Excellent point about sets being released over the course of years. Sometimes you can pinpoint the date of a shoot by body modification - for instance, Kate of Kate's Playground, had a piercing in her back that became infected, had to be removed and she had a small, but easily visible, scar there after the piercing was removed. So the "before" and "after" were easy to identify, but sets with the piercing were released, mixed with post-piercing sets, over a long period of time.

TBP doesn't run the site - they can't control issues like regional pricing. They can, however, reach out to popular sites, such as MetArt and see if they can get MetArt to give TBP customers a special discount - so that's what they did.
Then they created a forum where people like yourself can complain about the regional pricing issue.
You can't expect TBP to do more than that

Yeah, this is one of the sites that is trying to deal with the economic downturn by doing a lot more advertising in a prominent place on their home page and aiming for affiliate income.
I preferred the old version of the home page, which focused more on the material that I'm paying my membership for. But I love the site and wish them well, so if affiliate income is what they need to keep going and to maintain the incredible quality and rate of content, I say, "Do what you gotta do, MetArt"
I also agree about the navigation being improved - and it was always quite good - and the presentation of the photo-sets being improved from what it was before.

Here's my take on this. These sites do a lot of different offers. They figure out where the offer is going to be made and to who. They figure out how many people are likely to take the offer and all these things affect their bottom line.
Perhaps the problem with the 2-for-1 deal is that they didn't figure it would get too many hits and that if it was being publicized here, it would get more than they had counted on and be a problem for them, rather than a help of getting new Nubiles customers as their customers. I dunno.
Both Met Art and Nubiles are among my favorite sites. I want them both to do well. If publicizing this offer more broadly than they intended was something they considered to be a problem for them, then I'm glad they took the action they took and that TBP/PU was professional enough to respond promptly to their request.
It's no insult to TBP/PU members and nobody here should take it as one. That's my view.

I guess the etiquette on these e-mail deals is to say, "Check your e-mail - you might have gotten an offer too" as opposed to posting links.
Fine by me. Once I know an offer exists, they can almost always be found. And this was a nice one.

Count me in with lk - the amount of excellent material for my tastes is pretty much un-paralleled, though there are many sets that I'm not interested in - given their rate of updates, I'm rarely going a day without finding a photo-set that I like quite a bit.
Their vids set the standard for "how boring can you be?"
Their cam shows - which go on for much of the day - are frequently wonderful. Though if you're craving babes banging themselves and screaming "EddieRascal411, fuck my ass now!", stick to the cam shows at Naughty America - you won't see that here.

Yep - all true. If you enjoy softer nude stuff well-presented with gorgeous babes - updated daily, this sites's pretty awesome.
If you're looking for boy/girl stuff or harder solo stuff, this site will frustrate the hell out of you.
I would highly recommend Nubiles.net for people that are frustrated by Met Art but like the type of girls that they post. Nubiles.net also has multiple updates a day, lots of great HQ masturbations vids, some boy/girl vids - and you can be delighted to find girls that went on to be notable porn babes who did great stuff here early in their careers.

Does the TBP staff feel a lot of chagrin when these kind of price specials are pointed out? I haven't seen them express any.
Met Art's a great site - and this is a really nice one-month price. They just posted a new (to me anyway) pre-boob-job Nella set the other day - beautiful!

I don't think it's suspicious when someone starts their posting career at PU giving the highest ratings ever - probably because that's what I did. I started posting in order to let people here know about the sites that I thought were the best around - and I think all of my first reviews were in the 90's as a result.
I think it's the case that most people start posting here because they're passionate in one direction or another - they're either excited to let people know about the sites they think are fantastic or they've been burned by a site and they want to let people here know that was the case.
We need to give newbie posters a break - if they stick around a while, they'll probably settle down and be more moderate in their ratings.
Met Art deserves high praise - they're one of the most consistent, professional, generous sites around and if you like soft erotic photography, they are a truly great site.

Saying that Met Art's vids are boring is not saying that they are not hard-core. They are boring soft-core vids. I'm not saying that you could not have interesting soft-core vids. Hegre does them. I like Hegre's vids probably more than I do his pics. His vids are unique, they've got character, they've got personality, they've got humor, as well as looking and sounding great - they're interesting!
Met Art's vids are booooooooooooooooooooooring! Most are painfully boring. I've never seen one of their vids that I wanted to watch a second time, and it's not because they're soft-core and I was thinking "man, if only she were getting fucked!" It's because they were hideously, painfully boring and I was thinking "man, this vid absolutely sucks!"
If I were only into hard-core, I wouldn't be as complimentary about this site as I am. I really like the pics, really dis-like the vids.

Nice review of a great pic site - I still can't recommend this site to anybody that is more into vids than pics. The vids on this site are just miserably boring. They're HQ, very pretty, and very, very boring.

I have yet to see a good vid at Met Art - the vast majority are unbearable, they did manage to do a few that are OK, but this is not a vid site at all. It's a great pics site. They have a great variety of models and enough variety of photogs and styles to keep it as a site that I look forward to checking out every day - and the multiple updates a day can't be beat.

I've gotta say that I finally - after 3 years or so of membership - saw a vid on their site that didn't make me turn it off in less that 1 minute.
Yes, it's by their usual video guy - Goncharov. Yes, it's got that same Cinemax synth-flute music. So what's the difference with their new vid - Marinan? Simple - the model has so much joi de vivre and is such a joy to watch that even the guy that has made more hideously boring vids of gorgeous women than anybody I can think of couldn't ruin it - or maybe he's getting better finally?
Ya never know!

I checked out the quality the new streaming HD vid in the high speed choice - ucccchh! Blurry crap. I downloaded the vid and played it on Windows Media Player - looks good. Unfortunately I don't really like their vids, but it looked good. So far the streaming HD vid on their site is not a winner.

The newest thing in the e-mail is that they will be offering streaming HD in addition to the downloadable HD that they have been offering, then say that they'll be offering 15 vids a month, so we should be expecting to see them every other day. So far this month, they have posted 12 new vids - with a 3rd of the month left.

No doubt about the value - multiple photo-sets every single day mean that there's always something exciting that I haven't seen before - their archives are deep, deep, deep.
Add the vids (which I'm mainly NOT a fan of) and the cam shows, which sometimes have smoking hot models, and you've got one helluva site.
I honestly can't think of another site that gives their members more high quality material on a regular basis.

I'm surprised that they don't respond to e-mails because they are such a great site in other ways.
They definitely have their distinctive style, but they have enough variety to keep me consistently interested. While every shoot doesn't have me jumping for joy, I find that I have NO problem finding exciting stuff every time I log in, because the archives are so deep and there is so much posted each day.
I agree with the comments about the boring vids - Met Art could give lessons in how to make high-quality, REALLY boring vids - but the excellent photo-sets and consistent daily multiple updates keeps me a very happy member.

Yeah, the cam chats are a rather "unique" community of regulars - lol. Then there's the rules about not using nasty language like the word "ass". It's funny. I rarely go to the cam chats, though there's a model Masha that I look out for, because she is truly DDG, in my opinion and only does cam chats, has no photo sets or vids on this site.

This is one of my absolute fave sites out there. I've got a pretty active imagination, so I like tease sites and sites that show gorgeous women in softer ways than full-spread sites.
This review is accurate that it is not a full-spread site. I don't think this review gives this site credit for the range of models or the range of styles presented. It's that range that guarantees for me that there is one set a day - or at most one set every other day that I find thoroughly captivating.
Why? Gorgeous women, beautifully presented, many waif-like, some more voluptuous, awesome photography, lots of variety in the photography, very high quality.
The vids? This review is SO right. The vids are crushingly boring, for my tastes, though they are also very high quality.

I've been a member of Met Art for approx 1 year now. I really love the site, mainly for the variety of the photography and the quality of the photography and the models.
The vids are an aspect of the site that I pretty much ignore for months at a time. They're just not exciting to me. They are very soft vids of their models cavorting in the surf or on rocks or something like that. They are pretty vids with nice music - the sound is sumptuous.
Having said all of that, I downloaded one of their recent vids in the DIVX version - their highest quality download, according to the site. The file was about 350MB for a 15 minute vid. The video quality, watching it on the newest version Windows Media Player full-screen, is pretty damned fantastic - pretty much DVD quality. The sound is truly outstanding. The content is not terribly exciting to me, though.
I'm there for the pics and, every once in a while, the cam shows.
