When were you last a member? For the last few weeks, this site has been hyping a picture of an open lock in their member's area with "Goodbye DRM" underneath the pic.
I believe that DRM's are a thing of the past at this site.

I'm a member of DP Fanatics, which is part of the same network. When I joined that site, I thought that they were pretty clear as to what I would be getting right away and what I would have access to later. I'm definitely happy with how that has gone, since I really like the 21st Sextury style and especially their pics.
But after reading your review, I checked out the "Join Now" page of this site. I couldn't make heads or tails out of what they're saying to understand what I would and would not be getting - lots of options, none of them very well spelled out.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'm glad to hear that they're doing some good things with this site. I had thought that it was dying.
Kelly's gorgeous - I've seen candids of her at internet model conventions and she is as hot or hotter when she isn't posing.

Agreed - this is a really nice site and is getting better. I've been a member for about 2 months and they have lots of hot models and I like the fetishes that they tend to focus on (like nurses and they did a really hot police interrogation piece recenly).
I would like the vids to be even bigger so that they look good full screen. The vids currently look a bit small to me and don't look good zoomed to full-screen.
The other criticism I have is sylistic. The way that they choose to photoshop their pics give things a shellac-like surface that I find off-putting.
On the definite plus side, they are VERY responsive to comments. Any comment e-mail that I have sent and any other needs that I have had to contact them have been responded to within 2 or 3 days.

I agree with this - being a recipient of two mis-trust ratings and wondering where that comes from.
It would be helpful to us users that are doing the reviews to see why other users thing that we are not to be trusted.
Hopefully the comments would be good, constructive criticism.

One cool thing about this site - I don't know if anyone round her was a fan of Trixie Teen - a really gorgeous, slinky Latina with great perky natural boobs. Anyway, she has grown up a bit, has really sexy tats and a goth-ish style, and is a model on this site.
I can't say that any of these reviews seem very trustworthy to me. When I stumbled on the Trixie Teen connection, I checked it out a bit and it seemed to be more of a forum than a photo/vid site.
I'd be interested in someone doing a review with stats as to numbers of photo sets/pics/vids, some indication of photo resolution or vid sizes.
Since the webmaster has already posted here, that kind of feedback would be helpful from him/her as well.

So that un-met expectations aren't created, ALS Scans promises to keep the videos up for 1 month. It is often the case that they get left up for quite a bit longer - 2 months is about the maximum.
But then 1 day you will log in and all the vids older than 4 weeks are gone - until they're brought back at some point in the Director's Favorites area or as part of a bonus or as a re-mastered vid.
It would be nice if they kept vids up for 2 months in a consistent way.

One other thing to keep in mind with this site is that if you want to see Kate fully nude, showing her really lovely pussy, you will have to buy zip sets at extra cost. This is pretty common in the world of solo-girl sites, but I know some people consider it a real ripoff, so it's worth noting.
Kate used to be really active in her members' forum, which was fun, though I don't know if she continues the level of activity that she had when I was a member well over a year ago.

The best way that I have seen to deal with older lower-quality content is the example of ALS Scans - they are consistently remastering their older material and re-presenting it in a higher quality format.

While I understand the reason that site-owners charge more the first month - because so many people join for one month only - I think the smarter site-owners and the ones that are more satisfaction-oriented will do things that reward people that stay longer with things like higher-res zip sets (Karen Dreams) or more bonus sites (DP Fanatics).
I like sites that reward members for sticking around with more than just $5 less after 1 month.

There are great sites out there that are active and are updating on a regular schedule. There are a lot of rotten sites out there that are dead or rarely update. Some great sites , like Club Thaichix, have fairly ugly designs and give very little indication that it is a great, consistently updated site with people who run it that care about the site and the members.
Some rotten sites have pretty attractive designs with lots of bells and whistles.
One excellent way for a user to tell which is which is if the public material gives dated update info for the past 2 weeks-1 month.
Phil Flash's individual model sites are a great example. You can tell from the face of the site which are being updated regularly and which have gone dead. Maybe you still want to join a dead site to see material that you haven't seen yet.
I appreciate knowing what's what.

This really is Gauge's site. I had some e-mail correspondence with her when I was a member, trying to find out if there were going to be updates and to find out if she were going to attend an upcoming AdultCon. This was 1 1/2 years ago maybe. She was pretty lacksadaisical as to when she might be updating the site, didn't think it was all that important.
The best thing about this site is the cool intro. It's all downhill from there.
I found a similar situation with Stephanie Swift's site. Stephanie's site had a bit more content but wasn't being updated and Stephanie, like Gauge, was busy with other things.
Both these women need to hire a good, professional webmaster/mistress to run things for them.
My current theory - if a site doesn't have dated updates to let you know for sure that stuff is going on that's new and frequent, it probably isn't being updated much.

What matters to me is whether the guy is interested in the girl. I too am a Twisty's member and consider it a "must" site - the variety, volume and quality of updates - both pics and vids - perhaps the best navigation of any site I can think of - search by model, search by body type, search by outfit - it's all really easy at Twisty's and the results are usually very enticing.
The webmaster's post above indicates how much they care about having a great site.

One issue that I found with this site, which is supposed to be updated every day, is that there have been days at a time when the only thing you could do with a new day's set was to save it to your "Favorite Sets" area. You couldn't browse the set, you couldn't download the zip of the set.
I also found that their webmasters seemed to be snoozing when this would be going on - members would be posting in the forum about these issues with NO webmaster responding and Eve herself never seems to participate on that level.
If they tighten up the site so that the updates are not just as scheduled but you can actually do something with each update, that would be better and if they can get a webmaster that is responsive to member complaints, that would also be a huge help.
