can't log in. Because I don't remember any site I've joined that cut my access before the subscription expired, except for one that was having financial problems, that I never re-joined, or a different site that cut my access because they said I went over their daily download limit.
Blocking access to a site you paid for, that's goddamn irritating.
Call meta billing, tell them you cancelled and are still being billed.
If that doesn't work, call your credit card company and tell them you are being billed after you already cancelled. That any charges from that site are fraudulent. If need be, cancel your old credit card account, and the credit card company should give you a new account number, without any charges to you for the new account.
Very useful review. I have been a member of this site several times in the past, haven't belonged for about 6 months.
Sad to hear that the quality has dropped so much.
This site used to be one of my favorite glamcore sites.
The models were almost all great looking girls.
I've been a member of MetArt many times in the past. I've also been a member of some of the newer sites in their network.
But I've never gotten a refund from them.
Maybe I should send an email complaining about how they seem to favor some members over others.
I've never even sent them an email to their customer service, that I can remember.
But I agree that MetArt is probably the best site for softcore erotic teen photos on the internet, considering their price, high quality of photosets and models, and massive content.
If there was some way they could improve their videos, I would give them a 100% score. But they seem to be trying to make their videos slightly more erotic.
I think MPL Studios is a good site.
But I also don't think it's a better value than Femjoy or Metart, both of which currently offer a 1 month membership at $19.95/month.
Different people, different tastes.
But my favorite of the 3 sites is Metart.
Then MPL Studios.
Then Femjoy.
But if Metart is priced at $19.95/month, the other sites should be priced about the same.
Of course, these prices go up and down, at different times, but it's worth waiting for a special price.
And if you sign up for a newsletter, you can sometimes get a nice discount for joining.
I know I've saved money on joining Metart Network sites because I signed up for their newsletter.
An excellent review. Easy to read, gives lots of details on the site, lots of your personal impressions. Covers both the inner details of the site, and the overall structure, as well.
For a first review, or a hundredth review, this is really impressive.
Hope to read a lot more of your reviews in the future.
When Grigori Galitsin got into trouble in Russia and went to jail, MetArt removed all of his sets. He was one of the earliest photographers who contributed to MetArt (at the time MetArt was called Most Erotic Teens, which is where the M(ost) E(rotic) T(eens), or Met, came from.
But I have no idea why MetArt has been removing the sets of models recently.
I agree that Berengere A is a great-looking model. She used to have a lot of sets at HegreArt, but I believe they were removed as well.
Sometimes, if a model asks for her sets to be removed, the site will agree. Even though in many cases the site owns the rights to the photosets. I believe they do it out of respect for the model's wishes. Which seems like a nice gesture.
But I have no information on why Berengere's sets were removed.
I'm not currently a member of x art.
When I was a member, I never encountered any download limits or problems. I have a 2.3 MB/sec download speed, and when I first joined, I downloaded a lot of their content in the first few days, and was never blocked.
At a different site, that had a download limit of 10 GB/day, I was blocked, because their system was faulty, and it blocked me after downloading about 3 GB. That happened a few times, being blocked for 24 hours. But it never happened at x art.
The price for each site (with PU discount):
x art $24.95
passion hd $17.95
fantasy hd $17.95
x art has over 300 videos. The videos are short. Many are only around 10-14 minutes in length.
fantasy is small site. Less than 40 videos. The videos run around 30 minutes.
passion hd has over 200 videos. The videos run around 30 minutes.
All three sites are glamcore style. Very attractive models. No gonzo sex (rough, violent, abusive to the women).
I like the selection of models at x art. And the videos and photos. They models are some of the most attractive teens and early-twenties models in porn, and the photographers and video-makers try to present the models as attractively as possible. X-art is my favorite glamcore site, along with the Diesel Access network.
But passion hd also seems like a good site. Not as nice as X Art, which is top-of-the-line. But worth visiting at least once, if you like glamcore style.
But fantasy hd is too small. You can download the entire site in a few days, and then there's nothing else to get.
Excellent review, as usual.
There is some duplication of material at TMW and the Diesel Network. But the duplicated material is offered at higher definition at the Diesel network. And I think the same videos are, at least in my opinion, better quality (brighter colors, whatever). So I didn't mind the duplication.
They eliminated a few of the dead sites a while back, the ones that had the least value (very poor quality of videos).
The main draw for me is large number of really attractive models the site offers. I realize many of same models are at other sites (TMW, whatever), but Diesel offers nice videos and photosets of lovely girls in softcore and hardcore.
If you are interested in searching for the material offered on a particular model, a site such as: ndexxx.com
might be useful.
It's not as easy as using a better search box at Diesel, but it offers you the chance to see what sites the model appears at, for both videos and photosets.
And you can also search by specific sites, using the Website list hot-link, that lists the models that have appeared at individual sites.
You get free access to what sites, for how long?
And after the free access, which I assume ends in a short while, your free membership, which can be cancelled, I assume, then turns into a paid membership at what price?
There are sites in the Met Art network I would like to visit, if the free membership is for a week or more.
But 1-day memberships are too short for me. I'm not that efficient that I can explore a site in 1 day very well.
I'm currently a member of several sites in the Met Art network, and there's not enough hours in a day to do them justice.
I didn't even know Watch 4 Beauty was going to be part of their network.
It seems that are adding new sites at a rapid pace. Some of the sites are older, established sites, other sites are apparently completely new.
PU has a link to join Watch $ Beauty for $14.95/month.
Like you, I wish Met Art had kept the discount link to join other sites in the network for $10/month.
Maybe, just hoping, if one of the Met Art web masters looks at the PU comments, they might bring it back. Or not.
